IC: Zongu"That doesn't sound good... Go check it out, I'll take care of this lot."
IC: KeuirceKeuirce sighed, and set off towards the site of the explosion.
IC: ZonguZongu dived into the middle of the room and sent out an expanding dome of magnetic push-y-ness, to scatter the Mystix present (save Aclaraung, who was still somehow immune to his magnetic powers).
IC: AruAru hit a wall. "What was that for?!"
IC: Zongu"You're the bad guys!"
IC: (The Infernavika)Perkahn's eyes slit open. For some inexplicable storyline reason, the famous Matoran folk song "Heart of Courage" by the great band Two Steps From Karz seemed to be playing in the background all throughout his dreams. It wasn't a logical thing that said tune would still be playing in his head now, though. Because when he looked around, he didn't see the - relatively - familiar sight of his cabin. No, somehow, Artakha knows how, he ended up in the captain's cabin, in Raknar's cabin. He sat up, still hoping this was some sort of nightmare. Firstly, Raknar's bed seemed rather disturbingly alive - some sort of slithery creatures, he knew, had made it their home. Second, he knew this was such a breach of conduct that Mata Nui knows what might've followed.
IC: Before Perkahn had a chance to further examine his surroundings, a plushie came hurtling in through the open door, slamming itself with full velocity into the wall above the captain's bed. As it tumbled to the ground, Perkahn picked it up and turned it over, noticing that it was sculpted in the image of a dapper looking Skakdi of Stone: Raknar Seprillian.Three words were emblazoned into his jacket: Slap countdown: begin.-Teezy
IC: Zarnarax"No, we are not. We are your equals, and we are neutral. We see no reason to destroy or harm your kind in any way." Zarnarax explained, calmly, brushing some dust off himself.
IC: (The Infernavika)"Not this," Perkahn moaned, as he stood up and forced himself out the door. "Well, if that's how he wants to play, he'll get it. Perkahn Highwind doesn't like to sleep on that unstable a bed. It's almost as if he'd been jumping on it all day long."He straightened his clothes and raised his hand, glancing at it, as if examining it. "Slap away, Seprillian."
IC: Zongu"So... Why did you attack Le-Koro? And Xa-Koro?"
IC: Sinina, Onu-WahiSinina stepped back once, twice, and then a third time, letting his attacks pass before here. Focusing, she waited until one of his attacks passed, and then struck out with her palms, sending seven (Perhaps eight, it would be hard to count something moving so fast) arcs of lightning shooting out at once. Raxa was rather close. In fact, very close. Just to make matters worse, Luncora used his Kanohi to create a Telekentic grab around Raxa, holding him in place as well as he could. His Pakari could certianly shatter the psychic bonds with ease, but the concentration required to use the Kanohi would very well leave him open to the lightning. Speaking of being open to attacks, Luncora was rather open himself, thanks to having his feet stuck to the floor.OOC: Did Vorex ever write an Incurso post? I was looking for one, but I don't see anything...IC-Raxa:Raxa limbo'd under the pole, but lost his balance and rolled away. Coming back up, he noticed the Wakizashi. Metallic weapon, it wouldn't do Sinina much good to try and electrocute him with it...unless it had a rubberized grip, like his tomahawk did. Raxa thought for a moment, and smiled."I don't think you realize how the molecules in your sword are arranged, m'dear," the Toa of Crystal said. "In fact, I can slightly manipulate it myself." Raxa concentrated on the sword. He couldn't affect the metal itself, but could affect the arrangement, subtly altering the crystalline matrix that the sword's metal had, the sword taking a slightly darker colour due to a miniscule amount of carbon being released. It may have taken a bit of concentration, and Raxa may have been sweating a bit, but it was definitely worth it.Now the Wakizashi wouldn't be quite as strong as before. It could still hold a deadly edge, yes, and could still kill, though it might bend as easily as bronze. That thought over with, Raxa quickly spun, lashing out with his tomahawk and hammer in a circular range of battering attacks.
