IC: Exxan - Infirmary.
Exxan took a deep breath in, and let it out slowly. "Of course," he sighed, "I should have known." He started to walk away; he was done here. He only paused long enough to spit out a few more venom-laced words:
"I'll let Phogen know which side you picked, Omega."
IC: Omega
"I picked no sides Exxan. If you'd listen to HOW I leveled up then maybe you'd change your mind." Omega said.
IC: Exxan.
But the Vacuum Rahkshi was already gone.
IC: Omega
" fuarrrrrkkkkkkk!" Omega yelled. "Now I'm gonna be branded as a traitor. Great. Won't even listen to me for one second."
IC Catatonic:
"Cool it, Omega. You'll be fine. If what I know about Phogen is true, they'll likely listen to you if you tell them. And hey, if he doesn't, well...." I smiled a little. "You've got us, after all."
IC
"Ha! That was a great reaction!"
Omega seemed perturbed by the turn of events, "cheer up, you'll be fine!" well, unless he pisses Exxan off again, that Rahk has got to have a breaking point
IC: Omega
"You're right. It's just..nobody has seen Phogen for a while. That means Exxan is in charge of that lot. And knowing him, he's not going to allow traitors go unpunished. He has some of the most dangerous rahkshi in that group."
IC Mahrika
Nyrah Beach by Chirox Causeway, Visorak Hunt
"Talk to them? Whether or not they're here specifically in regard to us, I doubt Tridax taught any Visorak our language. And if they're wild, they'll probably attack simply in self defense."
IC: Bullseye and Stronghold/Nynrah/Looking for Visorak
They followed the group. Bullseye began to subconsciously load an arrow on his bow, ready to fire at a Visorak...or anything else.
"They sometimes may hide in cover or prowl around in open ground depending on their type. We shouldn't take any chance around Visorak if they are feral though. I suggest we partner up."
IC: Toxin/Library
He facepalmed. How could the "guards" let their "immate" get away?
"Torch probably did two things. He either went back to his dorm to hide his tools and stuff, or he left for the Cauldron to see if he can hide them away or something. Let's go and check his dorm."
OOC: Last post today, just assume that Toxin follows Abyssium to wherever.
IC: Fang - Infirmary
Fang smiled through his apparent unconsciousness. Exxan was a tough one to crack, and to be honest, he was disappointed with the reaction. At least he could finally get some rest. Before he could allow that, he whispered out "Yes... you've always... got us."
IC: Hoto - Nynrah
It grated on Hoto's nerves to be walking so slowly. Everyone was being so cautious, and that meant moving at a Kraata's pace apparently. She'd long since given up trying to search into the forest lining the coast. Though her "vision" could pierce the forest's probable darkness, they would see a Visorak long before she did with all that vegetation. So she was stuck in the middle of the group, doing absolutely nothing.
She couldn't take it any more. With a quick leap, she shot into the air and flew off to the head of the group. Era and Mahrika were there, talking strategy. What was the use of strategy if you never got to where you would need to use it? So she flew past and dropped to the sand ahead, taking off at a run. "I'll scout ahead!" she called back, not waiting for an answer. She could handle herself.
IC: Root - Dorms to Refectory
Their previous companion was not to be found in the Dormitories. The next place to search would be the Refectory, with all of its deplorable smells and even more deplorable sustenance. All Rahkshi had to eat sometime, even if it was putrid slop.
OOC: Root open to interaction.
IC: Abyssium
"I'm seriously starting to lose all sympathy for this guy," Abyssium growled as he and Torch ran to the dorm wing, hoping to catch Torch. "He's not here!" Abyssium yelled as they entered and saw it empty. "Toxin, lead me to the Cauldron," Abyssium said as they flew out the window.
OOC:
Feel free to have other guards follow him and Toxin.
IC: Deadeye
Deadeye kept struggling, but he was much too tired to get out of the bonds. Oh it, I'll sleep here. Deadeye thought to himself.
IC: Era - Visorak Hunt.
