IC: LaserbeakLaserbeak nodded. She walked just outside the door, and let out a specific bird call, one of a bird that did not actually exist. A moment later, the same call occurred a short distance away, where the chain continued until it reached a small front operation. And a waiting messenger.Within hours, signals would be posted in every village. Only five beings on the island understood them. And one had sent the signal out. When translated, it would read:Assemble in Ga-Koro. Meeting point One. Laserbeak's orders.LAserbeak returned, and talked to Skyra, her face a mask. "I'm bringing the team back together."
OOC: Jaron's going along, and Gravity will say when Ryllia and Nikila (and Onuzek, of course) leave.IC-Jaron:"Finally, something fun is happening," Jaron said, hopping onto his shield. He had a bit of trouble standing on it, at first, but he still could use it, even with his crutch."Woo-hoo!" He yelled, happy to be flying again.OOC: Jaron, to help Tillian find his destiny. And possibly getting killed in the process, I'm not sure.
OOC: Oh boy...everytime this happens...people get bunnyed...
IC: Skyra, Emotia Skyra nodded to Laserbeak, she was right though, he didn't really like it. Skyra went outside, and whistled for the gukko that were waiting for them outside the tavern, including Destiny. He stood up from his wheelchair, now able to at least limp around without too much pain, and got on Destiny slowly. Emotia was helped onto one of the gukko as well. (By someone...who cares really.
)Once everyone who couldn't fly or had other means to get there was aboard, the Destiny and the gukkos all flew off, following Tillian. OOC: Skyra, Emotia, and EVERYONE else who's with Tillian to Ga-Wahi.
IC: LaserbeakLAserbeak activated her mask, and followed the others.OOC: LAserbeak, following everyone else.
IC, Agzinel: Agzinel floated along with the others,OOC: Agzinel to Ga-wahi
OOC: And now all of my characters are going to Ga-Wahi.
IC: OnuzekHe jogged after the others, alone with Nikila. The big Toa suddenly jumped using his Pakari, and used some gravity manipulation to fly behind the others with Ryllia on his shoulder.OOC: My characters to Ga-Wahi.
IC-Raxa:Raxa watched the goings-on of the play through the scope on his crossbow. He had felt like just killing Havon with it, but he had come up with a better idea. After all, he could gather some information first, couldn't he? He put the crossbow back into it's sling on his back, before walking up to the play.He sat down in the seats, watching as the 'hot-dog' contest went on. How terribly Juvenile, he thought. He looked on, waiting for when Havon would be free to speak to. He stabbed his daggers into each seat to his right and left, clear warning he didn't want people to sit near him. He waited.OOC: Snelly, you should make Havon free from the play. Now. I want something cool to happen. ![]()
OOC: No, I will finish this play dang it!
IC: HavonHavon put away his script. "My fair princess! You have defeated the troll! Now I must take you away from this dreadful place! And back to your castle, nice and safe!"IC: MimiraMimira just shook her head. "Not so fast Lumberjack Hero! You must retrieve the great mask of our fair kingdom from the deep, deep dungeons of this castle! You must find it, and put that mask back where it came from! Or so help me..." "Very well princess! We will retrieve the great mask! Onward!" The two marched off into backstage, the curtains closed. Mimira and Havon looked at Miha backstage, terribly confused at how different there scripts were. "Why are all our scripts slightly different Miha?" Havon asked.
IC-Raxa:Unnoticed, Raxa stepped onto the back stage. He checked the tablet again, just to be sure. He walked up behind the Toa of Fire, and tapped him on the shoulder. "I might be able to help with that, Havon," he said then, calmly. Not a muscle twitched. He could control himself around others. Around Nex, however he just wanted to kill that brakas. Completing his mission, as always. He pointed over in one of the corners. "I'm fairly certain I saw some other Toa of Fire switching them up, or something," he said. He then leaned against the wall, looking at the others."So," he said, "How is the play going for you?"OOC: Nothing to see here, just a well-integrated assassin, who fits in with the common folk trying to gain Havon's trust and information...before brutally killing him...heehee.
IC (Dekuna as the Big Bad Troll): While the curtains were closed, Dekuna got up and made his own way backstage. it was getting seriously overheated inside the stuffed troll costume, so he unzipped the head to give himself some air. He emptied the hotdogs out of the cavity inside."And who are you?" he asked the new being who had somehow infiltrated their stage.
IC: Havon"Oh really? Fiva..." He said...slightly irritated, thinking Fiva had messed with all there scripts. "Well, thanks for that info and all but um...you really shouldn't be back here, if you want, you can always talk to me after the show."
