  • NPC: Hacker (Roof, Housing District)"I...I don't know...any--anything!" he bawled as Kal's saber simmered across his chest, burning open his flesh. Sobbing into the pavement, he spat blood, and with it, something fleshy and red: the Hacker had bit his tongue in half. IC: Esao (Shaddix Enterprises, Housing District)Suddenly, a bullet came spiraling from nowhere, finding its chartered path in the Hacker's forehead, blissfully ending his torment. If Kal and Quada looked up, they would see me tossing the sniper rifle over the edge of the building and walking into the compound itself. I had finally made up my mind.-Teezy

  • IC-Kal:"Get that thing out of my sight," Kal growled to Quada, storming over towards Esao. He was angry that Esao had ended the hacker's life; a few more minutes and Kal would have learned what he needed. But Esao had to interrupt, ruining it. Still, Kal sheathed his saber. He wouldn't attack his allies, ever.

Syran shook her head, annoyed by the twist of events, but simply crouched down behind one of the air conditioning units on the roof, and then attempted to activate her Avsa on the Toa of Fire instead, however, due to her position, and the position of people on the roof, it was rather easy to misinterpret targets, especially if someone walked in the way.

We still haven't lost, but you've certainly done similar things to what I just did. And no matter how much you try to convince yourself, she was no child." Kal looked to Krayzikk, and back to Esao."You know what? I don't care anymore. I want to get rid of the hackers now, at any cost." Before he felt the need to draw his lightsaber and kill both of the beings beside him, Kal stepped over to a dead Turaga, a civilian cut down in the line of fire."The hackers killed this elder," Kal observed, looking over tapes. "In their preliminary attack. I only wish it could have been me instead of him...but now I hardly care any more." Kal picked up the elder's half functioning mask, a damaged Kualsi. It was good for one or two teleports, possibly. Kal quickly stowed it in his pack, where it couldn't be destroyed by either Esao or Krayzikk as he stood."I've killed my brother today, and countless more. None of them are innocent. None of us are innocent...we've all lost any semblance of our childlike freedom from sin long before now, though we continue to hold to the thought that we haven't. I don't just mean us three...I mean everybody on this bloody planet. I think it's high time we realize we aren't the noble beings we think we are."

He shifted his mask to the Kualsi's for a moment, making a couple quick teleports over back to the Citadel, then discarding the now-useless, broken mask and putting his mask of time-dilation back on. He then quickly came to an elevator, ascending to Gust's level, barely noticing that Torch was there as well.

  • OOC: And so for most of my characters, this season ends. It's been fun, it's been exciting, it's been...a heck of an experience for my first time as head GM, and despite my critics (coughcoughlev<3) and detractors, I'd like to think I did a decent job. And now...enjoy these ICs for what they are.I might keep a char or two in play, but most of these guys have had a long day. No need to keep it going.IC: Airu (Citadel Hope Hospital, New Metru Nui)"Well, you all have fun with...whatever it is you're doing at this point," said the aged general, taking Ryjak gently by the shoulder and helping the injured Toa lean on him. "I have a prisoner to transport."The two walked without speaking for several minutes, travelling through elevators, tunnels, security checkpoints, and the like before finally reaching a maximum security cell. Ryjak was escorted inside and pushed into the corner, and Airu disappeared.IC: Jasik (Venus Tower, Krahzia)Meanwhile, in the Hacker leader's quarters, a shadow appeared, a wisp in the wind in the corner, and gradually shaped itself into a beautiful looking young Toa. The Toa made his way to the swivel chair in the center of the room and pressed a button in front of the cupholder. Slowly, through a screeching of static and lights, one by one, the screens that Ryjak used to monitor both New Metru Nui and Krahzia blared to life. And Jasik smiled.By this time, Airu had returned to the cell, carrying two trays of cinnamon buns and some kind of milk. Bacon had edged its way around the corner of the tray, and Airu pushed one into Ryjak's hands."Eat, kid. You need your strength."Ryjak attempted a grateful smile."Much obliged, sir..."IC: Esao (CHI HQ, New Metru Nui)"Give me a minute," I muttered, kissing Ryllia's hand. "I'll be right back..."I made my way into the CHI building and walked up to the charred and damaged Special Agent in Charge's office. Cysero was there, swiveling around in a circle, with a huge smirk on his face."Oh, sorry," he said. "I'm in your chair."I smirked and threw my badge at his head; it bounced off the agent's forehead and landed on the burnt carpet with a thud."Keep it," I muttered. "I won't be needing it anymore."Without another word, I kicked open the door to the office that I had held for a grand total of sixteen hours, and would now never hold again. Sprinting down the stairs, I turned and gave one last wink to the analysts, still hardworking as always, before walking out the door and giving Ryllia a thumbs up.Finally, my life could start again.-Teezy

