BZPRPG: Onu-Wahi

OOC: Funny. I'm hired to kill my own character. This'll be awkward.IC: "Yessir." replied Rockosis. "I'll put him on my kill list." He adjusted his bandolier. "But I need to get some things first. Shade had a home near here in the tunnels. He won't be needing it anymore. Where do I meet you when I'm done?"-Bane

IC: Hatann let out a malicious laugh at this. "No, no. You misunderstand me. We will be coming along to watch you kill this guy, and we will be going now. Otherwise, how could we know how well you do the job? As for that guy's house, let it rot. If you want to pillage it, do it on your own time. Mantoxis' life is on a deadline, and we won't wait around."

IC: "Got it. Just so you know, the last contact I made with him was in Ta-Wahi. We should take the tunnel there." He headed down the tunnel, in the direction of Ta-Wahi.OOC: Rockosis to Ta-Wahi, with Hatann and Kaheri, as long as they agree.-Bane

IC: "Now that's more like it" Hatann said. It looked like the new recruit knew where he was going, and he wasn't messing around. He followed him down the dark tunnel to Ta-wahi, where they would emerge in the charred forest.OOC: Hatann to Ta-wahi.

OOC: Ussalry from Le-Wahi.IC: The exhilarated regiment-and-a-half clopped back into Onu-Koro the next morning. They were silent as ever, but found it hard to keep grins off their faces even with all of their discipline. The victorious troops were glad to have helped so much and lost so little.They were dismissed by Sulov upon sight of the stables. Each moved to dismount at a rapid pace; they would be spending the day celebrating.Sulov was soon feeding Muv. He handed her some treats in his prosthetic, patting her stalks with his hand. The Ussal gratefully gulped up the attention.There was a polite cough behind him. The matoran turned and put down the treats."Squadron Commander Koskium!"He saluted. "Orrderrz, sirr?"The lieutenant-regimental saluted back. "A word with Regimental Commander Arkom. He's in his office."Sulov took the orders and left for the office with a mental grin. He was experiencing a slight elation.He had worked together with others of Good to destroy a symbol of evil and a base of its minions. The Rama Hive had been toppled. And he had done his best to achieve that goal of destruction; he had pragmatically maneuvered through and past obstacles physical and mental to do it. It was not that he was vainglorious. On the contrary, Sulov was glad because his achievements were good, not because they were his. The lives of Le-Koroans saved by this action made up for the losses of many who died for it.So Koskium was not afraid when he walked into Arkom's office. He ignored the smirk on his commanding officer's kanohi and knelt before the superior with heart light.Then Arkom looked at him, opened his mouth, and said:"You're fired."

IC(Kaerhi): Kaerhi followed along slowly, so as to let his wounds heal.OOC: Kaerhi to Ta-Wahi.

OOC: Welp, seeing as he's a part of the Ussalry.IC-Mussiki:Mussiki was sitting around, playing his guitar, when he heard what Arkom said. He resisted the urge to just run into the office, and instead directed his sound."You've got to be kidding me," he said, though only Arkom and Koskium would hear it.

IC:VoxumoVoxumo soon found himself in the village of Onu-Koro. Voxumo first walked the edges of Onu-Koro to map out the exits in case a quick escape is needed. As soon as he felt comfortable Voxumo went into the village to seek out some supplies. He had very few widgets and needed a few Bula Berries. he was able to find some even though they were not the freshest but they were food.Next Voxumo went to seek out some kind of employment. as he was walking a Onu-matoran carrying a heatstone ran by him." I hate those stones." then he sighed " I need to find some kind of job, but i really really hope it is entertaining."OCC: Hey i must ask does anyone think they could help me with this job thing i'm not exactly sure how to go about it.

IC: [uyism]Uyism looked over to where Mussiki had ran off, and wondered what exactly was going on. It probably didn't concern her much, so the Iroiit decided to continue staring at her Ussal.

IC: Prosthetic? Check. Knife? Check. Coat? Check. Saperka? Check."For insubordinacy in taking over of three squadrons...," Arkom continued snidely.Sulov got up. He tightened the straps about his shoulders and sheathed his tools."...And further disregard for the Ussal Code in joining a mass operation without permission..."He pulled forth a tablet. It was from Daylah. The last one he had."...As per Ussal law..."The matoran placed it in the pack, a brief afterthought. Then he turned away from his hut."...I, 4th Regimental Commander Arkom..."Sulov looked out on the village of his remaining friends and family. He gazed onto the village of soil and rock and earthy simplicity, gazed on its crude huts and its bustling populace of matoran. He gazed out and saw his home. "...Deem you banished and dishonorably discharged."And then Sulov said 'Goodbye' and trudged right out the gates of Onu-Koro.He didn't look back.

IC-Mussiki:Mussiki poked his head into the stable where Uyism was, a scowl on his face, his travelling gear arrayed."If you want to continue travelling with Sulov," he growled, "Hop on your Ussal and follow after me." That said, he quickly turned about, before walking off after Sulov, quickly coming up behind the smaller Matoran.