IC-Raxa:Raxa looked over at the being who had asked who he was. "Nobody you need to worry about," he said as a response, his eyes darkening slightly. He then turned back to his Target."Yes, well, judging from the trouble you're having with the scripts, I figured it would take much less time just to speak to you now," Raxa said to Havon. He then looked around."Where there not three Toa of Fire here?" He asked after a moment.
IC: HavonHavon did not like the tone that Raxa spoke to Dekuna. "Okay...sir...as much as I'd love to answer your questions...we really need to get ready for the next scene...please leave...I insist." He put his hand on Raxa's shoulder and gave a friendly push toward the exit.
IC-Raxa:"Why?" Raxa said, not moving. "After all, I could at least help to make sure the scripts stay in order, if you would like," he said, managing to keep his hand away from his knife. He hated it when people touched him without his permission.
IC: Havon"No...that's not necessary, we only have a few scenes left anyway, the scripts hardly matter when we've already memorized our lines! Thanks for the offer though! If you need to talk to me again, see me after the show!" He said as cheerfully as he could muster. Please just leave so we can finish this play... He said in his mind.
IC-Raxa:"Alright," Raxa said coldly as he left, "Though I doubt talking is what I'll be doing." He walked away from the stage, out farther away. He came to an old platform, farther out from the Koro. It had been a Gukko Force base a long time ago...but he had converted it to his own use. He sighted through the scope on his crossbow-he was the perfect distance away. He cocked his crossbow, putting a bolt in it. He left it in the small stand he had made for it.After that, he walked inside the small base. There was a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, and an armoury. All that was really needed. He opened the door to the armoury, looking inside. Most of everything was there, except for a broadsword, gladius, two katana and a couple long knives that had been missing before he came.He walked up to one wall, looking at the various bows, crossbows, and disk launchers there. He laughed slightly. None of the weapons on that wall were the quality of his crossbow, meaning his still didn't need replaced yet. However, the scope for one was a bit higher power, with better clarity. He took it off, resolving to attach it after his latest job.He then walked over to the sword wall. There were all types of swords: Falcatas, Khopesh's, Gladius's, Katanas, Wakizashis...He left them there. He disliked swords, they were too big for his line of work. He completely disregarded the knife wall. He knew none of the weapons would be as good as his. However, he did grab a couple protosteel tomahawks that he saw hanging, hooking them to his belt.
IC: VirtheeThe Toa of fire walked over to speak to Havon. "Was I supposed to be in that scene? I didn't even see it in my script... I don't even see half of what has happened in their..." Then he noticed that Havon was already busy in conversation. "Oh, my apologies." Then the person walked away. "Who was that?"
IC (Dekuna half dressed as the Big Bad Troll): "There was something about that toa" Dekuna commented to Havon as the grey toa left. "And I don't like it. Watch out for that guy. 10 seconds till you're on again."
IC: HavonHavon shrugged. "I don't know...he was kinda...trying to be too helpful really...not sure what to make of him." "Anyway, yes I do believe you have a part to play in the next scene, apparently you are going to try to steal the mask for yourself." Havon showed him the script for that scene.
IC: Virthee"Really? My script has me getting struck by lightning while trying to hold off an entire army..." Virthee commented, noticing the very different scripts that each person seemed to have. "This is rather... strange to say the least."
IC: Havon"Huh...well, we're just have to improvise then, we're on!" Havon walked onto the stage, Mimira was already there, ready to play her part as well. The curtains opened....OOC: Who wants to start this off? ![]()
IC: VirtheeHe too walked up, right behind Havon, wondering just how the scene would play out. He just hoped that whatever happened, the orphans enjoyed the show.OOC: "Not I," said the Zoma
IC: [Ril]"So Le-Wahi eh," muttered the being as he jumped over a log. "Nice place it seems. Rather filled with trees too. And bugs, and animals, and the sounds of a performance ... wait, what?"The being turned to face where the sound came from, and quickly ran in the direction.
IC: IncursoIncurso was bored. It was obvious his target was no longer in Le-Wahi. But where, then? He had reliable information that Reichenbach had recently been here...As he walked through the jungle, he noticed a cave off to his right. He walked into it, aand found a strange device with four keys sticking out of the wall. He tried a few random combinations, but nothing seemed to work, so, noting the location in his mind, he walked away.
