BZPRPG: Le-Wahi

IC(Zand, D): "Oh Karz...if that was what I think it was..."Zand climbed up on top of the Headquarters. "Blasted jungle! I can't see anything with all these...trees...in the way. Voriki!"The Toa of Electricity looked up at the Vortixx. "What are you so worried about? It's just a...screechy noise.""More than that. Just...trust me on this. We will need to go on the defensive. Anything we can do to fortify the village, we must do. I'll tend to the matoran's wounds, can you guys take care of that?"

IC: Trakuda looked up at the Vortixx, "What is it, Zand? What is it you're not telling us?"

IC(Zand): "I think I know what that is...I've heard it before...it was a terrifying experience. I don't remember what they were called though...just that noise."

Ledzel decided to ignore the sound and tend to the wounded."How may I help?" he asks Mahdrik while looking over the Le-Matoran. The Po-Toa takes a sip of the bottle before setting it down. Karz, did he need that.-Mef Man

IC (Madrihk):Something in the jungle was obviously not to be trifled with, and Madrihk now had a good opportunity to show what kind of leader he could be."Right!" he yelled. "If I'm getting it right, that screech means trouble. Village defenses are now top priority!"He pointed towards the jungle."Ledzel, Onyx, Kirbati... you have the elements best suited to create blockades. I want you to get me a nice and solid wall to cover our sight towards the forest. Pile it up with dirt on this side and line the inside with metal to strengthen the structure."Then, the water."A wall won't help much where the ground is mushy. We will need alternate measures. Alfon, Voriki, Aryll and Ackune: co-operate to set up electric traps along the water's edge."He waved for the rest of the group."The rest of you, come with me. We shall scout ahead to ascertain the threat. But first... Zand, what can you tell us about this thing?"

IC: Trakuda jogged to Madrihk's side, drawing his sword with his free hand, dual wielding the axe and sword. He only fought if his other's lives depended on is, and this sounded like one of those times.

IC:Jasik had left Po-Koro before the Rahkshi attack and had traveled back to Le-Wahi to regroup. Sitting down in his rented hut, he kicked back and fell to sleep.After ten minutes, he woke up and walked to try and find help. He had to warn people...-Teezy

IC: AckuneHe nodded to Madrihk, waiting for Zand to tell them about the creatures.

IC:Jasik's voice rang out over the group's conversation."They're Rahkshi," the Toa of Air said shakily. "There are six of them attacking Po-Koro right now. Expect lots of casualties, lots of damage, and expect them to be unstoppable."-Teezy

IC: "What the- Where did you come from?" Trakuda asked, confused, "Whatever. Wait, Rahkshi? I've heard of them. Horrible creatures, according to legend."

IC:"I came from Po-Koro," he said. "The people of the other villages needed to be warned."His hands were trembling. He clenched his fists and continued."Po-Koro is under siege and approaching ruin," he said, his voice stronger now, "and you must work to avoid the same fate."-Teezy

IC: Alfon / OnyxOnyx created a good amount of metal pegs for Alfon to use in conjunction with his wire before running off to the perimeter of the village, beginning to construct walls of iron about fifteen tall around the settlement. The wall slowly but surely shot up from the ground, rising into the air at a steady pace as Onyx concentrated on shaping it. Once he was done, the walls stood proudly facing the forest side, protecting 'Pala-Koro'. Still, creating such a wall tuckered him out, having used up a lot of his elemental energy."Cover the walls with stone and dirt!" he called out to Ledzel and Kirbati.Alfon, grateful that his brother created pegs and that he had received more wire from those who went on recruiting trips, picked up the metal spikes and rushed over to the shore of the lake. Peg after peg, he planted them in the ground at an even distance from each other, covering a good part of the shore's perimeter.With that done, he opened his satchel and took out an abundant amount of rolled wire, putting them to good use by tying them to the pegs, serving as a form of tripwire."I'm going to charge these later so when you're done setting up the traps, give me the go."

IC: Trakuda swallowed hard, "But what would Rahkshi want with us? Our village isn't even finished."

IC: AckuneHe took out his blacksmith's hammer and drove the pegs that Aflon had put onto the ground."Clever." He said to the toa of lightning.

IC:"My only guess is they're looking for something," Jasik said, sitting down on a tree stump, "and they haven't found it yet."He sighed and put his head in his hands."Rahkshi...not for a hundred thousand years have I seen one. I had hoped..."-Teezy

IC: Alfon"Thanks, hopefully the grass will conceal them slightly. I suggest you keep on high alert with your Arthron, especially for the water. If anyone here can hear stuff coming from the lake, it would be you."Alfon picked up the last of the pegs and put them in a neat pile."If you hear something odd, tell me; I'll chuck these things in the water after giving them an electrical charge. Strange as it is, I'm a Toa of electricity who sucks at creating actual electricity. Only time I can do it really well is if I channel it through physical means."

IC: Trakuda sighed, "Rahkshi, Alfon. The Sons of Makuta. You don't just throw them around. They have the most horrific abilities. I heard they can turn even the best of friends against each other, and strike fear into the hearts of those who think they know none."

