IC: ??/JikalIt struggled for breath as it began to black out. It's lightning bolt had missed Dail, but Emotia was still in danger from the second. The being managed a smirk before it began to black out and Jikal began to return, the toa didn't have time to do anything before darkness descended around him........
IC: Dail reappeared and knelt down, hefting the limp body into a fireman's carry."I have a place where you can rest." She said. "Come with me."With that, she led them to her ravine home a few miles inland. Once they arrived (Dail wondered what they thought of a home in the side of a ravine wall), Dail deposited the unconscious Jikal on her cot. The Tome of the Student sat on a desk, and a few simple ameities adorned the place, small comforts that Dail had gathered. Other than that, it was rather spartan.![]()
IC: EmotiaEmotia had just been pulling out her metal pole as the lightning had raced toward her, the lightning arced up the pole, still giving her a wicked jolt, but leaving her relatively alright. Then the Jikal fell unconscious thanks to Dail. Then they traveled on to Dail's place, Emotia looked at the home, it was on the side of a ravine. "Nice place..." she commented, not really sure what to make of it.
IC: ReaverShe was in wonder at Dail's ravine home. 'This. Is. AMAZING!!!' Her voice echoed around the place. 'I want to live here! You got a guest bedroom?'
IC: Dail smiled. "Unfortunately, no. We'd have to build more if we wanted to house more people." She said.OOC: Subtlety abounds.![]()
IC: Reaver'Wait, "we"? Who's we?' she moved her hand to her Dagger handle cautiously.
IC: Dail raised an eyebrow. "You expressed a desire to live here, and I already do. That's more than one, which is plural. We." ![]()
IC: Reaver'Oh, right.' She blushed slightly.' And I'd have no trouble hollowing out another room, just gimme a few days to slowly erode the rock away with wind.'
OOC: Edited. My bad. ><IC: Dail shrugged. "That's fine if you just want a hole in the wall...part of my home is protruding from the ravine wall." She pointed out. "There will be manual labor involved. I simply would like to help a prospective companion."![]()
IC: Emotia"Or...you could let me erode it...water is better at eroding than wind...it's faster anyway..." Emotia didn't really see the point of this conversation, they couldn't stay here for more than a day or so.
IC: Reaver'Any sleeping condition is alright with me. I could sleep with a sword in each of my limbs if I wanted to. On the back of an angry, bucking Kane-Ra.' She brushed some dirt out of the various scars in her armour.
IC: Dail had to chuckle a bit. "Playing tough? Trust me, a bed is much more comfortable. Really, are you that uncomfortable with aid?"![]()
IC: Reaver'No, not at all, I'm fine with it. It's just.... we wanted you to leave in the hospital because we didn't want you to get hurt. We are so much more than just Toa, we can destroy villages with our bare hands if we wanted to.'
IC: "A lot of Toa underestimate how well defended the Koros are." Dail observed dryly. "Makuta can't take them down, can he? But I understand why you were worried for me, and I'm thankful. But if I shied away at every sign of danger, I'd never get anywhere in life."![]()
IC: Reaver'I'm just saying there could be death involved, but whatever.' She formed a harmless mini-tornado to clean dust and dirt out of cracks and corners Dail didn't even know existed. The dust then had the good grace to show itself out. 'Whilst we're helping each other out, I cleaned your place up.'
IC: AldarinIt was hard to stab a sign onto a lily-pad. However, it was easy to do so on a beach. So he stabbed his sign on a beach, near the entrance of Ga-Koro.

The turaga walked northwards, towards Po-Koro.OOC: Aldarin to Po-Wahi.
OOC: Okay, since about 2 pages happened while I was away, mind if i assume Knidia just went with the group?IC: "I stopped you fairly well back at the tavern," Knidia pointed out to Reaver, "And I'm hardly the only Toa in the village."
OOC: Blimey, timezones really mess up fights.IC: Crowbar dived out of the way of Hound's charge, even as Hatchet attempted to maul Hajia, jumping at her, claws and teeth bared savagely.Meanwhile, Blackout grabbed Kirian and pulled his foe towards him, activating his laser vision at point blank range, aiming to melt the Toa of Ice's armour in some place or another.IC: Hound & Co, Ga-Koro BeachesAs Hatchet and Crowbar rushed foward, so did Hound, except at Kakama-level speeds, and with enough force to match a Pakari user, aiming to slam into Crowbar.Hajia was running behind Hound when he activated his powers, leaving her in the dust. Pulling out her knives, she controlled the water around her into a wall behind her, ready for use.Tirus was oblivious to it all, and Kirian was drawing his bow.
IC: Auron, Ga-Wahi"We go see Matoran Darre friend called Four?" The Toa of fire asked. He had been somewhat sad when Daylah left, as he trusted her more than Darre, but if Daylah trusted Darre, he decided he would too.
