IC: Exxan - Library.
"Your sympathy for the Matoran," Exxan said, "where does that originate from?" This wasn't just about learning Fang's past to understand him better. This was also about Exxan's behavioral study. Fang was one of the best case studies in the school, and the academic part of Exxan's mind refused to give up the opportunity to learn from him.
IC:
Due to the the treacherous terrain of the Peninsula and the Suukorak's preference for cold, it would not surprise anyone if several of them were to die in a rapid retreat. I would lead my platoon to the very tip in a quick march, with Suukorak falling off to the side to apparently "die." When I got to the tip, very few Suukorak would be left, easy prey for an army like Kalmah's. They would follow through the remains of my army, many laid on the side of the road, but some hiding in the jagged terrain. As the army passed, the Suukorak could disable their "death" power and follow closely, but out of sight. By the time Kalmah reached my small force, his army would be completely surrounded, and I would spring the ambush. Spinners would come from all sides, trapping the soldiers on the borders of the army and making it difficult for those in the center to escape. Those that could would be cut down by my Suukorak. The army would have no choice but to surrender once they were all captured or killed.
If they should discover my ruse before then, the ambush would spring earlier, and I would lead my force backwards at their signal. The ambush may not be as successful with fewer Visorak, but we would still maintain the advantage of surprise, which Suukorak excel at.
An excellent strategy from Hoto, and got a little extra notice from Suvak for even describing the tactics she'd use in the main assault, using the army's own fallen to hem it it
I will assume the prince has found a castle for the purpose of this assignment, as my strategy can be applied to any other structure with few modifications. Before I go in, I would need a small heat or laser-based cutting tool powerful enough to cut through the walls, but small enough to slip under my Kraata, and, if given the option, someone to paint my armor in a camouflage pattern for the stone. It will also work to conceal my power and give me an advantage of surprise. To get in, I could tell them I have details of an impending Brotherhood attack against the prince. As proof that I am against the Brotherhood, I could use my blindness, allegedly given as punishment for betrayal, and a minor poisoning from a plant on the way there. I would insist to be taken before the prince to deliver my message. From the "throne room," I would be able to analyze the materials and/or coverings of the walls using the resonance of my clicks. I would give him some story of a Brotherhood army on its way there consisting of many Rahkshi of Illusion or similar powers, but tell him I would give more details tomorrow. Whether they take me to a cell or a room, I will have a good idea of the layout of the castle, and I would take out any guards in the room as quietly as possible. Using the tool, I could cut through the walls of the chamber and outside, leading many of the guards away in pursuit. After leaving a confusing and winding trail through a nearby village or forest, I could retrace my steps back to the castle, find my way to the room, and follow my directional sense to approximately where the "throne room" would be. I could cut through the wall behind the inevitable throne, stab the cutting tool through the throne into the prince, killing him, and then escape out the same hole. As a Dodge Rahkshi, I should be able to run fast enough to evade pursuers or their projectiles.
Her second answer, however, had a few more flaws in it. While the use of her blindness to maker herself appear weaker made it less likely she'd be killed on sight it didn't rule the possibility out altogether. Her path from hall to cell was unlikely to reveal the whole layout of the castle. And she assumed that not only was the prince going to be alone but that she could simply sneak up on him despite having attachments to her armour that created noise.
I cut off his supply lines- which includes anything he can use to help his cause. Lay siege to his location and prevent him from accessing any resources. Then I will allow a gift basket through so he thinks we are trying to bargain with him. He will certainly eat the food in the basket, which will contain a slow-acting poison. Within three days, the prince will be dead.
A siege was ambitious, and would have to be expansive to include the entire settlement where the prince had made his home. His followers were fanatics and wouldn't allow their leader to be imprisoned, they'd have to be contained as well or they'd lend him aid. And it was unlikely that anyone was going to fall for that food basket trick after Carapar used it way back in his glory days. Ambition was overriding ability here.
