Guys, IMHO, instantly recognizing imitation powers seems kind of meta-gamey.
I'm fairly certain that people with powers of imitation are rather rare, even in Bionifight, so realistically, one would just assume that the Host has lightning powers-- at least, until they've seen him use a lot of different abilities.
*Snaps fingers*
I explained my logic. Xara uses her powers to a certain degree in a certain way, and then the Host immediately goes and uses the exact same powers in the exact same way to the exact same degree. Thats fairly telling. And if he just had lightning powers...then why do the spark thing? There's no need to do it if it were a natural power, so it looks way more like he's just sponged Xara's power
Third try’s the charm...maybe
Name: Donrioda
Species: Toa of Electricity
Power/Weapon 1: Elemental power over electricity – duh. That’s just a given, considering she’s a Toa of Electricity. What she lacks in physical prowess she more than makes up for in elemental strength.
Power/Weapon 2: The Kanohi
MECHTA, KAHNOHI OF MECH. IT MAKES A MECHKakama, Mask of speed, which enables Donriod to go at incredibly fast speeds.Power/Weapon 3: A singular robotic assistant, which floats along with Donriod at all times. It is controlled by a device embedded in his hand, and she can tell it to attack people. The assistant is capable of only one form of attack: Slicing people with the spinning blade attached to the bottom. It’s almost like a flying blender.
Except actually dangerous.
Appearance: Donrioda is a normal-looking Toa of Electricity. At least, from where she comes. The normal colors in her universe consist of “Primarily black with glowing yellow accents”. And, thus, she follows that pattern. Her eyes glow yellow, just like the lines on her armor, and her Kakama is...actually mostly glowing.
Kinda makes it hard to see her eyes.
She is tall and agile looking, though it’s clear she isn’t the strongest of Toa around. Though, according to her, the brighter the glow of a Toa, the better they are, and she certainly is nice and bright.
Bio: According to Donrioda herself, she hails from a special universe, where Mata Nui was in constant, consistent contact with the inhabitants within. He taught them, educated them, and enhanced them in all sorts of ways, changing the inhabitants into forms more efficient, better, and stronger than before. As time passed on, Mata-Nui slowly began to become silent, speaking less and less frequently, until one day, he fell into utter silence.
That day, the suns never rose above any island. That day, everything went dark. The inhabitants didn’t know what to do. Their god, their universe, was unresponsive, everything was dark. What could they do?
Time passed. And, as time passed, things changed, Matoran, Toa, Skadki, Vortixx, and every other race began adorning themselves with lights. Rahi became bioluminescent, allowing them to see in the ever-present darkness. Time continued onwards, and everything returned to (almost) normal – artificial suns were built in each dome, providing some form of light, at least enough to see. The glowing bands and patterns began to fade, except as a sign of status. And, of course, Donrioda was a very important Toa. Why?
She refuses to say. Maybe she saved a Matoran, maybe she was just powerful, maybe everything she said was a lie. No one knows.
Her drone, though, she’ll willingly talk about. Drones like that were commonplace, an easy way for one to autonomously defend themselves against the threats of the dark. In fact, from where she is from, it’s uncommon one does not have one of those drones.
Personality/Other: A Toa not afraid to do a bit of dirty work, Donrioda is slick, sly, yet still somewhat honorable. She’s willing to talk to almost anyone, so long as it benefits her in some way, either boosting her reputation, or letting her know about other fighters.
It doesn’t do good to be totally unable to learn about the enemy, after all.

Yes, this is correct - there's no reason that any characters should be recognizing the imitation powers of the Host at this time.
E: Ninja'd! But still - suspecting and knowing are two different things. The Host could easily be copying the manner of how Xara used the powers just to make a point.
Toa-level psionic powers are quite overpowered, so as long as they're weakened or limited somehow you should be all set to go, conclusions.
MECHTA, KAHNOHI OF MECH. IT MAKES A MECH

YES I CAN HAVE A FLYING BLENDER
So, OOCwise, when should the fights start? Week-ish?
Likely a bit sooner than that.
Archived Profiles found here.
Toa-level psionic powers are quite overpowered, so as long as they're weakened or limited somehow you should be all set to go, conclusions.
Here's the list of abilities Toa of Psionics have access to (courtesy of BS01):
Creating illusions that can fool all five senses.
Inducing nightmares in beings who are asleep.Unleashing mental blasts of energy.Having limited mind control; unable to direct a being to do anything against their morals.Telekinesis - Controlling and moving objects by mental force.Telepathy - Detecting and reading nearby minds.Transmitting the thoughts of one being into another being's mind.Masking one's presence from other lifeforms.Unleashing a Psionics Nova Blast. (Toa-exclusive)
Obviously, Nova Blasts are out. I'll also ditch nightmare-making, limited mind control, transmitting thoughts, and nerf illusions. The resulting list:
Creating illusions that can fool two senses.
Unleashing mental blasts of energy.Telekinesis - Controlling and moving objects by mental force.Telepathy - Detecting and reading nearby minds.Masking one's presence from other lifeforms.
How does that work for you?