"We have to try," Era said defiantly to Mahrika, "now could you please show us the way?" But then Hoto shot by overhead, interrupting her. "Hoto, wait!" Era started to run after her, Zivon clinging tightly to her shoulder. If these Visorak were hostile... she didn't want to think about that.

IC: Silencer.
He soon reached the village and began walking down the main street, making sure everyone saw him. If anything would draw out the mob, this would. Sure enough, an angry-looking crowd of armed Matoran soon trundled into view, all of them looking right at him. "What are you doing back in our village?" one of them, the apparent ringleader, snarled.
Silencer could understand the Matoran just fine, but he knew the opposite was unlikely. He offered out a scrap of paper, upon which he'd written the words "Make amends."
The Matoran snatched away the paper, read it, scrunched it up and callously tossed it aside. "Get the ###### out of here!" he spat. "You terrorised our village. You can't make up for that!"
Silencer said nothing, but held out the box of food he'd gathered from the Cauldron. The leader of the mob seemed to consider it for a moment, then lowered his weapon and roughly yanked the box out of the Rahkshi's hands. "Now get out." His tone had softened, but not by much. Silencer nodded slowly, as if dejected, and slowly walked back towards the Causeway.
Looking back over his shoulder, he saw to his immense satisfaction that the mob were already dividing up the food, helping themselves and celebrating as if they'd just scored some kind of huge victory. He started flying. He needed to get the schematics and hurry back. He knew the mob wouldn't trouble him any further.
Into the food he mixed ten vials of level two Lerahk venom, courtesy of Toxin. It wouldn't kill the Matoran, but it would give them all one karz of a stomachache. They'd think twice about troubling any more Rahkshi.

IC: Xara - Infirmary.
Xara limped into the infirmary, fluid dribbling from her leg wound. "What did I miss?" she asked, realising she'd wandered into some kind of argument, or perhaps the aftermath of one.

IC: Exxan - Gym.
Exxan was proud of himself. He hadn't eviscerated Omega on the spot - an excellent display of self control. But he was seething with anger. Now he had not one, but two enemies who had allied together and risen to his level. Since Squid didn't look to be picking a side anytime soon, Exxan knew he and Phogen would have to be more vigilant than ever in their works.
He sighed. He'd never wanted any of this. But he had it now, and he had to take the good and the bad as it came.
He entered the gym and stormed out into the middle of the room. He needed to break something, or someone. "Come on!" he roared, and the gym responded, forming up a series of Rahkshi-shaped targets around him. He drew a knife and flung it at the nearest target, using his level three powers to accelerate the knife, causing it to rip a ragged hole straight through the target's chest. He laughed. If only he could do the same to Omega.
OOC: Exxan open for sparring in the gym - If. You. Dare.
IC: Omega
"I gotta...go test out this new launcher." Omega said, leaving and heading to the gym. He looked around and saw Exxan going all try hard on the targets. He grinned. It was time to settle this. "Do you feel lucky, punk?" Omega said, pulling back the pump on his launcher and pulling it back up again.
IC: Exxan - Gym.
Exxan stopped, hearing Omega's voice. He turned slowly to face him, the targets dissolving away behind him. "I've been waiting for this," he said with a snarl. He bent down and picked up his dropped knife, sliding it into his open satchel with the others, in easy reach. He drew Blossom in one hand, and his staff in the other.
"You first."
IC: Omega
Oh he didn't know the half of it. Omega drew some rock from crumbled pillars from earlier spars and made a rocky, spiky armour plating suit. He fired his launcher at Exxan, the two zamor spheres flying towards him.
IC Catatonic: I looked up to see of all people, Xara, come limping in, asking what had happened.
"Oh, you know. Exxan. Fang. Omega. They just had a chat. What happened to you, Xara? did someone finally get a hit on you?" I asked with a smirk.
Truth be told, If I had to choose anyone to have my back in fist fight, it'd be Xara.
Which reminded me, I really needed to get a ranged weapon. Scourge didn't count.
OOC: The gym is made from the same self-repairing sentient stone as the rest of the school. There wouldn't be rubble lying around.
