BZPRPG: Ko-Wahi

IC(Noiatz Livic): "That's....that's actually perfect." she said. She hated the cold. No one would think to look for her there. She could hide out for a while, then move elsewhere. Preferably where it was warmer.

IC: Elian"We could go to my bakery...."

IC(Noiatz Livic): Noiatz almost agreed, but stopped. This was almost too easy. She meets two Toa. The crossbow Toa was probably going to kill her, if Elian, her comrade, hadn't stopped her. Now they were trying to drew Noiatz into a trap. "Sureee.." Noiatz replied, keeping an eye on both of them.

IC: Elian"Okay...." Elian started walking. "This way. I can make some cinnamon buns."

OOC: What do we do with Gravity's Char?IC(Noiatz Livic): Noiatz turned to the crossbow Toa. "Would you like to come as well?" she asked. If it was a trap, Noiatz was going to spring it on her terms.

IC: Kearrstrun - Ko-Koro - HutKearrstrun just looked away from Angelus."Don't obsess over the Runes. Or you'll start making paintings too."He looked at all them, "You're all going to die. It brings me peace knowing which ones deserve it."IC: Utu - Ko-Koro - HutUtu scoffed."We can't.""What happened to Dorian was a fluke. We've never seen a Mark transferred to another body. There is no guarantee it would ever happen again."Utu rolled his eyes, "Arekule referred to all this as as the "Program". What's that supposed to mean? Are we supposed to be on some sort of timeline?"Kearrstrun didn't answer.

IC-Praggos:"I recommend you tell the man what he wants to know," Praggos said to Kearrstrun. "I can prevent him from killing you...so long as I can keep an eye on him." Praggos turned, finishing the small notes he was making on Tuara, Angelus, and Jikal, and looked over to Kearrstrun."That, and I highly doubt we're all going to die. Unless these marks have some odd chemical poison that is invariably lethal and renders us deceased quickly, you and some team won't have the ability to take down all of the Mark Bearers." Praggos smiled slightly, though there was no mirth in the expression."I also know that Utu sending one of his knives through your eye and into your brain is lethal, and I imagine he gets tempted to do that rather easily. Now, unless you want to die before this 'Program' comes to fruition, I'd recommend you tell the big guy what he wants to know."

IC: Kearrstrun - Ko-Koro - Shop"You're all going to be looking in that book for answers. You'll find them. You'll find more than you'd ever like to know."He looked to Utu, "And then, you'll lose your mind."He shook his head strangely, "Nobody can survive the madness the Marks will bring. Arekule couldn't. You certainly won't."Kearrstrun frowned, "Knowledge comes with a price. And in this case it was our sanity."

IC: RiversongShe was about to answer the other Toa when three more Matoran arrived, this time wielding nasty-looking medical implements. One of them, carrying a large scalpel, stalked towards her. Riversong raised her own blade just as her enemy attacked, her arms trembling from the effort of parrying the blow. She attempted to kick the Matoran in the gut, but it quickly sidestepped, leaving her off-balance. Pressing the advantage, it raked the scalpel down her leg, causing her to sharply draw in a breath. There wasn't enough time to determine how deep the cut was, but she would worry about that later when the crazed Matoran wasn't swinging the scalpel at her head. Just barely managing to duck, Riversong tried to knock it off its feet with a low sweeping kick using her other leg. This partially worked, sending the Matoran stumbling backwards. Loosing a quick jet of water into its face, she darted behind it, ready to stab it in the back. But what she saw on its neck caused her to shrink away in horror and disgust: a bloated, oversized slug of some sort that was apparently feeding on the Matoran. By sheer instinct she slashed at it, causing it to let out an unearthly shriek. The Matoran jerked once spastically, then whipped around, seeming even more furious than before. It struck over and over in what could be described as a desperate manner, driving Riversong back. She was bleeding in several places now, and as the Matoran raised the scalpel over its head...it collapsed. Limping slightly, Riversong walked over to the slug and drove her knife into it, sincerely hoping that that would kill it. As she pulled her weapon out, she glanced around, checking on the others. Seeing that neither of them appeared to be in immidiate peril, she leaned against a nearby wall for a moment.

IC: Sehrii"Mmmm...." the Toa of Magnetism said absent mindedly at the throught of food. Food sounded good right about now. "I'll come, if you two don't mind."

IC(Noiatz Livic): "I don't mind if you come along." she said softly.

IC: Angelus (Ta-Koro)Now, Angelus had gotten rid of the part of Dorian that would take over his mind. What he could not get rid of, however, were the whispers of the Bearer's subconscious in his head. And right now, they were screaming. Out of impulse, Angel ran forward and grabbed the assistant by the throat."Tell me what you know!" he screamed; as he did so, the others could almost hear a whisper of the Toa of Iron's soft, quiet drawl in the command. "What paintings?"-Teezy

IC-Praggos:"Unhand him, Angelus," Praggos said to the Toa of Fire. "He can't very well talk when you're cutting off his air supply, now can he?" Praggos withdrew his journal again, flipping through some of the sketches of weapons he had made, checking through them for anything odd.Nothing as of yet, nothing that he could notice, at least. Good. The Toa of Ice flipped to an open page in the journal, beginning to write about what he knew of Kearrstrun.

