Techna: Breakdown

OOC: You're making me want to play Portal.IC: Savina - Testing Chamber - Wreckage of Techna Nui -Savina stared at the wall for a while, then decided to try something, it was rare when she ever used her elemental powers, but she seemed to have no choice here. She shot a blast of elemental energy, creating vines that began to grow from the ledge and spread across the chasm, creating a bridge.

IC: AMTaOS / Wreckage of Techna-NuiOnce more, another voice responded, and starting at, "3.14" a robotic voice began to give forth the value.In an almost irritated sounding tone, AMTaOS replied, over the numbers that were being spit out, "Please let me know when you are sufficiently irritated, for this thing will continue calculating indefinitely."The camera affixed to the top center of the room, which had previously remained stationary and thus unnoticed, looked down at Tain, then shifted focus back to Lekar and Savina. There it remained only for a short time before focusing solely on Savina, who was releasing her powers to create a bridge. "Ah yes. Some actual science being done."-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: VorexA mischievous grin spread across Vorex's face."If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise." The tune seemed somehow eerie.

IC: Tain"Nope, not irritated yet. You?"IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk would have scowled if he could. "Alright, that is it. Guard Skyra, Guard Zero, commence armed arrest." Krayzikk pumped his shotgun and aimed it a Vorex.

IC: Vorex"If you go down to the woods today, you'd better go in disguise." A soft glow came off the Tahk, enough to send a chill down the spine of even a robot.

-==IC: Zero==-"Understood." Zero repeated, and moved forward, his gun still raised toward the criminal, as he grabbed a pair of handcuffs from the compartment on his hip, and readied himself to arrest this criminal.

IC: AMTaOS / Testing Grounds, Wreckage of Techna-Nui"You can continue wasting time here, if you wish. But as you complete these tests, you will be furthering science, as we study your innate elemental and mask powers. And if you succeed, there will be cake" AMTaOS replied. "And I'm sure one of your companions will want cake. But the three of you must keep moving. Together. That is if you wish to reach the end."-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Tain"The cake is always a lie..." Tain muttered, as he started walking forward, noting he still had his weapons.

IC: Vorex"'Cause every bear, that ever there was;" The mask began to glow brighter, but the light still seemed dim, and off; "Is gathered there, together, because..."

IC: AMTaOS / Testing Grounds, Wreckage of Techna-Nui"Grief counseling was previously available, but our grief councilors are all dead. Please do no grieve over their deaths. They cannot help you deal with it, and you are better for testing while psychologically intact."-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Skyra - New Metru Nui -Skyra kept his Skyblasters pointed at Vorex. "Will you just shut up!?" Skyra waited for Zero to handcuff the baka. IC: Savina - Testing Chamber - Wreckage of Techna Nui -Savina finished her bridge, and then began to walk across it, being a cat, she had no real fear of how far she would fall if her bridge were to suddenly collapse.

IC: Vorex"Today's the day the teddy bears have their pic-nic." The Tahk suddenly activated, and in the mind of each of the perceivers, Vorex became their own worst fear.

-==IC: Zero==-Zero simply kept walking forward, and attempted to grab Vorex's first arm with his free hand."Deactivate the mask and don't move, criminal." Zero stated. For what he feared the most, criminals, was actually what was right in front of him."Permission to shoot if he doesn't comply, sir?"

IC: Skyra - New Metru Nui -Skyra saw something....horrible....It was an open stasis pod, beckoning him to enter and go into stasis for another 700 years. This did not fly with Skyra what-so-ever, "NEVER!" He shouted, he began to shoot his Skyblasters at Vorex rapidly.

OOC: Technically, he would see whatever image caame immediately to mind when he thought of criminals.IC: VorexStrangely, Vorex's arm seemed to slide through Zero's grip. It was near-impossible to get a grip on it. Vorex continued to hum, what would otherwise be a happy tune sounding slow and creepy.

IC: AMTaOS / Testing Area, Wreckage of Techna-NuiNothing interfered with Savina's travel over the bridge. The only danger was the mixture of fluids below - if one fell into that, it would undoubtedly result in nothing good.-Toa Levacius Zehvor

OOC: Well, he does technically have a one-track mind when it comes to that, especially when they were right in front of him. =P-==IC: Zero==-Zero narrowed his eyes, and attempted to grab him again.

IC: VorexSkyra's perception was altered enough that the shots missed, as the thing he was firing at was non-existent, and no part of Vorex lined up with the shots.

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk stared, and saw the same scene as the night he died. He could see the ambush, see the bullets... But Vorex didn't count on one thing. There were two 'minds' inside Krayzikk's body. And since Athen didn't have time to snap Krayzikk out of it, she did the only other thing she could.Krayzikk's optics glowed pink, and a feminine voice spoke. "I am assuming direct control." She, for it was Athen in control, activated the riot shield in her left arm and blocked Skyra's shots. "Guard Zero, proceed with the arrest. Guard Skyra, stand down."IC: TainTain got around the first obstacle the same way as Savina, except with a bridge of iron.

IC: Skyra - New Metru Nui -The voice snapped Skyra out of the nightmare for a moment, he stopped firing, but Skyra looked really shaken up. "D-don't let them put me back in that pod....they can't make me!" He sounded paniced, he was still holding onto his Midak Skyblaster's tightly.

