  • OOC: Let's see how Kohra reacts to that, shall we? ^^IC:Kohra did as she had promised and kept an eye out for obstructions while following the surprisingly determined walking Dravaerian to his home. She had to admit, she was impressed by his keen sense of navigation. Blind as a bat, but still finding his way. A possibly powerful ally, if he could ever be turned to their cause. Kohra almost chuckled at the silly thought. Yet, it remained a good pastime while they were walking across Le-Koro, soon arriving at the De-Toa's humble home. Draeverian made a remark about somebody not being there, while sitting down on the room's bed. She closed the door behind them.Kohra wanted to inquire about this roommate, as it was a loose end. She needed to know if she had to cut any of those before she could proceed with her plan. She was just about to ask the question when she noticed the large Toa tool resting against the wall...and the Toa's hand inching ever closer towards it. Her expression darkened and she lifted her tainted hand, pointing at the tool. It had been some time ago that she had noticed her glove gave her control over telekinesis, to some extent. She had not yet found out, how far it went, but lifting smaller objects was no problem. And neither was keeping heavier ones in place. So when Draeverian's hand closed around Rivet, he found her immovable.Kohra laughed softly once, a cold chuckle, as she slowly walked up to the Toa, still sitting on his bed. She bent forward until her eyes were on the same height as his blindfold. Suddenly he could feel the sharp nails of her hand on his chest. The Vortixx let the fingers of her right hand trail up, until they reached his neck, where she continued to follow his jugular vein, pulling his chin up, until her hand came to rest on the side of his mask."You weren't going to do something stupid, were you?" she asked, her voice like icicles. "You weren't going to misbehave, right?"She let her index-finger wander across the details on the surface of his mask."You know, I was told you would be able to help me with something...the question is: Will you aid me voluntarily? Or will I have to teach a bad boy a lesson?"

  • IC: Experienced as he was, Nokth couldn't help but wince at the brutality that had befallen this being before him. Whoever had killed him meant business, and to send a message. Personally, the Akrainid would have stopped short of the bisection of his foe. Maybe. Then again, it seems that was only the beginning. he mused, as he crouched to examine the body, doing his best to shrug off the pungent odor of rotting flesh, dried blood, and spilt gore that assaulted his keen nostrils. Nothing quite special, all said and done. Just a couple modest pouches of widgets, a sword of fairly average craftsmanship, and a whistle, indicating this person as a member of the Gukko force. He was sure to pocket that, as it'd likely fetch him the most coin on the black market. Gukko force whistles were in reasonably high demand, seeing as they had quite a few uses when dealing with the Rahi.Having taken everything worth taking, the Akrainid opted to now double back and return to Le-Koro. The sooner he left here, the better.

  • IC (Dekuna): "None at all" he replied to the toa of ice. "Makuta is as unpredictabe as the wind. To oppose him, there is no certainty, only guesswork. The Rahkshi attacks have shown us this. They attacked Po-koro and here in Le-wahi, but Makuta's servants have already taken both Tamaru and Hafu." He reflected on this point for a moment. "Only guesswork" he concluded. "We're three steps behind, but we keep resisting. It's all that keeps the island free."He kept walking for a time, then addressed his companion. "Uar, I have an errand in Le-koro. Would you come with me now? It might be important".

Blood flowing. It all happened as he jabbed the Matoran in the gut. His sword passed cleanly through the skin. He didn't even have time to scream as he beheaded him in another strike. Yuru sheathed his sword, threw his cloak over his head, and began walking away. His mark of cruelty was functioning now, glowing like a lightstone. He felt so good... He could do anything. He could kill more Matoran, he could- he heard voices. He couldn't risk being caught. A Le-Matoran spat on another being's hand and walk away. Was that...a mark she had? He took a closer look. • IC: (Uar)"Of course." Uar replied to Dekuna, thinking it pointless to simply sit around and do nothing.