IC: Valastrum"Enemy activity: Zero. Expanding search parameters..." Soundwave growled, before grabbing a nearby Matoran and tossing him into a wall, "Presence known. Prepare to battle enemy forces..." he said in his croaky monotone, just as three Toa came round the corner, one of fire, one of air and the last of ice. All wore the uniform Ko-Koronan Guard colours, and carried swords.OOC: There we go. We can fight some NPCs until good guys turn up, be they expy or no

IC: ElianCheerfully, she led the two through the Wahi.Surprisingly, in a matter of about three minutes, they had reached the village. After all, few knew the Wahi like Elian.With a nervous smile, she unlocked the door and opened it for her guests.

IC-Aclaraung:"Really?" Aclaraung growled, as he saw the three Toa run up over to Valastrum. "Great." He walked forwards, reaching out and grabbing the Toa of Ice by the neck. He glared into the frightened Toa's eyes, before he boredly dropped the Toa, walking up to Valastrum and the others."Did you really have to do this?" He asked the battling Valastrum, keeping a watchful eye on the Toa of Ice to his side.

IC: Valastrum"Yes." Soundwave replied simply, cutting off a Toa's legs and kicking his upper body across the snow, just as a blast of fire whizzed past his ear.

IC-Aclaraung:Aclaraung grabbed the Toa of Fire and pulled him back as well, away from Valastrum. The two Toa now beside Aclaraung averted their eyes from the dead body of the Toa of Air. He growled the Ta-Toa into submission, before setting him beside the Toa of Ice.Aclaraung then turned, facing all the other Toa who had come to battle. "Enough!" he roared, halting the squad in their tracks. "We are not here to do battle with you, nor should you do battle with us!" The Mystix of fire then turned back to Valastrum."And I would recommend that you don't start any more fights," he growled.

IC: Valastrum"Negative. They must fear us."

IC-Aclaraung:"Secrecy and diplomacy are more effective weapons than fear," Aclaraung spat out. "Domination via fear encites rebellion. Diplomacy can help out the Phantoms, giving us allies. Secrecy allows us to move unknown, where others can't see us. If we use fear as a weapon, however, we shall be easier to track and defeat." Aclaraung growled, turning back to the squad of Toa by them."Leave, all of you," he said. He did, however, put a wing in front of the Toa of Ice and Fire that were next to him when they went to leave. "Not you two, I have a use for you."

IC: ValastrumSoundwave stood by and stared emotionlessly at Aclaraung's actions. If his face was at all readable (which it wasn't), he would look intrigued, almost.

IC-Kun:"A use for us? Ha! I'll find a use for your bloody hide, creature!" Kun growled, his bladestaff whipping into his hand quickly. He spun it around a couple times, preparing to launch a quick attack on Aclaraung before a cyan katana was quickly flung before him by the Toa of Ice at his side."Stay calm, Kun," Xare said, his other hand on his wakizashi in case it was needed. "There is no point in fighting now, and the dragon might possibly prove helpful." He kept an expressionless look on his face, though he looked up at Aclaraung and Valastrum warily."I'd rather kill the dragon and get the other out of the city, Xare," Kun told his brother, though he sheathed his weapon when Xare glared over at him. "Fine, have it your way. If they burn this place to the ground, it's not my problem."

IC: ValastrumSoundwave stepped forth and asked Aclaraung, "What do you want with them?"

IC-Aclaraung:"They'll prove useful. One can be used to incite battle when needed, and the other is a diplomat, able to keep us safe and get us what we need better than most of the Phantoms would. Slaves are useful, so long as they don't know they are slaves," Aclaraung growled to Valastrum, knowing that Xare and Kun wouldn't notice.OOC: You get cool points if you get who both those characters are based on.

OOC: IC: ValastrumSoundwave nodded, "We will need to travel on foot."

OOC: Exar Kun. Look him up.IC-Aclaraung:"I already knew that, I'm nowhere near large enough to carry the both of them." Aclaraung glared down at Xare and Kun. The two Toa stopped arguing immediately, themselves glaring back up at Aclaraung."Let's go down to Le-Wahi. From there, we can jump right over to Kumu."

OOC: I should have known it was a Star Wars reference IC: Valastrum"Yes. And rendezvous with Galvatroth." Soundwave agreed, then walked over to their new servants and telling them to get to their feet.

IC-Kun:"Who says we have to listen to you, deafy?" Kun sneered, about to pull out his swordstaff again before his brother stopped him. He growled, withdrawing his hands from the weapon on his back."Fine. Let me grab one thing," he said, quickly moving off. After a minute or so, he came back, a katana, similar to his brother's, hanging at his hip-though it was red protosteel, like his swordstaff, not cyan."Let us leave," Aclaraung growled at Kun and Xare, sending the two Toa walking ahead of Valastrum and himself.

