  • IC - Raehn - Onu-Koro, Bar: Raehn resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Of course, a group of Toa seeking to make a profit-based team wouldn't see the issue that she had with breaking the code. Despite her way of operating, she had never actually killed a being before, only using her abilities to subdue them and to allow the authorities to take care of them -- similar to how Toa Kopaka had gone about things during his time, she thought.Still, as bad as he had been, Decaia hadn't deserved to die the way he did; she couldn't forgive herself for that. Not that these three seemed to want to accept that..."How about this," she offered. "We'll have a competition, your choice of rules and task. You beat me, I'll join you."

  • IC: Reichenbach"Good." Reichenbach said, the grin still on his face. But his eyes showed none of this glee; They were deep and empty, like bottomless pits leading into the space where his soul should have been. They were the eyes of someone who was tired of this world; Someone who wanted to move on, but was staying just in case there was more to do than they thought. Like a great musician, he couldn't leave his piece unfinished.

  • IC: DurimThis was an opportunity he could use, if he could twist it around to his favor. He was rather good at that, he just had to think up a challenge with which he could prove himself superior."I don't suppose a challenge of seeing how long either of us survive working on the Toa team would work, as that would be cheating on my part..." He took another sip of his drink, trying to think up an idea. Maybe one of the others could think up something, but he was certain he might be able to do a better challenge."Perhaps a race would be a reasonable challenge to settle this matter?" He was already thinking up a way to cheat.

"there, and returning. First one to do so is the winner. Does that sound reasonable to you?" He asked calmly. His mind already had his way of cheating planned out.

  • IC: Zarrus could take no more. He crawled over to the food basket and ate some more bread, more than last time. He hoped the poison would take time to take effect, so that there was a slim chance someone could still save him. He looked over at the corpse of Traxin, and a Toa of Fire, whom he did not recognise.Zarrus leaned his head against the wall. How stupid he had been, thinking that there was hope. How foolish he was to think that a better life lay off-island. All beings were destined to die, just some more dignified than others. The Matoran felt cold and alone, and began to sob quietly. No one would ever hear him.

But according to what I know, Nex didn't. Therefore, he must have been in Thedar's hut at some point without my knowledge. He wouldn't want to be seen commiting the murders. Is he sending others to do it for him?Incommodo picked up the body at the door. But Incommodo is, apparently, dead. Possibilities: Incommodo reanimated using a Tryna. Unlikely.Thedar trying to trick Nex? Likely. But why?Thedar begins investigating Nex. Nex finds out. Nex goes to Thedar's house, and makes an attempt on his life. Attempt fails. Thedar allows Nex to go, before making fake funeral to draw him in and catch him. Conclusion: I have a funeral to go to...But not now. Reichenbach would need more than just allies: He would need minions...And he knew of a good one in Ta-Koro.Reichenbach set off towards the highway.OOC: Reichenbach to Ta-Wahi.

  • IC - Raehn - Onu-Koro: Raehn moved toward a nearby building, and then summoned a pillar of metal to bring herself to its roof. Noting how slowly the other Toa was moving, she raised an eyebrow. The Toa of Iron kept slightly ahead of him as she moved from roof to roof, keeping an eye on him with the scope on her mask. You don't move that slowly in a race unless you know you're going to win, she thought. Perhaps he's wearing a Kakama or a Kualsi... I'll just have to wait and see.

  • IC: DurimIndeed he had not mentioned limiting the use of elemental powers or masks, but if it caused confusion, it was well worth saying. Only it hadn't seemed to work. But his plan was in place, and he already was setting up his victory speech."You may wish to increase yout speed, for you've already lost this race."IC: ChronnI stood by, watching as the Funeral began. I worked to pull the empty coffin out into the street, not really caring how beat up it got. Arkrak was supposed to be doing this stuff, not myself. I was the boss, I ordered him what to do, I didn't have to do the work.IC: TuataraHe struggled against his sand prison, hissing and snarling like a savage Rahi. He wanted out of this prison of sand. It was a cage, a torture upon the being who lived free. He hated this as greatly as he hated the Matoran. He would get out, and he would kill at least one of the four beings around him."Let me go... now..." He hissed silently.IC: Garme"What is that thing, it looks like a mutant frog or something..."She commented, looking at the strange creature in the corner of the room."And how did it get in here?"

