To demonstrate she made the snow flash different colors before it went back to being white. "...confuse the people I'm fighting, cause mischief...or annoy my sister with." She then shape-shifted to look like Sythrih, and then went back to looking like Laryn.

  • IC: Draeverian Joskiir*crunch. Crunch. CRUNCH. Crunch..*Draeverian moved through the snow with practiced expertise. Having spent most of his life on the quietly whistling slopes, moving through an unseen flurry was a cinch. The direction of ko-koro was obvious: Head east. The only question sometimes was which exact direction east was. Draeverian always assumed "east" meant "more noise" and so he went east, following the trail of tiny gurgles -- toa playing? -- far in the distance. Do you think Graft will be sitting in our house getting a good laugh?Like I know, but probably.A satanic grin spread across Draeverian's face. Then I think it's time we give him a little visit. A cold feminine laugh was Rivet's response. The two moved on, overcoming the snowscape through sheer practice. Each drift had a unique sound, and Draeverian could easily mull them all out and focus on the sounds from the city he grew ever closer to. Even as Draeverian passed the sounds of three toa talking and tossing in the snow -- something about an assassin who thought she was playing a kids' game -- his mind focused completely on the subtle hum of the scholars around the wall of prophecy in the the sanctum, the scraping sound of metal boots on ice-made bridges, the continued crunch of the matoran and toa who dwelled inside. Inside the gate, Draeverian could move almost twice as fast, his body having healed to nearly the strength he'd been thrown off a cliffside into Le-wahi with almost four months ago. Amazing, nothing's changed. Not that I'm surprised though. Draeverian thought to Rivet.Like the snowmen would decide to reconstruct a bridge in such a short time, Rivet joked back. They're too busy worrying about when the world will thaw. Rivet swun loosely in his right hand, acting as a channel for his powers of sound. The steps that had caused Draeverian a bit of trouble a few months prior were now leapt over in a single bound. Reaching the central hub of ladders, bridges, huts, and merchants selling snow cones flavored with berry juices, Draeverian cocked his head and listened. No one noticed the silver and purple toa's return -- more likely they never noticed his departure to begin with. Where is he? "-4 widgets for the bushel of berries""Look, I'll give you the key, just don't break it""-op moving so fast! I can't keep up!""-ake these tablets. No! Don't set them-""Can I have a second ple-""Stop, that hurts!""... TAG!""Just hold on, I'll get you your cone soon Vel-""Sheesh, why doesn't my key work? Weird, it-""Tell me a story, Nuju!""All week. What's up--?"Gotcha! Rivet, let's give that piraka a nose job! Draeverian sprinted straight towards a place he knew too well: home. A flurry of freshly fallen snow flew up around his ankles as he ran, the flakes occasionally landing on his arms or thighs and melting into small strips of water that sped away from his direction of motion. Skidding around the corner, Draeverian almost lost his balance as he came into sonar view of his front door. A boulder of a toa stood hunched over the lock, attempting to mash the miniscule key held in his beefy hand into the jammed lock. "Long time no see," Draeverian called out, his body hanging slightly to the left as Rivet counterbalanced in his right hand. Smiling he waited for a response. It came quickly, in a tiny, frightened and somewhat porkish voice. "Draeverian?! Haha... I thought you were dead." "Oh, really? Well, I almost was. Twice."Graft scratched his earthen belly and belched. The stench of alcohol consumed the viable breathing space between the two. Draeverian wrinkled his nose, but otherwise remained static. Nothing happened for what felt like eternity in the slowly drifting snow. A breath. Finally, Draeverian thought. "Look, about your house," Graft muttered, postulating madly for some sane excuse, "It was a bet and you lost. So, it's not your house anymore."Draeverian took a step forwards. He felt as if he could physically touch Graft's racing heartbeat, the sound creating its own sonar against Draeverian's world of concentric rings and sound waves. "Is that so...""Yeah, so, so scram." "Scram?" Draeverian laughed, taking another step forwards, "Scram? Are you serious Graft? A toa without lips coulda' given a better nip. No play, no pay. You set me up, now the tables turn the other way." Graft gulped, then the sound of steel being released, hungry steal crying for a meal. "If you don't leave, I'm going to make you leave.""Wanna' play punk?" Draeverian said, his mirth suddenly missing as the icicles on the roofs around exploded into a pasacalia and fugue baseline. "I'm all set and ready, wanna' see who walks off living? Ready..." Draeverian shifted his feet into a lowered stance with his right foot back and left hand forward in a crude gesture, Rivet's maw pointing from her position in his right hand at Graft's presence. "Set..."Graft snapped. "I'LL KILL YOU!!" He bellowed while activating his mask of strength and bull rushing the blind toa. Claymore raised high, Graft swung a deathblow towards Draeverian's head, the blade sinking clean and deep into the soft external coating----of snow. The blade stuck no more than an inch from Draeverian, who was no positively humming. Not through his mouth, but through his body, a resonance of incredible frequency enveloped the small space between the houses, creating a crushing pressure against Graft and his incompetent weapon. Without a word spoken, Draeverian swung Rivet down in a biting arc, smashing into the claymore and cutting it's hilt like a twig. A drop of blood and a finger landed on the ground. "Woops. I guess I really am a blind man, just doing the best I can." Graft groaned and cried, hunching over himself while attempting to stop the bleeding. Sighing, Draeverian stuck Rivet into the snow, her jaw resting across, but not damaging, Graft's wrist. Reaching up, Draeverian undid the knot hold his headband and whipped it away. Frigid cold rushed into the empty sockets where two orbs once beheld the world's splendor no longer existed, leaving only bulging vein and sunken skin. Dropping the black leather strip, he picked up Rivet and walked off, leaving Graft with a choice of losing his thumb forever, or wrapping his bleeding finger in the band and hustling to the closest healer in the village. Reaching the door, Draeverian yanked slightly on the knob. It really is locked. Weird. Not wasting time, Draeverian gripped Rivet and brought her down on the knob, shattering the mechanism inside against Rivet's protests of indecency. Sticking his finger in the opening, her fiddled out the broken pieces and pushed his door open. Stepping inside, he was greeted with a sweet warmth, his starting headache from the cold in his recessed sockets disappearing as the door closed. Grabbing for the coat rack, and finding it still there, he jabbed it into the broken doorknob to hold the door closed. "That should do it." Well, we're back. We're back.OOC: OKAY, that was a bit long... but it was necessary. :P C&C appreciated. Also, VF: I did a timeskip of a couple weeks. • OOC: Nah, Kohra is gone to the inn by now. In her story it's been two days since the sabotage in the mine.IC:The vortixx had watched the fight between the two Toa from a distance, leaning against the side of the building that housed the inn. She could afford to stay for several days, thanks to a stash of widgets she had found the first night in the house. Property of Graft apparently. He hadn't been home that particular day and she had taken full advantage of the empty house to have a relaxed night and a good sleep, with the whispers distant and quiet. That much she had earned for flooding the great mine. The next day she had relocated and checked herself into the inn, into one of the nicer rooms, under the name of Nonaho. Now she was a guest of the inn, unregistered with the Sanctum-guard, so she was free to go about the village as she pleased. Or just stand outside her temporary base of operations and watch her former involuntary ally fight for his humble abode, too fixated on his prize to notice her. And while watching she was thinking hard, weighing schemes against one another, thinking of her next big move, the next attack on the three virtues. But which to pick? Destiny? Destroy the wall of prophecy? No, that was absolutely out of the question. And duty would suffer if unity was damaged. So unity had to take another blow. Her leads left behind in Onu-Wahi would point to a Matoran perpetrator. Now, how would she bring that phantom into play here? She needed to seperate the villagers from one another...or seperate the villages.A small smile began to form on her face. With a beginning for an idea she turned around and elegantly walked back into the inn.

