  • OOC: No problem.IC: CikrenThe Toa of Ice woke early, although, she couldn't tell because of the lack of sunlight. Cikren assumed it was earily, as she still felt slightly tired. She sat up, and glanced over to the bed next to her's; Weta was still passed out on it. She got up out of bed, and walked silently over to the door, as to not wake the other Toa. Cikren quitely stepped out of the room and slow closed the door. She was definatly feeling better, still not great, but better. The Toa of Ice made her way up to the roof of the Inn. This building seemed fairly new, as it wasn't a dome like most of the buildings in Onu-Koro, but a normal building. Completely with a flat roof. She stepped out onto this flat roof, and began her daily routine of stretches. Unlike in Ko-Koro, there wasn't a space that she could practice alone, but the roof was the next best thing.

IC (Weta): Normally, Weta would also have been up early. His years in the hermitage had put him into the habbit of getting up at the crack of dawn, but the lack of daylight here was really messing up his rhythms. How the Onu-matoran coped with it, he would never know. If the old hermit was still alive, he might have asked him.Weta slept on, dreaming about a gukko bird, a magic bog snake and group of angry Ko-matoran.***When he finally awoke, it was to the sound of ussals tramping past. He saw that Cikren was gone, and went outside to look for her.

  • IC:NPC Skakdi"Okay then." The Skakdi said, walking over towards the body. "This is the body." There wasn't much about the body. There was just a body, with a small dart hole in it. "He was killed by a poison dart." He held out the dart. "And this is the killing dart."

  • OOC:

OOC: Part one of the surprise now begins its unveiling. Part two and completion of part one will follow in my next Sulov IC.IC: Sulov hobbled into the parade ground before the stables just before the thirty minutes ended. He had begun to use his remaining hand for balance-with phantom pains and a sudden lack of one end to an appendage adding to dizziness from lack of blood, the commander was having trouble traversing Onu-Koro.He looked idly around for squadmates as he approached the stables. But all the matoran could find was a pair of young Ussalmatoran idly chatting as they entered the structure.Sighing, Sulov made his way towards the door....And then heard the sound of trotting Ussals and a "Broza!" behind him.The coammander turned to catch a full regiment of Ussalmatoran stopping their march into perfect parade formation. A grin lit up Sulov's face, and he called out:"Hai, Krruzof and Krrofuz!"

Bringing in some NPCs.IC: Sulov had understood what was going on immediately.Kruzov and Krovuz were brothers-and not just in arms-who respectively commanded the 5th and 6th Ussalry Squadrons of Regiment 3. The grim pair had always liked Sulov and likely had volunteered the regiment of their own volition upon hearing of his tale. The same couldn't be said of their Regiment Commander, however; Sulov knew him to be an Arkom and Skoshom supporter who had no doubt was protesting the mission.Koskium greeted the pair with real enthusiasm. His postulation was proven correct in short conversation-The Companions, as Regiment 3 was called, hardly had missions these days due to their status as medium cavalry. The lighter Regiment 2 patrolled the borders, while Regiment 4 typically dealt with what few things 2 could not handle. The Companions were built for a pitched battle-they were neither as fast as 2, nor as heavy as 4. So Regiment 3 had enough time to volunteer for an optional mission. And they had the will for it, too. The relatively lanky troops of The Companions were mainly composed of those with ties to the Gukko Force. While 1 had brothers in Ko-Koro and 2 in Po-, 3 had a good portion of its people related to Le-Koroans.This was shown, Koskium reflected, in their weaponry. 3 was a hybridized regiment.Somewhere between the favored light Ussalmatoran of old and the Squadron Commander's heavies had been born Kruzov and Krovuz' soldiers. Clad in a chain-mail coif and leggings beneath their plate (as opposed to the extra plate of 7th), 3 wielded an eclectic assortment of weaponry. Each Ussalmatoran carried a spear more than two matoran high in length, one shorter than 7th's lances if not 2's array of light weapons, for charges. Built into each Ussal's top armor was a crossbow-turret not dissimilar to that of 7th's for longer-range attacks; the more accurate and long-ranged crossbow had been developed before the repeating version and was used as a mean of the light disk and heavy repeater. 3's final weapon was the sheathed saperka each member carried for entrenching and close combat thanks to Sulov's display of its effectiveness. They were a fine and disciplined fighting forceWith 7th, Sulov thought, I may contribute. With a regiment and a half, WE can make a difference.Emboldened by this show of solidarity-and indeed, 3's ten members gave Sulov the Onu-Koroan salute and displayed their saperkas for to show readiness for combat-the commander trotted off to the stables.
