BZPRPG: Onu-Wahi

OOC: What do you intend to do with Laz after he's gone?IC: TonitriumTonit grabbed a stone and smashed away a large chunk of the ice. As he continued to free his idiotic comrade, he began to think about his decision, about what life would be like from that point on.

IC: NekronNekron teleported back to Arkrak. "You know what? I've had a change of heart."

IC-Aclaraung:"Oh?" Aclaraung growled. "I do hope you aren't planning on assassinating him, Zarnarax," the Dragon said. "It'd just ruin your plans for nonviolence."

IC: [Arkrak]"And that change of heart is?"

IC: Nekron"I'm not going to kill you. In fact, we're just going to walk back to The Unfortunate Fikou like none of this ever happened."IC: Zarnarax"Assassinations are messy, as you well know. Messiness isn't really my thing, although some sacrifices must be made. But rest assured, Laz will not be leaving by any hand but his own."

IC-Aclaraung:"I've known you and your brother long enough that I'm not going to believe you when you say that," the Dragon said, then shook his head."Oh well. If there's a bloody mess in the tunnels tomorrow, I'll know who to blame. Now, why specifically did you want me as your right-hand man?"

IC: Zarnarax"I have had a change of heart, Aclaurang. I see now that we can never win by making our own rules, but that we must play by theirs." Zarnarax explained. "But, as for why I picked you, there are two reasons. The first is exactly what I said it was — so that you can keep an eye on me. The second, however, is so that I can keep an eye on you, and the same goes for Aru."

IC-Aclaraung:"I see that with your change of heart has come a change of policy, when dealing with me," Aclaraung said. "Why is it only now that you decide I need to be watched?"

IC: Zarnarax"Because only now do I have the power to. Before, I was alone and outcast, a small band of loyal followers my only company."

IC-Aclaraung:"And yet it was still possible to keep an eye on me, even then." Aclaraung's reptillian eyes narrowed, glaring at Zarnarax."What exactly are you hiding, fruit-bat?" He growled.OOC: Fruit-bat. Derogatory term for a stupix/crazy/hyper Mystix.That I came up with myself and think fits rather well as an insult among them.

OOC: :PIC: Zarnarax"There is an old phrase, Aclaraung: keep your friends close..." Zarnarax's eyes narrowed in return. "And your enemies even closer."

IC-Aclaraung:"I know the saying," Aclaraung growled. "And yet you didn't follow it until now, when before you still had the ability, and I doubt your ascension to leadership has granted you a sudden wisdom as well."

IC: Zarnarax"Until now, you were more a nuisance than an enemy. I had nothing to lose and, therefore, no reason to worry about you. But now, I am the leader of the Mystix. Everything, from my own pride to the pride of our species, is suddenly at stake. You and Aru despise the Mystix, that much you have made clear. I cannot be sure that you will not attempt something similar to the act that she performed so many years ago."

OOC: Hound & Co, from Ga-WahiIC: Hound & Co, Onu-WahiHound strode through the tunnels leading to Onu-Wahi's main city, his face like stone, and his movements containing measured amounts of energy, showing perfect control over his body. A sickly-thin Toa of Ice walked behind him, a cloak billowing around him, and a hood pulled low, over his eyes. To his right, a Toa of Iron walked calmly, using a massive war-hammer as a walking-stick.They were an unusual bunch, fugitives, retired mercenaries. They were once the most dangerous assassians on the island, uncaring and lacking emotion, willing to switch sides in the middle of a battle, as long as someone made a better offer. And now, one of their own had been taken from them. Any other being would be insane to do so, but her captor had a reputation as large as Hound's own.IC: Onyx, The Depths of the CatacombsOnyx made no move as the massive doors to his throne-room were opened, and Raveian silently slipped inside. "My lord," the twisted, abnormal Toa of Sonics said slowly, his voice like the sounds of thousands, chattering, roars, and other less describable things mixed together. "Hound has entered the Wahi. The others are with him..." Onyx stood up at this, making Raveian fall to all fours and skitter back, not in fear, but in respect. Well, perhaps an amount of fear was there as well. "War has begun. Gather the others." Onyx said, drawing his broadsword from it's sheath. With one smooth motion, he leapt into the air, raised the sword above his head, and drove it through the crystal floor as he landed. The diamond and onyx floor cracked hideously, spreading asymmetric looks to the previously perfect area. "Let this mark the rebirth of our feud." He growled as he drew it from the ground.

IC-Raxa:Raxa fell into the back of Hound's group, beside Kirian. He had picked up a warhammer from an Onu-Matoran smith, and the protosteel weapon hung at his belt, next to his tomahawk. His crossbow was slung on his back, and his two long knives were in his hands as he walked along with the group, keeping an eye behind them in case anybody felt like a sneak attack."Did I miss much?" He asked Hound, continuing his lookout.

IC: [Arkrak]"What is this change of heart?"