IC: Exxan - Gym.
Exxan twisted sideways, narrowing his profile, before sending a blast of air towards the two flying Zamors. Flying side by side as they were, the air blast forced a wedge between the two crystal projectiles, sending both off course. They flashed by Exxan on either side, and he started moving again, throwing the knife in his hand right at Omega's chest.

IC: Xara - Gym.
"I get hit... very occasionally." Xara confessed. "Have you ever been stabbed with a knife coated in Lerahk poison? It isn't fun."
IC: Hoto - Nynrah
Hoto grinned when she caught Era following her. They didn't need anyone else, not when all the others would just wander around and debate on action without taking any. The sand felt so good under her feet, and the brisk coastal wind was blowing through her armor. She slowed down just a bit reluctantly to let Era catch up.
IC: Root - Refectory
At yonder table! There lie a Rahkshi of Density Control! Root charged off towards them and jumped onto the seat across. The words were flying out of his mouth before he could touch the chair.
"D-D-Deadeye is after y-y-you! B-b-be c-c-careful!"
It was only once his message was delivered that Root realized he had made a grave mistake. This was not the Density Control Rahkshi from before. Their armor was large and bulky, appearing to be a patchwork of various pieces added on for extra intimidation.
"I-I-I ap-p-pologize. Y-y-you are n-not the R-R-Rahkshi I s-s-seek."
OOC: It's Wraith Punch Kick Raith. ![]()
OOC: Best listening for this fight http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yrvbsNlOtoA
IC: Omega
Omega had slung his launcher on his back and had drawn both of his axes, swinging one of them and knocking the knife away. He ran at Exxan, trailing the axes on the ground, making scratches.
IC: Era - Visorak Hunt.
"Where are you running off to?" Era demanded, catching up to her friend. "I can understand being eager to prove yourself, but running literally blindly into a possible trap is not the way to it. We don't know what sort of Visorak we might be up agaisnt."
IC: Exxan - Gym.
There was just one problem with Omega's plan: the knife Exxan had thrown was Blossom.
The moment Omega's axe hit it, a cloud of illusory petals exploded into life, enveloping the magnetism Rahkshi. Exxan reacted immediately, drawing three of his normal knives from his satchel and throwing them at the cloud, using a burst of air to make them fly even faster. Because the petals were an illusion, the air wouldn't effect them; Omega would never see the knives coming...
IC Kat:
"Ouch, yeah, that stuff is awful. So how did that happen?" I asked gesturing to her leg.
IC: Omega
2 of the knifes skimmed his suit, leaving scratches. The last one hit him right in the arm, going deep. He growled and yanked it straight out, his anger fueling him. After the illusion had gone, Omega charged straight at Exxan.
IC: Hoto - Nynrah
"Like I said: scouting." She sounded pleased with herself. "I'm not waiting around for you all to figure out a plan. Let's just find these Visorak and get out of here. Nobody here is as worried about them as Mahrika is."
IC: Xara - Infirmary.
"Oh, a bunch of jerks thought it would be fun to gang up on me," she smiled cruelly, "they didn't have nearly as much fun as I did."
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________
IC: Era - Visorak Hunt.
"That was my plan as well. But running in alone is just stupid." Era said pointedly. "I think Mahrika's paranoid too, but that doesn't mean I'm going to take any stupid risks. You don't have to prove yourself to anyone. We already know you're capable."
______________________________________________________________________________________________________
IC: Exxan - Gym.
The Vacuum Rahkshi was waiting for him with another surprise. Readying his staff to block Omega's axes, he focused his powers on the four fallen knives, pulling them back towards himself - and at Omega, who just happened to be in right in their way.
IC: Omega
Every single one of those knives hit their mark.....but Omega still had his rocky armour. A couple hurt a little with the armour but the other two just stuck in the armour. Omega shoved Exxan and immediately drew his launcher and fired again.
IC: Hoto - Nynrah
"I'm not trying to prove myself! I'm just... impatient with all of this. And besides," she added with a smirk, "I'm not alone anymore."