IC-Raxa:Activate his Pakari Raxa did, though too late to instantly shrug out of the bonds-the lightning hit him. His muscles twitched all over as he was shocked, his Pakari-enhanced strength showing. He inadvertently lashed out, crushing a hand into the rock. Exerting his considerable force of will, the Toa of Crystal withdrew the rock, glaring at Sinina. He raised his arm, before smashing the rock down, hard, basically throwing the head-sized rock at the other Toa's head from point-blank range, before he turned to Luncora, running at the Toa of Magnetism, now that Sinina had apparently lost her concentration, either dodging out of the way, getting killed/injured, or finding some way to destroy the rock.
IC: Sinina & Luncora, Onu-WahiSinina grabbed the rock as Raxa slammed it down, going with the force, and falling back with the blow. She landed normally, and flipped back to her feet without wait. Sheathing her Wakizashi, she drew her two Katanas, and ran foward, swinging them expertly at Raxa's back in a flurry of slashes.Luncora, his elemental energy recharging, concentrated, causing a wave of telekentic force on top of Gravity, pressing him to the ground. Seeing as the Toa would have to concentrate to avoid / neutralize the wave, his feet were loosened, though he showed no sign of it. Holding his Zweihander with both hands, he waited for Raxa to attack.OOC: Hope that wasn't too bunny-ish. Gravity hasn't posted in a bit, so I felt it would be okay to let my character out of his bonds.
IC-Raxa:Raxa had been charging at Luncora, a gleeless, wolfish grin on his face as he drew his warhammer. However, Sinina wasn't being careful-he heard her steps, as well as the hiss of metal on leather as they were unsheathed. He turned out of the way, shoving the attacking Sinina towards Luncora, in a move worthy of Lhikan.Make the enemy attack each other. Raxa rolled away into the shadows, where he wouldn't be easily seen, exerting his control over crystal to break most of the light stones in the hall, his powerful sight truly kicking in-he could see rather well in the dark, well enough to make an accurate shot from one-hundred fifty meters away with his crossbow.
IC: Zarnarax"I already explained that, you moron! I am now in charge of the Mystix, and have initiated a policy of non-violence. It was under the leadership of my idiotic brother, Ignotus, that the Mystix attempted to take control of Mata-Nui by force." Zarnarax sighed.
IC: Assorted Characters, Onu-WahiSinina felt the push, and instantly stopped, freezing mid-swing. She skidded to a stop, Luncora next to her. Unfortunately for Raxa, there was someone among them that could navigate in the dark better than all others. Raveian. The Toa of Sonics used his Sonar like a bat, Activating his Kanohi as he shot foward, hovering over the ground. In seconds he was in the same main tunnel as the others, his bow drawn. Never pausing, he began to shoot arrow after sonic arrow at Raxa, each one exploding when it came into physical contact with something.
IC-Raxa:The first arrow missed, barely, alerting Raxa to what happened. Raxa quickly moved about, checking his position. Sinina and Luncora were in a direct line with him, none of the others in the way. If Raxa dodged at just the right moment, the sonic arrow would fly over before Raveian could even notice, injuring or killing the two other Toa.Raxa stood directly in line with them, staring down at Raveian. Five...Raveian drew back. Four...The arrow formed. Three...He released. Two-Raxa jumped. One-the arrow spead straight past him, moving at the speed of sound down towards Sinina and Luncora.Heartbeats were much better for measuring time in battle than seconds.
IC: Raveian, Onu-WahiMuch to Raxa's surprise, the arrow didn't fly at Luncora and Sinina. For Luncora and Sinina where no longer there. True, the arrow did hit where they were previously sitting, but no Toa resided there any more. Sinina and Luncora had both rolled in opposite directions as soon as the first arrow had been fired. Their descision was now justified. Hound and Tirus were now up and fine, but the darkness Raxa had caused was disabling. Tirus stumbled along, walking towards the sounds of battle, while Hound stood back, waiting for the right moment. Raveian, still using Sonar, calmly walked towards Raxa, a sonic arrow humming in his bow, waiting to be fired.
IC-Raxa:Raxa could hear the hum, barely, and felt he'd try a similar tactic. He started to hum, matching the exact pitch of the arrow, making it seem as though another Toa of Sonics was close. He then tossed a small crystal, making a noise off towards Raveian's left. Now, normally that would be a diversion to make the Toa/Rahi chasing you look to the sound. Not with Raveian, he was too smart-so Raxa used a different tactic. He ran silently along to the crystal, still humming as he jumped, activating his Pakari and digging his fingers into the ceiling of the cave, from which he began to move, hanging upside down.