I will help him to escape with me by giving him a knapsack carry or the walking assist. If we run into foes, he will use his powers to keep them away. If they get close, I’ll use mine. We will try our best to walk out at a brisk speed, but if he gets tired I shall instruct him to eject his Kraata. I will carry it and fly out the window and to a boat or another method of transportation.
Trying to save the other Rahkshi was noble, but a power scream couldn't shield against lasers and heat vision. It was probably a better idea to go straight to ejecting the kraata.
First I would make myself a thorn in their side, preferhably by fireing on them from long distance. Once they have decided to focus on me I would make a run for it. I would try to find a canyon, If I was lucky I could lead them into it and than bury them, possibly by fireing my explosive-zamors at the cliff face as I ran. If that didn't word my only option, besides improvisation, would be to keep running untill either they give up or I am caught and hope they do not return to the village.
This plan was full of a lot of assumptions and flaws. How would they locate the Visorak? How would they get the attention of the whole horde? What if the Visorak did return to village once they either gave up on the chase or caught Revenge? This wasn't really a solution, it just seemed to be stalling for time.
This task, while hard, is not impossible. However, I do not believe I could pull this off on my own. As such I will not write about what I would do, but rather what I would need. I would need a team to help me pull this off. First of all I would need a trained assassin, a dark hunter would be the best candidate but their services come at a high price, so I might have to settle for someone else. I would also want a spy/scout that could help me figure out the Prince's movements. This person may be the same as the assassin. I would also need some muscle to serve as back up in case the plan fails. Ideally I would prefer Toa. I would convince them to work with me by convincing them of the threat posed by the prince. Toa are extremely powerful but they would limit my options, Toa would refuse to work with certain other members of my team and I would have to work around their no-kill oath.
There are a couple team members I would specifically prefer. First I would want a high level Hunger Rahkshi as long as it listened it's intelligence would not matter. He would be great for draining the prince's energy, making him an easier opponent. I have also read about a legendary rahi named Ketongu, he is known for his ability to purge visorahk venom, but he also has the ability to capture an opponent's Rhotuka and send it back as his own. With a little luck this rahi could quickly bring the prince to his knees.
Well this plan was just unworkable. Dark Hunters were not going to work with the Brotherhood, not after declaring war, and the number of Toa willing to do Brotherhood dirty work were increasingly slim. As for enlisting the entity known as Keetongu for aid, well, Revenge had apparently not read his recent history. Keetongu was not going to help. But the cardinal sin of this essay was that, after listing all these resources, it never explained what exactly to was going to with them. Was the aim to simply take the prince in a head-on assault? That wasn't going to work, even if Revenge did get all the assets he wanted...
"Fighting outnumbered the Rahkshi would stand
Suukorak all at his left and right hands!
Screaming with power at Barraki fleeding
Headaches are perfect for Visorak feeding!"
An entry by song lyrics got no points for originality, and couldn't disguise the fact that this wasn't a very good plan. It seemed to be a direct assault, which simply wasn't practical. An opening power scream would give the Visorak some time to work, assuming it could affect the entire army, but the army would recover before it could be destroyed entirely, and then the Suukorak would be overwhelmed. Another attempt at a power scream would hurt the spiders as much as it would the enemy at that point, so that was their cover gone too. Either Metal's Visorak platoon would be wiped out, or they'd be routed and abandon him after the disaster.
"I go and spread my songs
All around the land
Becoming a Rahk star
Gaining the upper hand!
"I rise into the light
And entertain them all
When I am in his courts
That Steltian prince will fall!"
The length of time this plan took gave the prince too much time to consolidate his power, so there were issues there. And the end result, of simply blasting the prince with a power scream, was too unreliable. It would take a while to actually kil someone with Metal's current level of power, there was too much risk someone would stop him before he could finish the job
First, I would convince the Kraata of the Rahkshi that if it rode on me or in my hat that we would have a much better chance of survival and escape. If it were to refuse or would not understand, I would knock it out, stuff the Kraata in my hat, and slip through the terrain surrounding the lab until opportunity presented itself to make a full escape. With my small stature I would be able to fit where many others would not, and with my power I could slow down anyone that got too close for comfort enough to stagger them with a blow from my mace and the escape once more. Once I would be in a proper position to fly away, I would do so quickly and immediately, having preserved my own Kraata, my armor, my hat, and the life of a dumb yet valuable screamer Kraata.