OOC: Can I?IC: (Uar)Uar stepped to the forefront of the stage, and narrated:"The valiant hero Hovan,Has delivered the princess from peril,But his troubles aren't overThere remains a final task.He must bring the mask in the dungeonsTo it's rightful place,But, on the wayWhat monsters and villians will he face?"He then receded to the background, waiting for the scene to start.
IC: "Yeah. A friend of mine called Tillian managed to kill one, but other than that, it was a bitter loss. I lost a leg, and many Po-Matoran were killed or injured. Repair efforts are still going on. They were looking for something in the Turaga's hut, but no one knows what it was." Readra replied mournfully, currently unaware of the Rahkshi battle that had occurred in Le-Wahi the previous day.IC: Lux - Le-KoroLux shrugged non-chalantly at Hakilve, "Meh, Toa randomly teleport next to me all the time. No biggie."Turning to Readra, he cocked his head in confusion, "Really? I didn't hear about anything."-Void
IC: Hekilve"Rahkshi," he cursed."I heard-tell that there was battle in Le-Koro not to long ago. I think that atleast one of evil creatures was downed."
IC: "Then it's good this village did not suffer the same fate as Po-Koro." Readra replied, a hint of hope in his voice.
((Sorry again that this took so long. To everyone who was interacting with Torc - I don't know if you guys are still here or not, so I'm going to have Torc leave the group. Hope that's okay. Anyway...))IC (Torc):Hefting his heavy blade, Torc turned and walked briskly into the jungle. Heading north, he quickly reached a thick swamp. The odour of rotting plant life filled the air. Tosc inhaled deeply - to him, the stench was invigorating. Wading out into the murky water, he moved carefully, following a winding, contorted route - he knew ways through this swamp while others would have to walk kio around. There were few trees in this part of the jungle, making it impenetrable to most beings. It was a perfect place.Eventually, he stepped out of the water, and began following a winding, slippery path up the side of a moss-encrusted cliff. Near the top, he stopped, and tugged on a seemingly unimportant vine. There was a brief tinkling of bells, and then a rock in the cliff face was slid aside by two grunting Matoran. Torc barely gave these two a glance - as Tamaiti, they were of the lowest rank and beneath contempt. They threw themselves at his feet, murmuring "Ngara." Torc grunted, and strode into the cave beyond.Though very dimly lit, dust motes could still be spotted floating and spiralling in the air, lit by the harsh orange glow of several animal fat lamps crudely bolted to the walls. Around the open area several figures sat beside firepits. Eyes closed and wrapped in heavy black wools, they could have been taken for statues - were it not for the low humming that pierced the ear and rattled the jaw. As the stench of burning flesh filled his nostrils, Torc grinned, suddenly more alive than ever.Striding to the centre of the room, where a broken stalagmite protruded from the floor like the horn of some great beast, Torc raised his arms."Hear me, Echo." he whispered.Immediately, the humming ceased, and a multitude of eyes suddenly glittered in the torchlight.Torc then began to make a low gutteral sound at the back of his throat. The five figures nearest the stalagmite - the Moea, his generals - took up the note. Every other being in the room began to thump a steady rhythm on the floor, be it with hand, foot or weapon. The drumming's tempo increased, and as the Echo began to work themselves into a frenzy, Torc screamed."Tonight!" he bellowed. "Tonight, we go to Le-Koro! Tonight, we feast on Toa!"((Really not happy with the post but anyway - The Echo are now open for joining! Feel free to have your character find the cave, discover them when they go to Le-Koro tonight or PM me if you need a story hook. Cheers!))
IC: Reordin (En Route to Gukko Force HQ, Le-Koro) Reordin found himself walking right beside Kethrye."I've never been to Le-Koro," Reordin admitted. "Do you know where we're going?"OOC: Should probably get this moving again...-TeezyIC: Kethrye:Kethrye began walking toward the Turaga's hut, navigating through the group of Matoran and other beings who had gathered to view the musical.
