IC: Naara stretched slightly. She arched her back, unfurling as she withdrew from Dorian's embrace. In stark contrast to the vortixx threatening her, she made no move to grab her maces."Naw. Dorian won't need anything after this."She yawned. Her stance settled into an easy and nonchalant lean against the wall."That is, assuming he needs you about as much as I thought he did."

IC (Jin)I sat up fully, but even that small movement hurt. Karz, I was sore. I gripped my knife in one hand, and used the other to steady myself."Oh really? "I replied. "I can think of a few things he'll need after spooning with you."One finger peeled off the hilt of my knife. "A shower."Another finger. "Therapy."A third finger; I gripped my knife loosely between my forefinger and thumb."Standards."

IC: "And I, dear colleague, can tell you the one thing Dorian would need to take you seriously:," Naara drawled back, "A karz of an intoxication."

IC: Dorian (Hospital, Xa-Koro)Risking serious injury to my already stressed abdomen, I crawled my way out of the bed and sat in the corner, trying to get out of the way of Jin and Naara before they caught poor, catatonic, gorgeous Dorian in their talons while trying to attack each other and tore me to shreds.Go, Naara! I screamed mentally; physically, I was too shell-shocked to say anything.-Teezy

IC: Floria"Well, I'm drunk." She said. And because the effects haven't wore off, "From the first stash I stole from Lohkar."

IC: Lasinia"Explosion in 3, 2, 1 ..."

IC (Jin)"Sounds like you're speaking from experience," I retorted. "What- did he pick you up while he was too drunk to realize what he'd be waking up to?"

IC (Lohkar)"Don't make me laugh, love," Lohkar replied. "If you'd had any o' my rum you'd be face-down on the deck."IC (Merror)Merror nodded his agreement."This mission just got a lot more complicated," he said.The ferry had by now passed the Le-Wahi coast, and was now moving into the Papa Nihu Reef.OOC: Astha to Onu-Wahi.

IC: Mimira - Infernavika -Mimira was curious to what rum tasted like, and why it make people act so strange. "Could...could I try some rum?"

IC: Floria"Correction: Your deck will be face down on me." She turned to Mimira. "It makes ugly people look pretty, and pretty people look like Rahi. It is the ultimate encourager for all ideas. So yeah, you should try it out. But Lohkar doesn't have any, cause I drank it all. And why does he look handsome? Hmmm....."

IC: Mimira - Infernavika -Mimira cocked her head in confusion. "How could it do that? Turn people pretty or ugly...that doesn't make any sense."

IC: Gunner - InfernavikaCrouching next to Mimira, I procured an empty bottle of rum, holding it in front of her, "Well, you see Mimi, rum makes you see things... differently. Maybe it makes you miss things that are right in front of you, or makes you see things that aren't there at all. Or it just changes the way you see things. Making any sense?"-Void

IC (Lohkar)Lohkar grinned roguishly."That ain't the rum, love..." he said.

IC: Mimira - Infernavika -Mimira nodded slowly. "I guess so..." She paused, still thinking the whole thing over. "Now I want to know what it's like."

IC: Gunner - InfernavikaI raised on eyebrow, quickly pulling the bottle away from Mimira, "No. You're too young, and I'm not taking responsibility for you trying to kiss Yasurek..."-Void

IC: Mimira - Infernavika -"Ah, pleeaazzeeeeee?" Mimira asked with the cutest voice possible. "And kiss Yasurek? Yuck!"

IC: Lasinia"Don't worry, Mimi, you just have to wait 31,449,600,000 seconds, and then you can drink it."

IC: Gunner - InfernavikaI tilted my head in Lasinia's direction, "What she said. Also, I suppose you have a point about Yasurek, but he's the only other Matoran I can think of on the spot, and seeing as anyone else could be considered inappropriate to be kissing you..."-Void

IC: Floria"You're right. It's probably the wine."