IC: AMTaOS / Testing Area, Wreckage of Techna-NuiAs the two made it near the buttons showing the stationary Matoran, the two respective to where they were located instead showed a running Toa wearing a Kakaka. The spherical door seemed to pull aside just a little bit, but they would need their third person to go through...OOC: The first test. Lame, I know. IC: Ezraftin / Coming Upon New-Metru NuiEzraftin sighed with relief as he finally came within sight of the city again.-Toa Levacius Zehvor

IC: Athen"Get a hold of yourself, Guard. There is no pod." Athen replied, even as she switched to thermal imaging. It was harder to fool than a camera.

-==IC: Zero==-"Working on it." Zero stated, as he thought."Can you see this criminal? if so, tell me when I'm getting close to grabbing him." Zero said, as he attempted to grab the criminal's arm once more.

OOC: Well, since this seems to be where all the action is...IC: Emma - Wherever Vorex and the others are"Well, well, well, look what the Muaka dragged in."If anyone would look behind the row of guards, they would see a grinning blue-grey Toa, sword held at her hip, staring at the group."Oh no, don't let me intrude. I'm just an observer," she said, smiling.-Void

IC: Athen"Hello, Emma." Athen commented. "Zero, a little toward your left." Athen fired her shotgun at Vorex.

-==IC: Zero==-Zero nodded, and attempted to grab Vorex quickly, while that was still the case."Emma." Zero nodded, acknowledging her presence. Of course, Kairan was still unconscious on the ground, but...

IC: EmmaEmma cocked her head, "Good to see you too."Without another word, she drew two daggers, hurling them at Vorex.-Void

IC: VorexVorex did nothing to resist his arrest. In fact, he even deactivated the Tahk to make it easier. "You don't know... but we know. We know so much more than you. We hear them. We can hear the whispers."Almost on cue, a chill breeze whistled past.

IC: Athen"And I wish you'd whisper. You'd be so much more tolerable." Athen commented. "Zero, escort him to confinement. I'll follow in a few minutes."

IC: Lekar (Testing chamber)Lekar groaned. "Where am I?" Getting up form his position of lieing on the ground, he saw Tain and Savina. "Guys, what happened? Did those bugs take us here?"Zakaro

OOC: Has she not noticed Kairan laying on the ground, unconscious, or what? =P-==IC: Kairan//New Metru Nui==-Kairan groaned, but was still more or less unconscious. He slowly opened his eyes, and blinked, but closed them, as if it was just a dream; as he couldn't see anything, as if he were in stasis. Of course, it didn't help that the mask was disabled a moment later.OOC: You know, I think Kairan and Skyra have similar fears, to be honest. =P In a way, though.-==IC: Zero==-"Roger that." Zero said, as he handcuffed the second pair of hands, just to be safe, and began to escort the criminal to the jail.

IC: Vorex"The Storm... the Storm is coming... hide away... save yourselves... this is what the whispers tell me. The whispers do not speak to you. I wonder why?"

IC: Elirak (Unknown location inside the crashed Techna Nui)I opened my eyes, which was odd to begin with. The fact that I didn't see grey metal walls was even stranger, but it wasn't much of an improevment, as I couldn't see anything at all. Wasn't I just...? The Techna got me... And I was in a cell... Where am I now...?That's a hard question to answer when there's nothing but darkness surrounding you. I sat up, a thick layer of dust that once covered my body drifted away. I was almost positive that I wasn't in my cell anymore. The twisted metal and wires supported my theory. I stood up, my joints clicking from disuse. The first thing I noticed was my head hitting a beam above me. Great way to start your day: hitting you head on something. Atleast I thought it was day, I hoped it was day. Walking wasn't the easiest thing, but I managed, and felt around the area.I seemed to be in some sort of room. A destroyed room at that. Perhaps there was...? There, I thought, picking up a small metalic object.A flashlight. I flicked it on, and was blinded by the suddenly light that filled the area. What in the name of? I thought, as my vision began to return.I was in a room, about ten bio across and twenty long. And I knew what room it was. I'm still in the police HQ, I thought, dumbfounded, What the Karz happened here?OOC: Anyone still on the Techna Nui care to find him?

IC (New Metru-Nui): Solia ahemed, at Incommodo's silence. Perhaps he hadn't heard Jikal speak.

IC: Incommodo"I am perfectly fine. And sane." Incommodo said. "What was I about to do... oh yeah! I was stalking Jikal, and arguing with Righty and Lefty, and then I was going to go to what remains of the Toa Techna and become an official detective. I like that plan. It's a good plan."

IC: Jikal"Inc, I think you need some help." Jikal said seriously. "You aren't well."

IC: Incommodo"I am perfectly fine. The unicorn told me so." Incommodo argued.

IC: "I agree with this guy." she gestured to Jikal, "Perhaps we should come along and help you out, seeing as... Nevermind." Solia chipped in, cutting off the words 'you're a bit crazy' from the end to avoid unnecessary tension.

IC: Jikal"Okay." Jikal said slowly. "Inc, we're gonna take you to see the wizard, okay?"

IC: Gust (The Citadel, New Metru Nui)Water.Resources were low in New Metru Nui: they had just enough to survive off of and not much more. If they could find a new source of water and secure it before the Hackers did..."Can you lead a team there?"-Teezy
