IC:"Thanks. We're still working on it," Kethrye replied. A slight frown tinged his face "I'm sorry, I don't believe I got you're name..."
IC: [Ril]"Aronis Ril, Ta-Koro Guard Artillery Corps."
Ic: "Wonderful!" Ambages said, taking a contract from his attendant. "Please sign there and we can get the paperwork out of the way and start on the actual planning."IC: Madrihk"You can camouflage the village?" Madrihk asked, a bit disbelieving. "You do know that we are right next to a lake, right? Our buildings will stick out, no matter what. That said, integrating the environment with our structures sounds like a good idea."
IC: Madrihk"Paperwork?" This was the first time someone had presented something like this to him, and he was caught a bit off-guard by it. "Pardon my confusion, but I believe we don't really have much reason to sign anything, given that neither of us get any direct profit out of this project?"Ic: "Wonderful!" Ambages said, taking a contract from his attendant. "Please sign there and we can get the paperwork out of the way and start on the actual planning."
IC: Ignul walked into Le Koro, muttering to himselft at how he could mistake Pala-Koro for Le-Koro. He walked up to a complete stranger, and asked them, "I am on a quest to find Toas Dreenan and Nightning, could you tell me if they have come by here?"
OOC: Sure, just claim it's a waystop on the way (we just changed the tunnel systems, abandoning all cargo...) I finally get to RP with ELester! Just hope he doesn't kill Dalia... yet...IC: Dalia, Le-Wahi, Le-Koro, Dalia's Lounge, Preparing to leave with Sev:"My name is Dalia," The Mark-Bearer said, as she walked out the front door into the village, "and if you're ready, let's be going!"OOC: Timeskip? Or do things the ole' fanshoned way?IC: Phavion, Le-Wahi, Traviling home:As the ship left Le-Wahi, Phavion felt very nervious. As did every time he had to report back to Suminaxe. The Toa of Fire held a trump card, and the Toa of Plasma couldn't defeat him. As the ship sailed through the open ocean, it's pointed bow cutting through the waves like a knife through butter, Phavion prepared himself to duel the evil Toa, and redeem himself.OOC: Phavion to Kumu Islets.IC: SevThe Vortixx cracked a grin, "Lassie, if there's one thing ya need to learn 'bout me, it's that I'm always ready. Also lass, I don't really fancy callin' ya lass all the time, so how's bout tellin' me your name?"ooC: Say could they go to Po instead, I'm thinking about having the Sev join EW's Bad Company. If it helps there is a MB there.IC: Dalia, Le-Wahi, Le-Koro, Dalia's Lounge, Talking to Sev:She then turned to the Vortixx and asked, "Ready?"
ooC: Thanks, and you can decide.IC: Sev"Name's Sev," The Vortixx replied, holding out a hand. This was a rare event for him, few people ever learned his name. "So, this is going to be your first time out of the village, correct?"
IC: Deyr/Ryed (Le-Koro)"I'm not one to say-judge," the Le-Matoran replied, "Although I think-say that it was childish-funny."I cannot believe you made me watch that,Ryed told him in his head.Oh, so now you decide-chose to mind-talk? Deyr replied to the voice in his head. That shut Ryed up.
IC: "Well," Nanashi said "It was funny, but was the stage supposed to burn? And what happened to the dragon?"OOC: Was there not a dragon? What was the giant puppet
OOC: Dragon = yes.IC: Deyr (Le-Koro)The Le-Matoran shrugged. "I don't think-believe that the stage was supposed to flame-burn. I didn't really watch-see the show-play all the way through..."Deyr looked around the village of air, and asked the Vortixx, "Where to now?"
OOC: I suggest we timeskip. While making posts till we get to the edge of the Wahi would be fun, I lack the time to do some.IC: Dalia, Le-Wahi, Le-Koro, Outside of Dalia's lounge:The Mark-Bearer nodded, "Except for my arrival in Le-Wahi many years back, I haven't left the village." She began to walk towards where she knew the village "gates" were.
ooC: Very well.IC: SevSev nodded, "I see, well this should be an interestin' 'perience for ya."ooC: To Po-Wahi.You go ahead and make the first post.