IC: Dorian (Xa-Koro)Forcing myself into a standing position, I snuck out of the room while Naara and Jin were distracted in their pre-throwdown snark off; about sixty seconds later, I was out of the hospital and at the bar of the hotel where Jin, Grokk and I had booked rooms. With a shot of bourbon in my hand and a pensive expression on my face, I had a minute to chew over everything that had happened in the last twenty four hours, how many times I'd come close to death and gotten out of it with quick wits and the helpful guidance of a hot teacher. I tossed around every mini moral epiphany and downgrade I'd been subject to since I first got back to the Islets, and that's when I realized that I was being watched.I downed the bourbon and smiled softly, seductively, before turning around and meeting the gaze of the Vortixx across the bar, watching me carefully. Just the girl I was really looking forward to come back to. She sat with all the beauty and poise that I'd come to expect from her, but raw passion - and a bit of fear - ran through her veins at the sight of me. I could smell it."Hey, Illicia. Come on over."-Teezy

IC: "I don't think you quite understand." Naara sighed again. "So I'll put it to you in simple terms: We're a couple, we don't need to get wasted to make out. All you have on that is an unrequited crush and a teenage fantasy or two. Conclusion-you have all the probability of a snowball's survival in karz to make it with anyone."

IC: IlliciaHe was back.A flood of questions raced through Illicia's mind. Where had he gone? What did it have to do with all the elegant scribblings in his diary? A little voice of reason spoke out in her mind. No, it said. Stay out of this mess. But her curiosity quelled the little voice, and, idly stabbing at the olive in her cocktail, the Vortixx kept her narrowed eyes on Dorian, expecting him to spot her sooner or later. Somehow it still surprised her when he did meet her gaze, forcing a sharp but silent intake of breath."Hey, Illicia. Come on over."In a few strides she had glided over to him (a few heads turning to stare). Gently pulling a Skakdi of earth from the stool next to him, she took a seat and gazed at him for a few hour-long seconds. "Been enjoying yourself have you?" she asked, which in other words meant 'where in the name of sanity have you been?'

IC: Dorian (Bar, Xa-Koro)"Yup. Spent some time at the beach. Picked up a replacement for Naryth. Got rid of the Mark Bearers. Had fun."I turned to look at Illicia and smiled again softly, slapping down the widgets necessary for a whole bottle of Po-Koro Straight bourbon and taking the bottle softly in one hand, caressing the neck of the bottle lightly. Illicia's eyes sang of a silent lust that still held sway over her actions, tempered with reason that tried and failed to show her the light. The Vortixx was still drawn in by me. Good. Time to test her."Why don't we continue this conversation in my room?"-Teezy

IC:"Me too," Quoribay chuckled.OOC: TOV, Nahu now can have a reason to hire us.

IC:"Tell me more about this... proposition.." Quoribay asked.

IC (Nahu):"What if I were to say that I would like some people to "go away", I would make it worth your while."

IC: IlliciaDorian's proposition was met with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. In truth, this masked the fear Illicia felt: that he knew about her, that he had killed Naryth just to prove that he could do that to her if he wanted. She weighed up her odds. Realistically there was no way she could pull off insisting on staying at the bar without giving away her hunch; if she went with him to the room, anything could happen, but there was a chance that it was nothing but a friendly chat. Perhaps very friendly."Why not?" she decided after downing whatever cocktail that pervy Matoran from earlier had bought her. "Lead the way."

IC:"I catch your Drift. What's the price, and who needs to disappear?"