He maintained extreme concentration on his Arthron, tracking every mote of dust in the air in front of him, gathering any metal dust into a small bar he was forming in his hand.He stepped into his forge, a rather large bar now in his hand, and he stowed it down. He then took a blade he had been working on, reheated it, and then applied a clay coating to the back of it in his signature pattern, so that everybody would be able to tell that this was his Katana. He quenched the weapon, and went to work on a small dirk on the table.OOC: I'm open for business, gentleman.

  • OOC: Sorry for not posting as Kohra for a few days, I had to clear some things before that, but Nuju's given me permission to move ahead, under some conditions, so back to doing evil Vortixx stuff!IC:Whil Clo'on was out, fighting the good fight, the Vortixx was still in her room in the inn. She did not know where her Toa companion was, nor did she care much at the moment. She had more important things to worry about. Her meditations, during which she talked to the dark guardian, had finally shown her what needed to be done to further weaken the three virtues. Her mission in Po-Koro couldn't have gone better. It had caused enough trouble to worry the Matoran and make them uncertain. And uncertainty was a good ground to sow mistrust upon.Kohra had emptied the contents of the bags on the carpet and was studying them carefully now. What her contact had provided her with were several scrolls of parchment, large in dimensions and showing signs of use.On them, lines wound their way across, forming several maps. Combined, they were a set of mining-plans the Onu-Koronans used for their work in the great mine, distributing the workers. It showed where the most Matoran were working and which tunnels were almost abandoned. It showed the shafts that were suspected to be richest in valuables and those considered dead ends. And it showed the shafts that had been closed because of dangers. A smile began to tug at Kohra's mouth. The first step had been made. Clo'on had complicated things, but if he was occupied elsewhere for now, all the better. She needed to procure one more thing before she could make final preparations. But she was sure that she would find what she needed on the markets...Satisfied with the previous days work, the Vortixx stowed the mine-plans away with their bags. She did not feel like sleeping. Not now, anyway. She would get a good rest when she got back from her next shopping trip. Unlocking the door to her room, she stepped outside into the corridor, before carefully re-locking it. This time, the Vortixx left the inn through the front-door and stepped back out into the streets of Onu-Koro.

  • IC: Twitch & Rasp, Onu-Koro The wall of stone surged foward, but never meet it's target. The target in question had already activated his kakama, and manuvered around to the right of Clo'on, where he focused on the toa of stone, raising the heat around him to a unbearable 200 F.Meanwhile, Rasp nimbly backflipped away from the heat, waiting for Clo'on to attempt a escape, giving him a chance to attack.

  • IC: Clo'on tapped into the powers of a Frost Leech, and just absorbed all the heat around him. He created small pebbles on the ground, like gravel, made of smooth stone. Covering the floor, they'd trip Twitch if he tried running at super-speed again. He'd discover just how hard you could hit the ground when moving at the pace of a Kakama. To distract Twitch from this, and indeed to try and trick him into using his Kakama, he sent another wall of stone at the Toa

  • IC: Rasp had apparently forgotten about the stalagmites rising from the ground Clo'on had created to guard against such a attack at his back. Which was odd because they were quite clearly visible. The Matoran wouldn't have a chance to get near him without impaling himself. Even in running towards Clo'on he was going to run his own feet through on some of the smaller ones.Clo'on knew Ta-Toa were highly resistant to heat, but he also knew that resistance had its limits. And he was pretty sure lava crossed those limits. And in superheating the rock wall Twitch had just let himself be slathered in the stuff. After all, rock didn't just go away if you melted it. All Clo'on had to do was wait. If Twitch did nothing about the lava he'd be crippled by the burns. If he drained all the heat out the lava, he'd turn it back to rock. And it was a bad idea to cover yourself in rock when fighting a Toa of stone