IC-Aclaraung:"So...what you're saying is that, after I spen hundreds of years away from the Mystix, doing what I could to avoid all of you...you think I'll try to attack you and lock you up again?" Aclaraung stared at Zarnarax, amazed at the Mystix's stupidity."You didn't think this through, did you?"

IC: Zarnarax"I have thought it through perfectly. While it is very much unlikely that such a thing would happen, I would prefer to be safe when it comes to things such as these."

IC: Zongu"YOU DIDN'T ANSWER ARKRAK'S QUESTION!" Zongu roared, stirring in his unconsciousness, yet still breaking the fourth wall somehow.

IC: [Arkrak]"The unconscious man speaks truth."

IC-Aclaraung:"It's unlikely to the point that thinking it might happen is absurdity, Zarnarax," Aclaraung growled. "You may claim to be smarter than your brother, but I have yet to see it. I'm thinking I should have just taken my chance to kill you both, so many years ago."

OOC: @Hub & Wotz: Actually, I did. Hub posted the same question twice for some reason, even though I had already answered it.IC: Zarnarax"I am more intelligent than my brother. Intelligent enough to recognise that, although you would not do such a thing on your own, should you make an alliance with another of our enemies we would be placed in danger. I see it as my job to break or prevent the formation of unnecessary and/or unwanted alliances."

IC: Hound & Co, Onu-Wahi"Only the beginning of the end." Hound said with even less cheer than normal. "Onyx is sure to know we're here by now. You might just get a chance to get your revenge of Luncora." He said, his voice calm, acting like what he was speaking about was meaningless. IC: Hajia, Torture room (Depths of the Catacombs)After Luncora's brief torture, Hajia was once again greeted by Halion, who started the pain without speaking. As he continued, the pain grew so that she would scream the answers to any question he asked, but her tormentor never spoke. After those terrible hours, she was left alone in her chair, now painted red with her blood. Wound covered her entire torso, spreading like webs over her limbs and face. Breathing slowly, she coughed, spewing the a disturbing amount of the vital red liquid inside her everywhere, and the returned to her labored breathing, blood dripping from her mouth.What could have been minutes, hours, or days after -this helllish places seemed to rebel against time, for it was impossible to tell how long it was between anything- the worst torture yet, Halion re-entered the room. "I have made you scream until your ears have bled... I have made you drink your own life-force, and then spit it out, only to restart... I have taken you to the edge of death, and then I dragged you back... And I have yet to start the real interrogation." He said, pacing in front of the once-beautiful Toa of Water.Pausing, he snapped his fingers. A pair of grey and black, uneasy-looking skakdi carried in a a chair, covered with a sheet of cloth. Even as blood covered her eyes, Hajia could see the shape of a being underneath the cloth. As soon as they set the chair down, the skakdi stepped back into the shadows. With flourish, Halion pulled the cloth back, revealing Gahuari, in a state as disgusting as Hajia's own. The Ga-Matoran moaned softly, her small frame twitching in pain and agony.OOC: So that's where she was..

IC-Raxa:"I'm less concerned with that than getting Hajia out of there," Raxa growled. "I take it that Tajeh didn't find Gahuari?" He asked after a moment, expecting the Ga-Matoran to be in the same state as Hajia.

IC(Tajeh):"Ayiyiyiyiyiyiyiyiyiyiyi-Ooof!"Tajeh hit the ground hard and rolled. He sat up rather quickly and grabbed his head."Agh, what the kraz?"He looked about him as he fixed his mask. He was in a tunnel, no doubt. It must be an old Oun-Koroan access tunnel that was built awhile back."Well, this has to lead somewhere..." he groaned as he stood up and started walking. It didn't matter which direction he walked in, he was lost either way.

OOC: @TBP: You wrote 'Oun-Koro' again. :sly:IC: IncursoAn arrow sped through the space over Raxa's head. It only barely avoiding scraping against him, the aim was so good.It was not, of course, a miss — it went where it was intended to go, as an indication of Incurso's arrival. Perhaps not all that subtle, but effective nonetheless.

IC: Hound & Co, Onu-Wahi"Do not ask questions of which you already know the answer." Hound said calmly, an unusual amount of hostility in his voice. Pausing, he tensed, his hands moving and snatching around him, as if throttling a thousand beings at once.Kirian silently slipped his bow of his back as Tirus grabbed his warhammer with his other hand as well. "They're here." He murmured, staring into the darkness of the tunnel before them.

