Ic:If kreigero had a surprised look on her face, none could see it through her kaukau's visor as she asked, "did voima take it?".
IC (Voi, Ko-Koro Inn):"Yeah. And he has the next clue. He's going to Onu-Wahi next, I think. That's how much we managed to find out from the smashed tablet. We need to follow him and stop him."
Ic:"When do you leave here?"IC (Voi, Ko-Koro Inn):"Yeah. And he has the next clue. He's going to Onu-Wahi next, I think. That's how much we managed to find out from the smashed tablet. We need to follow him and stop him."
IC:Perfectly matched. Not a word was uttered, not a sound was heard, nor could be heard, thanks to the field of silence around the pair, protecting both the combatants from feeling the pain caused by loud noises. Their blades clashed at extraordinary speed, darting to meet each other seemingly of their own accord. Neither of the Toa broke eye contact at any point, as if their constant glare could somehow burn their opponent from within. This dull swordfight did not last long - Desuka was the first to find an opening, stepping back and splitting open the eerie silence with an equally bizarre sound, which was soon muffled when Kuhrin dug his face from the icy ground and swung his sword in a downward arc, sending vibrations rippling through the snow, causing Desuka to fall to the ground too. Both Toa then scrambled to their feet, Kuhrin quickly tackling Desuka and sending both rolling down a bank, clawing and punching at each other, desperate to do do as much harm to their foe as possible. Their swords were left at the top, abandoned for now. With pure luck, Desuka rolled Kuhrin over him and directly into a rock, bringing their trip to the bottom of the slope to an abrupt close. Again, they hastily got on their feet, Kuhrin drawing his shield and Desuka his Kardas Dagger, with which he played an improvised and not-very-spectacular tune, but it did the job, blasting the other Toa of Sonics back. But the shield had protected him when he needed it, bringing a small smirk to Kuhrin's face as he charged his enemy with the shield before he could bring the dagger back to his lips, sending the silver-armoured Toa into a backwards roll over the boulder.Kuhrin, the sly smirk still plastered across the corner of his face, peered round the edge of the boulder, only to have Desuka's hands clapped over his mouth and nose, preventing him from breathing. Desuka, teeth gritted, swung his former friend down into the snow, pressing down with his hands, relentlessly attempting to send Kuhrin into unconsciousness. But then something horrifying happened.Seconds from fainting, Kuhrin's mask began to glow. Storm clouds blocked out the sun, lightning flashed across the sky, and the Toa of Sonics himself transformed into the all-too-familiar form of Toa Kopaka."NO!"A bright flash of light. A feeling as if he was falling.Desuka opened his eyes. There had been no storm, no Kopaka, no flash of light. It was all an illusion. The Toa found he was lying on his back, a note pressed into his hand, which read:
:r:Brother. Brother. He had the nerve to call him brother.Dseuka sighed, and got to his feet. He hadn't killed him.
IC(Meja): The outside of the Ko-Koro Sanctum was beautiful. It was a tall building, covered in ice and snow. She never got to see the inside though. With the Turaga missing, their last whereabouts have been closed off to the public. It was disappointing, but at least she got to see the outside. She decided to see if the way to Mount Ihu was clear. It was a mood-killer. The guard told her that, "The way is too windy. No chance of going up." Meja could have just changed the winds, being a Toa of Air, but she remembered her first time with the powerful winds of Ko-Koro.
IC (Voi, Ko-Koro Inn):"As soon as possible."
ICTrad : Hello? Why not now? And if you plan on staying or going or whatever, help me get back into my body since I can't do- wait a minute. Did I try it?"Trad used Possess on Voi!"Ire: I'll check the storm. "She walks to the door and opens it, looking around." It seems to be lessening up.
IC: TirraUnder a certain Toa of Sonic's feet, a small sound could be heard. To a normal being, it would be unoticable. But being connected to sound like Dseuka was; he would clearly be able to hear "HELP!" coming from under his feet.A small Noble Ruru poped out of the snow, and Tirra glared at the Toa of Sonics.OOC: Wot, there you are. ![]()
IC:"Woah there, sister!" Desuka couldn't help but cry out as a green Ruru almost knocked him off balance, "Let me help you out..." he bent down, first attempting to pull her by the mask, then, realising that was futile, got to trying to dig her from the snow.
IC: Tirra The miniture-Toa climbed out of the hole Dseuka had dug and muttered, "All you big people, never watching where you're walking...""You almost killed me!"That was a bit far from the truth, but Tirra was in a bad mood from just getting burried. "And what the Karz were you doing? Randomly falling onto a person who was trying to relax, that's what!"