IC: Ackune"Will do," he said, turning his Anthron up a higher level, "I don't think its too odd. I once knew a Toa of Plasma who could only control heat."

IC: AlfonWhen Alfon heard that there were Rahkshi in the jungle, he froze for a moment and his heart skipped a beat. Pale, he turned around to face Trakuda, his face still serious but a grim look now mixed with it."Yeah well, I wasn't talking about chucking whatever it was in the water. I was talking about these pegs here, using them as projectiles while they have an electrical charge. Still...Rahkshi..."The thought of fighting one of those vile creatures was enough to make the Toa prefer to single-handedly tangle with a herd of raging Muaka.

IC: "But they wouldn't come here, right? I mean, Makuta would be more interested in Le-Koro, wouldn't he?" Trakuda asked, a hint of panic in his voice.

IC: Alfon"Truth be told, I don't think so. Remember that darn castle he blew up? Why did he blow it up and not Le-Koro? For all I care, he might do the same thing with this settlement. Think about it, we're the Island Liberation Squad, a group of people working together to free the island of Makuta's influence. The attack on Jianheilm might have simply been a means to destroy us." explained Alfon."Still, it doesn't matter. From what you've told me, apparently, they're here now and if they're in the jungle, we have to prepare. If they come well...I'll see you in the afterlife."

IC:"All the same," he said, "you should probably prepare just in case. I've seen these things in action. I know how they work. You don't want to take that chance."He sighed. He felt guilty for leaving Po-Koro, but at the same time, defending one doomed village was not worth risking five, no, six, villages that could possibly be saved.-Teezy

Ledzel follows the Onyx and creates the stone barrier for the being. It took some time since he hadn't been using his powers as much, but he finished the job in no time."Ready," he says to all.Sitting up, Sagom says to Nost,"Listen, how about we go to Ga-Koro, get a nice room, eat like pigs, and relax for a couple days. That way, we'll have the beach right at our fingertips and everything else there is to do there."-Mef Man

IC: Nost"I like your thinking Sagom but first." Nost rolled on top of Sagom and kissed her on the lips. They wouldn't have too many opportunities to be alone like this so he'd take advantage of this moment.

OOC: (@ Sagom and Nost) HAHAHAHA!IC: Phavion, Le-KoroPhavion heard the Rahkshi's cry as well. He looked about concerned, "What in Mata Nui's name was that?"

Sagom returns the kiss and smiles. Yes, it was nice being able to finally relax with the man she loved. It felt good just to be alone on the beach."I like your thinking as well," she replies while continuing to lie down.-Mef Man

IC(Zand): "Exactly. Rahkshi. Deadly things. Snakey, and each has control over something different. And, If I remember correctly, they are under the control of the Makuta."

IC: NostAfter their little kissy time, Nost stood up and helped Sagom do the same. Smiling, he took her hand and led the both of them to Seaweed who was 'parked' somewhere out of view."We should do that more often." he said in a half-joking manner before helping her onto the bird, hopping on himself.

IC(Zand, D, Lord Exterminite, Black Mage): Zand had gotten D to obtain plants to make an antidote for poisons. Many poisons. He couldn't be too careful, as there were stories of Rahkshi that could poison. Besides, some of the matoran still needed the cure for Nui-jaga poison.Lord Exterminite landed on the coast of the wahi, and began walking to the north, attempting to find Draebe. He stumbled upon Pala-koro. "What in the name of sanity..."Black Mage stormed through the jungle, attempting to find something. This fetch quest really got out of hand once the pumpkins got involved...OOC: Zand accidently used Reinforcements!...It's not very effective...

"Yes, we should," replies Sagom while smiling. Soon, the bird was in the air and lifting off; heading to Ga-Wahi.OOC: Nost and Sagom to Ga-Wahi.-Mef Man

OOC: Sorry, but Rhow has been standing around a bit too long, Fanixe...I'll have her move on. She and Lantz can meet up later again, but for now, she's moving on.IC:The Skakdi had had enough. This Lantz-Character had dragged her along, all for picking flowers that had done who knew what to their brains. Luckily for Rhow, without the flowers near her she could slowly start to think clearly again. Her memories were doing better as well. She remembered being in Ga-Koro before this, having a drink with Lantz. The details were fuzzy, but that much she knew to be true. "The good part is you probably won't remember any of this." the Skakdi spat, her voice like acid. "I'm out. And if you ever try to drag me along on some flower-picking quest again, I'll eat your head and use what's left of your armor to clean my teeth." With that, Rhow turned around and walked off into the brush of the Le-Wahi jungle, leaving the amnesia-stricken Lantz behind. -----------Several hours later, the Skakdi was still fighting her way through the underwood of the jungle. She hadn't counted the time, but the light had gotten a bit dimmer and the air heavier. Sniffing, the Skakdi realized that this was not a good sign. she remembered moments like these from long ago and far away. Usually, this feeling meant a fight was going to happen.How, the Skakdi couldn't know. But she had learned to trust her instincts. And as if to prove her right, she heard a scream in the distance, a high-pitched screeching that could be described as uncomfortable at best.Carefully, she tried to locate the source of the scream. But even her vision didn't help to see it. She could just go on the direction she had heard it from.Rhow had never been one to run away from a fight. So, like the savage predator she was, she began to move in the direction she'd heard the Rahkshi scream from. She didn't know, what she was getting into, however.OOC: Here's to hoping the next 7 hours will be uneventful in this topic, since I'll be asleep and I'd hate to be late for the fight-party...

