BZPRPG: Onu-Wahi

IC: Incommodo"Neither, I'm Incompetent." Incommodo explained. "I am a detective, and I can help. What's the problem?"

IC:NPC Skakdi"Well that's reassuring." The Skakdi said, rolling his eyes. "Alright, what happened is this. A guy died, and we have no idea who did it. He was killed by a dart, which struck his heart."

I.C. Kranuka"Oh good, so which Koro next? How about Ta-koro? I've never been there."

OOC: Part one of the surprise now begins its unveiling. Part two and completion of part one will follow in my next Sulov IC.IC: Sulov hobbled into the parade ground before the stables just before the thirty minutes ended. He had begun to use his remaining hand for balance-with phantom pains and a sudden lack of one end to an appendage adding to dizziness from lack of blood, the commander was having trouble traversing Onu-Koro.He looked idly around for squadmates as he approached the stables. But all the matoran could find was a pair of young Ussalmatoran idly chatting as they entered the structure.Sighing, Sulov made his way towards the door....And then heard the sound of trotting Ussals and a 'Broza!' behind him.The coammander turned to catch a full regiment of Ussalmatoran stopping their march into perfect parade formation. A grin lit up Sulov's face, and he called out:"Hai, Krruzof and Krrofuz!"

I.C. Kranuka"Oh good, so which Koro next? How about Ta-koro? I've never been there."

OOC: Wait a second... Didn't we meet in Ta-Koro? So how could Kranuka have never been there?IC Fehron"Sure. Let's go!" The party made their way along the streets of Onu-Wahi.IC Dymiun"That was a close one... Hey, is that... Fehron? Botan?" Dymiun wondered aloud as he noticed them approaching. "Hey! You guys! I- Ow!" Dymiun ran towards them, tripping over a rock in the process.IC Botan"Dymiun? What are you doing here?"

IC: Incommodo"I see..." Incommodo scratched his chin, thoughtfully. "Had he been drinking?"

OOC: Oh, I thought that was Po-Koro. :PI.C. Kranuka"A friend of yours?"

IC: Ihrey"A dart to the heart, eh?" Ihrey asked, eavesdropping whilst stroking her chin. "How old fashioned. How quaint."

IC: Nikarra"It's actually pretty modern. I'm part of the only group on the island that has access to timed explosives." Nikarra explained.

IC: Ihrey"As far as I'm concerned, it's old fashioned. My old friends stopped using darts around about the time crossbows came into use and a few others realised knives were just as quick or fun."

IC:NPC Skakdi"Had he been...?" The Skakdi looked flustered. "How am I supposed to know that?!"

IC: Nikarra"Well, darts can be helpful for stealth. You're going to notice a massive bloody crossbow, aren't you? But a blowpipe, likely disguised as something else, in a crowded room? If your aim's good, you'll be more likely to get away with it AND watch the victim die."IC: Incommodo"Were there any bat things like her," Incommodo pointed at Aru, "involved in it?"

OOC: Oh, I thought that was Po-Koro. :PI.C. Kranuka"A friend of yours?"

OOC: No, we met there and went to Po-Koro.IC Dymiun."Yes. I am Dymiun, Toa of Magnetism, and part of a Toa Team with these guys."

IC: Ihrey"Only if they hold the crossbow in front of their target, in which case, they deserve detection. Waiting on a rooftop for the target to emerge is what you can use a crossbow for. Why would you kill someone in a crowded room, anyway? Someone's going to be looking at you at all times." Ihrey cursed the combination of alcohol and dear subjects that was making her talkative.

IC: Nikarra"In case you haven't noticed, most roofs here are domed. Also, in a crowded room, people will be looking at everyone. With a weapon like a blowpipe, you'd be completely inconspicuous."

IC: Ihrey"Hey, I never said darts were bad. Just old fashioned. I prefer my approaches. Waiting until the victim is alone, when there's no chance of discovery."

IC: Nikarra"I would do that under normal circumstances, but I had to take a risk to save my brother's arse. Annoying or not, family is family, and all the rest of us are dead. It was a fire. The house burnt down."