OOC: The Echo, eh? Is this something that is supposed to go along with the Song?IC-Raxa:Raxa waited for the play to end impatiently. Really, how long could something like this take? He grabbed his crossbow, bored, and decided to go hunting. As he left, he grabbed a small quiver to stick bolts in. Much faster than having to make a new bolt before each shot.As he walked through the Le-Wahi swamp, he heard a pounding, followed by some incoherent screech. He halted, looking around. There was nothing near him, there wasn't supposed to be-he wasn't at the hunting ground yet.He slowly moved in the direction of the sound, his crossbow held at the ready. He came near where he thought it loudest, and stopped. Nothing there, just a cliff. He frowned, and began climbing up. It must have been coming from above. As he climbed, vine by vine, suddenly he heard a tinkling. He released the vine he had a hold on, and the tinkling stopped. Interested, he tugged again, harder. He could hear bells, for some odd reason. As he hung there, trying to figure out just what was happening, a couple Matoran appeared out of nowhere, in a dimly-lit cave in the side of the cliff. Of course, Raxa thought, There's always a cave. He drew his knives, quickly killing the surprised Matoran and tossing their bodies out from the cave. He covered the opening again, and walked inside, towards the madness he had heard below.OOC: Does that work, Tahakki? ![]()
IC: Lux - Le-KoroLux nodded grimly, "Quite. These are dark days ahead. Most likely, things'll get a whole lot worse, before they get any better."He lowered his hands, unsheathing his sword. He did a couple of practice swings, almost resulting in him taking off his own head. As it was, he only ended up falling flat on his back."Well, that was marginally embarrassing," he muttered, before looking at the others, grinning nervously, "Do either of you guys no how to fight, by any chance?"-Void
IC: Readra gave Lux part of the truth, "I was a trained warrior off-island. I still didn't fair too well against Rahkshi, but I can fight, that's for sure." he left out the part where he killed innocents and sucked up to a tyrant. He was trying to gain their trust, not get shunned.
IC: Hakilve"I know how to fight reasonably well," he said, grinning, "If holding my own against four massive brutes counts.""Although," he added, "With this new Kanohi, I might not be as good."
IC:Cy stated, "I see a flaw in that plan. The Nui Rama will likely re-build the hive, quite possiblly bigger and stronger since they are under Makuta's control. To truly be effective, you need to remove the infected masks from the Nui-Rama themselves. That's a much bigger task, seeing as there are so many of them, and it has to be done head on, or gradually through more repeated guerrilla style attacks."OOC: Did not. Been busy with other things.IC: Madrihk"Well, this might sound crazy, but remember that it's why we're here: to do the impossible... with some help. You know that giant hive of infected Nui-Rama standing in the middle of Le-Wahi? Well, we're gonna break it. Crush it. Level it with the earth. No more shall it threaten Le-Koro. But in order to do that, we need help from the Gukko Force to draw the insects away. The structure is too sturdy to just set on fire or topple in a minute, we need some time to break the foundations and really destroy the place. It's a risky mission, and it requires a lot of resources. We are here to gather strength."Madrihk shrugged."If the Turaga or the Gukko Force Captain opposes the idea, we can't really do much. In that case we shall just keep amassing warriors until we can."OOC:Katuko, not sure if you went to Matau's hut or not yet.IC:"If you can explain this project to me, than I might be able to assist you in speaking to Matau. Having a native resident's support would obviously be beneficial." Cy answered.
IC: Lux - Le-KoroLux got back to his feet quickly, grinning madly now, "Great. Now, next question: Would either of you be willing to teach me? I've only got rudimentary training, and even that's pretty sad."-Void
IC: HakilveHe shrugged, "Why not? I'm not doing anything else anyways.""You mind telling me where you've been trained. Unless you wanna do that the fun way."
OOC: Sorry for the delay. Finally found the time to RP a bit. But I have some art that needs to be finished within the next three days, so I am under slight bit of pressure.IC:Rhow looked at Iraanus and shrugged. "Never had to deal with them myself..." Rhow said, tentatively. What Iraanus had said took her a few moments of quiet to process. Not seen in a hundred years. Sons of Makuta. Something was definitely foul on this Island. She had felt it ever since she had gotten to the place. But now that foulness became more concrete, something tangible, more than just a shadow hanging over everything, a darkness representing an actual threat. The Skakdi sighed."Truth be told, Iraanus, I haven't had to deal with anything but the wild since I got here. All this Rahkshi-business, the Toa running around on this forsaken rock in the ocean, that's all above my head." she admitted.
IC: Madrihk (Le-Koro)"That's true. I hadn't thought of that. The hive has taken years to reach the size and strength it has today, though. Breaking it would still weaken the swarm as a whole for a long time, especially if the Matoran keep pressing to hold them off."IC:Cy stated, "I see a flaw in that plan. The Nui Rama will likely re-build the hive, quite possiblly bigger and stronger since they are under Makuta's control. To truly be effective, you need to remove the infected masks from the Nui-Rama themselves. That's a much bigger task, seeing as there are so many of them, and it has to be done head on, or gradually through more repeated guerrilla style attacks."
IC: Lux - Le-KoroLux shook his head meekly, "You're just going to think I'm crazy...er."-Void