A level headed means of getting out, and good insight to use the terrain for cover rather than flying immediately where every Skakdi might spot them.
While imprisoned in a Frostelus city-ship, I would imagine that I would be deprived of my mace and my hat. I would sit collapsed in a far corner of my cell and wait until the jailer provided me with sustenance for the day. Due to my rusted armor and motionlessness, he would likely be convinced that I had either died or left my armor. In either case, when he would come to clean out the cell (for another prisoner or just to get the scrap of a Rahkshi suit out of the way), I would grab him the second he would be withing reach and slow down his reaction time immensely. I would then pull him with all of my strength - including a quick burst of flight - into the walls of the cell to stun him further. I would then break his neck and retrieve the keys (assuming he had locked the cell; disregard if he left it unlocked) from his body and, using him as cover from the other Frostelus, quickly unlock my cell and scurry into a vent or other small crevice. With my notably small stature I would easily be able to wriggle through the vents and inaccessible areas of the city-ship until I would be able to fly away to safety. I would then immediately seek to replace my all-important hat and mace from the armories of Headmaster Tridax, assuming I was still a student here.
Hmm, the opening relied too much on the cell guard being an idiot and opening the cell either without backup or without sounding the alarm. However the use of their own small stature as a means of greater infiltration was very clever, and a good example of turning what could be perceived as a weakness into a strength.
What misfortune! Our noble hero has found himself captured by the devilish Frostelus, his staff and all hope taken from him! The Frostelus have left him to perish in his misery! But what is this? Our hero has one last trick up his carapace! He whips out the small sprout and quickly locates (or creates) a small crack in his prison. Glancing around to ensure he is not observed, his powers flow through the plant, accelerating its growth into the crack! The plant expands as it grows, pressing against the ice to crumble it. Should his exploits be overheard, he is ready with a newly-created vine whip to fend off his foes! He snaps it in their faces with a hearty laugh, then plunges into his escape, creating new branches on the plant where a new exit is required and fending off the Frostelus with it! Another burst of his power creates a small shield to block incoming Rhotuka, and if they cut through it, he can grow another! At last, his metal components feel the cool darkness of the outdoors, and he is able to fly to freedom.
The only problem here was the order. The shields probably needed to be created first, to prevent the Frostelus captors sending spinners at him while he was still working on the first exit.
We find our hero in a desperate flight from angry Skakdi, the only hope of his poor injured companion! Using a rough sled of vines, he has been able to move away from immediate danger, but it is too slow to keep them out of the clutches of their adversaries! A hero could never consider leaving another behind, even one as base as this. Thinking quickly, our hero takes cover and uses his power to create camouflage, where he and his companion can wait out the attack and he can tend to the other's injuries. Their small, temporary abode appears to be a mere bush to the Skakdi, and they ignore it in their rampage. As they move on to attack other areas, our hero tears down the plants and uses them to make a better sled to take the injured Rahkshi to a safer location.
Reasonable enough, but it didn't cover what might happen if discovered by Skakdi with x-ray vision or thermal imaging. Simple disguise wouldn't work on them, and then both Rahkshi were cornered.
No sooner was Suvak done marking the submitted essays then Toxin was asking about something. Apparently there'd been some sort of fight in the library. As if there wasn't a perfectly suitable gymnasium just made for this sort of thing. He asked the poison Rahkshi to take him to the scene
IC: Having taken care of a few minor injuries to clear out beds and space, Palma came to Snake. Burns were nasty, especially to creatures of shadow like Rahkshi, but they were nothing new to her veteran medical skills. She took her time regenerating his armour and organic tissues, knowing that too much speed might result in further injury before her healing powers could catch up
IC: Fang - Infirmary
"I simply... cannot watch... while others are... preyed on for... being weak..., unlike some."
