IC: Fantum"I am Fantum. Your name, please. Although I likely already know it, the sharing of names at a first meeting is a non-optional social tradition."
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi raised an eyebrow. "I'm Gunfi." he said.
IC: Fantum"Pleased to meet you." Fantum did not look pleased, his face retaining its cold and steely appearance. "Now, name your price."
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi knew what he meant, but it couldn't hurt just to be safe. "For what?" he almost growled.
IC: Fantum"You know what for."
IC: TorakTorak ran through the cold, dark, and long tunnels of Onu-Koro. Soon he made to the entrance of Onu-Koro.
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi glared at the Toa. "5,000 widgets before the job, 5,000 after it's done." he said.
IC: Fantum"What about more permanent employment?"
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi crossed his arms. "How good would the pay be?" he asked, his eyes gently glowing.
IC: TorakTorak raced to the entrance of to the tunnels of Po-Wahi. Soon he made it.IC: Mahiku"WOAH!!!! IS THAT A TOA!!!!! FORGET ABOUT SITTING HERE I AM GOING TO FOLLOW HIM!"Mahiku raced to the Po-Wahi tunnels as well.
IC: Fantum"Money is not a problem."
IC: TorakTorak with a Ta-Matoran who followed down the tunnel with him soon entered the desert of Po-Wahi.
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi smiled for a split second. "What do you need me to do?"
IC: Fantum"Follow me." Fantum replied, turning and beginning to walk away. It seemed strange to see him, looking so much like he was made of stone, walking smoothly and quickly, almost as though he were gliding.
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi frowned. If this was an ambush, he would kill this Toa. He followed, however.
OOC: FYI, Reichenbach currently has a normal, black Mahiki, even though his profile says otherwise.IC: Fantum & ReichenbachReichenbach looked up as he saw Fantum approaching, a Skakdi behind them. "And who might this be?""This is Gunfi. He is a new recruit."
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi grunted to the black-and-silver Toa. It didn't seem fishy yet, but you never know.
IC (Voi, Onu-Koro):Suddenly, Voi ran to Stronin and the others, saying: "A Matoran said he went to Po-Wahi. We must follow him, quickly!"
IC: Reichenbach & Fantum"Pleased to meet you, Gunfi." Reichenbach greeted, holding out his hand. Fantum knew it was all for show, but Reichenbach was such a good actor that no-one had ever actually noticed. He had been with Reichenbach since the start, having helped him break out of prison. Shortly afterwards, they met Nikarra and learned of Nekron and Mata-Nui.And here they were, with Nekron on the loose, Nikarra on the other side, and Reichenbach believed dead. Only the first was anticipated by Fantum; however, Reichenbach adjusted his plans according to the other two, with such ease that it was almost as if he had planned for them to happen.
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi didn't take the hand. "Screw the niceties, tell me what needs to be done." he said, his eyes glowing.
IC: MorokMorok was bored. Very bored. And when he was bored he wanted to fight."WHICH ONE OF YOU COWARDS WANTS TO FIGHT ME!!!!!!"
IC: Reichenbach"As you wish." Reichenbach didn't particularly care. He would have immediately washed his hands afterwards, anyway. "There is an inn, called The Odd One Out."
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi nodded. "Yeah, I know it. What about it?" he asked.
IC: Reichenbach"A dear friend of ours had a little mishap in there." Reichenbach explained. "Now, it would be a bit OTT to destroy the place, so, with a help from two of my other employees, you're going to blow up the two buildings on either side of it, which will act as a warning and be far more sensible."
Ic: The first two of Dorian's attacks landed effectively. Brykon's left arm was weakened and swung uselessly and dropped the weapon while his momentum was caught by a forceful slap to his temple. It dazed him and forced him on a momentary defensive. The move for his "nose" -- funny because Bionicle characters don't have noses -- was intercepted, though. The biggest effect would have been a removed mask, but he wasn't going to let that happen either. His right arm reached up, mirroring Dorian's palm's movement, gently diverting it from its course and shoving it to the side, opening Dorian up for a retaliation slap to his own face, this time with the pommel of his club. The footwork was just as cunning. True to his form, Brykon was cutting off Dorian's motion, nipping corners away as he went. The earlier bodyslam was effective in shoving Dorian in the direction of a corner between buildings, and escaping it, even with a Calix, was unlikely. But Brykon was facing out of the gap. His footwork, however, allowed him to duck down and dance around Dorian and out of the trap. The slap was a passing insult, and before Dorian knew it, Brykon had placed him into a corner -- and placed a distance between the two.And Brykon is taking advantage of Dorian's weakness! A distance was made! Now the fight will be ranged.
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi smiled. "Easy enough. When do I start?"
Kale Ironshaper- Onu-koro shopsIC: The Fe-matoran rummaged through a large book on the counter for a few moments before turning and saying, "Normally these would go for 150 widgets each, but for the sake of Kale here I think i can lower the price to a flat 100."
IC: Reichenbach, Kraal & Stranax"Just about... now." Reichenbach timed the final word so that it coincided with the arrival of Kraal and Stranax. Stranax was carrying timed explosives, obviously made with Kraal's power over iron — however, instead of Madu Cabolo, they contained far more powerful explosives, a cross between those of Arkrak and Doomslayer. "Ta-ta."Kraal grunted at Gunfi, wincing slightly as he moved his left arm. It was still painful where his wing had been cut in half, and he knew it wouldn't grow back. Stranax grinned psychotically, his face enough to leave any sane being scarred for life.