IC: Pirok, Nikarra & The ShadowPirok sat, staring awkwardly at Nikarra. "So...""Yeah..." Nikarra lifted her head from the table. "Look, I'm sorry for how I went all weird last night, and—"She was cut off as the door of The Unfortunate Fikou creaked open, and a Vortixx walked in — a Vortixx Pirok had never expected to see again. "Why, hello there.""You!" Pirok jumped up, his hands aflame."Yes. Me." The Shadow chuckled. "Why, were you expecting someone else?""You died.""No I didn't. I lost my hat. There's a difference." He explained, before looking at Nikarra. "Well, would you look at that?! You've gotten yourself a girlfriend! And a pretty one too.""Pirok, who the Karz is this creep?" Nikarra prepared her own weapon."Feisty. I like that." The Shadow moved closer to Nikarra, only to be stopped by a fireball from Pirok."This psychotic Brakas is The Shadow.""I didn't know you thought so highly of me." He said, stepping back. "I guess that nuisance of a Toa of Air went and got himself properly killed, then?""Don't talk about my friend like that." Pirok growled."Judging by your current level of aggression, I'm guessing the answer is 'yes'."

OOC: Could you link the answer?IC: [Arkrak]"I have a sudden feeling that something climatic has occurred."

IC(Tajeh): The tunnel seemed to last forever. It twisted and turned, rose and fell. There was no end to it. "I won't be surprised if I end up in Makuta's Lair." he murmured to himself.

IC-Raxa:"I figured getting a second opinion would be a good idea," Raxa said, then turned around."Incurso, stay back here with me, and pull out a different weapon if you have one. A bow isn't very useful down here, though a couple knives might be." The Toa of Crystal then turned back around, his own knives still in his hands."I would ask what the plan is now," the Toa of Crystal muttered, "But that'd just be giving it away to them. I guess I'll just have to go with the flow.

IC: Hound & Co, Onu-Wahi"Why, you're a bright one, aren't you?" A sly, seductive voice said in response to Raxa's statment, originating from the shadows in front of them.Even Kirian seemed surprised by the fact it was a female speaking. "Must have hired new thugs. Probably killed his previous ones." He murmured as he pulled an arrow out of his quiver.

IC-Raxa:"I see the glassman found himself some new groupies," Raxa said, keeping his ears alert in case the female moved. "Honestly, I can't say I'm fond of the change. His last group seemed smarter to me."

OOC: Hub, it's the fifth post on this page. XDIC: IncursoIncurso didn't put away his bow, but kept watch.

OOC: Oh.IC: [Arkrak]"So you aren't going to kill me?"

IC: GravitySword, check.Armor, check.Mask, check.Tentacles...Yeah... Right, check.Well, I certainally remembered my part of the plan, but I wasn't sure if anyone else did. "Wait, what?" I asked, obviously a bit confused.Not a good thing when your about to fight for your life.

IC: Caige (Onu-Wahi)Suddenly, in front of the group's eyes, a blowdart whizzed by and soared past the sound of the female's voice."Heeeeeeeere's Johnny," a singsong voice rang out.-Teezy

IC-Raxa:"Hullo," Raxa said to Caige, notifying that he was there. "Good, I've got my little group set up. You two, Caige and Incurso, now get to help find a couple of our friends, thank you for signing up."

IC: GravityI ignored the being who seemed less-then-sane. Karz, what am I thinking? We're all insane here. First requirement of being a Toa.Insanity, check."Wazzup?"

IC: Kuhrin"Did you hear about the battle going on in Le-Wahi? Apparently some army's gone and attacked the Nui Rama Hive.""Good luck with that, they're gonna get slaughtered."Two Matoran pushed a cart through the tunnels of Onu-Wahi. In the cart was a variety of goods, ranging from masks, weapons, armour, tools and other assorted items. The first was a purple-Ruru-masked, wide-eyed young Onu-Matoran, and the second a stout Po-Matoran with a burnt-orange Akaku and an air of superiority. They had been talking like this for the whole journey, the younger one telling rumours he heard, and the older responding with a snarky quip. They did this all the time, and got fairly good money from it, too. They didn't usually get attacked by Rahi or any of the many other hazards on trade routes because their cargo wasn't very precious, and there were only two of them. Most enemies didn't see them as worth it.Kuhrin and Krell were not most enemies. The Toa of Sonics and Blackfire were essentially invisible in the darkness as they closed in on the Matoran. To the trader's eyes, it was just a particular spot where the lightstone had been lost or stolen or something. But Makuta's servants knew otherwise."Something feels weird about this darkness... It's seems really... Creepy." said the Onu-Matoran, looking around, which was met by a snort from the Po-Matoran, who was about to say something when he disappeared.A shrill cry filled the air, and four Rahkshi surrounded the cart. The Onu-Matoran had heard about the Rahkshi attack in Po-Koro, about how the Rahkshi were looking for something they didn't find, about how they attacked a trade caravan shortly before the battle. And with this in mind, he threw himself in front of the cart, "No! I won't let you!"OOC: That's your cue, Krell The point of this attack is to lead the good guys astray, so let the Matoran go, if you please.And by the way to anyone who hasn't read my earlier posts, these Rahkshi are illusions, and a shapeshifted Kuhrin.
