IC: Krayn"Yes, there is an ongoing investigation." Krayn lied. Technically, it could be an investiagtion but it had never been authorized. "Put your hands in the air, and slowlyapproach the hut."
IC-Dragou:Dragou looked sidelong at Krayn. "I get this odd feeling you don't even believe what you're saying," he said, and walked up to the hut, not bothering to put his hands up. After all, they technically were in the air anyways.
IC:A tree burst into flames. This was not a regular occurrence for the natives of the region, for they were in a tropical region, and trees rarely burst into flames in tropical regions. However, they were also on an island filled with people who could control fire, so they decided to go check if one of the fire controlling people had decided to burn down a tree. They promptly burst into flames.Another group decided to check on the group that had went on to check on the trees, for the latter had seemingly disappeared. They burst into flames as well. Finally, the natives decided to ignore the tree, and went on to continue their daily lives, for they did not want to lose any more of their people. This was a bad move to take, because more trees promptly burnt into flames. This was because of Soulgain, the being that made absolutely no sense, and it was on a journey towards the future. Which makes absolutely no sense.
IC: ReichenbachSoulgain, however, was being watched. As more people burst into flame, an internal conflict took place in the murderer's head. The Plan must continue. I have no time for this. But this being is interesting. They are obviously insane. You could recruit them, use this insanity to your advantage. And, what, burst into flame along the way? Not the best idea you've ever had. It's your idea too. We are both the same person, remember.Fine, then. Correction: It's not the best idea I've ever had.
IC:Soulgain paused as another tree burst into flames. It mechanically turned to survey the area of burning trees and a few dead bodies, a minor chill washing over its body. It had no idea why that had happened, for it made absolutely no sense, nor did it even make sense in the first place, but it decided to rectify the problem by doing something that made complete sense.Firing off beams of plasma out of every pore on its body in random directions.
IC: ReichenbachReichenbach noticed that he was in actual danger when a tree burst into flame right next to him. Taking action, he used his Mahiki to make the first thing that popped into his head appear in front of Soulgain.A kitten. You chose a kitten? It was the first thing I thought of.We are screwed because of you.The plan will still continue, my friend. There is nothing anyone can do to prevent it.
IC:Soulgain froze as the kitten appeared in front of it. A switch within its mind turned on, and words that had been repeated many times in the past returned to the surface once more, imaginary beings appearing beside it."What happen?" it said, voice monotone."Somebody set us up the bomb!" said one of its imaginary beings."We get signal!" said another."What!" said the insane being, voice STILL monotone."Main screen turn on!""It's you!" it said, registering the cat's appearance."How are you gentlemen," Soulgain's mind supplied as it imagined the cat to be speaking. "All your base are belong to us. You are on the way to destruction.""What you say!!""You have no chance to survive make your time. Ha ha ha ha ..."
IC: ReichenbachWhat the Karz is wrong with this guy...
IC:As Reichenbach continued to watch, Soulgain was still having a crisis."Captain!!" shouted one of the imaginary voices."Take off every ZIG!!!" it replied, monotone voice steady. "You know what you doing. Move ZIG. For great justice."
OOC: Sweet schizophrenic Mother of God...IC: Tillian (???, Le-Koro)"He could have," said Tillian, curled up into a small ball with his elbows on his knees. "But if I get my hopes up, and she really is gone..."-Teezy
IC: AuronThe Toa of fire gasped as he struggled to keep absorbing energy. He knew that at his current state, the blast wouldn't be powerful enough to get rid of the Rahi Scorpion. He also struggled to take more heat from the area, the average temperature now was about 10 degrees above the freezing point of water. There was still heat to be absorbed, and the Toa's internal supply was filled to the brim. The Toa saw how Aelynn was struggling with the Rahi, and how she was starting to weaken. He began to absorb energy at a faster rate, all of his essence screaming that he couldn't take any more. The Nui Jaga quickly ripped the iron sheet out of the ground, and threw it at the Toa, hoping to crush one of them beneath it.OOC: It's not a very smart rahi... Oh well, next turn, Auron will release the blast, someone call 911 (or whatever the Mata Nui emergancy number is) and tell them to get ready to put out one big fire...
IC: AelynnUsing a small bit of her power, she managed to push the sheets of iron out of the way. Aelynn knew that she kept on using her Elemental Power like this then she wouldn't be able to fight much longer.Already she had a headache from using her powers.
IC: Skyra - ????, Le-koro -"Well, either way, shouldn't we track down this Pollux and make him pay? We've got this map, so...let's use it. Who cares if it's a trap?"
IC: AuronWhen the Toa of fire finally felt he had enough energy, he released it all in a blast at the Nui Jaga. The resulting explosion consumed the Rahi and some small trees, the fires quickly consumed the Rahi's shell, burning the large Jaga. As the deed was done, Auron briefly blacked out, shaking his head, and breathing deeply. He started to refocus himself, constantly moving to prevent himself from loosing consciousness. The great loss of energy was something the Toa hadn't done in years, and he wasn't used to such tax on his mental strength. He began to try and take thermal energy from a nearby fire, hoping to stop the burning by absorbing the flames.