IC: Dorian (Onu-Wahi)Ranged combat. For the love of God, he despised ranged combat. Not to mention, Brykon had him pinned and was staring him down. This, too, was a problem; Brykon was huge, and if you didn't keep him moving, if you couldn't keep his feet from staying in one place, then he would plant himself and you could never gain ground on him. Dorian decided to kill two birds with one stone. He created several spikes of iron and flung them at Brykon's legs. He took advantage of the Colonel's movement, watching with keen eyes and ready feet as he jumped and darted out from the corner he was backed into, pulling off a perfect baseball slide between his legs. Dorian jumped to his feet and slammed one foot on the ground, creating a large array of iron spikes that rose up in a single file line. Brykon could either jump out of the way or be impaled.-Teezy
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi nodded to the two arrivals. "Let's go." he said, barely audible.
IC: Nekron & CommodumNekron stopped playing the guitar for a while, clapping, with some of the crowd clapping along. "Another one bites the dust! Another one bites the dust, ow! Another one bites the dust, hey hey! Another one bites the dust! Hey-ey-ey-ey-ey-ey!"Commodum looked at Arkrak. "Are you able to sing?"
OOC: Just for my sake, I'm gonna do a little timeskip here....IC(Gunfi): Gunfi stopped outside the inn, a sign with letters on it, spelled with lightstones, read, "THE ODD ONE OUT INN." "Okay, which building are we gonna blow first?" he asked the two.
IC: Stranax & Kraal"Both." Stranax explained. "You take that one, I take this one. Kraal supervises."Stranax handed Gunfi one of the bombs, ignoring Kraal's grumbling about how 'he gets the boring jobs'. "Careful with that. You now have about five minutes to get in there, drop the bomb, and get out."Stranax walked calmly towards the building to The Odd One Out's right.
IC: [Arkrak]"I'm a Toa of Sonics. Not being able to sing would be a dishonour to my family."IC: [stronin]"Let's go then."
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi took the bomb. It was heavy, but nothing he couldn't handle. "Come on." he growled to the being known as Kraal. They approached the building on the left side of the inn. The door was locked, but it was no matter for Gunfi. He pulled out one of his swords and cut down the door. He walked inside and laid the device in the center of what appeared to be a lobby of some office or another. He pressed the painfully obvious button on it to turn it on. They left the building and stood in the street, waiting for Stranax.
IC: Stranax, Nekron & Commodum"There are plenty of ways you can hurt a man, and bring him to the ground;"Stranax knocked on the door of the building, the grin still plastered onto his face."You can beat him, you can cheat him, you can treat him bad, and leave him when he's down!"The door opened. "Hello?""Hello." Stranax through the device in through the open door, running before lying face down on the ground with his hands covering the back of his head."But I'm ready, yes I'm ready for you, I'm standing on my own two feet! Out of the doorway the bullets rip, repeating the sound of the beat!" Nekron grinned as he heard people still clapping along. "Another one bites the dust! Another one bites the dust! And another one gone and another one gone, another one bites the dust! Hey, I'm gonna get you too, another one bites the dust!"Just as he finished, a massive thunderous sound exploded in the distance, a pillar of smoke rising into the air as he threw the guitar across the room and sat beside the others, Commodum clapping.
IC(Gunfi): Gunfi glanced at Kreel then he glanced at the two smoking piles that used to be buildings. "Let's get out of here before the Guard shows up."
IC: MorokMorok quickly got bored of waiting and headed to Ta-Koro. He walk sown the streets of Onu-Koro and made his way to the tunnel that would lead him to Ta-Koro.
Ic: The crowd went cray-cray! The fight was taking on another dimension.Brykon darted away nimbly. He was not fast by any meaning of the word, but he was quick, and that was something many people underestimated from him. He was built like a tank and people expected him to move like one, and his reflexes were just as fast as anyone else's fingers which wasn't a bad thing, either. The iron spikes were a hit-or-miss, but it was understood that they were meant to distract, not inflict damage. He worked with Dorian, allowing him to slide beneath him as he jumped, but when Dorian aimed his rows of ferric stalagmites Brykon was simply not there, his movements shrouded by the dirt and darkness of the cavernous village.Shoooom! A beam of iron reached out like a fist on a stretched arm that reached across the distance between Dorian and Brykon, who had deftly repositioned himself at a 90º angle away from Dorian. He didn't see it coming. But as Dorian moved away from it, Brykon took advantage of the situation and fired another. Shooooomm! Dirt and debris was blown up, and as soon as Brykon recalibrated Dorian's position another shot was fired. The size of each beam was smaller than the last, though the sheer power in each was unwavering and devastating, and it kept Dorian away from Brykon and at his weakest. There was no denying who had the solid advantage in the fight now. Brykon had exploited Dorian's weaker strategy and had proven himself able to outfox his movements, and in addition had shown Dorian that not even the powerful Mark Bearer could truly defeat the brutal bard in pure melee. Dorian, in short, had shown himself inferior in all the fields of combat compared to Brykon. But the outcome was all but certain. If Dorian gained power from his mark, even a little, or if he had one more card up his sleeve, he might be able to clench the fight. Brykon was a bear, patient, unwavering, tactical and concentrated, but Dorian had his own arsenal he could use.
IC: MorokMorok walked through the tunnels of Onu-Koro to get to Ta-Koro where he hope that SOMEBODY would fight him. After a quiet journey to Ta-Koro he stepped in the gates of Ta-Koro at last.
