IC Poly:

We saw the fight.

We wished to intervene on our newly freed brother's behalf.

But that was not freedom.

So we moved closer, taking strange, uneven steps.

On the outside, we looked weak, unweildy, like a fresh-tube.

It would hide our true presence out in the open.

We did not understand the Two Brothers. 

They were strange to us. 

We wished to learn their secrets.

OOC: Poly open for interaction.

IC: Death, War, Famine, Pestilence

The brothers saw rahkshi fighting.

War: "Oooh. A fight!"

The brothers walked up to the fighting rahkshi.

Death: "Save your energies for the assignment. We aren't here to fight with each other."

IC: Deadeye

Deadeye took the blow, waiting on Root to finish slime face.

IC: Booger-Causeway

Smilling Booger swung again, this time upwards, to hit him in the chest.

IC: Illusive - Causeway.

Taking advantage of Deadeye getting punched in the face, I forced myself between the two, pressing the blade to his throat, and jabbing the blunt end of the staff to block Booger's punch. My message was clearly conveyed even without words: stop fighting. 

IC: Root - Causeway

Root cocked his head to one side, still unsure why Deadeye appeared to be helping him. The Twin prevented any further action. Perhaps the slimy one didn't hear him earlier.

"I am Root, Reader of Books."

IC: Fang - Causeway

"We are about to begin an assignment." Fang pointed out tonelessly.

IC: Booger-Causeway

Booger tried to shove the interloper away.  "Stay out of this, this is My Business!"

IC: Deadeye

Deadeye had enough. He attempted to shove slime face over.

IC: Pyre

"Ok. I'm heading to see what this assignment is about. We can finish our battle later."

IC: Death, War, Famine, Pestilence

Death walked up to Illusive and attempted to push Deadeye away from the knife.

Death looked at the rahkshi.

"How about we solve things in a way that will spark less violence."

IC: Silencer - Causeway. 

I spoke up, since my brother couldn't. "The gym is for fighting. We're here for an assignment. How do you think the staff will feel when they come out here and see you idiots fighting over nothing?" 

IC: Bullseye and Punch/Counterpunch/1st Person, Punch's POV/Causeway

I frowned, not because of a fight breaking out, but because Deadeye confused and intrigued me. More observation must be needed to assure a final conclusion.

Punch asked to no one in general. "Should I intervene and stop them?"

IC: Booger-Causeway

"What fight?  I was just teaching these two NERDS a lesson.  Ain't that right, ODD EYES?"

IC: Death, Famine, War, Pestilence

Death nodded in agreement to Silencer's statement.

"He is right. What if you are all wasting your energy here? Will you have the strength to do the assignment if it requires energy?"

IC: Pyre

Pyre walked to the causeway only to hear a fight.

"Teaching nerds a lesson? Why is there a problem being a nerd?"

IC: Deadeye

*He just called us a nerd.*

We're not a nerd.

Deadeye growled.

"WHAT did you call me?"

IC: Bullseye and Punch/Counterpunch/1st Person, Punch's POV/Causeway

"Is that what this fight was about? I'm very disappointed."

I frowned. This snot-creature was obviously a bully.

IC: Booger-Causeway

"Aw, does mismatchy not like being called a nerd?  To bad, Nerds stink.  They don't do anything but read books all day."

IC: Silencer - Causeway.

"ENOUGH!" I roared at the one called Booger, who had clearly caused all of this. "If you lot want to fight, do it elsewhere." 

IC: Deadeye

*Try not to eat his arms when you kill him.*

No promises.

Deadeye lunged forward with a fist headed straight for slime face's....face.

IC: Bullseye and Punch/Counterpunch/1st Person, Punch's POV/Causeway

I decided to throw a comment their way.

"Last time I saw 'mismatchy' near books, I recall they got shredded!"

~Don't know if that was a sane decision.~

*Agreed.*

"Uh, Bullseye? I don't think that was necessary."