That sounds fine. Post an updated profile and you'll be good to go.
Just... don't expect any of those to help your character against the Queen, should it come to that. Not yet, anyway.

My characters both have perfectly valid reasons to recognise that the Host has some kind of imitation ability.
Xara knows her own power when she sees it, and Dayeth is wearing a Mask of Emulation, which is very similar to the Host's mimicry, so she'd be able to recognise it for what it is.

Gotcha. I promise to toe the line with Her Majesty.
Updated profile:
Name: Albrecht von Armbrüster
Species: Toa of Psionics
Power/Weapon 1: Limited elemental Psionics. Allows Albrecht to create illusions that can fool up to two senses, unleash mental blasts of energy, control and move objects using mental force (telekinesis), detect and read nearby minds (telepathy), and mask his presence from other lifeforms.
Power/Weapon 2: Mask of Intangibility
Power/Weapon 3: A steel war-hammer named Brünnhilde. Though this weapon is entirely inanimate. Albrecht speaks to her as though she were alive.
Appearance: Tall and strong, Albrecht's armour is marked with the scars and slashes of a thousand battles, each more violent than the last. His armour is dark red, and his mask is gold, with a long, thin scar tracing over the left eye. When not in battle, he wears a ragged black cloak, stained with the dust and blood of a hundred adventures, each more legendary than the last. Albrecht is strong but lean, so his muscles, though not as big as some, are displayed quite attractively. He carries Brünnhilde at his belt: her hilt is wrapped in worn brown leather, and she has a large head with a spike on one side.
Biography: Albrecht's name is feared in his homeland: he is the doom of a dozen nations, each more fearful than the last. His mighty hammer, as strong as she is beautiful, has carved a path of destruction and death through armies big enough to blanket mountains. His skill in battle is legendary, but the man himself is distant and mysterious. No one knows his mind or who he was before he killed his first opponent. He spends his time seeking out worthy opponents, those whom he may duel honourably. Naturally, he always grants them an honourable death: he would ask no different for himself.
Personality/Other: Albrecht is without fear. He has walked the Path of a Thousand Knives, knocked the Dragon of Qarlo from his terrible peak, and he will readily do even more dangerous things without a second thought. He is intelligent, to be sure, but honour comes before all, and he will never refuse an opportunity at glory. Few truly know him, save his trusty war-hammer, Brünnhilde, whom he speaks to as though she understands his every word.
Name: Prose
Species: Rahkshi of Prosperity from the same Melding Universe as Kuro
Power/Weapon 1: Light Level Prosperity (The opposite of Shadow Level Hunger)
Power/Weapon 2: Large Shovel (kinda like the size of a scythe) called Excavator
Power/Weapon 3: A Pick called Pokey
Appearance: A black and gold Rahkshi. He looks like a typical Rahkshi.
Bio: Like Kuro, he was a guard of a Makuta, and is also intelligent. He knew Kuro as he was his friend.
Personality/Other: He's Male. He loves treasure, but unlike what Hunger Rahkshi would probably do. Others are likely to share in his prosperity.

I don't think anything except having a power that literally allows the user to detect the powers of another character would be able to tell that the Host has imitation powers.
The Queen is a psionics user, but if there was another psionics user in the room and the Host was suddenly speaking with telepathy, she would not immediately assume that he copied her; and considering how many electric/lightning related characters are in play right now, that makes it even more of a stretch (in addition to the fact that neither of your characters know anything about the Host).
That sounds fine. Post an updated profile and you'll be good to go.

