  • IC: KuhrinThe Matoran jumped in surprise as one of the Rahkshi bound his shoulders in it's iron grip, it's cold, merciless eyes glaring into his soul. It's armour was pitched and broken, like an infected mask, and it's face looked somehow different from the others, thought the Matoran could not put his finger on it. But the worst came when the creature opened it's mouth... And spoke."Feeeaaarrr the will of Makuta..." it hissed, it's voice reminding him of a Muaka's claws scraping across slate. "There is no life... In the void..." a huge vortex of broken body parts began to materialise behind them, an infected Hau at it's core, with empty, lifeless eyes. The Rahkshi picked him up by the throat and pinned him against the wall. "...Only... Death!" the creature's staff zipped towards him, a tentacle of blackfire lashed out from the side and the vortex exploded. All the Matoran could do was close his eyes and wait for the end...An end which never came. The Matoran cracked open his right eye to see his friend was somehow alive, and the world was just as it was before the Rahkshi, before the evil Toa, before... The void. Was it a dream? A hallucination? Whatever it was, he didn't want to experience it again.***"That illusion should last a while. We'll be long gone before he realises his friend is a phony." Kuhrin grinned. "Now Krell, I hope our little instilling of fear hasn't ruined your appetite... Because I have something to show you. This way." he led his fellow Makuta follower through a pitched black tunnel, the huge smile plastered on his face as he did so.OOC: Happy Naming Day Gravs cool.png

A few black flames were still visible on his rusted and pitted armor.Unserprisingly, he found instilling fear to be rather realaxing and enjoyable. Although, a small part of his mind reasoned, I'm not sure if it's just my mask

  • OOC: I'll make the starting post for us, Vezon, Gravity. Also, we are NOT to get involved with D.A.V.E.'s plot. It'll get too complicated.IC(Tosp): Oun-Wahi. Underground. Dark. Not the most fun spot to go on the island, but it was needed to get to Kini-Nui. Tosp looked at Tupua then Kythera, being in the middle. "If you're afraid of creepy crawlies, shadows or miners, best not share now." he joked as he wrapped his arms around both of them. "It won't do you any good."

  • IC:Tupua looked to his left at Tosp, with a raised eyebrow. "The shadows don't scare me." he stated, plainly. He was looking ahead. Something told him they were going to make progress here. He wasn't quite sure where the certainty came from. Perhaps it was just the change of scenery and the traveling that made him feel that way."Though...the crawlies might be unsettling." he added, with a straight face, but obviously joking.

"Well," she said, "a bit too late for that now."Kythera herself found dark, enclosed places unsettling; but she figured any sane being would. "Now, if I remember correctly, we can either take the tunnels that lead us through Onu-Koro, and then get to where we need to go," she said, "Or, we can go straight through, which is faster; but safety isn't guaranteed."

Even without his mask, he had quite a bit of strength. "Safety or speed? Hmm...Well, how important is finding your teammates, Tupua?" Tosp asked, looking at the Toa under his arm.

  • OOC: *Cracks knuckles* Onu-Koro entrance post, here I come.IC: Hound & Co, Onu-KoroAs the group journeyed foward, the tunnels became wider, dirt became stone, a single lightstone was replaced with several. Darkness, seemingly animated in the flickering shadows, could progress no further, for the tunnel to Onu-Koro's light forbid it. Pausing at the end of the tunnel, Hound surveyed the sprawling metropolis of Onu-Koro. Tunnels and caves connected patches and clusters of buildings, some large enough to house dozens, others small enough for only a few. A few earthen and stone bridges connected caves over a frightening abyss, forcing the traveling to risk the fatal fall to cross, single-file and rushed. Light was scarce, even more so that the original tunnel Hound had taken. But the darkness added to the beauty of this hidden city, a world of it's own. On most days, these would be Hound's thoughts. But now, in this dark time, only mechanical, observational, brief thoughts filled his mind. Possible exit routes, possible weapons, possible cover and defense points... beauty had been replaced with usefulness. So are the ways of war.

His father's corpse had been disposed of rather quickly, he knew, but Raxa still held a key to the house."If anybody wants to rest up, grab a quick meal, and visit a small armoury, I can lead us to a spot," Raxa said after a moment of thought.

OOC: Umm... no. I don't think I was cueing you to do anything. What did you think the cue was? Anyway, Hatann from Ko-wahi.IC: This part of Onu-wahi was one of the least inhabited regions of the island - almost all the Onu-matoran lived below the surface, leaving the top virtually untouched. Hatann had travelled this way a few times before, and once had to use it to hide out from his enemies. The place was riddled with holes and caves that lead underground, but Hatann was looking for a particular one. Eventually he found it at the base of a small cliff. Here, there was a hole in the sandstone formation right where it met the ground, just big enough for a Skakdi to crawl through. He bent down and entered, beofre falling 100 bio to the floor of a deep underground cave - the same one where he had forst told Kaerhi about NEX. To avoid killing himself when he hit the ground, he lessen his gravity enough to land gently."Home, sweet home" he said to himself, and went to unlock his secret cave.