He then held out his hand, burning a hole through the door with plasma, which he proceeded to climb into. He noted the scene before him, and nodded."Gust," he said. "Desdemona. The hackers are gone."IC-Hasil:Hasil watched what occured, before heading back to the Citadel, coming up to Airu. He nodded at Ryjak, not saying a word as he stood in the corner. Finally, the war was over.IC-Aclaraung:"Song," Aclaraung said, mentally and physically, "I regret to inform you that it is time for me to fly. My destiny is yet unresolved." The Dracorex quickly broke off the mental contact, before running quickly and jumping into the air, flying along. He left, back to the salty ocean he had found before. He knew that he might find kindred spirits there, though not quite the same as him.IC-Edubard:Edubard sighed, coming back to his office. He sat in his chair, setting down his various items on his desk as he leaned back. It had been a long two months, today the longest day of all the days prior he had spent on this planet. He was too old for this. He wrote one small goodbye note, before sinking into sleep. He looked forward to seeing his old friends again.IC-Praggos:Pragggos sighed, contacting Dorian. "I think we'll have to hold off on that party," he said, observing the damage that had been caused.IC-Sihkar:The Sihkar lashed out in frustration, killing the servant before him. I want to build a life with someone I love, someone that can understand the subtle nuances that define me as a person.""You want Jade."Gust looked up and cocked his head at the blue-skinned "Glatorian.""No."Present time...Gust looked up, cocking his head again; Desdemona turned as well, breaking the passionate kiss the two had been absorbed in."Well," he said, eyebrows raised. • IC: Kinksh, the Golden Hammer /// Syndicate High Command, New Metru-Nui Branch“Well, that was an enlightening discussion.” Kinksh mused sarcastically, walking around the great, single room that he had built his new, hidden headquarters out of. The unpacking robots were now sitting off in a corner, deactivated, and had finally completed the defenses within. A few hidden turrets concealed in the floor, some cameras with lasers affixed to them. The only entryway, which led into the absurdly spacious sewers under the city, was covered on both side by plasma mines. The metallic cat that he was linked to released a hollow, barely natural but still unmistakably feral growl as it climbed out from under one of the rooms many equipment covered tables and crawled over to the power outlet, where it plugged itself in for a recharge.“Bah! You never listen to me.” he accused the robot. “Not that you really have a choice to not, though, considering you’re hearing everything I’m thinking. Or whatever it is robots do, I guess.”He walked over to his massive computer set up, marveling at the dozens of smaller screens surrounding the massive, central one; easily twice as high as he was tall, and three times as wide, it was a marvelous sight, and a perfect projector for movies, he figured. But it wasn’t movies he needed to show.He activated his brain implant, and the computer eagerly – if that was the proper term to use for an emotionless device – accepted the link, connecting his desires and impulses to the displays and to the information contained within directly. As he glanced across the screen, his many whims were shown. His mind scrolled between the figures of power. He could watch in the camera as things were changing.Mandela had just given his badge up. How very interesting. That meant the CHI would be put in different hands once more, hands that were easily manipulated into doing what he wanted. He already had operatives inserted in every one of its departments, and things were moving perfectly smooth there. He watched the events currently happening across the city in dozens of cameras, watching beings passing by. He could see all of the currents events. But this, this was nothing. It was simply his interests being sated. No, the plan was finally going to begin in earnest. The screen in the center glowed red, then changed quickly to blue. Upon it was a massive space satellite, a station capable of housing dozens of soldiers and plenty of equipment upon it. Back on Spherus Magna, they had already begun the gathering of necessary parts, and soon, in the isolated deserts of this world, he would launch it into space upon it. But that wasn’t even the best part – the best part was the massive laser upon it, a drill capable of cutting through the rock of the planet like butter. Perfect to use for mining… or more military based purposes. There were many other weapons being shown. New, futuristic advances in technology that he would begin selling… and the very best, give to his own men as equipment they could use against any who dared oppose him once the mines were opened and the true trade began. It was so simple now. By the time anyone caught onto him, he would hold the necessary tools to subjugate the entire population, and already have them caught in a much more political grip. There was nobody who could stop his plans from succeeding, not now. Jikal was only beginning to become aware of what would happen. The little health insurance thing that was being put up even as he sat here by Rinnder, that was nothing. Just the beginning of what was to come. Soon the mines would be opening, offering honest pay and insurance to workers who came to him.And all of this for supplies. Supplies to trade with the homeworld, even as the workers knew nothing about it, for the food and the drink that they needed; for the resources they could not have upon this terrible world. And in due time, this world would be changed. The stone would be excavated, and replaced with earth. The earth would grow plants engineered for the climate. Turning this wasteland into something capable of providing for itself was a goal of seeming kindness, but like all things the Golden Hammer did, only something done for a profit. Nothing was or ever would be more important than the profit. All of this talk of Umbrae led to fear amongst commoners. But as Kinksh picked up a shaft of metal and watched the limbs and string form of pure energy, an arrow forming by his merely pulling back the feather light string, he knew they would be more than prepared. The Golden Hammer would not be bested by anything, not even the alien species native to the world. They were not prepared. But how could anybody be prepared for the rest of the plan?To be continued…-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

