IC: "Good thing I don't have a tail to pull." Trakuda grinned, referring to his making of the joke, "Ah, so much to do, so little time... Where do you think the ILS will be headed in future? When we win, that is."
IC: Alfon"Who knows? I'm still pretty sure we'll end up in the books though, that's for sure. Madrihk will go down as the founder of the village known as Pala-Koro, a beacon of hope and we'll be known as the co-founders. Yep...we're gonna be famous..."
IC: "I don't want fame, to be honest. I was the first person to join other than Madrihk, but I can't claim to much, other than having an emotional breakdown or two. I just like the community feel, knowing that what you do matters. Every small decision we make means the world. Gotta make the most of what you've got. That's what Solia told me before she... Left." this time Trakuda was deliberately being philosophical.
IC: AlfonAlfon was about to say something about how fame was always a dream of his however Trakuda seemed to take on a saddened emotional state upon the mention of Solia, his ex-girlfriend. Alfon sighed and patted the Ko-Matoran on the back gently."You okay?"
IC: "Yeah... Yeah I'm fine..." Trakuda sighed, "Never look back, right?" he looked up at Alfon, semi-half-hearted, semi-encouraging.
IC: Alfon"Never look back." Alfon repeated, almost to himself and agreeing with Trakuda. At least the Ko-Matoran handled the situation better than he did before. That and his new resolution suited him quite well."There's always more fish in the sea."
IC: Trakuda shrugged, but didn't say anything. He decided it was best to just wait for Sulov.OOC: Last post for the night. I think we should just freeze time there until Armadijo gets things sorted.
IC: Onyx & Henchmen, Onu-Wahi CatacombsRaveian landed at the Catacomb's entrance, gave the appropriate sonic call, and then began the descent. In a few minutes, Raveian entered Onyx's throne room. "My target has mysteriously dissapeared, and Sentraken's follower has began to track Chronn." He reported as he bowed. Onyx remained silent. Raveian glanced up, no expressions on his face, including fear. Onyx waved his hand as he spoke. "Dissmissed." Raveian once again bowed, and then slipped into the darkness.Turning his head to Sentraken, Onyx spoke. "Shall I send my hitmen out once more? Or end this chase?"
IC: Tegam, Tengrua, Ning, and AmakavThe four made there way to (Insert current location of hau karda members here)."How much money did we get for the orphans?" Ning asked.
IC: "The Shadow is elusive, but he is no fighter. The only way he can get the Death-Blade is with the information that Chronn and Reich possess, and if we make sure that neither of those beings give it to him, we have nothing to worry about." Sentraken concluded comfortably, "Gutlun should be able to figure out this much, which is probably why he chose to follow the Detective. Although it may be a good idea to keep The Shadow under surveillance in case he does something dangerous."
IC: Frustro"You're being followed, you know." Frustro pointed out. "And not by me."
IC: Onyx & Henchmen, Onu-WahiOnyx nodded. "Well, shall we wait for Gutlun to make his report, or send out a watcher for The Shadow?"
IC: "Send out a watcher. You can never be too careful." Sentraken replied, pacing up and down the chamber.
IC: Havon - Onu-Wahi Tunnels -"'NEX' huh? Never heard of them. Though, if they are a group of assassins, I don't believe they could possibly working for Turaga Whenua, he'd never hired assassins."IC: (Uar)Uar changed the subject. "I've heard that a group or person called 'NEX' has been assassinating certain individuals. Some say that they're working for the Turaga." he said.
IC: Onyx & Henchmen, Onu-Wahi CatacombsOnyx nodded at Raveian who once again left the chamber.
IC: ChronnThat was it, the blathering cool dude. Hiss constant worthless chatter was enough that it cost me my connection. I had lost Reich, and that pitiful excuse for a being was the cause. I stormed off, heading back towards my office, planning a nice long sleep and to eat trail mix. Reich would still be alive and waiting to die tomorrow. But when reached my office... something wasn't right. Some things had been moved around, some looked like they had been knocked over. I didn't really care. I just sat back in my broken chair, and grabbing a handful of trail mix. There was something buried in my trail mix. Something... paper.I pulled it out revealing a note. I went into my back room, where no one else could see it. It had what seemed... rather interesting an offer.Detective Thedar Chronn,You cannot stop Reichenbach, the Master of Crime, on your own. You clearly require assistance. Meet us in the cave at the end of the highway, near Ko-Wahi. You can't miss it.A friendThis was worth considering looking into. Perhaps it was someone not as worthless as all of my past employees had been. I grabbed a bag of trail mix and left my back room, sealing it shut. I was heading in the direction of Ko-Wahi. This should be interesting.
