OOC: OOPSIC FehronFehron locked Shade's armor in place. "I control Iron. That includes your armor." Shade crashed to the ground, unable to move his armor,
OOC: According to nuju, we aren't supposd to know about shadow toa, and Nuju knows all, so apparently we don't. Can you let me know about ame changes since I was last on, and new chars that are interacting/in the hau karda. I just figured out that the lorax is mt ihu.IC: Tangrua."That clears up a bit" he said after Uar's first remark. Then, chayos erupted between dekuna and the vortixx, during which all of nstephenh's characters became horriblt confused.OOC: Someone fill me in.
OOC:We know about the shadow Toa. And we've already explained that Dekuna and Fov are fighting for a weapon.IC:FovFov ducked behind a hut, allowing him to dodge most of the iron shards. The few that he didn't dodge, stabbed him in one arm, and his foot. He grimaced, before shooting Zamor Sphere after Zamor Sphere at Dekuna.
IC: Draeverian Joskiir and Dr. Mihruk"Honestly, I don't see the karkin' point of workin' on this maggotty mask-face any further," Doctor Mihruk said plainly to Zlynn, his gruff skakdi accent coming over even in civil conversation. Perhaps the word 'civil' meant nothing to the doctor, but truthfully, he didn't give a hoto-bug as to what happened to the dumb sap, so long as he got paid for jabbing his elbow back in its socket and seeling up the nearly-deadman's arm. Mirhuk was past his prime, and his defective right leg had destroyed any chances of being a chief back home, or a champion in the ring on this blasted rock of an island. Nonetheless, Mihruk had become a doctor. The pay was good, the food was better, and the patients, well, he could've cared less about his quality of service guarantee. Shaking his head he took the money for healing the toa without a smile or "thank you" and jerked his head in the direction of the door. "Look, you two are wasted space in the waiting room, so just pull up a dumb stool around the mask-face if he means so much to you or leave." Grumbling, Dr. Mihruk left, heading off to some other unfortunate patient he'd been given by the other medical staff. Draeverian lay awake in the bed, mouth slightly agape. His left arm had been recast. Belying the skakdi's rough appearance, he had done an impeccable job stitching the fibers of Draeverian's being bad into opportune shape. However, pain medication was something the doctor had seemed loath to use, and Draeverian's brain was having a hard time getting back to a state of "normal". His mental world of sound waves was horribly distorted. Sounds from the past, the present, and the far off all seemed to meld together into an uncohesive whole threatening to topple into chaos at a moment's notice. Through it all, however, one sound kept resurfacing: Kohra's gait. Nothing he could do would drown out the sound of her walking footsteps, as if she was torturing him even beyond her physical reach. He had nowhere to look, not having eyes to see with played a large part in that, nothing to distract, and so he sat there wallowing in the sharp footsteps of his revenge.
IC: [Arkrak]"So Inc, what now?"
Thanks to FeeFee and Shadow Guardian for keeping Draeverian alive and well... going to time-skip through the recovery. I'm sick of having to keep writing this character as an invalid. :PIC: DJThe lights had left Draeverian a few weeks ago. However, no one seemed too intrigued by the information a blind toa of sound had about the bomber of the great mine. Matoran had, with their incredible ingenuity, funneled most of the damage away from the koro, and reconstruction efforts had been positive, with matoran and toa from all over the island pitching in. However, Whenua had been captured almost immediately after the explosion, and so priority went to getting back the geezer of night vision who had a peculiar love of history that drove Draeverian insane every time they'd met when he was still a matoran. Draeverian flexed his left arm deftly as he stood in the waiting room, pretending to listen to the whatever Dr. Mihruk was lecturing on about. Something about needing to oil my arm, or whatever. Geez, can't the guy see I just wanna' leave?Draeverian would have walked out of the hospital days ago, but the doctor had kept him back in physical rehabilitation -- lifting weights and stretching, along with some top notch body work -- until Draeverian could bench one hundred pounds. It hurt there was a toa who used a mask of healing in the hospital either. I never thought about how useful those kanohi were... Huh. Guess I should look into some self-healing techniques for next time."And don't lift you sword -""You mean Rivet.""No, you're sword you mask-face brakas-skull. It's a sword, not a bolt. ""No, that's her name," Draeverian interjected again against the doctor's train of speech, "Her name is Rivet."What AM I dealing with? Dr. Mihruk thought glumly. Well, at least the sick toa-scum is getting out of my sight. "I don't really care. The point is, don't go swinging around your tuning fork for real for a good month.""Yeah yeah, whatever," Draeverian once again replied in a bored manner, "Can I go now?""Yes, and don"t ever come back, got it?" Doctor Mihruk commented with a harumph.Using his sense of sound-space, Draeverian quickly found the exit, opened the door, and stepped into a world of pickaxes, swinging lantern screeches, and a nose picker standing on the opposite side digging for all they had worth.Well, looks like you're ready to leave this mata-nui forsaken cavern.RIVET! Karz, where have you BEEN? Waiting for you to get smart. He smiled and tapped Rivet lightly on her hilt, walking through the crowded streets towards where he was sure an exit would be, given the sound of wind from the tunnels. Temperature slowly dropped as he moved through the ground, leaving behind the koro, exiting into the outlying wahi. Time passed, degrees continued to fall, and then suddenly there was silence, save for a single sound: "CRUNCH."OOC: DJ to ko-wahi
IC: CikrenShe was barely aware of being in the air, and was drifting into unconsciousness. It was only the force of her will that kept her awake.