IC: [uyism]Uyism nodded, quickly mounting the Ussal and following Mussiki.

IC: TarnokTarnok watched as Ulyism and Mussiki left.He agreed with Sulov. He really did. But Sulov was leaving, and that was one thing he could not do. No matter how much he agreed with his former CO, his duty was to Onu-Koro. And he could not do that duty if he was away from the village. Quietly, he spoke under his breath. "I'm sorry, Sulov. I'm so sorry."The Matoran stood, and moved to the secretary. He filled out the correct forms, and left. At his home, he placed the items he would need into his pack, and started walking to Ta-Koro.I need some time off. A long time. I need to get away from the Ussalry, and anything related. I can't do my job properly like this.OOC: Tarnok to Ta-Koro

IC:A Matoran, heading towards Onu-Koro from down the Ta-Wahi tunnel, encountered Sulov storming away, Mussiki and Uyism trailing him. "Excuse me," the Matoran asked Sulov, quickly changing direction and picking up a faster stride to keep pace with the former Ussalry commander, "Might I have a moment of your time?"

OOC: Assuming enough time has passed that Nekron and Arkrak can be let out...IC: NekronNekron brushed a little dust off himself as he walked out of the building.

IC: [Arkrak]"I suppose you won't be telling me Inc's location any time soon."

IC: Sulov immediately came to a stop and turned to face the Ta-Matoran. His hand made to salute, but then a slight shadow passed over his face and he dropped it.He made do by kneeling once. Rising, Koskium smiled politely."Cerrtainly."

IC: Nekron"In my subconscious, where he belongs."

IC:"Thank you," the Matoran said, before looking back at the other former Ussalry members who had followed Sulov out. "I'm sorry, I hope you don't mind if I have a private conversation with your former captain. It's a matter of some delicacy. Would you...?" The Matoran looked on expectantly until Mussiki and Uysim rolled their eyes and had trodden back into the Koro, probably to drink away their doubts about their rash decision. "Much better," the Matoran said.

IC: Sulov blinked. While he looked like an ex-Ussalmatoran with his prosthetic and armor, his only sign of rank was the atypical muaka hide...Few outside the Ussalry knew what that coat meant as far as military standing. It was unlikely that even the average Guard member would.Ta-Matoran, battered. I don't know him-he knows me?"I see introductzhuns arr not necessarry," Remarked Koskium. "In zat case, vhat have you come to speak ov?"

IC:"I noticed you during the Hive Attack," the Matoran explained. "You led a very brave and very successful charge, Sulov. Why have you now been discharged?"

IC: Knows of banishment-why, how? Guard member?"I assumed powerr beyond my rrank," Sulov explained. "You know me to be captain of a squadrron...Orr Squadrron Commanderr. I took powerr overr zree squadrrons forr zat charrge."He paused. "Ze ozerr commanderrs prresent gave me zat rrank forr ze operrazhun. But only one higherr-rranked zan I can give such a rrank by Ussalrry Law."

IC:"That's an unfortunate technicality," the Matoran said, shaking his head. "Especially when what you did, insubordinate or no, helped to win the battle. You gathered and led the charge even before you knew that Makuta's vile influence had retreated from the hive... It was a heroic decision, Sulov, one that could have cost your life."The Matoran sat down on a nearby rock, and gestured for Sulov to join him. "And I am glad to know you favored doing what needed to be done over following your orders. If you were in the same, or a similar, situation again, would you have made the same choice?"

IC: "Yes," Sulov said immediately. His bass rumble was full of conviction.He did likewise and sat down. Then he spoke again."If I must be punished forr brreaking ze law, let it be so. As long as it is brroken forr ze sake of ze island."

IC:"It's reassuring to hear you say that, Sulov," the Matoran said. "Because there may be opportunities in your future which will require that same conviction. The fight against Makuta is far from over; just because you have left the Ussalry, does not mean that you are out of the fight. Destiny works mysteriously, but with a sure hand - if you are out of the Ussalry now, then it means you are ready to take the next step in your life, the next step on the path to bringing down the tyrannical darkness."

IC: Sulov blinked, then smiled. He tried not to let the confusion show.Like Whenua in speech. Not a Guardsmatoran?"The only destiny I zink I have is to become a rrahi-hunterr," He answered truthfully. "All my frriends belong to ze Ussalrry or arr...Gone, so I can't move to another korro and join zeir milizhuh as an exile of one."Images of Kol grinning jovially and Daylah smiling out from her kanohi flashed before his eyes. Sulov paused, then continued."I decided I'd fight individual rrahi instead. They won't let me fight in battles any morre," Koskium explained. "I'll do vhat I can to help, but I think that if anyzing, I'm taking a step backvarrd."

IC:"A step backwards? That's where you're wrong," The Matoran said. "You have far greater things ahead of yourself!" He stopped Sulov before the Onu-Matoran could interject. "Now I know you'll ask, 'what could possibly be ahead of me?' and you'd have good reason to ask that. I'll answer your question with a question: do you believe in prophecies?"