IC: Booger-Causeway

Booger took a punch to the face from Odd Eye.  "THAT'S IT! No one is geting in my way freak!"

IC: Illusive - Causeway.

I focus on Serpent-Fang, causing the blade to switch from Deadeye's end of the staff to Booger's, leveled right at his throat. 

Would these idiots ever learn? There was a time and place for fighting, and this wasn't it. 

IC: Deadeye

*Why is Bullseye defending us?*

Deadeye then attempted to strangle Booger.

IC: Jayar / Causeway

Circumstances must be dreary indeed if Hoto was walking, reflected Jayar as he followed her to the Causeway.

"Good morning, Fang." said Jayar, at Fang's appearance. He looked a little better, if not much, than he had when Jayar had last seen him. "Vaalku wanted to thank you for some weapons you made him."

IC: Vlad / Library-->Causeway

At the Porter's message, Vlad made his way to the causeway, disappointed that his reading has been interrupted.

IC: Booger-Causeway

Booger gulped, fear creeping into his mind.

IC: Deadeye

Deadeye squeezed harder. "YOU CALLING ME A NERD NOW! HUH?!"

IC: Fang - Causeway

Fang finally looked up and around the Causeway to catch Vaalku's eye. Surprisingly, he didn't appear... much worse than usual.

IC: Root - Causeway

So, that was what "nerd" meant. All this time, he had assumed his fellow Rahkshi were insulting him, but they were commenting on his love for books. This fight was getting more and more confusing, and Root had no desire to continue it. He nodded his thanks to the slimy one and walked off through the crowd. He should save his plants for the adventure.

IC: Silencer - Causeway.

"Are you all very much finished trying to kill each other?" I interjected, still holding my flail at the ready. "Let's all agree to get along peacefully at least until we find out what this assignment is about?"

IC: Death, War, Famine, Pestilence

Famine used his energy draining lasso and attempted to drag Deadeye away with it.

Death took his energy scythe that was hidden in his cloak and put it up to Deadeye's neck.

"Stop this now." he said in a very harsh tone.

IC: Booger-Causeway

Booger punched Odd Eye to get him to let go.  "I'll  stop fighting" than he mumbled, "Till you're gone."

IC: War, Famine, Pestilence, Death

War took his giant sword and pointed it at Booger.

"Please. Be quiet." he said harshly. "You wouldn't like a giant sword being smacked into you would you now."

IC: Deadeye

Deadeye struggled against the lasso. "Slimy ."

IC: Silencer - Causeway. 

"If you two can't get along, then just stay away from each other," I suggested, relaxing a little. Illusive still had his staff at the bully's throat, but the fight seemed to be over for now. It was good to see some of the other students stepping in to help as well. 

It was comforting to know that not everyone here was completely insane. 

OOC: Booger's name makes me look at my sig.

IC: War, Famine, Death, Pestilence

"I won't let you out of this lasso until you stop fighting. This lasso drains your energy anyways so you won'y have much energy to fight with." said Famine.

War looked at Booger still pointing his giant sword at him.

"You still going to fight? I have this nice giant sword I would like to try out." said War.

Death said, "Now lets be peaceful until we receive our assignment."

IC: Dodge-256 and Green

The two Rahkshi arrived at the Causeway at about the same time. They landed from flight and silently waited.

IC: Deadeye

Deadeye continued to struggle, yelling all sorts of verbal abuse at Booger.

Death moved his scythe closer to Deadeye's jaw so if he talked he would be cut.

IC Kat: 

That was worrying. Fang sounded.... dead.

I lightly punched his shoulder.

"Hey. You have back up this time, remember? It'll be alright."

IC: Booger-Causeway

Booger shrugged.  "Can I go now!"

IC: Illusive - Causeway.

Reluctantly, I lowered Serpent-Fang, keeping the blade extended just in case I had to use it again.

War brought his giant sword closer to Booger.

"Are you done fighting?"
