IC:Odhran"I don't know." Odhran said frustratedly. He pulled out a map. "It looks like we can dock there." he said, pointing at a cantina that was close to the middle of the largest island.
IC: TwiliteTwilite watched as the boat drifted slowly towards a cantina on an island. He couldn't wait to get off the ship and perform whatever Odhran planned for them.OOC: Unless he gets let down XD
OOC:They're going to break the laws of physics if they follow Odhran's directions. Someone save the crew! IC:Odhran"Alright guys, this is supposedly a hive of scum and villainy. So be alert and someone stay on the ship at all times." Odhran said, a grin on his face.
IC(Draebe): The pirate slowed the boat down as he ran over to the anchor. Approaching a good distance(I.E, the boat wasn't scraping against the ground), he threw the anchor down. "We're good. Permission to go to land?"
IC:Odhran"Permission granted. Now crew, I know I said this is a place of scum and villainy, but try not to let that get you down. Remember what we're here for." Odhran said, his grin fading into a serious look.
IC(Draebe): "No. I was never told why we were going here. That would be a helpful tale to tell."
IC:OdhranHis face deepened. "Nobody told you?" he asked, his face reaching unknown levels of seriousness. His seriousness out serious-ed the most serious person to ever be serious.
IC(Draebe): "No...no. When did this even occur?" He retained his usual demeanor, a constant bluff of overconfidence.
IC: "I'd think... if done right, no pinpricking or actual pain would be needed," Anavel said, she now having received a cup of who-knows-what, gently pushing it between her hands, letting the cup slide across the smooth surface of the table. "Liiiiike, if illusions were... created in the mind, or just... affected the actual percept of reality, then, perhaps, a false... false perception could be altered to the point where someone might... hmmm, think that the scary oogedy boogedy is real. Or, lock them in an unending cycle of the same thing, so like, if they try to break out of it, they just end up where they started... endless cycles usually make people a lil' crazy, and with the mental fatigue... well, maybe they'd stop resisting, then." Anavel stated, trying to articulate her own vision, though she wasn't the best with words.
IC - Sucogu - MeetingIt was time. This was when he was to to be here. He looked around for the Vortixx.
IC: Jagorik: Islet's Cantina: Jagorik looked around to see the Toa.
IC - Sucogu - Greeting JagorikSucogu waved, walking over. "I am here, as you requested."
IC: Moylan "If any of you need me-" She said to the rest of the crew, and Ohdran "Or want to be sliced into pieces-" That was spoken like a dagger at Twilite. "I'll be here on the ship."
IC: Jagorik: Islets' Cantina: "Yes, you are. Now, let us resume our negotiations: where the KARZ do we put this guy?!!" Jagorik yelled drunkly.
IC - Sucogu - Not being drunkThe Toa of lightning took a swig of his drink."In the brig," he started, "Of the ship we're going to steal."
IC: JAgorik: Islets' Cantina: "Ship> HOO! That'll be tomorrow's subject, class..." Jagorik screamed as he fell out of his chair. Suddenly, an small piece of paper slipped out of his arm. It says, 'Bring me back to my house, right next to the entrance. It has a Kini-Nui emblem.'
IC - Sucogu - "Sobering" JagorikThe Toa of lightning placed a hand on the Vortixx's shoulder. It might've looked caring, except that he shocked him awake."No more drinks for you, my friend."
IC: Pirok"I can explain that." Pirok said, as the Skakdi's grip tightened. "I HAD the money, but now, I DON'T have the money, but I will GET the money."IC: KraalConfused by the Matoran's use of tenses, Kraal's grip loosened as he tried to figure out what that sentence actually meant.IC: PirokThis was just enough for Pirok to make an escape, and as he ran towards the Cantina, he shouted back:"Here's a tip: Don't think! You're not any good at it!"
IC:Odhran"Alright men, I guess it's time for you to know why we're here." Odhran said, his face impossibly serious. "We're here to... P-Wait is that a Makuta Fish?" He asked, getting completely sidetracked.
