He trudged towards Le-Koro, and soon reached the cluster of treehouses. He turned to find the Turaga's hut.JL: There. Up that tree is the Turaga's hut.

  • IC: Pordal, Yerith, Nik-Kolii, Yu'rekPordal continued to rub his mask. At least no one had noticed the damage that Skakdi commando had done to the village... That punch really hurt."So what are we going to do about this?" he asked the group. "Mekrof obviously knows where we are."Yerith looked up to the sky. For the first time in his life, he had no battle plan and no way to improvise. They were stuck."I can't help you there, son," he sighed."Maybe we should just surrender," Nik-Kolii suggested, sitting down. "We don't stand much of a chance.""For years, this Toa was in charge of a three-man team that toppled entire governments!" Pordal yelled, pointing to Yerith. "Then we lost a war we won and he wound up in a prison because he got left behind. The line of command turned to me! And became one of the best Toa heroes in the world because I thought that he was dead! I went on solo missions to destroy armies. There's no way in Karzahni we're giving up against one Skakdi!""This is Mekrof we're talking about," Yu'rek pointed out. "He's much more powerful than you'd think.""Have you forgotten, like the rest of the world," Yerith asked, "that all it takes to change the course of history in the Matoran Universe is a single man? And that man is the Skakdi Mekrof. He's taken over his region of Zakaz, and Mata Nui knows what he'll do next! He's a ruthless warlord, son. But I never said we're going to give up."Pordal smiled. It seemed that his old friend and captain was still ready to do the impossible."So let's do somethin' about this, then," he said, pulling out his knives.

  • OOC: *takes out red pen*NPC Mystix "soldiers" ... *marks*A magnetized nonmetal (no character here is powerful enough to magnetize a nonmetal)... *marks*Trying to magnetize something to a ground that's over a hundred bios away (no character is powerful enough for that either). *marks*Walking into the most guarded individual in Le-Koro's hut unconfronted... *marks*Very poor defense of actions against a village and its protectors ... *marks*Poor attention to detail ... *marks*Alright! Final grade is... um...I'll see you all next semester! :biggrin:Fortunately for Pirok, Laz lives to fight another day... this time. As for the rest of you? Chill...IC: Matau simply stood there, not in shock, but in awe. This Mystix, part of a group all over the news for invading Xa-Koro, came here, murdered (or attempted to murder) several Gukko Force cadets, forced entry into the Turaga's hut, threatened the guards in his way with their lives, and above all of this, denied any wrong quarrel! It was like claiming you didn't shoot the deputy, hiding the fact that you did shoot the sheriff, all while pointing the gun used to kill both at the accuser. All in self-defense. Of course. And to this, Matau simply laughed. It started as a chuckle, and a the few vinesmen inside began to chuckle with the Turaga. The chuckle elevated until the hut was nearly shaking with loud, boisterous laugher. Those who weren't laughing began to feel a bit uncomfortable at the mood dissonance inside this hut."Hahaha!" laughed Matau, "What a laugh-funny joke! Hahaha hehehehe hahaha!"Finally, the laughing began to die down and a few seconds later, Matau spoke."Mystix, there is no-nothing you can talk-say that will forgive-excuse your dark-bad actions. Noble-bright men and birds died today because of your gang-group. If what you show-displayed is your natural response to dark-danger, than there is no solace-place for you in this tree-bright village, region, or island," Matau said, "I do not have the jurisdiction to force-banish you from Mata Nui, but I can do this!"Ignotus instantly found himself without a floor board to stand on, and was now falling through the hut. Those who had their weapons aimed at him jumped back, not wanting to share the Mystix's fate. The Mystix fell into a net, and then like a slingshot, was sent across a chasm. He flew a short distance and then landed in a bucket, and then was catapulted into the air, right into the path of a squadron of vinesmen, ready and willing to deliver a well-thrown disk to the Mystix's face. The trap happened so quickly and so out of nowhere that Ignotus lost his bearings, and couldn't recover fast enough to dodge the incoming disk, which swiftly took away most of his consciousness (and probably some of his teeth, too). Ignotus fell to the ground and rolled to the center of the Le-Koro Square, where he was apprehended by one of the Gukko Force captains (this one riding a Nui Kopen). Within a moment, a groggy Ignotus was being held in the air by a Nui Kopen, grabbing the Mystix by its feet. Four other Gukko and Kahu riders were flying around the captured Mystix, ready to knock him out cold with their disks if he tried anything. After a moment, Turaga Matau himself could be seen walking out of his hut, to the Le-Koro Square. He stopped a few bios in front of Ignotus and spoke."So, what is your proposition? Or was kill-death and sad-destruction all you had to give-offer in the name of sky-peace?" asked Matau. OOC: The Mystix haven't been banished from Le-Wahi yet, so I made an edit.Another edit to clarify that more than one person was at fault. ;)

Emzee, you are awesome.IC: [Darylhii]Darylhii smiled as he watched the proceedings from his place on the stolen Gukko that was slowly hovering above the village. It seemed as if the invasion was a complete failure. He didn't know what had actually happened inside Matau's hut, but he had assumed that the Turaga had probably defeated the leader of the bat-men rather easily. All in the day's work for the Le-Koronans it seemed.