IC:"Destiny, huh?" Rhow asked, wiping away a trickle of blood from one of her many fresh scars. "Never cared much for that. We live, we do stuff and then we die. And if we are lucky, someone with too much time on their hands will put our name on a tablet. No destiny in that."She watched the foliage grow thicker as they rose up into the trees. The air was not as damp up here and actually smelled rather nice."I'd rather decide where I go in the time I have myself." she added. "But I still don't have the foggiest of what's going on in this place. What are the Rahkshi after?"IC: Iraanus"I don't exactly like it all, either," the Skakdi replied. "But...I cannot help but think that we haven't seen the last of this. The tides of destiny pull us all, irrevocably, in directions we never could have expected, let alone understood." As he said this, the lilypad was pulled the last few feet, bumping gently against the roots of the massive tree. The two Skakdi dismounted the lilypad, Iraanus releasing the water from his control. The plant drifted lazily back into the expanse of the lake as Iraanus followed Rhow into one of the mechanisms hanging from the tree. He flipped a few levers, and the mechanism slowly began to rise.
IC: Onyx"No, it looks like sleepy head finally woke up. Those dreams better have been worth the time he lost."
Ic: Ambages stifled a sigh. "If you don't sign this document, then my workers will come and not do any work because there will be no document, thus no project, thus no pay. People are such petty things when it comes to this. I apologize, but you must sign it."
OOC: It would help if you actually told me what's on that paper, since as long as I don't, my character does not either.IC: Madrihk"Allow me to read it first. I wasn't aware you had any workers, by the way. You said you had knowledge and resources, but I thought you meant for designing the place. We do, after all, have Toa of several elements to shape things however you may like it."
IC:"Are you with the rest of the Guard?" Kethrye said, glancing around for sign of any other soldiers. "Or are you traveling alone? We sent a team to meet with Vakama, or whoevers in charge of the Ta-Koro militia, about sending some troops to, uh, take part in a joint mission..." He stopped suddenly, realizing that Aronis might not be who he said he was.Revealing the ILS;s plan to an enemy could spell disaster.IC: [Ril]"Aronis Ril, Ta-Koro Guard Artillery Corps."
IC: VirtheeWhatever the rustling was, he didn't know. It probably wasn't anything dangerous, so he kept walking, not in the direction of the rustling though.
IC:MihaAs did Miha, until the Ash Bear sprung out at the two, roaring loudly and slashing at the Doctor Toa.
OOC: Want to have Miha defeat it without Virthee even realizing the danger? XDIC: VirtheeOnly to miss as the Toa had stepped behind a tree. He hadn't even noticed it yet, but the roar he did hear. He looked around, but could not see the bear through the tree.
OOC:Not really...IC:MihaMiha frowned. Virthee could get really hurt if he didn't start paying attention. "Dad! Ash Bear behind the tree!"
IC: [Ril]"I was travelling with some marines for a while due to having to take care of a prisoner, but then I got lost."
IC:"Hum. Well, I guess I'd better show you around the village..." Kethrye said, taking several steps closer to the incomplete collection of buildings. "Unless you want to talk with Madrihk."
IC: [Ril]"Who's this Madrihk guy?"
Ic: "I'm sorry, Mahdrik, but not sure I want to burden your people with building things. I'm here to help you concentrate your efforts better by offering a more solid base, not detract from the good you've been doing by making you work for something. I'm offering my services to you for free, and that includes the designing and the working. This contract merely states that much, as well as details on the buildings we discussed. Take a look for yourself."
IC: IraanusIraanus shrugged. "Your guess is as good as mine," he replied. He thought for a moment, then added, "Though I'm sure it was no coincidence that there was a Matoran's body there. He might've known what they wanted. What was his name? Kapura?"IC: BarükBarük gazed over the edge of the platform. This part of the village hung out over land rather than the waters of Lake Kanae, so there was solid earth several dozen bio below him. Altering his gravity, Barük floated upwards until he reached a cluster of fruit hanging from the massive tree upon which this section of the koro was built. He selected one at random and dropped back to the platform. Tossing it in his hand, he found it to be of a suitable weight and size, then moved as if to toss it over the edge--and stopped suddenly. It seemed a shame to waste perfectly good fruit, especially when it was free. He scowled as he thought of the incident with the peanuts earlier. Barük took an enormous bite out of the fruit and sat down on a bench to eat.
