IC: The Twins (Silencer) - Gym.
"Thank you," I snatched back Legion and put it away in my belt pouch. Toxin limped over and offered his hand to shake. I don't. He's a Lerahk, after all; what kind of an idiot did he take me for? I tapped Illusive's shoulder, "Time to go, brother." He nodded, and we began to walk towards the exit.
IC Vaalku
All Karz broke loose about five clicks ago. Now, it caught up here. Another Rahk was wounded pretty badly. This was not the time to train with the teardrops. Vaalku scoffed at Exxan, then turned and left.
IC: Exxan - Gym.
"Not so fast!" I snapped at Vaalku, standing between him and the exit. "First you hate me, then you try to help me. Why?"
IC Vaalku
Vaalku gave a grin. "You maul my friend, and I help you? 100% correct. Karz, I dislike you to an incredible degree, but it's a terrible thing to be taught from your own weapon. So as much as I'd like to whip the daylights out of you for what you did to Omega, the factor of pity is much greater than that of revenge. If everyone was vengeful, we'd all be dead."
"So I won't lay a finger on you."
OOC: Yay, Vaalku's back! and as mysteriously differentiating as ever! ![]()
IC: Exxan - Gym.
It takes me a few moments to come up with a response. "That just makes you one less enemy I have to deal with, then."
IC Vaalku
"Meh, whatever you like to call it." He turned to leave, then stopped and turned back to Exxan.
"Did you happen to see where Kat went?"
IC: Exxan - Gym.
"No." For reasons beyond my comprehension, Kat didn't seem to like me very much. I'd made a habit of avoiding people like that.
IC: Recoil
Recoil nodded. "Yes. Karz, that seems like it was bloody ages ago."
IC: Deadeye
*Paint? Like green paint?*
Yes. Duh.
"There's some paint in the cauldron I think. As for painters, I don't really know."
Ic: Hahsan
Hashan looked at the hand for a moment before realising that he had to shake it.
"Uh, Hashan." He said, shaking the other Rahk's hand.
Ic: Vinnie Jiminy
Vinnie didn't trust that smile. It seemed... Forced, like a con-man would do - like him. He presumed that nothing was meant by it though, so asked a question.
"So, uh, do ya know where to go in this school? I've been wandering around the halls to no avail."
IC: Toxin and Stronghold/3rd Person/Gym ---> Infirmary
Toxin wasn't offended in the slightest. He picked up Stronghold and went to the Imfirmary.
IC: The Trinity Brothers/3rd Person/Infirmary
Bullseye wondered what took his brothers so long so he told Abyssium to call for him at the infirmary if he was ready Togo. He went to the infirmary believing that they probably got their shells handed to them in a spar. And sure enough he was right, and he helped them into the infirmary. Then he saw Hoto and Jayarr trying to bring in an injured body and went to help.
"What happened? Besides the obvious that you probably need some help carrying that."
He gestured to take the arm Hoto was holding.
OOC:'Want an Ultron post, please.
IC: The Twins (Illusive) - Refectory.
Riding high on our victory, Silencer and I headed for the refectory to get what equated to food. Grabbing our trays, we sat side by side at the back of the room, eating slowly. What do we do now? I signed to my brother.
Silencer shrugged. "Now we wait, I guess."
For what?
"The next assignment... another battle... whatever comes our way..."
OOC: The Twins open for interaction.
IC: As the Brothers spoke with Hoto and Jayar Palma started to heal Toxin's wounds while keeping an eye out for Zelnos. Stronghold would make an excellent subject for the novice to start getting more hands on with his craft, the invulnerability Rahkshi's natural toughness protecting him from any slip ups Zelnos might make. And of course Palma would be right there working on Recoil and Toxin if anything went disastrously wrong
IC: Hoto - Infirmary
Hoto gratefully allowed Bullseye to help Recoil into a bed. "Thanks, Bullseye. Recoil here tried to stand up to Exxan and got the Karz beat out of her for it. He had friends, and she was asking to be killed, but Kat and I stepped in. We... didn't want another funeral."
Hoto cautiously turned her attention to the bed where Omega had been. It seemed like he was still there.
IC: Rain - Refectory
Rain tapped her foot impatiently and glared at the Vorahk in the front of the line. Was he... He was. Asking for double servings, like anyone wanted it.
Just stand there all day, why don't you? It's not like any of us are hungry too.
She couldn't put up with this guy. She leaned out of the line and shouted at him. "Hey, you! Yeah, Darkie over there! Hurry up, would ya?" He awkwardly shifted the overburdened tray to gesture to himself. Rain rolled her eyes, oblivious to the confused and threatening stares of her more patient fellow customers.
But he turned and walked off, laughing to himself. Shame, she was itching to cave in that smug faceplate. But then his path crossed a poster on the wall that caught her attention. She squinted to read the fine print from this far away. Did that say... "Painters Needed"? Why, she could do that! She stepped out of the line to get a closer look, waving to the others. She wasn't that hungry anyway.