  • IC-Grochi:"You could easily strong-arm your way to the top," Grochi said. "The Turaga are gone, and the guards are at their weakest. However, starting a rule such as that would not work the best. You could become rich and buy everybody out, but once you lost your money you would lose your followers."Influencing the leaders is a bit of a good choice, but you can never account for who is truly a puppet and who is only acting as one. The better way is subversion-convince others that you're truly out to help. If you have a good enough plan, you'll quickly gain willing support. Then, find ways to convince them that those in the lead now are corrupt, and remember to use examples and twist the truth, or convert them to your true cause slowly."Subversion is, basically, a better tactic than either of those you mentioned.

  • IC Yasurek-Infernavika:"Who said anything about a lasting rule?" Yasurek asked. "This seems to be more of a fun project ot do until it's completed. The way I'm currently seeing it is that actually getting to the point where one rules the world is much more entertaining than the actual act of ruling it. Even if we actually took over the world with one of those less efficient methods we would have still taken over the world and it's not like it would be that hard to leave and avoid any retribution. I'm not a very memorable person and it's very easy for people to forget about me so I'd be fine."

  • IC Yasurek-Infernavika:"Scoff all you want, the idea is plausible. And come now, do you really think it's hard for a ko-matoran to hide from society. The ammount of hermits who live in seclusion in Mt. Ihu's wasteland must be rather large, and yet they still can't be found very easily. A new cloak, a new mask, maybe even some paint for my limbs and I could disappear. And nobody would remember my name. There are much greater more active names in the world.""Besides," he added. "This plan is an idea, a project. There are always other goals to be accomplished. Not that I'll be the ones to accomplish them, but still. If everyone viewed ideas as realistically and cynically as you the world would be a sad place. Thinking of the unlikely and trying to accomplish it breaks the mold, adds new possibilities. You may think taking over the world our way is a bad idea, but if we succeeded we could show that it could work. And then you wouldn't be able to scoff at it, not would you?"

As long as I don't announce it I'm sure nobody would actually notice it if I took over the world. Remember, I'm not important in the grand scheme of anything, including my own plot to take over the world. Besides, the idea came about as an attempt to join in the rest of the crew here in their insanity operating on a different level of existence in Lasinia's words. Voxumo had always been interested in insectoid rahi big or small, but he has never liked kofo-jagas because they reminded him of annoying heatstones.Voxumo finally stopped walking and turned around to face the kofo-jaga. Voxumo assumed the creature would have scurried away for fear of being attacked, but this kofo-jaga seemed to not know when it is not welcomed.Voxumo bent down and put his hand flat on the ground. to his surprise the scorpion moved towards his hand and even went as far to walk onto his hand. Voxumo stood up with scorpion in hand and brought his hand in front of his face." You must be mighty trusting to actually allow me to hold you."Just then Voxumo encased the kofo-jaga in a sphere of ice generated in his hand. then he took the frozen scorpion and threw it at the solid stone wall. then there was the amazing site of a frozen scorpion shattering into tiny pieces. Then Voxumo continued his journey through the tunnel hoping it would lead to the village of Onu-Wahi, all the while thinking to himselfYou should never trust someone who invites you for you might find yourself caged and helplessOCC:This is my first post in the BZPRPG. "You both can't let some people have outlandish fantasies despite being on a boat where half the people exist in outlandish fantasies. You decide to pick out me, the matoran to annoy with your realism and pessimism. And you're acting like the world's going to hate me the instant I do anything. Maybe you're right. Maybe the world does dislike me. After all, nobody lets me do anything. Everything I've ever done has been rendered pointless or counterproductive due to the interference of others. Nobody gives a karz about Yasurek, he's a person. We'd better all ruin his fun, can't let the guy enjoy himself. Can't let a guy feel welcome. There was a time when I wondered if I'd ever came back to this ship. I didn't have to. I could have gone on to do better things. But now I'm back and it's still just the same. I'm stuck having to listen to a guy who always has to be right, can't ever have any times where he isn't correct or has the superior vision, can't ever be a time where his way isn't the only successful way to do anything. Grochi, you remind me of this irritating marine commander that the crew encountered. He had to be right about everything too. I don't like it when people go out of their way to make others feel less worthy or capable of anything and you are doing that right now. So kindly back off, and let me do what I want to do, okay?" He turned to Gunner. "Gunner, don't act so happy, or Grochi might have to come and be all realistic. Because we can't have happiness or optimism on this boat, no sir."He left Gunner and Grochi and went back to Lasinia. "That sounds great, but do you know where we would find a widget mint? Where are widgets even made?"