IC: Madrihk"All right, just making sure you're not trying to fool me into something," Madrihk smiled as he signed. "Not that I think you would, it's just that caution comes first for me nowadays."He handed the contract to Ambages' associate."There you go."He leaned in slightly and lowered his voice, though he still had a joking grin."...And if later I find out that I have signed on something terrible printed with invisible ink or similar; I will give you a quite literal brain freeze."
I.C. Vompran"They were quite good actually. So, uh what exactly are we doing right now?"IC: Onyx"No, it looks like sleepy head finally woke up. Those dreams better have been worth the time he lost."
IC:Rhow shrugged. "Or maybe they were just after him?" she said, not really thinking about the statement, apropos of nothing. However, as soon as she had uttered the words, the reaction of some of the people present at the site of the kill came back to her."Yeah...Kapura, that was the name." she said, slowly. "Seemed like he was known around the Island, wasn't he?" she asked Iraanus.
IC - Kyat - Alley"I'm..." he groaned, sitting up and wincing as the sword came out, releasing more blood, "...not exactly sure. I wasn't exactly... Shall we say, sober?" he admitted. It had hurt, indeed, but man...had he felt alive.
Ic: Ambages gave a cockeyed grin to Mahdrik. "If I were to ever deceive you in such a way, I would expect nothing less from you, Mr. Mahdrik. But that would be terrible for business." He lightened up further: "Unless you meant a Slurpee. Man, I love my Slurpees."He extended his hand to shake it. "A pleasure knowing you, and I hope our partnership will be a long and good one."
IC: "Probably just random muggers then," Knidia said, hooking one of Kyat's arms around her neck, "Taking advantage of someone out their wits. Hup you come." She hoisted him up, and started leading him towards a medical hut, water powers stopping him from bleeding out
OOC: Virthee is not fighting an ash bear.IC: Virthee"I didn't see anything Miha... I think it might be a small distance away." He turned to look around the tree, but had while walking rose a few feet, and was looking over the bear, which was below the leaves of a few plants. "We must be continuing onward Miha..."
OOC:He doesn't have to, he just needs to witness it.IC:MihaMiha sighed, and fired a disk. The disk flew threw the air, hitting the Ash Bear square in the stomach, and causing it to skid backwards, fall right next to Virthee. There were no trees, so Virthee would have to be trying real hard to miss it.
OOC: Why? Also, Virthee climbed upwards The bear could not fall upwards. He's standing above the bear by a few feet, and a few feet back on a ledge.IC: Virthee"Miha, are you sure you saw an ash bear?" The doctor questioned. He himself could still not see the bear, and there was a bird on a nearby branch blocking out the sounds with it's annoying chirping.
OOC:Umm... Good point. I didn't read that he climbed, I read that he walked in a upwards direction. As in, up a not that steep hill. On which the bear could've fallen upwards a bit. But that brings up the question of how Virthee knew she was shooting, when she was next to the ashbear, and thus Virthee couldn't see either of them... And you yourself said that he couldn't hear anything...IC:MihaMiha sighed, and bolted towards her father, grabbing his arm, and turning him right towards where the ash bear would be. Right behind her was a very angry ash bear, almost impossible to miss, whether or not Virthee was up on a platform.
OOC: Good point... I guess he didn't see her shooting. Editing now.IC; VirtheeBut Miha would have to climb around the tree to turn Virthee around, and the bear would have had to follow her. Only problem was, when she tried to turn him, he fell where the bear had been, but was now not even near.
IC:MihaMiha just grabbed his mask, pulling it, and his face, upwards, and pointing it towards the bear. THERE WAS NO WAY THAT HE COULD MISS IT, AS IT WAS HEADING RIGHT TOWARDS HIM.
OOC: He's fallen back downward, she couldn't reach him.IC; VirtheeThe Toa of fire sighed as he got up, walking in a different direction. Another path to Onu-Wahi... without having to climb and fall off of ledges. He was walking away from both Miha and the bear. He expected Miha would be right behind him.
OOC:I assumed that she followed him, and quickly grabbed his head, but okay...IC:MihaThe Le-Matoran wasn't that easily deterred. Her eyes glowing a bright red, she grabbed the Ash Bear, and threw it in front of Virthee, powered by her Mark of Determination. The bear landed with a loud thud. The Le-Matoran gasped in pain as her arm mussels throbbed, having been overexerted by tossing the small Ash Bear.