  • IC: Draeverian JoskiirThe drawer slid open with a loud scrape, revealing spare leather headbands to cover Draeverian's eyes, as well as several hats, socks, and other garments for the cold weather. He had no knowledge of who had just previously occupied his rug covered hole in the glacier, but whoever it was had taken all the widgets from his sock drawer. "That dratted Graft, taking widgets without paying' back. Shoulda' taken more than a thumb. Just to make his stink in' his stinkin' tears run." Curling up on his bed, Draeverian hung Rivet on her peg against the wall near the crackling hearth and slipped into the covers. "Well at least it's home." And Draeverian drifted into a peaceful sleep for the first time in four months.

  • ooC: Sorry, forgot about this. I need Wraith to finish the flashback though, it's important to my plans for Tails. IC: TailsSensing that Wraith was escaping, Tails pulled him back into the flashback, but this time at a point further on. The two toa had split up in search of Vernadon's father. Little did they know that an avalanche was about to strike. Vernadon would see this avalanche from far away, unable to do anything. Wraith on the other hand would be right in it's midst, it would be on that day that he would realize that had his element prowess been greater, Vernadon would have never lost his father. However none of this concerned Tails, what concerned him was the location of Wraith's blade, he needed to know where it had been abandoned.

  • IC: Wraith - Mind Trap -The avalanche was coming down upon Wraith. In a few moments it would engulf him. Wraith had little time, he drew out his sword, and stabbed it into the ground. He though if he could just hold on...he'd be okay. But then the avalanche hit, which instantly consumed him, dragging him along with it, Wraith wasn't sure what happened to his sword at that point, only that it was most likely still plunged into the ground, if he didn't get out of this avalanche...he'd be dead soon. So, he began to concentrate...channeling his powers, he strained to make the avalanche stop. To his surprise...it did. He pulled himself out of the snow, and then he began to walk back toward where he left his sword. Eventually in the distance he could see it, his sword. He finally got up to it and pulled it out. He stared at it for a while. Then he sighed and shook his head. Nearby was a cave, he made his way toward it. Inside, he placed the sword on the ground, covered it with rocks, and then left the cave...