IC: Dorian (Hotel, Xa-Koro)"Don't shoot me in the back or anything," I winked, pushing myself up and tossing the bottle between my hands carelessly as I led Illicia upstairs, towards my room. I'd purposely booked a room on the other end of the hallway away from Grokk, with Jin in the middle; it was our way of making sure neither of us attempted to steal the other away and float their mattresses - with them attached - out into the bay.As soon as Illicia was in the door, I set the bottle down on the table and flicked my wrist, sending a pillar of iron out from the wall and slamming the door with it. Illicia jumped, and I turned around with another wink. A band played outside, female vocals, something upbeat, poppy. Two stark eyebrows raised up onto my forehead as I popped open the bottle and took a drink before tossing it to Illicia, who stared at it for a second before smiling mischievously and taking a drink."Let's daaaance!" I cried. "C'mon, Illicia, don't look so glum. We're young; just because we're assassins doesn't mean we can't party."-Teezy

IC (Nahu):"400 widgets. It's a toa team that stole somthing valuable from me and caused a big scene in my store. They then tricked me by giving me a replica of the things they stole. They are somewhere in Onu-Wahi right now. The items are six iron axe heads, dating back to possibly thousands of years, made by skakdi. They are valuable, but not as much as 400 widgets that I will pay you AFTER the job is complete, so don't think about selling them."

IC:Quoribay grinned as Nahu mentioned 400 widgets. "M'kay, but what to these toa look like?"

IC (Nahu):One of them is a Toa of Iron with a three pronged staff, another is a Toa of Sonics with a Matatu. I forgot the rest, but they travel with a Ko-Matoran with an artifical arm. They shouldn't be too hard to find. I believe they call themselves the Maasi."

IC: IlliciaIllicia giggled and stepped forward, bottle still in hand. "Who's looking glum?" she grinned, taking another drink, then twirled and made to fall into Dorian's right arm, but stopped when she realised something. Play it safe.The Vortixx was far taller than Dorian, but went ahead and slipped the slender fingers of her left hand between his, and used the three free fingers left on her right hand (the bottle stayed) to grab his shoulder. "Ballroom," she winked, "for giggles."

IC: Dorian (Hotel, Xa-Koro)I leaned my head forward, meeting Illicia's gaze and smirking."Someone's feeling sophisticated," I growled playfully as we danced throughout the whole hotel room, the music creating a perfect backdrop for the ballroom shenanigans. Illicia giggled every now and then, and we both took shots of bourbon straight out of the bottle, until after about twenty minutes the glass was empty and we were merely slowdancing, her head on my shoulder as the music began to slow, growing mournful."Ohh, Illicia. Do you realize just how difficult of a position you've put me in?"-Teezy

IC: IlliciaThat didn't sound good. Gun? Still holstered. Check. Knife? Still holstered. Check. Illicia lifted her head a centimeter or so off of his shoulder, staring past his neck cautiously into space. "I'm not sure I do," she breathed, digging her teeth into her lip. "I'm not sure I know what you mean either."

IC: Dorian (Hotel, Xa-Koro)"The people at the casino knew who I was, Illicia," I breathed back softly into her neck, causing her to shiver slightly in both fear and excitement. "Someone told them I'd be there ahead of time. Who else could it have been?"Illicia tensed in my embrace, but I remained soft, tender, and she calmed down after a second, completely lost in my aura. When I was sure she wouldn't try anything, when she kept quiet, I continued dancing with her slowly."See, now I'm left with a problem: I don't want to kill you. Yet, at the same time, your life has become a sort of existential crisis for me. Do I let you live? Or do I kill you, to send another example to the others? Frankly, the answer's been bugging me for a few weeks now.""Dorian--" Illicia started, now suddenly more tense."There's really two ways we can go about solving this crisis, my sweet, darling, smoking hot Illicia. I want you to look me in the eyes, right now, and tell me that you're mine. Swear to me that, no matter who offers you what kind of paycheck, you'll stick with me, and Brykon, and Bad Company, and that when it comes down to it, you have my back, no matter the situation. I want your loyalty, Illicia. If you don't give it, I have no choice but to snap your neck. If you do...tonight can go an entirely different way."-Teezy

IC (Nahu):"I will come with. I want them to know who was responsible, and see their misery. I also want to make sure you get the job done right."

IC:"Deal. Let's move," Quoribay said, walking on another ferry and paying the fee, Sideways and Nahu following.OOC: Quoribay and hopefully Nahu and Sideways to Onu-Wahi.