He still had enough energy for a piercing stare.
IC: Exxan - Infirmary.
Exxan ignored the misguided attempt at an insult. "And why is that?" he asked. "We're Rahkshi, we're powerful. We were made to fight, and win, and conquer. Why have you chosen to feel sympathy for those who are obviously beneath you?"
OOC: Toxin had decided not to tell Suvak as he already noticed that Deadeye lay defeated on the ground.
IC: Punch/Counterpunch/Gym ---> His Dorm
He went to his dorm to sleep.
IC: Deadeye
Deadeye's eyes opened to a slit. He looked around, his head throbbing. He was in the library, tied up. He tried to escape but his body was still too worn out. He chuckled. That was fun. Perhaps I should refrain from killing that vigilante for now. He seems much too fun. Now his friend....that's a different story. Deadeye lay there, thinking.
IC: Fang - Infirmary
"Benea...!" His hoarse shout was cut off by a fit of coughing. He had to remain calm. He had over-exerted himself as it was.
"There... is no... allotted... priority... of life. A Matoran... is as valuable... as a Rahkshi... or even... a Makuta. More so... than some.
"I chose... to use... my strength... to help those... that need it. I have been..."
He stopped himself. Exxan did not need to know that. He tried to cover with another question. "... wondering... what it is... you find... so worthy of... your power."
IC: Exxan - Infirmary.
"What is worthy of my power?" Exxan repeated the question. "Me, and my brethren. Rahkshi. Specifically, our type of Rahkshi. Those of us here at Corpus, we're special, different from the others. There must be a reason for it, and I want to find out why that is. To do that, I need to understand the ways in which we are different. That is what I use my power for. To gain access to the influence and resources I need to find the answers I seek."
He was expecting a characteristically judgmental response from Fang, so he didn't give him the chance, "You might think I'm stupid, or selfish, but I'm not. What I learn could benefit all of us. I just need time to prove it."
IC: Chekquars (Outside Academy)
The mastermind-in-training pauses, contemplating what Tube had said for a second, before actually understanding and turning to reply. Inwardly, he cringed at himself. That whole trial debacle had really taken its toll if the Darkness Rahkshi wasn't even able to think quickly.
"Why, yes indeed, Tube! That is a fantastic idea, I had forgotten about it entirely in all the excitement. That would be a good way to slow down as well, I myself am beginning to feel exhausted. Now, gather round. Here's likely a good spot."
Chekquars turned to a side, ignoring the entrance of the building in favor of going to an area beside the walls, where a few boulders lay. He soon selected one that seemed comfortable enough, and pushed it near a flatter one.
"Go ahead, take a seat."
Zakaro
IC: Omega
"That's basically what Raptor said directly after pretending to have poisoned me and ripping a sample out of my kraata." Omega said, eyes narrow.
IC: Fang - Infirmary
"I prefer... 'narrow-minded,'" he replied with a slight grin. "I have... heard of your... efforts. What.. have you found?"
IC: Tube - Hallways
Tube plopped down on the offered seat and stared up expectantly like a Hapaka begging for scraps.
IC: Exxan - Infirmary.
"The difference being that I'm not a butcher," Exxan answered Omega, "I have no intentions of ripping pieces out of people. I suspect the change is mental, not physical, and short of dissecting the brains of dead Kraata, the easiest way for me to do that is to study your behaviour and thought processes. Not something I'm able to do without the permission and cooperation of my subjects."
He turned to Fang. "As for what I've found... nothing, yet. I need to get into contact with some normal Rahkshi, to compare."
IC: Omega
Omega was sick of this science kane-ra . "Whatever. Just don't go pointing syringes at me." Omega said.
IC Kat: I piped up at this, "where are you going to find old Rahkshi? The only one here is Palma."
IC: Fang - Infirmary
"Personally..., I see it as... a chance... Whether you... believe in... Mata Nui... or Destiny..., the Rahkshi now have... a choice. You can... stand up... or contine to... serve the Makuta."