IC: [Darylhii/Septimus] The Kumu Islets were one of the most dangerous places in Mata Nui, meaning that it was fitting that Darylhii, who is considered a dangerous predator in the jungles Le-Wahi, had decided to visit them. Obviously he had a reason for this, since no sane person would come here without one. However, one would also note that he wasn't really right in the head, so it could be possible for him to have come without a reason. Septimus however, did have a few reasons for coming to the Islets. One was that he was an explorer, meaning that he was supposed to explore places. The second was that he was rather bored, and boredom made people do really stupid things. And because of the fact that the universe loved screwing with random people, he was lucky enough to encounter Darylhii in the middle of a swamp. "Crud," he muttered, face paling at the sight of the Toa of the Green. In his journeys he had obviously heard of the evil monster that prowled the jungles, but he hadn't really thought he'd meet it. The Matoran of Plasma slowly walked backwards, never taking his eyes off the other being. He knew that the tiniest lack of concentration could mean that he would find himself pierced with hundreds of plants, so he had to make sure nothing was going to keep him from running away. "I wish I could actually have some random Toa nearby to save me," Septimus said quietly, his hand twitching near his belt, where his shortsword was sheathed.
IC: Why has the mercenary business become so unprofitable all of a sudden?.. thought Enara as she waited. OOC: Enara open for any mercenary missions, be it assassination, escort, guarding something etc.
IC: Pirok (Matoran)Pirok walked into the cantina and, noticing a Toa and a Vortixx, sat down as close to them as possible. If Kraal walked in, he would be less likely to attack him if there were powerful beings nearby.IC: KraalPirok needn't have worried about Kraal walking in, as he instead simply walked into the nearest bar and took a seat.OOC: Kraal and Pirok both open for interaction.
IC: Whiarn fired at Lasc's blade, hoping to melt it and damage to hurt Lasc's sword hand as he leaped backwards and tripped over a fern, scrambling to get back up.
IC(Draebe): "Pretty sure that's a Razor Fish. Go on, please."
IC - Sucogu - Going to the docksThe Toa of lightning dragged the Vortixx to the dock in the Islets. He found a boat, with only a single female being on it."May I borrow this boat? I need to make the journey to Ta-Wahi." he inquired.(OOC: Tag, TDC.)
IC: It would have taken a far more powerful force to damage protosteel, but Lasc's sword arm was knocked back. Lasc shrugged as his foe began to flee, tripped and got up again. When the matoran had finally gone, he sheathed his blade, and retrieved his daggers. The audience had vanished apparently, and his ship had been dragged out by the tide; just as well, he wouldn't have to bury his friends. He strode off, towards Xa-koro. Ten minutes later, he entered the small town. His eyes took in the slumness of it, and his nose sniffed under his mask. He began walking towards the docks. OOC: Okay, KNI, what are you guys doing right now?
OOC: @ KoNI: Puppet Jagorik for Fri. Sat. Sun, K? IC: JAgorik: Xa-Koro Docks: Jagorik entered a mind twisting dream about fire and lava.
IC: Whiarn griped as he trudged towards Xa-Koro. What a disgrace! He thought, frying a small rahi. I should've beaten him! Ah, well, maybe something's going on in the village. OOC: Whiarn open for interaction!
IC SalvinnA hooded figure had bee perched in the trees, when he saw the Toa arrive, followed shortly by the Matoran. He could feel the fear in the being, after all it weakened him. Before making his move he thought on the reason he was in the first place. My life with the Matoran had started becoming, well, boring. Sure the hope they felt when I left and came back for bandit raids, filled me with energy. It wasn't enough, hope goes away when things become routine. So I decided to set up one last burst of hope. "Friends!" I had yelled to them. "I've decided the time has come for me to rally supporters and overthrow Makuta." The is set them abuzz with hope, of course I really didn't plan to defeat Makuta, but hey it filled them with hope. At this point my Mark took over and my words became filled with energy, I said I didn't know I was going to say. Like bringing them fame and awakening Mata-Nui and boy it sure felt good to feel all that Hope. That had been what had led Salvinn out of the village, he saved a few Matoran to get hope and now after a long while of walking he had been led here to save another. He first fired a few warning shots at the Toa, then spoke "Toa," got to play this up a bit. "You must be quite a menace, to scare innocent Matoran just by being seen, I suggest you leave them alone or my next arrow will go through your heart." He called from the treetops while nocking another arrow. OOC: Hubert those are your characters.