IC: FrustroFrustro saw Chronn leave, and followed him. He saw him walk out holding the note."It's a trap. I suggest you spring it so that the guilty party can be more easily caught."
OOC:
Sorry Vorex, he can't see it.IC: ChronnThe note was well hidden upon my person as I walked past the moron from before. He had decided to follow me to my office, not that I cared. I had more important things that were to be done first.I went into my back room, where no one else could see it.
OOC: I was referring to the fact that he walked out without you specifying where Chronn had the note. He assumed that the note had told Chronn to go somewhere, as Chronn does not often leave his home, and he just did, holding said note.IC: FrustroGod, I hate acting moronic. I just hope this guy leads me to him."I'm still gonna follow you."
IC: IhreyIhrey leaned against the tunnel wall and glanced at Krohu. "We're not here for lightstones. I'm here because I'm getting paid to fight somewhere near him. I know there's a possibility for combat, so that's enough to get me to want to tag along."
OOC: No Vorex, no. He didn't see the note. I hadn't even mentioned him bringing the note, implying that it was still in his back room.IC: ChronnI shot lightning at the guys face. "Self defense, stalking a detective is a crime."
IC: Krohu"Quarral-fighting is not my style... Well not underground its not. Le-matoran you see. Im a bit clumsy on my feet." He laughed, remembering the first time he tried to do it. "I cant really help you unless Im outside on my Kahu"
OOC: My point being, you hadn't mentioned it at all, which meant that it would still be in Chronn's hands.IC: Pirok"Come on, I think it's this way." Pirok set off, and had soon reached Dark C Investigations, where he saw a figure leaving the hut (and blasting lightning at another). He assumed this being was Chronn. He then ran towards the Toa."Excuse me, are you Thedar Chronn?"
OOC: Why are you so intent on following him, Vorex? Can't someone do something outside of your knowledge for once?IC: Zarrus dreamed of strange things. He saw many faces, and heard many voices, but they all seemed invisible. As soon as they were gone, he forgot them. In his dreams he was whole, his arm and mask fully intact. In the real world, things were slightly more hectic. Doctors wheeled him through the hospital calling hospital-y words at each other as nurses rushed on to the scene, pursuing the stretcher with various pieces of equipment, slamming them on the Matoran if they were fast enough.
OOC: I'm not 'intent on following him'. Pirok's been headed towards him for ages, and Frustro has his own intentions.IC: NikarraNikarra stood to the side, unnoticed by anyone in the hospital. She walked towards Zarrus, who had been left on a hospital bed.
IC: Zarrus' eyes slowly opened before Nikarra, and looked up at her, "Uh, hello?" he mumbled drowsily.
IC: Nikarra"I'm really sorry about this, but I'm going to have to kill you." Nikarra took out a knife, around which electricity crackled.
IC: Zarrus' eyes widened, just as a Doctor burst into the room, threw Zarrus into the opposite corner of the room, and made huge hands of stone burst from the ground and grab at Nikarra.OOC: Hooray for NPC interference ![]()
IC: NikarraThe Doctor, however, barely got into the room as he was electrocuted, dying instantly. Nikarra shut the door."It's nothing personal, believe me."
OOC: Ignoring the dispute in our PMs just now
IC: Zarrus jumped to his feet, and sprang off his bed and through the now-opened door. Scrambling to his feet, he sprinted through the corridors of the hospital until he came to the lunch hall, which was rather crowded. After accidentally knocking a Plasma Matoran's bowl of porridge on the floor, Zarrus clambered through the kitchens and grabbed several sharp weapons, before escaping through the fire escape at the back of the kitchen, charging into the cold alley outside.
IC: NikarraUnfortunately for Zarrus, Nikarra had followed him. There were only two sides to the alley, one being the way Zarrus got in (which Nikkara was now blocking) and the other being the entrance to the morgue.
OOC: For your stubbornness, I have edited.IC: Zarrus ran down the alley, panting furiously, until he stormed into the Morgue and was knocked unconscious by a huge being.By the time Nikarra would get there, both beings would be gone. And there were no witnesses.
OOC: No LIVING witnesses.IC: NikarraNikarra had activated her Tryna to make the corpses in the morgue block Zarrus path, but through their eyes she witnessed Zarrus' capture. She ran through the morgue, her undead minions in tow, headed in the same direction the large being had been.OOC: I guess you neglected to read her profile, then? ![]()
OOC: Don't correct me. I said no witnesses, and I meant no witnesses.IC: But she would find that once she had made it through the morgue, she would not track down her prey. For they had vanished, even the undead did not have perfect vision, in fact, theirs was worse. Zarrus would not be seen again for a long time.