Mind just using our profile? Makes things easier overall. ^^'Name: Kopen
Species: Ka-Matoran (Dodge)
Gender: Female
Kanohi: Kakama
Power/Weapon 1: Kopen is blind and has learned to rely heavily on sensitive echolocation to navigate. She cannot “see” fine details, but it makes her very difficult to sneak up on. Vision and light based attacks do not affect her, but a silence field would be devastating.
Power/Weapon 2: A device surgically implanted into her face giving her limited access to her mask power. That, coupled with her innate dodge powers and years of practice make it easier for her to wear down opponents, avoiding their blows until they wear themselves out, and she can strike. It is not foolproof, as a silent or very fast blow can catch her off guard.
Power/Weapon 3: A long, golden staff tipped with three blades on either end. The blades are serrated and twist around each other into a point, making it an ideal weapon for digging through most types of armor. She’s rather attached to it and the clear ring the blades produce when struck.
Appearance: Kopen has taken to covering herself in scraps of cloth of all colors and textures. This covering includes a piece wrapped around her eyes and a round, flattened hat cocked off to one side of her head. Beneath the wrappings, there is an occasional glint of red and silver armor. Her armor clicks as she walks, providing the pings she needs for echolocation. She has a small, agile build, but otherwise looks like any other Matoran.
Bio: Kopen was a mistake. The circumstances around her creation are hazy, but even before she lost her sight in an accident, she was the target of many glares and insults from her fellow Matoran. After she tried to save another Matoran from a Rahkshi attack and was blinded, she was expelled from her village at last. She took to surviving the only way she knew how: little favors here and there, earning much respect and many clients, but never any friends.
Personality: Kopen is quiet and distrustful, usually staying off to the side, always listening. She enjoys moving quickly, as it makes her vision more accurate.
He.....did?
I don't see how his is any different?
He.....did?
I don't see how his is any different?
He did not, actually. There are changes, however slight.
E: Re-read the profile, caught what I missed before.
(We'd still like people to actually fill out the profile how we set it up tho)
To be fair, the actual power associated with that one was the second one - which actually allowed the use of the Kakama. But it makes things far easier to keep track of when people stick to the provided profile guidelines.
I guess? seems nitpicky to me.
What's with the giant sword guy? Is he gonna do something, or....?
Is that better?
I'm not exactly sure what you're pointing out. Are you saying the Kakama and device should be separate powers, or... what? As far as I saw, the only deviation was putting Gender and Kanohi up top rather than in Personality.
Is that better?
I'm afraid not

I do believe that it might be the Enforcer. They would only be there if they feel that a reminder is needed.
A reminder of what?
A reminder of what?
Well, I wouldn't know. I'm not one of the staff members that's a part of that particular situation. I would imagine that a few characters might be in an argument that is getting heated while also being nearby the Host.
hm.
Can't imagine why~
I'm back from my wrestling match, what did I miss? Is Squid dead or something?
Nope. Kuro politely left to handle something but then forgot about returning to you.
But also, the Host has arrived and is giving the combatant a tour of the place. The Queen has left and will subtract a life to those who remain in the arena after 20 minutes in-game.
Yay Squid isn't in there.
hm.
Can't imagine why~
I hope you guys understand that I'm not usually much of a jerk. It's the Host character. XP
Or perhaps this is your repressed jerkitude coming out?
Name: Damaka
Species: Toa
Power/Weapon 1: Element of Fighting Spirit: A weaponized will to win, he can draw from deep reserves of his own resolve to surge himself forward beyond all other measures, heightening instinctual combat aptitude and grit. Can literally slap some spirit into you or punch away your desire to fight, and clads his words in an unspeakable iron that can either break you or or build you up like little else.
Power/Weapon 2: Dragonslayer: An immense, spiritually bound Greatsword to end all Greatswords, source of both constant misfortune and continued victory. Despite it's massive size and weight, he wields it comfortably thanks to a lifetime of living with it and needing to use it thanks to the constant misfortune it brings, absorbing all luck from him and cutting his connections with the concept, and others like it, including the red thread of fate. Interestingly, the blade seems to be especially resistant to magical and elemental effects, a sort of supernatural bypass that can shield from a bolt of lightning or indeed smash through a weaker forcefield.
Power/Weapon 3: Kanohi Shirke: Mask of Spiritual Guide: Summons the ghostly form of a young girl to give whatever advice an ancient spirit can, and smugly. always on at a low level, which is represented as a wisp making a lazy orbit above his head.
Appearance: Of surprisingly average size and build, looking worn and weary, save for all but spirited sea-green eyes. Damaka's natural coloration tends toward Black, similar to the massive blade that can be found on his back when not in use. Save the eyes, the most contrasting features of his appearance are a tie between the blue-white wisp floating about him, and the White and Red scarf around his neck patterned after a rising sun.
Bio: Damaka, it seems, lives a a cursed life. From an early age, he was beset by terrible, terrible luck. In his childhood, he had a reputation as a walking disaster. Everywhere he went, misfortune followed, leading to fights, outcasting, even odd weather patterns. Farmers knew they'd have a good harvest with Damaka went to schooling without an umbrella. When he came into possession of the Dragonslayer, after having tripped and fallen into the lap of a dying, warrior finally shaking his curse of undeath, the effect was exacerbated even more, bringing bad luck both colossal and unrepentantly, monstrously petty. But throughout it all, he has persevered and fought to grow stronger, thanks to the last request the warrior gave him.
"Go, young man, and do justice."
Personality: Helpful and friendly, prone to brief bouts of understandable depressiveness but is otherwise more than willing to stay strong in the face of danger, and fight the good fight with an unbreakable will.
we shonen now
I hope you guys understand that I'm not usually much of a jerk. It's the Host character. XP
The Host doesn't seem like a jerk. He just seems.... incredibly, indescribably inconsiderate. Like he doesn't care at all. Not in a nasty way.... it's almost as if he flat-out doesn't comprehend of understand why everyone seems angry with him.
oh gee what gave it away