"Hmm... Silver Rahk, Backpack," she read aloud. There were plenty of silver Rahks around. Chain Lighting must be a popular power or something. Wait... that one had a backpack. She ran off to meet him, only narrowly avoiding knocking trays out of hands. Well, almost. But she didn't care about the looks they gave her. She had a mission!
Rain slid into the chair opposite the Rahk in question and leaned in conspiratorially. She whispered with a hand on one side of her mouth. "I hear you're lookin' for... Painters."
OOC: There you go, Squid.
IC: Deadeye
Newcomer.
*I can see that, goodie two shoes.*
That reminds me, I wonder why people are looking at our face strangely.
*Ask the wimp.*
He's a level 3, I doubt he's a wimp.
*Whatever. Ask him.*
Deadeye turned to Squid.
"Is...there something wrong with my face?"
Deadeye's eyes were both blue and red.
IC: Recoil
"I wasn't actually asking to be killed. I was testing his mind. To see if he would do it or not. And as I predicted, he couldn't." Recoil said.
IC: Bullseye/1st Person/Infirmary
I didn't know why she went so far and almost got herself killed. As we put her into a cot, I decided to ask a really far off question.
"You and Omega...were really close, weren't you."
IC: Jayar / Infirmary
"A rather incautious bet. If you had been wrong, you would have paid with your life," he said to Recoil.
IC: Recoil
"Yeah...I guess we were." She turned her head to Jayar. "I don't really care to be honest."
IC: Rain - Refectory
So, her new employer was... otherwise occupied. Time to get rid of the competition.
She stared intensely at his face with an artist's eye. "Well, besides that ugly grin? Your paint is really sloppy for one thing. Did you do it yourself? And... oh."
As he turned to her, she noticed the differing eye colors. "Nope, you're good! Handsome as ever! Probably should get your eyes looked at though."
OOC: Come on, you were asking for it. ![]()
IC: Deadeye
*Heh, she called us handsome*
She was probably being sarcastic.....right?
*c:*
You're weird.
"What do you mean "get my eyes checked?"? Are they strange?"
OOC: I would like to say Deadeye's reaction was the same as mine. Also what do you mean I asked for it?
IC: Rain - Refectory
Rain laughed nervously and gave him a friendly punch to the shoulder. "Nope, just average, beautiful... Well, red and blue eyes. Maybe Palma might want to see how great they look! Just a thought."
This guy is bon-kers!
OOC: Well, I'm not shipping Rain just yet if that's what you mean. Just don't say "Is there something wrong with my face?" in Rain's presence.
IC: Jayar / Infirmary
There was little to say to that. Except...
"I'm sorry," he said sincerely, glancing at Omega. He was still in the bed he had died in. "Omega didn't deserve to die."
IC: Bullseye/1st Person/Infirmary
So she was close to him.
Along the way to the infirmary, I came up with a non-violent revenge plan, seeing as I didn't want to stoop to Exxans's level. It was going to involve a lot of slop and a lot of helpers. I just hoped Exxan's friends wouldn't cause us trouble. I looked to Hoto, Jayar, Kat, and my brothers.
"You guys interested in secretly pranking Exxan?"
IC: Squid
Squid looked at Deadeye's eyes.
"I think your eyes are cool! One is red, and the other is blue. Did you choose your name because of that? Also, thanks for telling me about this "Cauldron." Where is it?"
IC Vaalku
Vaalku trudged into the Refectory looking for Kat. He did not find Kat. He found a bunch of Rahks crowded talking about someone's eyes.
Oh Karz. Vaalku saw that mentally unstable Rahk had two different color eyes... Just like Poly... And he talked different.
Something was Karzed wrong here. He immediately took a standing position in his line of sight, hoping to question his eyes.
IC: Deadeye
"Wait.....they changed color?"
*Maybe they changed when we were freed?*
Maybe.
OOC: Why did you say I asked for it though? What did you mean?
OoC Kat is here too. Also, Poly has normal eyes.
Evil red Lerahk eyes.
IC Kat:
I sat pretty heavily in a chair next to the bed Recoil had been put in.
I was getting my strength back, but...
I also felt a little bad, offering to spar with Hashan, and then leaving.
I'd have to make it up to him later.
Softly, almost silently, I spoke, "I'm getting real tired of coming in here dragging someone to their feet."
IC Poly:
Places to go?
~lost~
*new*
Useful, perhaps.
But we did not know his objective.
"Where are you trying to go?"
IC: Hoto - Infirmary
Hoto narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "What kind of prank?"
IC: Rain - Refectory
It seemed like a good chance to get a word in to her future employer. "The Cauldron is a cave behind a waterfall on Nynrah. I get all my paint there. I could take you, if you would like."