IC: Zongu"Hey man, calling me a moron isn't going to make me think you're a non-violent guy, in fact, it makes me think you're just using it as a cover or something like that. You ever hear that ballad about the guy that did the thing?"
IC: Zarnarax"I'm calling you a moron BECAUSE YOU ARE A MORON. There is no cover-up involved. If I were violent, you would be dangling from a rope being gnawed at by rats over a near-bottomless pit, and when you did hit the bottom, I would recover your body and then stab you repeatedly, just to make sure you were dead." Zarnarax growled. "But I'm not, so I won't."
IC: (The Infernavika)Perkahn, after washing the remains of sleep out of his eyes, headed straight for the above-deck. Emerging on the surface of the ship, he was surprised in no little bit to find them no longer in the waters around Po-Wahi; so he waved to anyone currently there and said, "Good morning. Or day. Or evening. Or whatever this is right now. What'd I miss?"In the meanwhile that it took for anyone to answer, he took a quick sharp glance around for any sign of Raknar. He wasn't unfamiliar to this new game Seprillian had thought of. Perkahn, after all, had once slapped a Muaka repeatedly until it decided running was the best option.
IC: Raveian, Onu-WahiRaveian looked directly at the Toa climbing on the ceiling. Sonar doesn't stop working when someone's humming. Pointing the bow at the cave roof just ahead of Raxa -and still quite a bit away from Raveian-, Raveian fired. The shot would either 1 : Causing Raxa to loose his grip, and fall to ground, 2 : If Raxa let go and fall to the ground, and be blinded momentarily by the debris, or 3 : Other. Any outcome, Raveian had a plan to follow it up.
OOC: That wasn't supposed to stop the Sonar, it was supposed to mess with Raveian's head.IC-Raxa:Just what Raxa was waiting for. Using his crystal sense, he'd found a pocket of Lightstone material, bright and glowing, just above the roof of the tunnel. He punched it, hard, sending a crack spidering along as he jumped off.The sound arrow hit, the debris temporarily blinding Raxa...but it also served to shield him from most of the light, protecting his eyes. After a second he ran out, knives in hand and ready to kill somebody.
IC: Zongu"That's a very complicated plan for something you won't ever do..."
IC: Zarnarax"I'm a pretty complicated person." Zarnarax shrugged.
IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak twitched.
IC(Tajeh): The sound of battle woke Tajeh back to reality. He groaned as he stood up and leaned against the wall. He was bruised all over, maybe even had some broken bones. Worse of all, he could hear the battle but he couldn't see anything. Someone destroyed the lightstones.
IC: Topspin sighed. "Prime, there arnt no Phantems in thiz Mata Nui forsakun Karz'ole."Ratchet sniffed. "We can't be sure. I think the Phantoms are mobilizing.""They must know we're scouting as well. However, any forces of note would have done something by now, or tried to stop us. We check the Islets, then Po-Wahi." Optimus led them out to the shores, and across the coast, above ground now. He rented a boat for 20 widgets. "Ratchet, you're steering."OOC: Optimus, Ratchet, and two Bay Wreckers to Kumu Islets.
IC: KeuirceKeuirce saw the twitching Arkrak, and Nekron. "Oh, Karz."He quickly ran off, and returned with a few hospital-people with two stretchers, and Nekron and Arkrak were each placed on one and pulled away.
IC: [Arkrak]Arkrak twitched slightly.
IC:The two Toa were brought into the hospital, and left in hospital beds right beside each-other.
OOC: Time skipping.IC: [Arkrak]After a while resting in the bed, Arkrak slowly arose."Ow."
IC: NekronNekron looked over at him. They had both suffered serious burns. "Hello, Arkrak."OOC: Incommodo to Le-Wahi.
IC: [Arkrak]"Hello Evil Inc."