  • OOC: Honestly I do have to agree Laz could have made it out alive.

"I think he's paste Tawk." Kylina announced seeing the Mystix make no attempt to save himself as the falling crystal wall with the Mystix trapped under it vanished under the canopy.

Apparently nobody caught this as now I am bound to point it out. As a fan of the classics, Villains Law dictates that "When the body is not found/recovered, the villain returns. Every time."We made no attempt to search for a body therefore it can be assumed that Laz MAY have survived. You'd paid attention to detail you would have spotted that. ;)IC: The twins looked at each other bewildered as Xaiver watched slack jawed at Matau's devious trap. All three burst out laughing at the Mystix's fate as Matau walked out of the hut like nothing had happened and started berating the Mystix."Dude!""Matau is-""-A beast!" Tawk and Mawl chorused."I knew I moved to Le-Koro for a reason." Xavier grinned watching the scene unfold.-------Kylina just stared in amazement as she walked out of the hut. "So THAT's why he didn't have any guards." She grinned. "Gotta hand it to Matau. He knows how to keep 'em guessing! Well seeing as how our job is done, I'll just leave this to you oh-so-capable regulars." Sheathing her dagger she paced down the platform giving a shrill whistle signaling for the Irregulars to dismount. The rest of the force could mop up this affair.

Thankfully, he'd managed to distract the Mystix long enough from the trapdoor beneath him (which he might otherwise have anticipated or noticed); poking holes in a being's argument was a sure-fire way to keep his attention on you. He walked outside with the others, to look at the Mystix leader, now dangling upside down."Hmm-hm," he cleared his throat as Kylina signalled the other Irregulars to dismount and said their work was done. She would have thought that the attackers would be harder to bring down, given their apparent extreme confidence in their own abilities. For who else would try to take over a village with such few troops?Somewhat disappointed, Naru sheathed her daggers and dismissed the plasma energy she had been charging up. She caught herself wondering where she could be more useful, as Le-Koro obviously had their defense in order. She decided to take a trip to Ko-Koro after all, and see if she could catch up with the "bell crew" there. If not, then at least it was a change of scenery.Hitching a ride from one of the Gukko riders that was not in the defense force, Naru soon found herself soaring through the sky on the back of one of the bird Rahi. On the way, she realized two things: One, she didn't like heights without a Miru handy, and two, she didn't like cold. Her lack of foresight struck again.OOC: Naru to Ko-Wahi.

"This is perfect!" He called out to the rest of the squad. Seeing as he didn't need the sheild anymore he melted it down to form an anvil. He then began to work on the dagger with the rest of it. "I'm going to need your gauntlet so I can attach it onto there!" He called over to Madrihk.

  • IC (Madrihk):"Hm. Just as well," Madrihk said, as he pried off the metal armor on he lower left arm and handed it to the blacksmith. "It's damaged from my last fight, by the way. The hole in the middle of it is obvious, I guess, but I'm not sure about the rest of it. It might have been weakened from the blow. It surely is dented."While his gauntlet was off, he took the time to inspect the organic parts of his arm. It appeared to have healed well. Without the metal casing, however, Madrihk felt vulnerable. It was silly, really, for he knew that even fully organic parts were durable enough, as evident by his damaged muscle still functioning. And yet... organic parts were so... fragile.

  • IC: Ackune"Well I'll see if I can fix that as well." He then began to heat and fold the metal untill he had it shaped roughly like a dagger. He then sharpened it and cut the holes out of it with a thin stream of fire. He then cut two pin holes near the base. of the dagger. Using the scraps he made two flat connector peices with a hole on each end. With these he fitted them onto the two holes that he made earlier on the dagger. Going to work on the gauntlet he mended the hole and checked the structural intergity of the rest of it. Finding that it was perfect he then wnet to work making a ridge on the gauntlet to connect the blade to. Once it was done it looked (sort of) like this:"Here you go." He said, handing him back his gauntlet. "It should lock back into position. Flick your wrist to deploy it."6647653945_51759e747c_m.jpg