A few months back, I was being controlled by a madman, I admit; but I was released from that spell before I did any true damage... True, I might have done more damage a few millenia ago, but that wouldn't be applicable to this situation, since I've already had that handled." Blade explained, and frowned."The only people I've ever thought of killing recently, have been criminal hackers, or unauthorized Replicas." Blade said, and sighed.Who could be trying to kill me this time? They might just succeed at this rate...
IC: Belthnor:"What? Then... then I must have been decived. Who could have done this?" Belthnor asked, still tucked to the ground. While he pondered the reasons for his manipulation, he contacted his 'informant', who had obviously lied to him.

  • IC: 30-31...Surprise was her best friend.Four toa and two vortixx dropped as came to a stop. Their throats each bore the same identical smile, indicative of a slit. That left three matoran and three skakdi. The scattered Hackers were still struggling to organize, but even now vision beams flew at her. Two skakdi had turned and were firing.Mars grabbed a body from the ground. Hovering it in the air before her, she charged. The meat-shield absorbed sixteen blows in one second. The skakdi stared at their comrade in shock, at the way their body was desecrated by this monster. Then two cordak rounds met their faces. A brilliant shower of crimson arced into the air....32-33...Mars whipped about for her next target. She dropped the corpse and flew at the skakdi of Plasma. His grin morphed into a smirk. He had just finished loading a rocket launcher-he knew by now that vision and bullets were not enough to stop this one. Now he fired.BOOMIt had landed right where she was. I don't miss. That was his last thought before his chest cavity opened and blood dripped free. The Pa-Skakdi keeled over, dead....34...Mars sheathed her Izu-it would be a waste of ammo to use that against the matoran. She extended her claws instead. She had used all of her speed at the last second. Blitzing by the rocket, Mars had escaped the blast and turned up considerably closer to her foe.The 'matoran' stalked towards the group of true matoran. Their nest appeared to be a two-story home nearby. Without doubt she knew that they had been using every last second together pooling resources and planning. She leaped up to a window from others. Mars landed on its sill, peering inside. All was quiet. Then gunfire reached her ears. She skittered diagonally away and into the room, flying towards its source under a bed.She had the Onu-Matoran out in one motion. Another slammed her claws into his eyes....35...Mars tossed away the body. She moved out of the room with the same caution. She froze upon hearing heavy breathing. Then her body turned around a corner and towards its source.A bathroom, just a turn from the bedroom. An excellent hiding place. She strode towards it. A few steps, and the door was open.Mars peered in. The same silence as earlier greeted her. Then it exploded.A trap, she had thought. And a trap it indeed was.The bathroom had been picked carefully. Behind a turn, she could not move back if fire greeted her. The hall's small size took care of up-down-to the sides. The