IC: Root - Dorms
Had he dozed off? He could not recall falling asleep, only waking up bent over a scratch on his arm. There was some reason he needed to stay awake... wasn't there? A quest of sorts, a dire mission only he could perform... one that had more than one life at stake.
Of course! His fellow justice seeker! Deadeye had mentioned he was seeking revenge, and that other Rahkshi was the one who lead Root to the villain! He had to be warned, and then the quest to free his damsel in distress from the clutches of Torch would begin. Root jumped up and ran out of the room through the dangling vines. Just before he closed the door, he turned back inside on a whim. He walked directly to another sprout and placed a clipping into his armor. The plant produced a pod filled with a liquid that excelled at suffocating fires. Just as a precautionary measure.
OOC: Root open to interaction.
IC: Exxan - Infirmary.
"Did you listen to a word i just said?" Exxan asked Omega in disbelief. He turned to Kat. "That's exactly my problem. I need more subjects. I'm thinking about sneaking out to..." he trailed off, realising that Palma was still in the room, "...never mind."
Finally, he focused on Fang. "What do you mean, continue to serve the Makuta? That implies prior service."
IC: Fang - Infirmary
"The Rahkshi... before us. They... served blindly... killing... and destroying... in the name... of the Makuta. You... don't have to... continue... their legacy."
IC: Omega
Omega chuckled at Exxan. "T'was a joke Captain Salty."
IC: Exxan - Infirmary.
Deciding to ignore Omega, Exxan considered Fang's words. "I only follow myself. Obeying Tridax benefits me now, but in future, well..." he let them consider the repercussions of that, "...but enough about me. You still haven't really answered my question. You think the Matoran are equals, you care about them, I understand that. But why? Something in your past; a positive experience with Matoran, perhaps?"
IC Kat: I had my own questions for Exxan, but as it was, I knew he needed the closure from saying his piece.
Why did he care about Fang's kindness, though...?
I shrugged, shifting in the chair to get more comfortable. And closed my eyes.
The light was really starting to hurt my head.
IC: Zelnos
Zelnos frowned as he organized the Infirmary records. The school students seemed to be acquiring more and more injuries. He looked over at Fang. Especially, that one there.
"Excuse me, do you mind keeping it down a bit? Some people are trying to rest."
IC: Fang - Infirmary
Fang rolled his eyes at the Rahkshi of Quick Healing. Yeah, like me.
He carefully thought over Exxan's question. There was no moment of sudden action, or a burst of inspiration. He'd just... known. He saw them as weak and vulnerable to the other Rahkshi, and he saw he could do something about it.
"None.. in particular. Let's say... I understand them... Always have."
The weakness. The helplessness. He'd experienced it, and it was not a memory he longed to repeat. Nor did he want others to repeat it for him.
IC: Vlad / The Infirmary-->Halls
Palma having given him the brief care his minor injury required, Vlad was feeling much better. He rose from the bed and strode out of the Infirmary, Ivan following close behind.
Once outside, her came to a stop. He hadn't really decided what he would do when he left the Infirmary. He was considering going to Nynrah for a weapon, bit he feared empowering himself as a warrior might make it easier for him to... slip... and attack another student.
OOC: Vlad open to interaction.
Hey UltimoScorp, I think you missed Jayar asking Kat where everybody went. I shot you a PM hours ago but you haven't read it.
IC: Squid
Squid listened to Suvak's responses to his answers for the assignment, and was pleasantly surprised. The first one, Squid agreed was not very feasible to pull off. The second one would probably work. But before long, Squid's thoughts went back to the pyromaniac Rahkshi again. What if he acted up again on a larger scale? Squid would need to intervene to prevent more damage. But where could he get fire-proof armor, or fire-proof anything? He thought for a while, before the answer came to him.
The Ghosts. And he had been kind to the Matoran during the last assignment, so he might have a chance of getting fire protection if he did some favors.
