IC: Calkf
"I suppose it's because I can only afford a simple sign outside my hut."
IC Kirgan
(Onu-Koro):
"Um, right", Kirgan said. He wasn't sure how to handle this. He could sense that the Turaga was almost welcoming pity. Kirgan had a heart for such things, but he wished people were more straightforward with him.
"Uh, I'm sure there are still some depressed people around", Kirgan said, trying to sound reassuring but knowing it sounded silly. "Probably some loonatics too. You just need to find them."
IC: Calkf
"That's harder than it sounds. Say ... could you advertise for me?"
IC Kirgan
(Onu-Koro):
"Me? Advertise? How could I do that?"
IC Hile
(Onu-Koro):
Hile walked around Onu-Koro. Not too far from the Skakdi and the Toa, though, he didn't want to lose them. But while the group was chatting about things they refused to explain, Hile felt like an outsider. He just wanted to admire the beautiful town of Onu-Koro for a while.
That was when he noticed a teal Turaga near a bridge, talking to -
"Kirgan!"
Kirgan turned to see who had shouted his name. He saw Hile already running towards him.
"Kirgan, it's been so long! How have you been?"
Kirgan held out a hand and nodded at the Turaga. Hile realized what he had done wrong: ignored a respected person.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Turaga", he said, bowing slightly.
IC: Calkf
"You don't really need to bow to me."
OOC: We're gonna start a new faction: Calkf worshippers!
IC Kirgan & Hile
(Onu-Koro):
"I'm sorry, Turaga", Hile said, quickly lifting his head. "So... what are you doing?"
"She needs to promote her therapy sessions", Kirgan explained. "You have any ideas?"
Hile thought for a while, then said: "I travel a lot around Mata Nui... there's no reason I couldn't spread the word around in other villages."
IC Zahkon
"So, now we're here, could we maybe pay a visit to your friend, little one?"
OOC: If you didn't notice, Hile is already doing just that.
IC: Calkf
"I'm a 'she'."
OOC: I was like "what, I know that already" and then checked the post... x_x
IC Kirgan & Hile
(Onu-Koro):
"I am sorry, Turaga", Kirgan said. "I am aware of your gender. I must have just mixed up my own vocabulary."
IC Zahkon
He noticed the little Matoran had slipped out of the teams view. He wispered to Kordan: "You noticed, the little guy is gone, we better search for him, before he blows our cover..."
IC: Kordan
"I do not think he will blow our cover. I trust him"
IC: Calkf
"I have done that before. When I was younger and more reckless, I believe I may have started a blood feud between a Vortixx and Skakdi clan when passing along messages."
OOC: Dual Matrix and CeeCee, your characters can still see Hile. He's just out of hearing distance.
IC Hile & Kirgan
(Onu-Koro):
"I - I", Kirgan stammered.
"I should really get back to my comrades now...", Hile said, unnerved by the cool snarkiness of the Turaga.
"Comrades?" Kirgan asked. "You're travelling with someone?"
"Aye", Hile responded. "Some Skakdi and Toa. They're looking for someone - I dunno who - and I'm just hanging along."
"Well... se you later then, I guess", Kirgan said.
"Of course", Hile said with a smile. "And while I'm travelling, I can advertise your therapy, Turaga... um sorry, what is your name?"
IC: Calkf
"Calkf," she replied. "Calkf Joai."
IC Zahkon
"But, still, we shouldn't let him wander around... Oh look, there he is, talking to... A TURAGA!"
IC Hile & Kirgan
(Onu-Koro):
"Nice to meet you", Hile said. "Now excuse me, I have to go. I will spread word of your... therapy on the way."
With that, Hile waved and returned to the others.
"Did I miss anything?" he asked.
*
"That was a quick visit", Kirgan said and sighed. "I wish I had such an eventful life. Mining is good but sometimes I wish there was something different to do for a change."
IC: Kordan
"As I have said. I trust him"
IC: Calkf
"Explore the island. That's what I did when younger."
IC Hile
(Onu-Koro):
"Huh? Trust who?" Hile asked, already suspecting the Skakdi would not tell him.
IC Kirgan
(Onu-Koro):
"I dunno", Kirgan said. "I'm loyal to Onu-Koro, madame. I stand, work and breath in the service of this great society and Akiri Nuparu. I wouldn't even think of leaving my city."
IC: Kordan
"I was talking about you, actually" Kordan smiled
IC Hile
(Onu-Koro):
Hile's eyes widened. "Oh? Me?"
Then he smiled. "Well, thanks. I'm honoured to hear that."
IC: Kordan
"Come on. We should move out. Lets try to find Vex and the insane Le-Matoran"
IC Hile
(Onu-Koro):
Hile was dumbstruck again. "An insane Le-Matoran?" He repeated, his head tilted to one side.
IC: Kordan
"I should warn you to watch your tongue around them both. I struggle to decide which one is more insane than the other"
IC Zahkon
"Yeah, has someone an idea where those could hand around, the pub maybe?"
IC: Kordan
"I know a Matoran. His name is Valuki but I do not wish to speak to him. He is a Ko-Matoran. He might know. You know him, yes Zahk?"
IC Hile
(Onu-Koro):
Hile was intrigued by the mention of a Ko-Matoran, but realized he didn't know the name. He kept silent, listening to the conversation.
IC Zahkon
"Isn't that the guy who betrayed our Team to a bunch of wanna-be heroes?"
IC: Kordan
"You two go. Him and I do not get on so well"
"
IC Zahkon
"I wouldn't trust the guy, he was the one who eventually made the end of the original six-hand possible... I'd think we'd not include him in our plans anymore..."
IC: Kordan
"While that isnt exactly true, he isnt one to keep his word, but he will tell you everything you need for a few widgets"
IC Hile
(Onu-Koro):
"Sounds... nice."
IC:"That is one word for him, yes"
IC Zahkon
"True enough, know where the guy is hanging around?"
IC: Kordan
"Where he always is. Getting drink at a bar"
IC: Calkf "Adventuring is nothing like betraying the village. It'll provide with some good life experience."
IC Hile
(Onu-Koro):
"Well, it'll be nice to go there again", Hile said. "What do you say, Zahkon? Going?"
IC Kirgan
(Onu-Koro):
"I know, but what if an alarm was signaled while I was gone?" Kirgan said. "What if they need me to serve my village just when I'm somewhere else?"
IC: Calkf "Good point."
IC Kirgan
(Onu-Koro):
Kirgan sighed. "Hile - the Matoran you just saw - doesn't have the burden of responsibility. He travels the island as a self-appointed Chronicler or something. But look where that got Takua. In Makuta's embrace. Travelling may be nice, but not always the best option."