IC: Deadeye
Deadeye turned around to see Vaalku stalking him.
*Him again. Let's kill him.*
No. Not for now.
"What do you want?"
Deadeye asked.
IC: (Snake/Gym)
Snake glared at the rooted rahk, before turning to find--
--"Exxan?!"
And someone else, too. It didn't take long to work out who was the attacker in this fight, and...so that was Exx's punishment, then? Interesting...
Now, should he help Exx's attacker or help the rah-- the murderer. He din't deserve Snake's help, the worthles-- No, wrong again, I'm afraid. Omega was in the wrong, or at least more in the wrong.
After feeling guilt at the state in which Om died, Snake could only imagine how Exxan felt, so he went to help him, raising Whisper's Bane to point directly at the assailant's head.
"Stand down" he said, nodding at Stretchy.
OOC: So, Recoil just ignores the massive sonic bow pointed at his head, then?
OOC: Just completely ignore all my posts then DANE
IC: (Snake/Gym)
Well, Recoil had somehow completely ignored the gigantic bow pointed directly inches away from his head. Nevermind.
Snake wondered about the gym aimlessly.
IC: (Torch/Refectory)
Well, no-one seemed to be asking him any more questions, Torch realised as his anger cooled a little.
Time to leave. The fire resistance rahk rose, his chair scraping back on the stone floor.
IC Vaalku
Vaalku frowned. "It seems as though your insanity has been 'cured'. but TBH I think something else happened." He leaned in close. "Are you sure you haven't been possessed?
OOC: I answered that in student register. Plus it's pretty hard to focus on someone in the background WHEN YOU ARE BEING BEATEN UP, SIL.
IC: Deadeye
*He's an idiot.*
He's an idiot.
"Go mind your own buisness. I'm not hurting you, or anyone else."
IC: Recoil
"No. None of you are sorry. Omega hated himself, you know why? Because everyone hated him. Even that Phogen, she hated him too. Obviously when Exxan beat him, that was his final failure. He just wanted it to end. Noneof you will ever understand that."
IC Kat/ infirmary
My head snapped around, and if looks could kill....
"And where were you when omega, me and Fang were pinned down on Nynrah? Where were you when he was on the floor of the Gym, Exxan standing over him?! Huh?!
Don't try to tell me that we, of all people didn't care!
I stood unevenly, a fire blazed in violet eyes.
Pointed at the still armor in the Bed.
"That Rahkshi had more backbone than most of the students in this school!"
I spun, and stalked out.
OoC Kat open for interaction.
IC: Recoil
Recoil glared at the leaving Rahkshi. "Most likely afraid that if I approached him, Phogen and her goons would be around." Recoil mumbled.
IC: Squid
Squid directed his attention to Rain, seeing as Deadpool Deadeye wasn't helping much.
"Sure! I'd greatly appreciate it if you took me to the 'Cauldron'."
OOC: He's not Deadpool! XD
OOC: *claps for Kat* I just wish Fang was there to say the same, but he's still comatose and probably will be for a while.
IC: Hoto - Infirmary
Hoto was torn. In the Infirmary was Recoil and a plot against Exxan. Outside was Kat, obviously in need of comfort. She made her decision.
"Kat! Wait up!" Hoto shouted as she ran out the door. It didn't take her long to catch up. She looked up at Kat and asked "You okay?"
Yes, Kat seemed upset before, but this was new.
IC: Rain - Refectory
"Come on then!" Rain jumped up and started for the door. Anything to get away from crazy over there.
IC: Deadeye
Deadeye looked back and saw that the two were leaving.
*She doesn't like us.*
She should join the club.
Deadeye ran after the two. "Wait up!"
IC Vaalku
Vaalku left the refectory, rather upset still. Then, after all the searching, he almost ran into Kat. "Kat! I've been looking for you. You seen Fang anywhere? I need to thank him."
OOC: Ah, so you did, Dane...
IC: (Raith/Library)
The observation was complete...for now.
The next task would be getting her armour repainted.
OOC: Snake OFI in the Gym, Raith OFI in the Library, Torch OFI in the Refectory.
IC: Jayar / Infirmary
Anger blazed back and forth. Death brought grief, and with it anger, at oneself and others.
"What gives you the right to judge us?" he said to Recoil, as Kat rushed out, followed by Hoto. "You are not of mind reading. Others cared for Omega more than you, or I, could know." This one was foolish, it seemed. Or perhaps grief-stricken. He, too, was not a Suleturahk. Judgement was not his to make, either. He turned away.
"I don't think Exxan would take a prank any better than an attack," he said to Bullseye. "Talk to Hoto and I about it later. Things are... tense, now." He left the room and caught up to Kat and Hoto outside, just as Vaalku approached.
"Now is probably not a good time, Vaalku," he warned.
OOC: Does Vaalku try to approach people at inopportune moments? ![]()
