IC: SlateSlate: You're coming with me, old man.And so they left.
IC: "I'm your Toa. At least I think I'm a Toa. Am I a Toa? I can do cool stuff with fire and use mask powers... The little dude who picked me up called me a Toa..."
IC: GravityI sat up, having now gained control of all motor functions. Looking to left and right, I saw that I was sitting on a stretch of sand. Waves crashed on one side while black jagged rocks dominated the other. All the while, memories flooded through my fractured mind. The sudden feeling of needing to breath came over me, for I had closed my mouth. Air filled my lungs. The memories continued to come.I realized what I was.A Toa.OOC: *sigh* I'm still open for interaction.
OOC: Interaction coming your way, Gravity.IC: Krayzikk. Hospital + Jikal, CoastKrayzikk hesitantly sat in the chair he had previously occupied. He had no desire to make the situation any more awkward than it already was. He handed Riaril a fork, he had picked it up at the store, and the pie box. Oh, Krayzikk, how did you get yourself into this one?Jikal walked calmly down the beach, the sun glinting off his massive broadsword. He walked alone, as he had ever since he woke up in Le-Wahi with that Karzahni-born mark on his shoulder. It was simply too dangerous to be around others. He wore a cloak, with the hood drawn down over his eyes. It also served to conceal the mark on his shoulder. As Jikal walked, he spotted what appeared to be a toa in the distance. "Karz." Jikal muttered to himself. He appoached the toa, saying "Are you all right?"
OOC: Thanks!
IC: GravityI heard someone. My audio receptors picking up something. My head whiped around to face the being.Speech, I thought, The cloaked being is talking to me.I recognized the pattern and the way it was modulated. I understood what the being was saying. Unfortunatly, I couldn't say anything back, as I haven't learned how yet. I merely nodded my head.Fear suddenly shot through me.Was this being good? Was he evil? Would he try to harm me?
IC: Jikal, CoastJikal frowned again. "Can you speak?" Jikal kept his guard up, just in case the being turned out to be hostile, however much he doubted it.
IC: Raion, Ta-KoroRaion came to the desk, and signed the things required.
IC: GravityAnother memory. New knowladge. My mind began to come together."I.... can." I said. The words were drawn out, as I looked for the right way to say them. I stood up, pushing off the ground with my tentacles."Who.... are..you?" I asked, my face scrunched up in consentration as I seached for the words.
IC: Jikal, CoastJikal's frown deepened at the sight of the being's tentacles. "Just a traveler. And you?"
IC: Gravity"Not, sure," I replied, speech becoming easier for me to handle. The three tentacles curled back up on my back. I knew I was a Toa, but Toa don't normaly have tentacles."I'm Gravity. A Toa of gravity," I smiled at that. I found it funny to be named after my element.
IC: Jikal, Coast"Gravity, eh? Are you going to attack me if I come any closer, Gravity?" Jikal remained on guard.
IC: GravityA confused expression came over my face. I wouldn't attack this being. Unless he attacked me."Why would I do that?" I asked.I put my hand to my face, I felt something on it. A mask.Kanohi, I thought. I didn't know how I knew that, it just seemed right.
IC: Jikal, Coast"I don't know, but then again, I don't know you either. Besides, you didn't answer my question." Jikal fowned underneath his hood. Times like this, he really wished he could still use his mask.
IC(Tairel)
Tairel looks over the papers before asking,"So, you the girl's date or something?" He was just curious to know about his patients and wanted to get the guy to lighten up a bit.-Mef Man
IC: Rucia smiled at Tadris' ignorance, "You're a Toa all right, I can assure you of that."
IC: Gravity"No, I'm not going to attack you," I stated. This was strange. Waking up and not remembering a thing.
IC: Jikal, CoastJikal's hand slipped away from the handle of his broadsword, though Gravity most likely hadn't even seen him put it there. The sunlight glanced of the blade as Jikal approached silently. While his movements were not aggressive, for someone as confused as Gravity clearly was, the sword certainly couldn't have seemed peaceful.
IC: GravityI eyed the sword."That's a fine weapon you got there," I commented, not very sure were it came from. It was almost reflex or natural.
IC: Jikal, Coast"It is. It has served me well for a long time." Jikal continued to approach carefully, always keeping a hand near one of his concealed daggers in case he needed it.