Squid put down his book, grabbed his knapsack, and flew out of the Library towards Phantom on the Water.
OOC: Is Squid approved to get some form of fire protection?
IC: Omega
Omega's back felt at least a little better. He got up. "I'll be right back." He said. There was something he needed. And there was only one person he knew who could make it. He limped around the hallways until he found who needed. "Hey Recoil. Long time no see." He said with a grin.
IC: Recoil and Omega
"Hey Omega, what's up?" Recoil asked. "Nothing much. Hey, um do you have the time for a project?" Omega asked. "Sure. We can get started now, if you want." Recoil said, starting to head for her dorm. "Alright." Omega said, smiling. They arrived at her dorm and Omega drew out the schematics for his new weapon.
IC: Exxan - Infirmary.
"That's... extremely unhelpful," Exxan sighed, "but if you don't want to talk about it, that's fine."
IC: Silencer
Leaving Illusive to talk to with Vector, Silencer went on ahead back to their dorms. He'd made a rough start on their schematics, but that part of the plan was secondary to the main objective: win back the Matoran. He dug under his bed, pulling out a box filled with some of the more intact naming day decorations, among them the giant star that had been torn off the temple roof. He'd kept them as souvenirs, but now they might make a decent peace offering.
He picked up a notebook and wrote up a quick letter, before flying, with the box in his hands, back over the Causeway. He landed on the outskirts of the village, being almost immediately spotted by a group of Matoran. He quickly put the box down, and flew back towards Corpus Rahkshi.
* * *
One of the Matoran cautiously approached the box, half expecting it to explode. But when she saw what was inside, she was taken by surprise. Why would the return the decorations they had helped to steal and destroy? She found the note, picked it up, and opened it to see what it said.
We are sorry for what we were made to do. It was not personal. We're more scared of Tridax than we are of you.
In time, I hope our peoples can learn to trust each other again.
Thinking this over for a few moments, the Matoran rushed back to her hut, grabbing some materials and scribbling a quick reply on another sheet of paper. She darted back out to where other Matoran were already redistributing the stolen goods, and used a small knife to pin the note onto a tree trunk, where hopefully the Rahkshi would see if it or when it returned.
IC: Fang - Infirmary
Exxan sounded so disappointed. For a moment, Fang considered telling him, finally explaining why he was so stalwart in his beliefs. But as he looked up again, he saw that familiar striped carapace, the one that had stood over him as he fell. The Rahkshi who opposed his every ideal and could very well be called his worst enemy. This was no mere therapy session. It was a probe for information, feeling at the stronghold to search out every little crack and exploit it. He did not need to know.
Fang's face hardened as he sat back once more and replied "No."
Omega was finally feeling well enough to walk. Kat was already up and moving. If he could just have a few moments of peace instead of all of this agitation, perhaps he could be up as well.
IC
Several bowls of gruel later, the desert-coloured rahk was prowling the hallways. He had missed the last assignment, a quick look-see into the library told him that. A shame, but it can't be helped
Campus seemed rather quiet, in no small part due to the assignment he was sure. Probably a good time to train
One training session at the gym later, he mentally checked off where he'd been; Refectory, Library, Gym, Dorms. Feeling a little lonely, he decides to visit the Infirmary, maybe the Screamrahk he had brought in a while ago was better, or perhaps he'd just read their anatomy books. He had found a couple good ones there that weren't in the library proper before, karz, maybe there'll be someone friendly to chat with!
He opened the door to the infirmary, finding a huddle of rahks around a bed. Looked like Omega and Exxan were present, and the rahk in the bed was Fang...
Scanning his memory, he couldn't recall Fang or why he'd be in the hospital, so he walked to Exxan. Clapping him on the back in a friendly manner.
"Any of my advice get through your thick carapace?"