IC: ValastrumSoundwave followed silently as the passed through the drifts to Le-Wahi.OOC: Valastrum (with Xare, Kun and Aclaraung) to Le-Wahi.

IC(Noiatz Livic): Noiatz stepped inside the bakery, a little slow. She was still nervous about meeting these two Toa. A blast of warm air hit her as she walked further into the bakery. If these Toa weren't bounty hunters, Noiatz would love to stay here. Out of the cold.

IC: Tank - Ko-Koro - ShopTank stood up to strike Angelus/Dorian down, but before he could, Utu stepped closer and struck Angelus across the face before kicking him down in the chest, seemingly not caring whether or not he wrenched Kearrstrun's neck out of place in the process. Utu wound up, and with his massive fist, he brought it down smashing into the ground next to Angelus' head. Everybody stopped when the fist went into the ground.IC: Utu - Ko-Koro - Shop"Dorian," He whispered, "I know you're in there, so this is my warning to you now. If you so much as touch the Assistant in this body, or the next, I will kill you, Mark or not," Kearrstrun continued to choke, "Release."

IC: Angelus (Ko-Koro)Angelus's eyes stared wide in anger at Utu before finally releasing the madman's neck."If I've already seen the paintings..." he whispered in a tight rage, Dorian's drawl echoing through that room, "Does that mean I'm first?"-Teezy

OOC: Lol, ninja'd.IC-Praggos:"Possibly," Praggos said. "Possibly not. That depends. Do you feel insane? Are you seeing things you shouldn't?" Praggos looked boredly up at Angelus/Dorian."If not, then you aren't going insane now. Just because effects manifested earlier in you does not mean you will be the first to die." Praggos gestured to Utu."Unless, of course, you make him mad."

IC: Angelus (Ko-Koro)"I am having visions, Guardsman," Angel snarled. "I have been seeing things I should not for days now. I have seen what fate awaits those who defy the Spirit, and I have seen what happens to those who try to escape it. I do not intend to go back to seek a rerun of...that."His voice was constricted still, but in slight fear instead of rage at this point. -Teezy

IC-Praggos:"Ah, but many beings have visions, and not all are insane. Nuju could know what was happening around the island from his dreams, and would be invariably right. It is possible that you are supposed to see these visions, that they are a part of your destiny. Having visions and being insane are different things." Praggos thought for a moment."Hallucinations, things you feel you live in and that are hard to distinguish from the real world, those are a sign of insanity. Visions, however, can provide clues to the future. You don't live in a vision, you see a vision. That is not insanity."

OOC: Grochibro, if only you knew what my next Kumu!Dorian post entailed...IC: Angelus (Ko-Koro)"I wasn't aware I was speaking with an expert," he muttered.-Teezy

IC: Kearrstrun - Ko-Koro - HutKearrstrun chuckled through the choking sounds. When he was released, he leapt up and away, still laughing. It was possible Dorian could be first. From his observations, Dorian was the biggest believer in their destiny. He probably spent a lot of time thinking about it. But Tank. Tank would be the first. But Dorian didn't need to know. He didn't answer. He just smiled.IC: Tank - Ko-Koro - HutTank watched Utu back off of Angelus/Dorian, "I've seen them too. I saw them just before we found the book."IC: Tuara - Ko-Koro - HutTuara waited for Praggos to stop speaking. She looked to Kearrstrun, "So we need to them off."Kearrstrun shook his head at an angle, "No, no, no. Utu has survived hundreds of years with his. Simply, you mustn't think too much about the Runes upon your arms."Tank spoke up, asking a question he had wanted to ask since they met him, "Is there a way to remove them?"Silence. Everybody looked at Tank. Some angry he could consider it, some eager to hear the answer."We don't know. We never got that far into the program. Arekule thought you'd all have to be at the temples together before you attempted anything of the sort."Utu stood up taller, "Temples? What temples?"Kearrstrun motioned the journal, he didn't want to speak. Instead, he'd rather Tank read it out of the book.

IC: ElianElian carefully slid a tray of cinnamon buns into her oven, before turning back to the others. She eyed them warily.

IC: Kearrstrun - Ko-Koro - Shop"A couple entries in."IC: Tank - Ko-Koro - ShopTank flipped open the journal, skimming over previous entries."The temple we found on the Kumu-Islets were littered with Runes upon the stone door. We can't drill in, or smash the door down. Whoever built this must've been a technical engineer, because no matter how we approach it, it will not bust. However, we've decided that we need to collect all the Bearers together in order to open the door, as all the Marks on the front seem to be significant. They are identical to the ones in Nuju's files.Despite this, it takes a back seat to testing. Perhaps once this is all done, I'll open the temple. See what's inside."There was more, but Tank slapped the book shut, "That temple."

IC-Praggos:"I do not know why," Praggos said, thinking, "But this temple sounds familiar. Almost as though I read of it, somewhere...or it was on a map..." He pulled out his journal, flipping through it to find out about this temple.