IC: GravityI stretched my arms out, tired."Is there a village or settlement around here?" I asked the being.
IC: "Oh good. Another thing I'm sure of." Tadris then realized he had been sitting on the ground this whole time. Slightly embarrassed, he stood up. "So uh, where we gonna go? OOH! Is there a map of the island I can look at? I wanna know where we CAN go!"OOC: If someone could post a link to a serviceable map, that would be great. The one in the official topic is broken I think.
IC: Jikal, CoastJikal nodded. "Yes, Ta-Koro. Do you wish to go there?"
IC: GravityI nodded."That would be good," I said."Do you live in Ta-Koro?"
IC: Jikal, CoastJikal laughed darkly. " I don't live anywhere anymore, Gravity. Too dangerous. I'll lead you to Ta-Koro, though. " Throughout all of this, Gravity never once saw anything but the lower part of Jikal's face. Everything else was blocked by the hood.
IC: Riaril was about to bite in, but then she saw that Krayzikk had none. "Let's share," the doc drowsily announced. She looked up at Krayzikk's mouth. Aiming carefully, she took the piece she had already cut for herself and tried to feed it to the titan.
IC: Krayzikk, HospitalKrayzikk was confused, but accepted the food A. Because it would be worse to argue with the sleepy doctor. and B. The pie looked good. "Thabk you." Were the only words the titan seemed capable of thinking of.
IC: Gravity"I thank you, stranger," I replied. A village. I remembered a village from my past, but the name escaped me."What it Ta-Koro like?" I asked.
IC: "I have a map right here." said Rucia, showing Tadris the map she had in her possession.OOC: I'll brief him on the situation tomorrow, but for now, time is short. Enjoy the map.
IC: Raion, Ta-KoroRaion had been staring at the wall when the toa spoke. "Uh..." He stammered as he thought of what to say. "We're... friends. Yeah."Raion may have been skilled in bounty hunting, but it was normally Kitsune who lied. For good reasons.
IC(Tairel)
"Ah, so she's open," Tairel jokes before turning around toward the patient's room. "Feel free to go in, but don't wake her. She'll need her sleep."-Mef Man
IC: Raion, Ta-KoroRaion glared at Tairel when he commented, clearly missing the joke. "I never got your name..." He said as he stopped in the doorway. "You saved her life. I'd like to remember it."
IC(Tairel)
"Tairel," replies the Ta-Toa while holding his hand out for the being to shake. He didn't bother asking his name; knowing he probably wouldn't get a real name or even get an answer.-Mef Man
IC: Raion, Ta-KoroRaion shook the hand, quickly responding "Lion." Before walking into Kitsune's room.OOC: You're epic if you get that.
OOC: I guess I'm not epic... ![]()
IC(Tairel)
"I knew he'd give me a fake name," Tairel says to himself before walking back to the main desk and taking a seat. Maybe he could chat some more with Krayzikk, but he didn't want to disturb the two right now.-Mef Man
IC: Once again, Que was unconscious, therefore unable to hear anything. He was dragged along.OOC: I'd advise waking him up before further dialogue...XD
OOC: Raion is Japanese for Lion.
IC: Raion, Ta-KoroRaion walked into Kitsune's room and sat quietly in a nearby (This sounds famailiar...) chair.
OOC: thanks! However, I keep seeing Naho NBay as Nacho Bay...IC: Tadris looked over the map. "Wow, this place has everything doesn't it? Icy areas, leafy jungles, deserts... Does that place say its underwater? Cool."
"Mmmmpph..." Dren flipped his trident points down before resting on the butt watching the entrance to the main gate once again. The large Matoran hadn't been there more than five minutes before more figures arrived on the horizon."More newcomers I see." Dren commented more to himself. "Just no end to 'em." He chuckled. "At this rate if they ever got themselves organized, Makuta would have more than he could handle."
IC: Jikal, CoastJikal looked thoughtful, despite Gravity not being able to see. "Hot, dry, right near a volcano." Jikal walked up the coast. "You coming?"
IC: Gravity"I'm coming," I said as I followed the being to the gate.Once reaching the gate I gasped, "This isn't a village. More of a fortress."It was pretty amazing.