IC (Dekuna): "Good then" Dekuna replied, and led Uar over to a house on the outskirts of the koro, which was unusual in Le koro, because it was built not only of wood and plants, but also iron bars, furnishings, slats and planels, all interwoven with the more traditional building materials. "This looks like the place" he said, pointing to a sign outside. He went and knocked on the door.IC (Matan and Natan): The door was answered by a pair of Skakdi, one green and one grey. "Yes?" the grey one asked gruffly. He was still a bit ticked off at the last pair of beings to walk through the door, and wasn't good at hiding it. Matan was a bit more friendly. "How can we help?" he asked.IC (Dekuna, Matan and Natan): "We need something built" Dekuna replied. "And kept quiet. Can you do that?""Of course" Matan replied. "Come in, and we'll talk in private"The two toa were ushered into a small workshop. Shelves of various machines, whole and half-finished, lined the walls, with some of the larger ones expanding out onto the floor. The workbench was stacked with tools, cogs, screws and other parts. The dimly lit room smelled of cold metal. Both Skakdi took seats an the workbench, and motioned for the toa to find somewher to sit. Dekuna perched on a pile of machinery."Now, toa" Matan began, "What is it you want us to create? Name any machine, and it will be done.""I want you to build me..." Dekuna dropped his voice "... a Rahkshi"The Skakdi's giant jaws both dropped.

Therefore, the Ta-Matoran had decided to get to know the team better. She already knew Trakuda somewhat, so she started with him. He wasn't as intimidating to speak with as the Toa, either.

  • IC:Kohra frowned. The Toa obviously had no clue why she was here. Her hand still lingered on his face, firmly pushing her hard nails against his mask, though not hard enough to injure him...yet. But maybe it was time. A slash to the throat, stab the heart for good measure before making a quiet exit seemed more and more like a good idea.Your contact appears to be worthless, she mentally hissed at the dark passenger.Or you are simply inept, unable to pass even the most minor obstacle, the easiest of tests. What confidence should I put in your abilities if such a simple matter is beyond you? the master shot back, his voice the echo of the void he inhabited."Enough!" Kohra snapped out loud. She placed both hands on Draeverian's face, pulling his head up, while moving her own closer, as if to kiss the Toa. But nothing could have been further from her intentions. There was no warmth in her touch. Her hands were like the talons of a vulture. She spoke again, her lips not an inch away from his face and her voice dangerously low."Listen and listen carefully. I want Valmai paste and the retardant fuses that go with it. I know you have these items. And you will give them to me. Behave and you will live, you will never hear from me again. But if you try to play me, if you do not do as I tell you to, I will skin you alive."She leaned in closer, past his head, her her tickling against his head and whispered in his ear:"I promise."

  • IC: Draeverian JoskiirDrae! Don't freak out on me Drae!...Draeverian was, for the first time in his life, truly scared. His jaw went slack as Kohra mentioned the ingredients of a powerful explosion. What IS she planning on doing, floated through his mind gearing for fearful flight. His brain racked back and forth, reviewing what he'd brought in his bag, and what was left in the cold hut of his in the ice-lands. The Valmai powder was expensive and rare, though a fuse wasn't hard to come by. The most horrid notion of Draeverian's was not about being confronted about the ingredients. It was being confronted by someone knowing he HAD the ingredients."They're not here," He muttered, finally defeated. Sensing a sudden need to save his pitiful life, he swallowed his pride and continued; "They're in my home in Ko-koro."Silence.I guess I have no choice...Drae, don't be a brakas... Don't stick your neck out like that.. Come on --"I can help you," Draeverian said, his tone becoming more resolute. " If it's an explosion you want, I could give it to you without any ingredients: I'm a toa of sound. Sound can blow things up."As the words left his mouth, rippled through the air on their way to Kohra's ears, a single phrase surfaced from the frigid depths of Draeverian's suffering mind:Fear breaks gods

  • IC:The Vortixx made a noise at Draeverian's proposition, a hybrid of laughter and scoffing. However this shed a new light on things. If she took him along he would be a liability. The Toa of sound was not a follower of the cause. He was one of them, one of the ignorant ones, claiming what did not belong to them. And now he asked of her to become the pivot-point of her plan, the one factor everything depended on for her little scheme to work. Kohra's eyes narrowed. No chance in Karzhani. At least...not without insurance."I have a better idea." she said, as she added the new factors into her plan. "You and I, we are going to Ko-Koro."

She looked around the room and quickly located the collar, slung over the back of a chair by the far side of the room. She walked over and took the strap bringing it back to the Toa sitting on his bed.He held out his hand to take it and Kohra placed it in his open palm, but as he tried to put it on she didn't let go."One more thing before we leave." she said. "I don't need to touch you in order to hurt you. I strongly recommend you keep that in mind for whatever it is you think, or may think, of doing."She took his upper arm and pulled the Toa to his feet, before walking toward the door. Draeverian thought briefly about the healer who'd taken care of him for the past three months, but let the thought slip with a mental "IOU".As the two made their way through the tree city, DJ attempted to broach some ground with his temporary companion."I'm Draeverian Joskiir," he said in the female's direction; "You are?"