OOC: That's right, I did used to be Mt Ihu. I changed not too long ago, but since my toa of air character has been inactive lately, I haven't been tree-speaking very much. I will try to fix that in the future. :PAs for the toa of shadow, we don't exactly know, but the characters can guess. They know that the being who kidnapped Whenua was a toa who had power over darkness. Even though nobody knows shadow is an element, they inferred that this was a good explanation.IC (Dekuna): Dekuna send a defensive vibration at the zamors. He positioned the soundwaves at such an angle that they changed the sphere's courses to the right of him, where they landed harmlessly. He leapt forward and swung his blade at Fov's left side, where the shrapnel had hit.IC (Weta): Weta hurried into Onu-koro, deactivating his mask and resuming his normal appearance. He made his way straight to the hospital, with Cikren still hovering in front of him. "Hello?" he called as he approached. "My injured toa-sister needs to see a well-healer". It was an habit he had never quite kicked to tree-speak when he was anxious.OOC: There you have it - tree-speak!
IC: APC (Anyone's Player Character) Dr. Mihruk"Eh, what ya' mask-faces want?" A large red skakdi said as he sat on the steps leading up to the front doors of the hospital. Large scars covered most of his face, as if some patchwork scientist had strung him back together from the dead, and his right leg was nothing more than a withered stick, yet the doctor moved forwards with a strength denied by the physical reality of his body. A large white coat -- a godly designation of rank amongst the mortals of the puny world -- flapped off one shoulder, more a badge than a garment. Leading Weta into the hospital, he pointed to a room for wounded girl to be placed and staunchly marched off for some rusty needles.
OOC: It's okay, I've done that once or twiceIC: Shade simply smiled. "Yes you control my armour, but can you control my power?" Suddenly, Shade was gone, using his teleporting power to disappear and reappear. Knowing that whatever he threw would probably just get blocked, he disappeared into the shadows, using his power to trigger sound waves around the toa, confusing him, while masking his own sound movements, as he readied himself to unleash a powerful scream and dagger combo.
OOC: ...Ok, who thought of treating her with a mad scientist? Yello, what am I missing here?IC: CikrenThe Toa of Ice opened her eyes. "Where are we?" she asked, hoping Weta was still nearby. All she could really see was a big blurr with another blurr on top of it.
IC (Weta): "You're in the hospital now" he said softly. "Just relax and let the doctors work their magic". He didn't really like the look of the doctor - he looked more ready to kill than to save lives, but he didn't want to say so in front of Cikren. Right now, he thought she needed peace rather than the worry.
IC: CikrenShe nodded, or tried to, and closed her eyes again. "You got the bell, right?" she asked after a while.OOC: Woot! 3,000 posts. :PI must get a cookiee noaw.
OOC: Enjoy your cookie.
And congrats on the milestone.IC (Weta): "I got it" he said, and held it up. He then crushed it with magnetic force into a tiny wrinkled ball of metal. "It won't do any more harm".
IC: Cikren"What was it doing?" she asked, trying not to think that she went through this to get a bell.It wouldn't have surprised her if she had, though.