IC, Aurax: "I guess you are right, Lekua... but now we must think of a way to get the last clue. I was thinking should return to Ta-Koro and search for something there- it was Kapura's home Koro, after all. Maybe he left something behind that might help us."OOC: Yeah, I'm stumped right now. ![]()
IC:While Kohra was talking to Van Paikish, there was one part of her mind that had not focused on the male Vortixx sitting across the table from her. A part that was going through idea after idea, discarding one for another, arguing back and forth with itself on how to go about the next part of her plan, to show the Matoran that even remote Ko-Koro was not safe. Of course, the master had driven that point home rather forcefully already. He had made an example of the Turaga already in such a manner, that she could not hope to recreate the devastating emotional effect it had on the population of the village of ice. Yet her task remained the same and she would proceed with the cunning and care she had used in Po-Koro to poison their water and the same careful planning that had led to the flooding of the great mine. Finally, she settled on an idea. It would require deception and some preparation...but very few resources. As the plan began to materialize in her mind, the casual smile she wore for Paikish broadened, ever so slightly...OOC: Having a character who's already sharing a mental-link with the big evil makes talking to herself while having actual small-talk pretty small-time. But it allows me to advance her plot without standing up from the table ^^
IC:"To be fair, you are very small." he decided not to press on that subject for very long, "I was actually trying to defend the island. How did you get to be so tiny, anyway?"
IC: TirraShe shrugged, before proceeding to sharpen one of her knives on Dseuka's armored boot. "Oh, you know, Kanohi malfuntion; normal stuff," Tirra answered, tapping her mask with her free hand.
IC:Nichou thought for a moment. "Maybe Jaller would know; Kapura was in the guard, and the Captain of the Guard would never let any enemy know his secrets, so Kapura, fearing his capture, might have told jaller as a failsafe"IC, Aurax: "I guess you are right, Lekua... but now we must think of a way to get the last clue. I was thinking should return to Ta-Koro and search for something there- it was Kapura's home Koro, after all. Maybe he left something behind that might help us."OOC: Yeah, I'm stumped right now.
IC: ReaverThe vines did catch her... around her neck. She dangled from the ledge, slowly suffocating. The lack of oxygen made her start to hallucinate. A blue toa entered stood in front of her, reaching out, but just falling short.'Emotia.....'Her head went limp, and she fell unconscious. She was alive, but barely.IC - Yuru - LedgeYuru threw his arm over the ledge, almost looking like a lover desperately attempting to stop his love from falling to her death. As if the world was a sad story and he was the tortured protagonist. Then reality kicked in and vines jumped out from the side of the ledge. They reached for her legs, her arms, her head... Anything to bring her back to the ledge. Killing Utu would be a serious problem. Besides, they needed every Mark Bearer for his plan to work.
IC - Yuru - Ledge"That's what you get for trying to play hard ball.""Emotia's not here." He leapt down, a small tree breaking his fall. He released her, catching her in his arms, only to let her fall in the snow. A thick, damp tree grew rapidly from the ground. Yuru sliced it in half, and a cool stream of water poured onto her face. She would awake with a sword pressed to her throat.
IC: ReaverThe icy water woke her with a jolt. She felt the cold protodermis agains her neck, and looked into Yuru's eyes. 'Care to explain the sword, buddy boy?'
IC - Yuru - Ko-Wahi"Mind explaining why you attacked us?" he retorted ferally. His sword had not moved.
IC: Reaver'The Mark. It told me to. It gave me these.' She held up her Talon Blades. 'It made me think I could do anything, become the leader of this little group, take over the island. I guess I can't.' She sighed. 'I'm sorry.
IC: Utu - Ko-WahiUtu just looked down on Reaver. He pitied her."Disobey me again, and I might almost kill you," Utu spat with a smile, "The only reason I don't, is the tattoo on your arm."He turned around again, "We found something."
IC: ReaverShe shoved the sword away, and stood upright. 'What is it?'
IC: Utu - Ko-WahiUtu motioned to Tank and the Toa he held, "Our little friend there had a book. Apparently it's written by the being that gave us these."
IC: ReaverHer heart skipped a beat, shocked with this revelation. 'I... I never doubt your abilities, Sir,' she said, going down on one knee, falling back into her old ways.
IC - Yuru - LedgeYuru stood back, his sword slipping into its sheath. He crossed his arms. He rolled his eyes at Reaver's subservience. Did he not deserve credit? Was he not the one who brought Reaver to the truth? And yet he was the one who did the dirty work. It was pathetic, really.
IC:"I... See..." Desuka muttered. He had never seen anything quite like this before, "Here, climb on to my shoulder. We can walk and talk." the Toa bent down and offered her his hand.OOC: Only in the BZPRPG ![]()
IC:KASHZZZ!"Ow.... What happened? Oh. The field of life that surrounds everyone pushed me back!" yelled Trad.