  • OOC: Actually, I'll take the quick route over the scenic one this time ^^IC:Kohra waited until Draeverian had left the door, before pulling it close again. The Vortixx felt satisfied. She'd get what she wanted and she didn't have to paint the inside of the hut with the Toa's blood. Not bad for a morning's work. She began to follow the Toa as they started on their way, in her casual stride with the slight swinging in the hips. It was intended to look like she was not in a hurry, nor going anywhere in particular, but it still turned some heads. Mostly male. They had walked for several minutes, when Draeverian apparently decided it was time to break the ice. "I'm Draeverian Joskiir," he said in the female's direction; "You are?"He'd given her no fake name, she could tell. Well, if it had to be, it had to be."Kohra." she replied, before continuing on in silence, not keen on small-talk.A few minutes later they reached the lift-platform. A bit of standing in line was involved before it was their turn to descend back to solid ground in the elevator.Stepping out of the wooden cabin, Kohra turned and looked down the northern path leading out of Le-Wahi, where icy cliffs were rising. It would be a long walk. And they'd best get to it."Let's go."OOC: Kohra and Draeverian to Ko-Wahi.

  • IC: Tangrua, tegam. After the to left the shop, Tangrua remembered that he hadn't told Matan and Natan of the plan for the NUII meeting that they planned to have the next day. Tegam turned back, entered the shop, and then, seeing as no one was at the counter, he enteredd the backroom just as his teammate dekuna said...

"I want you to build me..." Dekuna dropped his voice "... a Rahkshi"The Skakdi's giant jaws both dropped.

"It is possible." Tangrua intergected, seeing the look on the skakdi's faces. "You would obviously need a magnifiation lens to do lots of the work, but it could be done using parts from other rakshi. One fell in po-koro, and three in this city." Then, turning to dekuna, he said. "Why no come to your own teammate for help? Did you not see the insiude of my workshop just a day ago? I even had some basic design plans done on the same project!"OOC: Tegam is not big on knocking, and you didn't say they locked the doors.
IC (Dekuna, Matan and Natan): "We want nothing to do with any Makuta" Matan said slowly, his voice dangerously quiet, but almost breaking into a yell. Did Makuta not have enough Rahkshi to terrorise this island already? "Nor with their servants. You can all leave. Now." He rose from his seat. Fear of the shadows was quickly turning into anger."We are no servants of Makuta" Dekuna quickly explained, before the Skakdi could throw him out. "Quite the opposite. You must have heard of the battle against Makuta's sons this afternoon. We were part of that, driving those demons away from Le-koro. They are attacking the island, and we need ways to fight back. The reason I came here" he said "is that every suit of armour has a weakness. Either a soft point, or a particular frequency." He picked up a cog, and studied it for a moment, turning it over in his hands. There was a loud noise, and the cog exploded into fragments. "With the right knowledge, I could do that to a Rahkshi. I don't have that knowledge. This is why I want to commission a perfect replica of a Rahkshi - one that is perfect in every detail. Not to preserve Makuta's hold on Mata Nui, but to shatter it."The Skakdi were silent as they considered this. If the toa was lying to them, then he was much too good at it. If he was being truthful... they didn't quite know yet, but such a job would cost an awful lot. They hated everything to do with Rahkshi, and building one went against everything they stood for.Dekuna's next point was addressed to Tangrua. "I did not tell you" he said, "because a being of sonics knows the value of silence. How would it look, do you think, if word got out that the Hau Karda, a team publicly dedicated to opposing Makuta, were working on building Rahkshi? It would look like we were disguised snakes, no better than the Rahkshi themselves. None of us could ever regain a scrap of credibility, and all toa teams' reputations would be tarnished. I don't want that to happen, and neither do you" he asserted. "The fewer people who know of this, the better. Far better that I was seen to be alone in this plot, the one bad apple in a good team. If we had started work together, at your workshop in the team base of all places, the whole team would look rotten. Thus the need for our spiny friends here". He indicated Matan and Natan. "Does that answer your questions?"Without waiting for a response, he walked to the door and locked it. For extra privacy, he placed a field of silence around the whole room to prevent any eavesdroppers, cursing himself for not doing so earlier.