Hit the nail on the head there.
Name: Kopeyku, the Monstor,
Species: Matoran
Power/Weapon 1: His gun; it is of both Onu and Ta matoran build, allowing for a strong, fiery punch, it has been modified with a barrel he made, before this all,
Power/Weapon 2: His scopes and scanners; allow him not to be easily surprised, allow him to see with his right eye,
Power/Weapon 3: The Monstor; in a fit of rage and fury, he can change to an almost normal looking, some would go as far as to say, glorious version of himself, though he looses himself in the process, he becomes inside, vile, hatred, horrendous, a direct contrast to the wonder of his newfound exterior, due to this, he rarely reverts to this option, and will scarcely even consider it an option, Can not use due to lack of sanity every time he uses it,
Appearance: From close, one can see his deformations in their full glory, he seems to have been left to rot, and replaced himself piece by piece as the intention was fulfilled, his torso and mask appear to be Ko-Matoran, his right arm seems simply to be the tattered remnants of what it once was, he doesn't seem to have anything that would qualify as a 'hand' instead, he has a small joint ending, with two holes in it, the outermost of those holes has his gun's hilt loosely fit into it, the only thing keeping it there, is a gear. His left leg appears to be part of some speed enhanced Onu-matoran, with the ankle being Ga-matoran, the original probably was destroyed at some point or another. His right leg is obviously Ta-matoran, though it merely adds to his bodily contrast, his left shoulder appears to have been salvaged from a Rahi he must've found or killed at some point, his lower left arm actually looks like a limb that would belong to a Ko-matoran, though, in place of a hand, he has a small claw coming out, facing away from his arm, and a larger claw coming out of the other side of his wrist, running parallel with his arm. He has a small limb of sorts coming out of his back, though in retrospect, it looks more like a crazy, out of control, spinning, non-lethal, spike. Jutting upwards out of his upper back, just shy of his left shoulder, he has a device attached to him via a backpack-like strap, at the top of the device, is a ring-shaped scanner which always appears to be whirring and spinning, on the right side of his back, he has a similarly attached device that may allow for all the random devices he's been built and rebuilt of to co-respond, meaning that destroying it would cause him to go haywire, or, it could simply be there to look cool, who knows. His mask looks to have a chasm in place of a mouth, and a microphone is hovering over that pit, when he 'speaks' the microphone flashes in a blue light, once per syllable, this blue light then travels down a wire, which runs down his neck and towards his chest, the light, once reaching the end of the wire, a light gray device mounted onto his chest, causes the device to flash blue, while emitting the syllables that he 'said' his right eye glows brightly, though the color it glows is constantly changing, mounted over his right eye, is a scope, which can be retracted along the wires attaching it to his mask, to reveal the scarred and damaged remnants of his right eye, he has heavy scars on the right side of his face.
Bio: He was merely a normal Matoran, until his mask was corrupted, nearly, by a makuta, he was saved, by local Toa, but at a great cost, he could do little to control himself, and through the experimental corruption within his mask, was forced to watch as a monster grew within himself, and killed those he loved, he was banished, to Makuta territory, and in time, learned to control the Monstor, or at least limit its influence over him, and greater yet, he learnt to defend himself, and over many years time, he was able to build shelter, to heal himself, though he knew he would always be damaged inside by what the Monstor had done,
Personality/Other: Male, through the years, he learned to regain his mouth, though even this simple task leads him close to releasing the Monstor, so he will speak only through the device unless he severely trusts those he speaks with,
He's dropped his backpack of scanners for the time being and can somehow talk normally without negative consequences while in Bionifight,
I really think Squid and Kuro will be good friends if they happen to meet again.
BTW, are Kaita possible?
Probably not.
It'd be waaay OP.
So, um. The Enforcer kinda walked away. A while ago. In the same post they appeared in. =P