OOC: Why is Dekuna and Fov fighting again? I forget. IC: Havon - Onu-koro -Havon sighed as he watched Dekuna and Fov fight, it seriously wasn't the time for this.
IC: Tuxedo Mask - Onu-koro -Tuxedo Mask went into the inn as well, he sat down and ordered some tea.IC: IhreyIhrey rolled her eyes as they entered the inn. She didn't care what Arkrak, she was having alcohol. If only to try and soothe the irritation their conversation was causing.
IC: Dr. Mihruk (APC)The hulking monstrosity returned shortly with a strange gun-like contraption. Seeing the reaction on his client's face he grinned and said; "Oh, I wish it did what you just thought. That'd be loverly. But, alas, I don't get paid to kill around here. So, I just retrofit my tech and use it for administering bone movement. A little blast of air there, a little blast of air here" Mihruk pointed his gun at different points on Cikren's body and pulled the trigger as he talked, "And this here mask-face will be good as new. Well, with a few bruises form the compressed air o' course." Reaching for the curtain divider, he began to push Weta outside, his strong hand having gained a firm and crushing grip on the toa's shoulder. "Leave her to me. You go get some of that miner coffee or something and come back soon. The mask-face'll be good as new."
OOC:Because if Dekuna wins he get's a uber cool weapon that will help the Hau Karda in their fight against Makuta?IC:FovThe Vortixx grinned, quickly pulling out the Lightstone Rifle and pointing it at the ground, he pulled the trigger. There was a blinding flash, and Fov lashed out with his blade, planning on shocking Dekuna again.
IC: CikrenThe Toa of Ice just closed her eyes, and hoped she wasn't dead by the time this Skakdi was finished.
IC: IhreyIhrey perched herself by the bar as Tuxedo Mask ordered his tea. She requested something a little stronger.
I.C. Vulcanon was very confused. He had no clue where Shade was.
OOC: Someone please fill me in on what is going on? and did biobeast just basically say "kill off this char and get a cool gun?"IC: "I am completely confused" said Tegam. "What is going on?!?!"OOC: Because if Dekuna wins he get's a uber cool weapon that will help the Hau Karda in their fight against Makuta? IC:Fov The Vortixx grinned, quickly pulling out the Lightstone Rifle and pointing it at the ground, he pulled the trigger. There was a blinding flash, and Fov lashed out with his blade, planning on shocking Dekuna again.
IC: (Uar)"Well, Tegam, Fov offered Dekuna his lightstone rifle, that is, if he can beat him in a duel." Uar explained to the Toa of Magnetism.OOC: In other words, no. BioBeast basically said:"Beat this char in a duel (one not to the death) and get this über-cool weapon."
OOC: o.k. thanks.IC: Tegam"o.k. Thanks"IC: (Uar) "Well, Tegam, Fov offered Dekuna his lightstone rifle, that is, if he can beat him in a duel." Uar explained to the Toa of Magnetism. OOC: In other words, no. BioBeast basically said:"Beat this char in a duel (one not to the death) and get this über-cool weapon."
IC: Right behind the toa of Iron, Shade was ready. Reading his power, he recoiled for a strike, and poured his power towards the toa. Please work, he whispered to himself, unsure of what to do after this. He readied his daggers anyway, and threw them at the skakdi and toa evenly, throwing another sonic blast towards the skakdi.OOC: I should be worn out by now, with element depleted. I'll break off soon, if you let me retrieve a few of my daggers :goofy:
I.C. Vulcanon A dagger pierced him in the shoulder, "OUCH!" he turned around just to get hit by a sonic blast which knocked him about twenty feet backwards and succeeded in making Vulcanon very, very, mad and frustrated. He charged towards Shade half expecting him to teleport out of the way. This was Vulcanon's third fight with a Kualsi wearer.
OOC: Gah...I need to do something with Tuxedo Mask...IC: Tuxedo Mask - Some bar, Onu-koro -Tuxedo Mask decided to sit down in a chair at an empty table, he was there to gather information about criminal activity, people's tongues tended to loosen in bars quite a bit.OOC: Open for interaction...seriously...any kind is welcome.
IC: FehronThe sound waves struck Fehron, disorienting him. "Alright, I've had enough of that mask..." Fehron gave Shade's mask a mental yank, tearing it off his face.OOC: It's okay, I've done that once or twiceIC: Shade simply smiled.