IC: Rahkshi, Aryll hated Rahkshi. After putting the Matoran (Whose wounds he'd tended to) into the hut, he set to work building the trap. Gathering wooden poles, he pounded them into the beach.He needed something vital to complete his trap."Wire! I NEED WIRE!" he cried.OOC: Canoes retconned.

OOC: Sorry for late reply Ihu.IC: Phavion, Le-KoroAs the two Skakdi finished, Phavion looked at his repaired armor. It was certainly a interesting way to fix armor."Alright," Phavion said, "What favors do you need done?"

OOC: (@ Sagom and Nost) HAHAHAHA!IC: Phavion, Le-KoroPhavion heard the Rahkshi's cry as well. He looked about concerned, "What in Mata Nui's name was that?"

OOC: I had something else in mind, but the Rahkshi change things.IC: Natan was so shocked by that screech he couldn't reply to the toa's question. He could never forget that sound, or its owners.Rahkshi. He knew them as the Makutas' most brutal servants, the nastiest guards of the Skakdis' prison. To any Skakdi on Zakaz, the Rahkshi were fear and pain incarnate to any who got in their way, and they were especially hard on iron Skakdi like himself. He thought he had escaped the Rahkshi when he escaped Zakaz and came to this island but clearly he was wrong.Matan eventually found his voice. "Go." he said. "That shriek came from a Rahkshi. Pay us like this: don't let any Rahkshi near this place. Go."As soon as he was done speaking, Phavion was being half escorted, half pushed out of the workshop and out into the street. The door was slammed behind him, and the cracks around it were being sealed up with iron.

IC: Phavion, Le-KoroPhavion stared in disbelief as the two Skakdi made their shack into a miniature fortress."Those two-!" He exlaimed, "If I make it through this, I'm going to have a few words with them about this..."

IC: Neither Matan nor Natan heard Phavion's words. They had learned on more than one occasion never to mess with Rahkshi. Those monsters were bad news, no matter where they showed up.

IC (Ketan)Ketan's entry into Le-Koro was without fanfare or alarm: the only thing that announced his presence was a soft breeze that swept through the branches around the Koro, causing the leaves to shiver. He crossed the rope bridge into the village he despised, but his face revealed nothing. He remained impassive.The village was as calm as Le-Koro ever was, which is to say that it was busy as a hive of Nui-Rama. As the Toa of Air slipped through the crowd, he kept his ear open for any interesting information."...and she said, 'If you want-need it you'll have to...'""Bula berries! Good-sweet bula berries! Cheap-good and yummy!""...said something about Rahkshi in the..."Ketan frowned at this last piece of conversation, but before he could hear any more, the speaker had disappeared into the crowd. He craned his neck, hoping to learn more about this Rahkshi sighting, but quickly gave up.Probably nothing more than some prank, anyway.The Le-Matoran were famous for pranks. Even Matau, the Turaga of the village, had been known to play tricks on his villagers and even his fellow Turaga. It was one of the reasons Ketan hated tihs place.Putting it out of his mind, Ketan continued through Le-Koro.OOC: Ketan is open for interaction. This is your chance to interact with him before he joins the Toa Daedra and, well, gets a lot busier.

OOC: ZMW, we don't have canoes.IC: AlfonReluctant to give up his cherished wire to a bossy newcomer, he fumbled through his satchel and gave Aryll a measly amount of it. "You coulda just asked. Don't have to yell it."

OOC: According to the blog, the ILS does have two canoes.IC: "The Rahkshi are something to yell about, my friend," Aryll said, in a slightly scared tone. Putting one end of the wire into the water, he stood along the beach. Focusing the energy into the wire, he channeled lightning into the lake. The electricity almost instantly caused fish to bubble up to the surface. But that wasn't all Aryll had in store. Being a master elementalist, he began to channel even more electricity into the water. By force of will, he caused lightning bolts to shoot from the lake."Now, Afron, may I please have a longer strain of wire? I need to be able to do this from cover."

OOC: Seriously? Oh well.IC: Alfon"It's Alfon, fool." he said, distate for Aryll present in his voice. He didn't like the Toa of electricity for some reason, there was just something about him that threw Alfon off his game."Yeah sure, here's your wire." Alfon gave Aryll a good, lengthy bit of wire. "Just don't go around wasting your elemental energy like that. That was a good amount you just used and for fish. Don't be such a brakas."Alfon did the same for him and gave D a good bit of wire as well. If something emerged from the water, they'd fry it while Ackune and Onyx would watch their backs.

OOC: Alfon is on to something. IC: "Thank you," Aryll said.Making sure not to pronounce Alfon's name again, Aryll strung the wire so that he would be safely behind the barrier.