IC: The first thing that told Knife something had gone wrong was that she no longer heard the rustling of fabric on armor behind her.The second thing that told Knife something had gone wrong was that in its place was the sound of a matoran hitting the ice floor. The toa whirled around, cloak flying. She drew the weapon she was named for and scanned the room. The third thing that told Knife something had gone wrong was a whispered "Oooooh" of ecstasy. Before her laid Edge with eyes rolled back into head, schoolgirl's skirt and blouse only half on-and a giant slug sliding onto the back of her neck.
IC-Beatha:Beatha limped through the snows of Ko-Wahi, though he kept an aura of heat around himself so that he wouldn't end up freezing. He had stopped in Ko-Koro, asking about the large Titan, Krayzikk. All they did was tell him about some school far out in the snow.Which set Beatha off on the path he was on.He had bought a dark cloak which he kept wrapped around himself, warding off the cold. Even with his element, his keeping it hotter than Mangai around him, it was still much too cold. Something about Ko-Wahi, always cold, all the time. No matter what you did.He stopped for a moment, leaning on his Naginata. He looked around, seeing nothing but walls of white. Everywhere. Snow blowing to the point where he could barely see the blade of his Naginata. He growled, the heat around him increasing, creating a slight updraft. Snow blew around, and out of his sight.Looking around himself, finally able to see, Beatha noticed the school, about...oh, a quarter of a kio from him. He sighed, beginning to walk straight for the building as the snow built up again.OOC: He's here!
IC (Henkka, Nothingness):Trad? Can you hear me?IC (Voi, Ko-Koro Inn):"Um, yeah, should we, like, leave already? Everyone?"
IC:The sounds of fighting. Of a bloody battle. The Matoran of Plasma pummeled his fists into the dangling punchbag, rocking it with a creak at each impact."Walker! Garme! Where are you?!"The chains holding the punchbag up began to weaken as the unrelenting torrent of fists threatened to tear the whole thing from the ceiling."Get off me you creep! Makuta can shove it up his-" a punch sends him to the floor, blood leaking from between his lips. The Matoran runs... Catches a bullet in his leg... Ignores the pain... Just keeps running...The memories spurred him on, to keep punching, keep jabbing his fists into a seemingly unbreakable target.Hunted by them... Only one way out... Sanctum Guardsmatoran search through the wreckage, finding nothing except-"Mata-Nui, this guy's still alive!"Wrehn! One final punch tore the punchbag off it's chains, sending it crashing to the ground. It took a few seconds for the dust to settle, and when the air was finally clear, the orange Ruru of Wrehn stood out in the bleak, grey prison cell he stood in.He let out a final sigh, and sat down on the slab of rock he was supposed to sleep on.
IC: TirraThe small Toa of Air looked from Desuka, to his hand, and back again. Finally deciding it was safe, and the Toa of Sonics could be trusted; atleast for now; she climbed up onto his hand. Tirra then walked up his arm, climbed over his armor, and sat down on his shoulder."So, where are we going?"IC: Tehlin"Yep, lets go," the Toa of Plantlife said, motioning for the others to come.
IC:The sound being so close to Desuka's ear caused a sharp jab of pain on the left side of his head. He hurriedly muffled her voice, then replied."Wherever he went. A Makuta follower, and once my brother. These footprints should lead us too him, if the wind doesn't start up again."
IC: Tirra"Ok. We better hurry, the snow can cover stuff up fast here," she said, perfectly aware that Desuka was the one doing the walking.
IC:"Uh... Yeah. Yeah, you're right." he ignored the fact that she spoke as if she was in control, and took off through the drifts, following the prints at a light jog."So, how long have you been so... Y'know..."
OOC: lol, that was a derp. Edited post.
IC: Tirra"...Awesome? Don't know, for a while now. Unless you mean something else, in which case I've been like this since I got a Pehkui," she explained, "Which was........ A few years ago."
IC:"Ever thought of taking it off? Or do you like being small? No offence." Desuka replied, cautiously trying to avoid saying something that might strike a nerve.
IC: Tirra"Oh, I could, watch," she said, taking the mask off of her face. Tirra forgot, however, how quickly she returned to normal size. And Desuka was suddenly flattened by a Toa of Air."...Oops..."
IC:Desuka spat out a mouthful of snow and got to his feet, shaking off the largest amounts of snow from his nigh-invisible armour. Helping Tirra to her feet he said, "I hope this is the first time that's happened."
IC: Tirra"Um... Yeah, sorry about that," the Toa of Air said, a bit embaressed."I didn't think it would happen so quickly."