IC: Hound & Co, Ga-Koro BeachHound swivled as his opponent dived out of the way, swining his spear at kakama-level speeds as he passed.Hajia focused as Hatchet pounced, making the water behind her surge foward with insane force, directly into the skakdi.Blackout's lazer vision sizled pass Kirian as the Toa of Ice ducked, glancing his shoulder, but otherwise not harming him. Now Blackout had both Tirus and Kirian right next to him. Poor Skakdi. Tirus swung his gigantic hammer, using his Iron powers to telekenticly swing it faster. Kirian created a gigantic cutlass of Ice, and slashed repeatedly at his foe.
IC: Blackout's eye was shattered as he was knocked unconscious by Tirus.Meanwhile Hatchet was struck by the water, stunning him briefly, before he dived at Hajia, aiming to bite down on her leg.Hound's spear was caught by Crankcase as he entered the fight. The Skakdi pulled the spear towards him, swinging a hard punch at his foe's face as he did so. At that same moment, Crowabar fired a disk at Hound's abdomen.
OOC: Of course! I was assuming Knidia was.IC: Emotia"Ya, I'm sure the koro's will be be fine." Emotia commented. "The real issue is, now that we've had to deal with that little 'mob' experience, what do you guys think is going to happen at all the other koros? Someone's gonna be looking for us, either lawfully or otherwise." Emotia sounded a bit depressed as she spoke, practically everyone she used to call friend in Ga-koro was now probably thinking she was some sorta monster.
IC: JikalAs the others talked, Jikal slowly started to drift back to consciousness. Snippets of conversation made their way through the fog surrounding his mind. "......sign of danger.......""......could be death......""......hardly the only Toa......""......looking for us........."
IC: Dail nodded. "As long as those of your kind create the emotions that they feed on, there will be people to hunt them. I suggest that we attempt to find those who are willing to accept our aid and give them refuge. If they insist in causing misery to others, however..." She shook her head. "I cannot permit that."![]()
IC: JikalJikal's eyes blinked slowly. He was once again aware of himself and his surroundings, but he wasn't sure where he was. All he knew was he could hear the others.
IC: Emotia"Agreed, I won't allow that either. Though we have to take into account that our marks can sometimes take over our bodies...it's happened to me as well, though thankfully it only paralyzed me temporarily.
IC: Jikal"Where am I?" Jikal asked from his position on the cot. "This is certainly more comfortable than any prison I've seen." He commented wryly.
IC: "That would be expected from a home." Dail said. "Mine, specifically. But as you said, Emotia, we would have to have a way to restrain those whose Marks take over. Do you have any suggestions? I can handle a small number, but I don't do crowd control."![]()
IC: Jikal"That would explain it." Jikal replied. He carefully sat up. "So, what did I miss?"
IC: EmotiaEmotia thought about it. "I...don't know...it could prove difficult to restrain certain people, it really depends how much there mark is fed really...and who knows how many more of us there are? There maybe be a lot more than just us could manage. Especially if we can't even manage ourselves." She eyed Reaver and Jikal as she said this.
IC: JikalJikal noticed the look. "Oh sure, blame the one with a split personality." He said bitterly. "Can't blame you there."
IC: "I want to help everyone I can." Dail said. "If we all work together, we can probably hold each other in check."![]()
IC: EmotiaEmotia eyed a chair. She went over to it and sat down, sighing. "I guess...if we don't all get hunted down and killed first..." She said depressingly. She wasn't exactly in high spirits.
IC: "This place is safe from prying eyes. It requires guidance from one who already knows the way to find it." Dail reassured them.![]()
IC: ReaverShe sat down cross-legged on the floor and looked at Emotia. 'Let's hope it doesn't come to that. I'm not sure why they hate us, anyway. We're just Toa with special tattoos.'
IC: EmotiaEmotia looked at Reaver. "Don't you remember what the barkeep said? Something about a mark bearer brutally killing everyone in a village near Ga-koro. That's why. And plus there's our little 'incident' at the tavern. Honestly...use your head."
IC: Reaver'Yeah, doesn't mean the rest of the Mark Bearers are bad. Just me and that other guy. Honestly... use your head.' She gave Emotia a malicious grin.
IC: Jikal"That other guy is listening, thank you very much." Jikal grumbled. "So, to surmise, I missed the start of a discussion on how to help the other Mark-Bearers?"
IC: "Indeed." Dail affirmed. "I suggest that the best way to find them would be to go out and start looking."![]()
IC: JikalJikal nodded. "I would agree. They shouldn't be too hard to track, unless like me they decided to isolate themselves. Most Marks, it would seem, feed on something decidedly not wholesome."