only way she could move was foward, into the hail of bullets coming from the bathtub and behind the toilet. There was no way Mars could escape. So she didn't.Bullets slammed into her chest to jet crimson. Others drilled through her abdomen, spewing bile as opposed to blood. But Mars didn't stop charging to the toilet.Pain, she had long ago learned, mattered not. What mattered was accomplishing the mission set before you.Her hand came down with a sickening crunch on the kanohi of the hidden shooter. The Ga-Matoran keeled over, her last moments wasted in the a defiant act achieving nothing....36...Mars turned. She began to stride towards the bathtub-no use wasting speed."I-I surrender!"The other gunmatoran held their hands up. Indeed, they had dropped their Izu.A scared sort of awe was upon their kanohi. She liked that.It was the kind of awe that a matoran showed to its god."Oh, do you now?"He nodded up and down rapidly. The Ta-Matoran's eyes were blinking with tears.CRACKHis head slammed into the wall with the force of her backhand. She had made sure that it was only enough strength for him to fall unconscious.Mars didn't need prisoners. Not when she had felt that yearn to dominate again; not when she knew what could be happening mere blocks away. She turned, ignoring the carnage. A window awaited. She jumped, then flew from it to land on the side of another house. Then Mars kept speeding along in the direction the call had come from. She had to get to whatever was producing that call. Prisoners could stay unconscious until needed.

  • IC: Trakuda"You're on." I grin, as rock music commences in my head, my powers and blasters flare up, and the thingies are subject to my full fury. Well, it'd be fury if I was angry, but you get the idea.

  • IC: Auress (NMN, The Citadel, Outside Hospital Room):Auress sniffed, "Now what? There's a war going on outside, or at least it used to. The Golden Hammer is gone, now what?"IC: Iruson (NMN, City Exterior):Iruson had watched the battle unfold, unimpressed. War never changed, he had lived long enough to know this. Sighing, the Giant Glatorian started to walk back towards the Techna, in the shelter he made in the ruined ship. He didn't want to be stuck here, it was the Hacker's fault in the first place. He wanted to be back home now, in the comfort of his tribe, working as a trainer. But he couldn't go back, so he continued walking. After the fall, he never felt right in either cities, so he just continued walking.IC: Watcher (NMN):The AI had withdrawn from Auress, and recombined himself into one again. He started to fiddle with coms and cameras again, helping citizens through the coms and messages, just describing himself as 'city AI'. The people would just have to guess who their mysterious helper was. Longing for someone to talk to, he sent a message to Athen, Athen... Do you ever feel... Useless?

  • IC: TorchTime: ~0915Citadel, Gust's penthouseKal fell silent. During the lull in conversation, Torch looked from Kal to Gust to Desdemona. Hadn't only half an hour passed since Gust had warned Torch of Desdemona's scheming? -- and now they had been caught kissing while in a tight embrace?"Gust," said Torch slowly, "I thought you didn't like Desdemona."