IC: Sulov lifted his massive shoulders, then lowered them. The simple shrug reflected what the matoran was to say next."I don't rreally know any well enough to say yes orr no," He admitted. "I believe zat ve can choose to do good orr bad and don't have to be fated one vay or ze ozerr, but I don't zink zat's what you mean. I was borrn afterr ze firrst toa came."

IC:"The first Toa..." the Matoran recalled. "They were the last true heroes this island has seen. They came to us, following the Great Prophecy, and were to be our salvation from Makuta. The Toa had a... way about them, a way of inspiring hope. But then they were lost..."The Matoran paused, grimaced, and cleared his throat. "Hope is dying on this island, and it must be saved. There is rumbling of a new Prophecy, a prophecy to rectify the old one. A prophecy that says the next true heroes will come not from the stars, but from among us. This is the sort of prophecy of which I speak. I believe in destiny, and I believe that being discharged from your previous life at this exact moment was no coincidence."

IC: ...What?Why would I be part of this new prophecy?, Sulov thought. His face assumed the smile again, but he was truly perplexed.I'm not a good commander. I don't even have social standing any more...Surely I can't be considered a hero, The matoran said to himself.But I have faith in this guy. I'll go with that faith for now."I see," Sulov finally said. "So you zink I might be connected to zis prrophecy, zat I might meet one of zese heroes. And zat my exile was set to happen."

IC: Gunner - InfernavikaSeeing that neither Zijak nor Raknar seemed aware that Gunner was there, he turned and walked back over where Grochi and the others were hanging about."So, in that case, maybe one of you guys can tell me where we're going," he said.-Void

IC-Grochi:"Le-Wahi," Grochi said boredly, as the ship continued south, passing into Ko-Wahi.OOC: Infernavika and crew to Ko-Wahi.

IC:"I know you are connected to it, I can feel it" the Matoran said. "You are good-natured and willing to sacrifice yourself for the wellbeing of others; you're exactly what we need. Sulov, you are not only going to meet the next true heroes - you will become one." The Matoran turned to Sulov, and locked eyes with him. "Are you willing to accept this new duty?"

IC: "Yes," Sulov said, talking as he had before-immediately and with unadulterated conviction. "I'll do it."Prophecies were strange to him. But duty was his eternal companion, and he had faith in the stranger. The ex-commander would put all his faith in what this matoran said as well."Please, tell me how."

IC: "It's just down this way." "How do we a-know he's not leading us into a trap?""Because I've been to this base before.""Good, then. Lead on, Nemesis."Nemesis began to open the secret passage. "Upon entry, Ratchet gravitizes them all. Ten times.""Then, Barricade will weaken the dirt, causing the roof to fall on the pinned down Phantoms.""Then we will set fire to them all...""And Dino will electrocute each one with a thousand volts.""Assuming nothing goes wrong.""We are dealing with the Phantoms. Every plan, in one way or another, does." Nemesis got it open. "ATTACK!"Every Phantom in the area excluding Nemesis, including the ceiling, was gravitized.Barricade weakened the dirt of the ceiling, which fell down on the Phantoms, as Optimus and Nemesis set fire to it, then moved their fire blasts down directly on any Phantoms they could still see.And Dino rained lightning bolts down upon the Phantoms."Where. Is. Zaruthan. Screemah?"

IC: Grimlock and SwoopGrimlock watched the chaos unfold with eagerness. "Me Grimlock smash!" he shouted, pounding a massive fist into the ground and causing even more rock and earth to collapse on the Phantoms. However, it also caused the whole surrounding area to tremor. Soon, the Aukati were also being hit with pieces of dirt and rock."Oops..."Swoop was hit in the head with a chunk of rock."Ow! What was Grimlock thinking!?"

IC:"Excellent," the Matoran said, beaming. "I knew you had it in you. I'm so glad... Oh, but I'm sorry, I have very little time; I have to leave now. Trust me, all will be made clear to you soon, Sulov. Await the arrival of the Wanderer; he will know where to take you. I will hopefully see you again then. Goodbye Sulov, and good luck! Watch your back."The Matoran began to leave the way he had come, before turning back. "And one more thing... Try to work on your, ah, enunciation. I had a little difficulty understanding you sometimes, and I'm a better listener than most." The Matoran smiled apologetically, and left Sulov alone. OOC: The Matoran to Ga-Koro.

IC: Sulov only smiled back. He knelt once in deference, then stood.He had to get going.The Onu-Matoran trudged on through the tunnels. Within a few more hours, he was breathing mosquito-infested air once more.OOC: Sulov Koskium to Le-Wahi.

IC-Mussiki:Mussiki, having heard most of the conversation thanks to his power over sonics, quickly followed after Sulov, not checking if Uyism came as well. He had quite a few questions for the former commander.OOC: Back to Le-Wahi.

IC: Barricade made the stray dirt fly back at the Phantoms. "It's ok. Good job, Grimlock."