IC:NPC Skakdi"Look bub, all I know is that an Avian was murdered, and that the window had a hole in it." the Skakdi said, rolling his eyes. "Sure, there's a Mystix at my Inn, but that don't mean she's guilty."

IC: Incommodo"I'd like to have a chat with her, anyway. From what I know, Mystix are all evil-"IC: Aru"Except me."IC: Incommodo"Except her."OOC: I made the Mystix, it's true.Also, Aru was the only known female, but meh. XP

OOC:You should really tell people that...IC:NPC Skakdi"Uh huh." The Skakdi said, rolling his eyes. "Sure, she's in there." He said, pointing at the Mystix's room. "Just knock before you enter."

OOC: I HAVE told people that. A lot. It's just that none of you bother reading it.IC: IncommodoIncommodo knocked politely on the door.

IC:NPC Styxxette"Hello?" Styxxette called from her room. "Who is it?"

OOC: Hubert, Automaton, you know what's coming up. This'll be hilarious.IC: Incommodo"Hello. My name is Myself. I know, a bit weird, my parents weren't the most imaginative bunch. I'm here to ask you a few questions."

IC:NPC Styxxette"Okay 'Myself...'" Styxxette said, rolling her eyes behind the closed door. "What do you want?"

IC: Incommodo"First of all, how's life? Anything happening with your family?"

IC: [Arkrak]"Oh dear."

IC:Cikren"Thanks," the Toa of Ice said, trying to get comfortable on the bed.A few hours of uninterrupted rest was exactly what she needed.

IC (Weta): "No problem. Anything you need, just yell". He also lay down to rest, though he didn't drop off to sleep right away. He knew that Cikren's current condition was at least partly his fault, having convinced her to take part in the quest and then suggested the Onu-koro hospital. Not that he could have known that those were bad ideas - there was no malice in them - but he still didn't like to see his fellow toa-heroes being hurt. He supposed that was part of the job. When they stood up to evil, things would get messy.OOC: Mind if we timeskip through the whole resting/sleeping/dreaming business?IC (Dekuna): "That sounds like a good plan. Lets keep an eye out and ask a few discreet questions. Keep in mind, though, that this being could be a shapeshifter or be in some other sort of disguise. It could be anyone at all. Let's be very careful here, because we don't know what we're dealing with."

IC: Aru"Why are you saying 'oh dear'?" Aru asked.

IC: [Arkrak]"My plot sense are tingling, and I think Inc is going to do something rather stupid."

IC:Styxxette"...I really don't have time for this." Styxxette said, opening the door. She frowned at Incommodo. "What is it that you really want?"

IC: Incommodo"If you'll give me a few seconds, I'm trying to build up a feeling of trust between us so that your face will look funnier when I accuse you of murder." Incommodo explained.IC: Aru"I wish I had plot senses..."

IC: Ihrey"I still think you guys are nuts with your 'plot' gibberish."

IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak slowly palmed his face in exasperation.

IC:StyxxetteIncommodo soon found his face slapped, and then hit by the door as it closed. The Skakdi owner approached Incommodo. "You sure you're a detective? Can I see your credentials?"

IC: Incommodo"I... um... left them in my other armour."

IC:NPC Skakdi"Uh huh. Get out of my inn." The Skakdi said, showing Incommodo the door. "Your causing even more trouble than that Chronn fellow."

IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak sighed and pushed his friend to the side, pulling out a somewhat scrumpled piece of paper he had obtained from Chronn when he had been recruited as a detective. "Here we go. He's my sidekick. I'm the detective guy."

IC:NPC Skakdi"Uh huh. Sure you are." The Skakdi said, snatching up the piece of paper and reading it.OOC:Is it actual credentials, or just a piece of paper that says that he's a detective?

OOC: Actual credentials that he got after Chronn hired him.IC: [Arkrak]"I basically worked for Chronn."

OOC: Aww, I was hoping it was just a piece of paper with a stick figure scribbled on it, saying "I'm a detective". :PBtw, should we get kicked out, would there be any other customers sitting down and watching? If there is, I might try...something...with an NPC.IC: Ihrey"I hope this actually works," Ihrey muttered. She still hadn't finished her drink and wasn't happy at the idea of being asked to leave.