IC Mahrika
Nyrah Beach, Visorak Hunt
Mahrika scowled as he watched Hoto return to the ground far up the beach, seemingly oblivious to the worry of her companions.
"That was a terrible idea," he growled once he'd caught up with her. "I don't read fiction much, but even I know that in every scary legend the first thing the characters always do is split up, and then they get eaten by mist spirits or something. Seriously, we have to stay as a group." He turned back to Bullseye, Stronghold and Anubissium. "Hey, you all still following?"
OOC: Herding Rahkshi is like herding cats. ![]()
OOC: I'm just going to ignore that autohit.
IC: Exxan - Gym.
As soon as Omega reached once more for his Zamor launcher, Exxan backed off, away from the attempted shove. He dived away from the flying Zamors and landed in a clumsy roll, before lurching to his feet and swinging his staff at Omega's head.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________
IC: Era - Visorak Hunt.
"You devious..." Era was impressed, "...did you know I'd come after you?"
OOC: It wasn't intened to be an auto hit...but ok.
IC: Omega
Omega ducked under the staff and shot his launcher again at Exxan.
IC Kat: I laughed, "let me guess, a bunch of onesies, fresh out of the tube? They're all so cocksure."
I paused a moment.
"Then again, weren't we all....?" I asked to no one in particular..
Patting the empty chair beside me, I cheerfully spoke once more, "Pull up a seat, poor Palma's having another busy day."
IC: Hoto - Nynrah
"Well, it doesn't matter much now." Hoto crossed her arms as the rest of the group approached. "I'm fine. Let me know when you see your 'mist spirits.' Meanwhile, I'm going to be hunting your Visorak." She started off again a little slower. No one appreciates the need to just get this done.
OOC: Correction: Herding blind Rahkshi is like herding Shallows Cats. Not only will they run away, but they might kill you when your back is turned.
Not literally, of course.
IC: Xara - Infirmary.
"Ones and a few twos," Xara nodded, gratefully slumping down into the chair that had been offered to her.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
IC: Exxan - Gym.
The effort it took for Omega to duck the blow and bring his heavy launcher around for another shot gave Exxan ample time to step out of line of fire and, still maintaining the inertia of his last swing, hack brutally at the back of Omega's leg.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
IC: Era - Visorak Hunt.
"Don't worry," Era assured the rest of the group, "I'll keep an eye on Hoto... metaphorically speaking..."
IC: Omega
You , that hurt. Omega attempted to grab Exxan's head and smash it down, his leg bleeding.
IC: Exxan - Gym.
"Two hands for beginners!" Exxan taunted, using a blast of air to push himself away from the floor even as Omega tried to push him down towards it, giving himself enough time to pull his head free of Omega's grip. As he pulled back, he swung out again, aiming for Omega's ribs.
IC: Omega
This time, he was ready for him and he swerved out of the way, attempting to grab Exxan's arm.
OOC: Thank you.
IC: Exxan - Gym.
He tried to pull away, but was an instant too slow; Omega's claws raked a series of rough gouges in the armour of his upper arm. Painful, annoying, but not fatal. He stumbled backwards, using his powers to pull the four knives back into his hand. He sheathed the three normal knives and held Blossom at the ready, preparing himself for Omega's next move.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
IC: Silencer - Phantom-on-the-Water
Silencer soon returned, noting that there was no longer any sign of the mob. It seemed the poison had done its work. He found a weaponsmith and showed him the schematics he had meticulously drawn up, with annotations and explanations clearly written in the Matoran language. He left the two Zamor launchers in the Matoran's capable hands and waited for the work to be complete.
IC: Omega
Omega dived into a tackle, putting his "shotgun" on his back.
IC: Exxan - Gym.
Exxan stepped calmly aside, letting the diving Rahkshi fly past him to (presumably) faceplant painfully into the floor.
He turned around, swinging his staff downwards at Omega.
IC: Omega
Omega landed directly beside Exxan and the staff hit him in the head. His vision flickered but he rolled over and drew his "shotgun", firing at a very close range.