OOC: I'm done, if you don't mind, I'll get my mask and leave.IC: "And I'm done with you!" Shade yelled, using his power to amplify it to a sonic scream. He ran, grabbing as many daggers as he could, then grabbed his mask from the iron toa and ran. "Until next time, toa!" He yelled, running and then teleporting away.OOC: Thanks for a great fight!
IC: (APC) Dr. MihrukDoctor Mihruk smiled wickedly as his patient closed her eyes. This is the best part, when they make their first screams of shock... Ahh... How I love this part of my job. He lumbered closer with the large air-gun and poked a couple times with the barrel in a few tender places. "Eh.. You're not so bad, now are you? Shouldn't 'a bothered coming. It's gonna be one expensive bill, you know." Turning, he washed his hands quickly in a small footpump sink and then began his nefarious work.---too bored to write this sorry --- timeskip sorry----"There, done." Doctor Mihruk proclaimed as he stepped out of the treatment space, pulling back the curtain to reveal a very ashen female toa.
OOC: See ya
I.C. Vulcanon"Ha! Me wins!" Vulcanon boasted completely forgetting about Botan and Fehron. "Uh, where brother go?" Vulcanon wandered off.
OOC: I got yo back, Snells.IC-Aclaraung:Aclaraung, more commonly known simply as Acla, sat down at a small table in a bar, next to another being there. The others stared at him, almost hatefully, some having had friends that died in the Mystix attack at Le-Koro. He didn't care-he had no part in what his 'brothers' did. They could gripe all they want. This being, however, seemed to be different himself. Much more comfortable."Hello," the slightly different Mystix said to the being. "Having a good day?"OOC: Check his profile before you accuse him of being a normal Mystix, please.
IC: Arkrak"So Inc," said Arkrak, taking a sip of tea. "What exactly are we to do now?"
IC: Shade stalked away, clutching his broken arm. "The toa only think they have won. Soon, I will use all my power and speed to insure the destruction of all those around me. The matoran will be mine..." He continued running away, now searching for a medic to heal his woundsOOC: Shade open for interaction..... If you dare.....
IC: Tuxedo Mask - Bar, Onu-koro -Tuxedo Mask looked at the Mystix. The Mystix had a very odd looking head, but then again, this was only the second Mystix he'd ever seen, so it wasn't like he knew that was unusual for their species. "Oh hello. I suppose my day has been alright. How about yours?"
IC-Aclaraung:"The same as usual," the dragon-like Mystix said. He took a small sip of water. "Of course, that is, unless something different happens. Which it never does." He shrugged.
IC: Tuxedo Mask - Bar, Onu-koro -"I see." The mysterious masked Toa said. "Nothing much has been happening since I've been here."
IC-Aclaraung:"Only if you're looking in the wrong place," Aclaraung said wisely to the Toa by him. "I can tell who you are-you're looking for crime. To get in on it or stop it, I don't know, and, frankly, don't care, but you're looking for it." His guarded ears twitched slightly, hearing a noise."You're in the right Wahi, but the wrong place. Nothing interesting happens in the bars." He pointed slightly to the west. "However, a Matoran just died over there. Killed by some renegade Skakdi. I'd recommend going after him if you want some fun," the Mystix finished.NPC-Gluyik:The Skakdi smiled, taking the Matoran's coin purse happily. He peered into it-nearly six-hundred widgets. That was a nice amount. He continued along his way happily, acting as though nothing had happened as he took a different exit from the alley.Aclaraung's ears twitched again. "He's moving to the north-east, towards Le-Koro," the Mystix said.
IC: Tuxedo Mask - Bar, Onu-koro -Tuxedo Mask leaped out of his seat and wordlessly darted out of the Bar, heading exactly where Aclaraung had said the Skakdi was headed.
NPC-Gluyik:Gluyik heard somebody following him, so he turned around quickly, his sword and zamor launcher drawn. "Just who are you?" He growled.Meanwhile, Aclaraung listened from the table as to what would happen. He thanked the barkeep who brought him a glass of cyser, which he began to sip at boredly. Unexpectedly, he sat up, payed for the whole bottle, and stepped outside with it. That way he could watch the fight, listen to it, and drink. He sat at a small outdoor table and sipped at his cyser.