IC: Omega
The product was done quickly. Recoil already had two spare zamor launchers and she simply fused both of the barrels together and added a pump action and a trigger. They then tweaked it look better and added the finishing touch: Forge-Biter. It was on the front as a sort of bayonet. He tested the launcher and it worked perfectly. The only problem was that it was slower to reload than even a regular launcher and the range was decreased quite a relatively big amount. They sprayed it a nice red camoflage color. "Thanks a lot for this Recoil." Omega said, smiling. "No problem." She said back. Omega slung the shotgun over his shoulder and went back into the infirmary, a grand smile on his face.
IC: Exxan - Library.
"You..." Exxan said tonelessly, whirling on the Rahk who'd tapped his shoulder. "Is there any particular reason you're acting so... jovial?"
IC
"You?" Cauotchouc said with great amounts of inflection, staring at the Rahk who had whirled around after a shoulder tap. "Is there any reason I wouldn't be acting jovial? Specifically, I was doing so because I mistook you for Omega here!" His arm, previously perched on the tiger striped Rahk stretched to Omega, patting his back in turn. With Exxan still between them he spoke to Omega.
"So, did my advice get through that thick carapace of yours?"
IC: Omega
"It helped a little, yes." Omega said, sitting back down on the bed.
IC: Exxan - Infirmary.
Exxan gave Caoutchouc a flat stare. "How the karz did you get me confused for him? We're nothing alike, at all." Frankly, he was insulted by Caoutchouc's blatant stupidity. "I'm a level three Vacuum Rahkhi with stripes and spines. Omega is a level two magnetism Rahkshi with no stripes, and no spines." He decided not to bother asking why Omega no longer had any spines. He had a big enough headache as things were.
OOC: Last I recall, Melody was leaving to go to her dorms.
IC: Abyssium
"Okay, Melody. Come find me when you're rested." As Melody left and Abyssium turned around, he noticed that Torch was gone. "Karz!" he muttered before speaking loud enough to get the attention of those near him, but remaining slightly quiet. It was, after all, a library. "Did anybody see where Torch the pyro went?"
IC: Anubissium
Anubissium approached Era. "So, what's the plan of attack? Or is the plan attack?"
OOC:
Sil, Abyssium asked Torch if he would willingly surrender his weapons to Abyssium.
Ultron, will something happen with our graded responses, or do we need to just pick them up whenever? Is the mission now over, or do you still have something else planned?
IC: Era - Visorak Hunt.
"Well, that really depends on whether Mahrika is right about the Visorak or not. We'll go to where he says he saw them, and look around, I guess. If we find any Visorak, we'll try to talk to them, I guess."
IC: Anubissium
"Does anyone here know Visorak language? And where are they supposed to be?"
IC: Silencer.
Silencer returned to the island a half-hour later. His peace offering had already been taken, and a note had been left pinned to a tree in its place. Some of us might understand, it said, but others will not, like those who attacked your friends yesterday.
He'd suspected as much. He took the note with him as he returned to Corpus, where he quickly swung by his dorm, gathering the vials of liquid he'd gathered after the previous day's fight before heading back to the mainland. He didn't go back to the village straight away. Instead, he ventured into the Cauldron, scrounging up as much smuggled food as he could find. After adding the secret ingredient, he gathered it all up and headed towards Phantom-on-the-Water.
It was time to settle things.
IC
"Level two magnetics rahkshi?" His visage stretched into a grin, made more disturbing by his malleable molecular makeup. He had already heard about Omega's level up, but... Revealing it now wouldn't be good enough. He'd rather hear it from Omega himself or give it more time, sure that Exxan's reaction would only get better as the news aged
"Yes, it was an obvious mix up looking back. I guess I must be unobservant."
IC: Omega
"Exxan...I have a confession to make." Omega giggled. "Fang wasn't the only rahk to level up." Omega said.
IC: Jayar / The Library-->The Infirmary
He walked over to Kat and asked her, "Where did Hoto and the others go?"
IC Kat: As Exxan and the others talked amongst themselves(Way to go Omega, proud of you) I noticed Jayar had been trying to ask me a question.
"Oh, hey! Sorry, They uh.... they went to Nynrah. Something about Visorak."