OOC: You're in a room full of dead people. Recently dead people. They would have seen the event, if they were alive. Or reanimated.IC: NikarraNikarra sighed, the bodies falling to the ground. At least if Zarrus was out of the way, her plans had been accomplished.
OOC: Well, you lose. Zarrus is mine. Also, minor bunnying here on Darkon's Matoran guy.IC: Gutlun entered Onyx's throne room after being escorted by the Igor-like Matoran from the entrance. He marched up seemingly to Onyx, then turned to Sentraken, drawing the Matoran, once a servant of Sentraken's, and threw him to the ground at the Vortixx's feet."Good, Gutlun. Good..." Sentraken commended, gazing profusely at Zarrus as Gutlun left to continue his assigned task of following Chronn.
IC: WalkerThe Toa of crystal awoke with a loud yawn, announcing his awakening as he stretched before propping himself out of bed. Today was the big day: Walker finally got the okay from the doctors that his injuries from his battle with Onyx had fully healed and the bones in his hands had finally healed. Despite having spent so much time here, Walker never really adjusted to hospital protocol, having to wear its clothes and such, causing quite a bit of chaos and conflict with the doctors.Unfortunately, Savulg, the team's jittery Vortixx had left to pursue those acting lessons and make it big in life, rather than follow a life of petty crime with the gang. The Toa was very reluctant to let him go and was very upset but he knew that it wasn't a very easy decision for his friend."Garme! Wrehn! Grab your gear, some food and lets get the karz outta here!" he exclaimed, not caring whether he was in the midst of waking up other patients. A resident employee sighed and simply walked away, knowing better than to tell him to keep quiet.
OOC: I never even mentioned what he did with it, implying that he was not holding it any longer. Also, a Tryna does not let you see through the dead's eyes, Vorex. Only mask that does that is Chronn's.IC: ChronnAnd I was gone, slipping away from all of the cool dudes. An electric field sparked for a few seconds, giving me a few seconds lead. And a few seconds was all I needed to leave the area, heading for a Location that only I knew, and would be without interruption by those who continued to waste my time. It was going to go exactly as planned, no matter how hard those others might try to ruin this. And soon, I was reaching the designated cave and stepping inside. Suddenly, with not enough time for anyone else to get inside, a thick wall of a unknown substance, that I could not see in the dark, blocked the entrance. It was clear that I was not alone in the cavern, just from the fact that I could hear breathing."Here I am, not what is it you believe is worth me wasting my time upon?""Reichenbach...""Yes, the foolish imbecile. What about him?""His acts are slowly destroying your image, are they not?""Not in the slightest, if anything, he's just improving my reputation as I take on a major, yet pathetic killer.""But he is proving rather difficult to contain, is he not?""Perhaps slightly...""Then let us help offer our services to help... bring justice to him.""And why would I care about doing that?""Because you know that he is not going to be as easy to stop as you wish to believe.""... Fine... and what do you want in return?""...Then we have a deal." It was clear the first part was ignored. The motive of the being or beings was unknown. "We will supply you with... useful information when we it comes to us.""Very well then... do you have anything worth this waste of time now?""No. We will keep in touch with you detective. Tell no one of our meeting."Then, the substance blocking the cave entrance opened, letting Chronn out. He started walking back to his office, chuckling to himself. This was going to be interesting. And no one could have heard through the wall of the unknown substance. For no noise at all had gotten out.IC: GarmeThe Matoran walked over, stumbling slightly with her leg bandaged up still. She could walk now, and to serious damage had been done, but she still needed to keep it from getting infected, and it still hurt."Ah, shut up Walker." She snapped, walking up holding a few less than legally obtained fruit.
OOC: In BZPRPG you can use it to see through their eyes and/or make them talk.I don't think you saw this the first time, so I'll repeat it.IC: PirokPirok ran over to Chronn."Excuse me, are you Thedar Chronn?"
IC: Wrehn appeared with the others, looking slightly downtrodden after Zarrus had knocked his porridge on the floor, but also pleased they were finally leaving the hospital and that his ear was functional again. After a brief montage grabbing his weapons and possessions, including the shards of his diamond in the bag of widgets, a wide grin spread across his face, "Aw yeah baby, we're on the road agaiiinnn..."OOC: Aw yeah, baby!
