  • IC - Veira - Flash-Freeze SuitesVeira had only stood there while Jasik gave directions. She hadn't said anything. She had hardly acknowledged Sumiki or Cantai. Emotionless. Almost like Kristen Stewart. She snapped back to reality upon realizing she must've been experiencing some form of post-traumatic shock. Possibly (read: probably) linked to the injuries sustained in combat against the Rahkshi."As you've probably deduced from my friend's introduction, my name is Veira. I didn't catch your name." she said, guessing Jasik had introduced them. Of course, in her daydreaming state she hadn't really paid attention to what he had said.

  • OOC: Well, the biggest reason he doesn't use a sword was because he decided to focus entirely on using his element alone, something that really...hasn't worked out for him lately...XD I'm assuming there still Toa in this flash back. IC: Wraith - Spirit Form - Mind Trap -Wraith eyed the sword, it was an almost completely transparent, a perfect sword for a Toa of Ice. "Wow, it's...perfect. Thanks Vern."

  • IC: JothamJotham sighed. He suddenly realized that he was cold - very cold. Until now, he had been lost in his thoughts, oblivious to how uncomfortable he was. It was then that he realized that he could see nothing - a few snowflakes whirling in front of his eyes, maybe, but beyond that, the world was an endless grey expanse. For a moment, Jotham panicked. But then he felt the rock beneath his feet - yes. Rock was solid, reliable, trustworthy. It would lead him where he needed to go.Which was not the academy. There was nothing for him there, he was now certain. If there was anything to learn in this region of endless ice, it was deeper in, nearer to the heart of the island. Where those fools would never dare to go. Letting go of his sword - which remained in its position, balancing upon its point - Jotham extended his arms, stretching. The stone beneath him seemed to stretch as well, and when Jotham shook himself, the stone also vibrated, shaking off much of the snow that had accumulated. In a single motion, Jotham picked up his blade, returned it to its scabbard, and set off deeper into the unfathomable expanse of the Wahi.

  • OOC: Time to break out the new char!:DIC: Cikren (Ko-Wahi drifts)The Toa of Ice wandered through the expanse of snow and cold. She would occasionally fire a beam of ice into the air, freeze it, and watch it come crashing down into the snow. Being a native to the Wahi, she wasn't uncomfortable in the bellow freezing temperatures, she actually prefered it to the warmer regions of the island. Cikren normally came here to pass the time. Today was no different. Except the fact that she was bored.Along with a lot of other things, the blue armored Toa hated be bored.Credit to her elemental power, she was striding through the snow and ice when she felt something. Something underneath her feet. It felt like the ground was vibrating....? What in Mata-Nui's name? she thought. But there, up ahead, she saw a Toa of Stone. The being seemed a bit lost, not something surprizing in the Drifts."Are you lost?" she asked the Toa, who was currently turned away from her.OOC: Imma interacting with you, Balta. ;)

Just my two cents.IC: Tails"No problem man, but how many times to I have tell you to not call me Vern." The Toa replied jokingly,"anyhow, how's that plan for those Patrols coming along. Finalized your route yet?"

  • OOC:

IC - Sucogu - SparringSucogu lifted his foot, remembering the time when he'd been attacked from muggers. A rope had been spun around his leg, and a similar technique had been used. Interestingly, the toa had attempted to use a mask of teleportation, and things hadn't worked out for him. The rope had sort've rearranged itself, the knot fashioning around his neck, and...Anyways, he had been going to use a move he thought would now. He lifted the rest of that leg, and twirled it to untangle the chain. Hau would run wildly and likely run into a bank of snow. However, he didn't let that happen. He grabbed hold of the hook and blitzed it back. The small toa would have no choice but to stop short and fly back at Sucogu and a waiting kick.

Fyi, there aren't many banks. It's relatively warm in The School's vicinity-probably only a little snow on the ground most of the year.On another note: I'm considering Naara leaving the school to become a 'wandering warrior'. Just wanted to warn Ihr.IC: Hau whipped around, feet slamming up a plume of snow. He blitzed back towards Sucogu. His quick senses had felt the chain fly off. They'd found its hook flying at his own back. And they had also caught Sucogu's tell-tale readying for a kick; the distinct step back and drawing up of one leg. Why, then, was he heading back into the trap he knew was present?Simple.Hau couldn't block. He had no hope of guarding his body against such a blow while attacking. He couldn't punch a weak spot and save his arm; he couldn't block the strike and strike another. That simplicity lurked in the shadows as he twisted towards the kick. It unfurled its wings as he drew up a right half-knuckle fist and glided it along the leg in a deflection. And the simple in Hau finally soared as his fist flew towards Sucogu's groin. He could do one better.Attack and defense in one movement. A pharmakon-a poison that saved. A prophylaxis preventing life itself as well as harm. That was Hau's specialty. And it shone through as his left hand casually caught the hook while his right deflected in its own blow.

  • IC: JothamJotham turned casually toward Criken, as though entirely unstartled by her sudden approach. "Not exactly," came the reply. He did not elaborate, instead taking the time to quickly size up the new approach. Toa. Ice, probably. Mask...? Hm. Purpose for being in this Mata Nui-forsaken wilderness? Karz if I know. He studied the Toa. Not an enemy, at least.

  • IC: Cikren (Ko-Wahi drifts)"Good," she stated simply. The Toa of Ice turned and continued onto Ko-Koro. If the Toa wasn't lost like he said, then he will be fine, she thought, if he is, then he will follow. Unless he is stubborn, or just stupid.Still, it didn't hurt to help. So Cikren willed the blizzard away, clearing the area around the Toa of Stone.

  • IC: JothamJotham was not surprised in the slightest when the Ko-Toa walked off. Sighing, he turned off in the opposite direction and again continued on his way through the blizzard-But it was not a blizzard, not anymore. Jotham turned back to the rapidly receding figure of the Ko-Toa. She did not look back, but her arm was raised, and, as she lowered it, the storm vanished entirely, replaced only by a light snowfall. Jotham nodded in her direction, taking careful note of the Toa's appearance. If he ever saw her again, he would be sure to repay her for this kindness, which, though seemingly insignificant, was far more than he'd experienced from any of the other natives to this icy wilderness.Sighing again, Jotham strode off deeper into the Drifts.

IC (Weta): Weta quietly slipped out of the witch's house, leaving them to their own little catch-up session. So as not to appear rude, he used his mask to create an illusion of himself, which would stay and drink tea, before slowly fading into nothing.Out in the snow, Weta found no sign of where Wraith had gone; the storm had obsured all tracks. So with no idea of which direction he should take, he struck out through the drifts towards Ko-koro. As he came over a ridge into a snow-filled valley, he saw a Matoran and toa up ahead. He made his way towards them.

He liked it here, but the cold always got to him worse than it did anybody else. Probably his being weaker than the average Turaga contributed to that.He noticed the Ko-Koro walls, and stopped for a moment, relieved. He then continued up, still limping slightly. He walked over to a silent guard. "Will you show me the way to Turaga Nuju?" He asked, and the guard nodded politely and lead him to the Turaga's abode. When they were there, Kaylov said "Thank you," and handed the guard a few widgets.