IC: Raveian & Co, Onu-WahiWith a roar of pain, Raveian stepped back, his eyes (And head, for that matter) feeling as if they were melting. It was time to end this feud, for Onyx's patience was sure to wear thin. Using his sonar a final time, Raveian located Luncora and Sinina, grabbing them by the back of their necks. Turning to face the exit to the Koro, Raveian covered himself with a bubble of silence, focused, and then filled the air around the bubble with intense, crippling sound. A final mocking attack, in response to the lightstone trickery. His eyes clearing, Raveian leaped into the air, activating his Kanohi. In seconds, he was at the entrance of the Koro, and mere minutes later, walking in the tunnels of the catacombs. OOC: About time that fight ended. XD
IC-Raxa:Raxa smiled, then fell to the ground in pain, though he was laughing. He covered his ears for a moment, tearing off parts of his cloak for earplugs until the sound died down. He then stood, removing the earplugs-though his ears were still ringing slightly."Well, now that that's over with, shall we continue along?" He asked, the lightstones having been vibrated to the point most of them cracked, darkening the tunnel quickly.
IC(Tajeh): Tajeh grabbed his ears when the sound attack reached him. It felt like his head would crack, but as soon as it came, it ended. Tajeh felt around his body to see if anything was broken or not. He touched his left wrist and pain shot up his arm. It felt broken, maybe fractured. Either way, his shield was useless now. He walked forward a few steps until he saw some light. "Tirus?" he called out as he walked towards it.
IC: Tirus, Onu-Wahi"Here, lad." The Toa of Iron murmured, walking foward, using his warhammer as a cane. Glancing at Tajeh's wrist, Tirus's eyes widened. "You might want to get that looked at." Hound nodded at Raxa, continuing towards Onu-Koro without speaking.
OOC: The following takes place before all the expies are teleported to Ko-Wahi.IC: PhantomsThe small crowd of colourful characters stood grouped around a lightstone-lit platform. Carved statues of old Phantom and Deceptoa leaders lined the walls, and on the platform was, aside from the throne present leaders sat in, stood Zaruthan, Mystix of plasma (formerly air), wearing what looked like special purple garments and armour with golden lining. Beside him stood an anonymous, black-armoured Skakdi holding a golden crown with red jewels embedded in it. Four green-armour Toa played trumpets off to the side: A hired fanfare. A typically (for Zar) overblown scene, for what he deemed his coronation. As the fanfare drew to a close, all present assumed that the coronation was about to start. The Skakdi leaned over to place the crown on Zar's head, and- The fanfare kicked off again, suddenly, causing some to jump in surprise, followed by several grunts of annoyance."Get on with the ceremony!" Zar screeched, hastily urging the Skakdi to put the crown on his head, but the fanfare continued nonetheless... And had their trumpets melted, burning their hands. With that, the Skakdi fitted the crown on to the Mystix's head and stepped off the platform as Zar stepped forth and overlooked his new minions. Some didn't appear to like him, but they would learn to obey him."My fellow Phantoms... As your new leader, I must give a moment of remembrance to our former leader, Galvatroth, who died horrifically in battle." he bowed his head with a smirk, prompting the others to do the same, but their eyes hadn't even reached the floor when he continued his speech, "I also hereby revoke all of your... Codenames. If you do not remember your real name, then, well, tough luck, you can get one or get out." one or two members of the group gritted their teeth at his condescending tone, "I must also give a few rule changes, which are not yet set in stone (due to being WIPs) but over time you will come to learn and understand them. One which I must stress is that all treasure and riches were acquire must first be given to me without fail or exception. Breaking of this rule will result in death, or whatever else my genius mind can come up with.""GAAAHHH! Eat this, Genius!" bellowed one of his minions, Koharax, leaping forth and firing blasts from his shotgun. Zaruthan simply took this as an opportunity to demonstrate his power over these simpletons, and melted the ground beneath where his foot was about to land. Koharax couldn't stop, and as such found himself knee-deep in plasma, which expanded to engulf his whole body until he was nothing but a pile of goop on the ground."Any further objections?" Zar's words were met with silence, "Good. Now then, I- WHAT?!"Everyone present vanished.OOC: And now he's the leader. They're all in Ko-Wahi now, so are not open for barging in on ![]()