IC: Enara was still waiting at the bar. OOC: Enara open for interaction.
IC: Pirok (Matoran)Pirok's 'protection' had left the Cantina, so he walked out, then, noticing one of the Matoran who had been fighting earlier, walked over to him (That's Whiarn)."Hello. You probably don't remember me, I tried to end your fight down on the beach."
IC: Dermius The boat wasn't anything special. Nicely enough, it was inconspicuous. It wasn't too dirty, or very clean, but it was all he needed, and that was good enough. It was cheap, at least. Though he hadn't had much need for money at the moment. He was an assassin - he'd killed too many people to retire. He enjoyed this, wandering the land looking for work.He had just woken up when a crew member called for him to the deck."Hey! You awake down there? We're nearly there. Just have to set down now." Dermius grunted and stood up, tapping the lightstone on the shabby desk next to his bed. He put on his cloak, put his weapons in their appropriate scabbards and fixings and went upstairs."There it is, sir. Xa-Koro, just like you wanted. Not much of a place, mind you. Unsavoury, I think is the word."The ship set down, and the assassin stepped off onto the beach.
OOC: The only purpose of this post is to kill-off Kraal. I've gotten bored of him, so... yeah. Kraal was the kind of Skakdi who made enemies. What he didn't realise was that one of them was in the bar. A Skakdi had walked up behind Kraal. Kraal, noticing the shadow that had fallen over him, turned around."What do you wa-"Kraal's chest was pierced by a dagger. He was dead within seconds. OOC: The Skakdi who killed him was an NPC, FYI.
IC:Odhran"I'm sorry." Odhran said, regaining his composure. "As I was saying, we're here to...
HAVE A PARTY!"Odhran said, pumping his fist in the air. "This is the one place where law doesn't affect how things work, and thus is the safest place for us to stay for a while." he explained. "And since we got so much loot, why not party?"
IC: Moylan "A... party? Seriously, a party?" She said, shaking her head. And this guy was supposed to be the captain of a ship? "Count me out. Bring me back some food though!" She remarked toward Ohdran.
IC:Odrhan"We will! Keep an eye on the ship would ya Moylan?" Odhran said happily. "C'mon guys, lets party!"
IC: TwiliteHe looked at Odhran with a puzzling look, wondering why they were going to "party." This was the Kumu Islets. Tons of action and boats to plunder! But at the same time, Odhran was the captain, and the captain knew best.
IC:Odhran"So, who's coming ashore?" Odhran asked the two remaining crewmembers.
OOC: Skraatuth from Ga-Wahi IC (Skraatuth, rocky beach): A jagged, stormy, desolate looking world faded into view. Skraatuth sat up, taking in her surroundings. It seemed she had inadvertently crashed at the shores of... Somewhere. She slowly got to her feet, checking for injuries as she did so. Fortunately there was no real harm done, just a few cuts and bruises. But the yacht she had stolen was a wreck. Pieces of wood and metal littered the bleak, grey ground on which she stood. But how did this happen? As she took a few steps backward to take in her surroundings, she trod on something sharp. After a sharp intake of breath, she turned to see what it was. A beer bottle. She made a mental not never to drink and sail ever again. By the looks of things, however, she had still ended up in the Kumu Islets, which was lucky. She hopped across several huge boulders that lined the beach, and on to flat ground. She headed in the direction of Xa-Koro, possibly the most wretched hive of scum and villainy ever to exist on the island of Mata-Nui. The perfect place to start a new life. OOC: Skraatuth open for interaction