IC: The DogIshi looked at Lazerbeak strangely, as if she had suggested something absolutely ridiculous. "Wait, wait, wait. You mean to tell me you want to fly in the air hundreds of feet above the ground with me in your arms? No way. I may be working with you, but that is no indication of trust." He looked long and hard out in the direction Skyra's kahu Destiny had flown off towards and sighed. What choice do I have if I'm gonna' get all this information? Turning back, he shook his head and pulled out a length of rope. "If you're carrying me, I'm tying myself to you."
IC: Laserbeak"Look, I don't trust you either. But let's face it. I'm busted if I kill you." Laserbeak looked at the rope. "Alright. Just make sure my arms and legs are free." She knelt down so Ishi could actually reach her back.
IC:"Mind getting a move on?" Rhow asked her fellow Skakdi. "I want to know more about the stuff that's happening on this rock. Talk to the village-elder, get some news. Or find a bartender with a knack for storytelling."She walked back up to Iraanus, waiting for him with crossed arms.
IC: AelynnShe was burnt slightly from the massive release of energy, but not that much. "Are you ok!?" she said, running over to the Toa of Fire.He didn't look too 'Ok'.
IC: Auron"I will be OK..." The Toa said, not too sure of himself, "I need to put out these flames..."The Toa continued trying to absorb the fires, staggering, not entirely recovered from the power loss.
IC: The DogStepping forwards, Ishi quickly bound himself to her back with an elegant knotting system; something Lazerbeak could never untie while flying, but what he could undo with the pull of a hand. Being lifted off the ground as she stood, he nodded, then realized she couldn't see."I'm ready."I pray my mother in Artahka never sees this.
IC: Laserbeak"Anyone ever tell you that you've got trust issues, kid?" A pause. "Oh wait. I probably shouldn't judge, huh?" Before Ishi could answer,Laserbeak jumped out the window.
OOC: I have roundhouse kicked someone who had a hold of my arm before. Although it was a karate training technique so it didn't hurt him.I.C. Vompran caught himself and quickly threw five thorn darts at Volin. The vines continued to tie up the plasma toa.IC: VolinThing is, Vompran couldn't exactly round-house kick due to the fact that Volin had never let go of his arm in the first place. As the Toa attempted such a feat, Volin merely grabbed onto him with his other arm and threw him a few feet away.
IC: A Nui-Rama sailed over the jungle, emitting a buzz in it's search for prey. As it gazed intently at the jungle below, a Nui-Kopen brushed past and flew in the opposite direction, obviously on the same hunt. If Nui-Rama could scowl, this one would have now at it's species' hated enemy.Little did it know that it would soon have more to worry about than food, as now the hunter, had become the hunted. Kahlynn, Skakdi and Rahi Hunter, stepped out on to a ledge on the foothills of Mt. Ihu. The wasp-like Rahi could not see him, but he could see it, as he was shrouded in shadow, and it was hovering precariously high above the jungle floor below. Kahlynn smiled. Easy prey.It only took one sudden and short blast of Heat Vision to clip the Rama's wing and send it cascading into oblivion. A huge crash could be heard, along with the snapping of branches and, apparently, a falling tree.About a minute or so later, Kahlynn had made his way down to the crash site, where the Nui-Rama lay, wrapped in shrubbery, missing a wing, and, sure enough, beneath a small tree. It lashed out at the Skakdi with it's free claw, but he casually cut off it's flailing fingers with his blade, before stabbing it between the eyes. He tore off it's masks and stowed them away in his invisible pocket pack, and headed off to Lake Pala to get some rest. When he arrived though, he did not find the peaceful holiday resort of a Lake that he was expecting. Instead he found a half-constructed village, in which multiple beings stood around talking (and sparring, by the looks of things). His jaw fell wide open in a comical, slack-jawed pose."What the-"OOC: That's Pala-Koro he's stumbled upon there, ILS people. I just had to get back at some point, all that Onu-Wahi business is taking forever ![]()
IC: [Ril]"That too was my reaction," said a voice behind the Skakdi.
IC: "So, um, what exactly is this all about? I thought this was a good place to stop off before I went to hunt more Nui-Rama, not another bloomin' Matoran village!" Kahlynn exclaimed.
IC: [Ril]"It's the village of suicidal people."
IC: "Why are you suicidal?" Kahlynn asked. Perhaps this was some kind of stupid cult...
IC: [Ril]"I'm not. I'm just here for the lulz."
OOC: Thanks for the advise then, dude.IC: ZarigamiIt had been many days since the first wound between the 2 enraged beings. They would stop at nothing to rip each other to flakes of metal and flesh in rage and vengeance.Ta-Koro guard... hmm... If so, I'd like to pay him a visit...The mech drew it's knive, grabbed a berry carefully placed in a container, and cleaned the weapon with the fruit. He has no idea. None at all. But he will. When my knive is at his nose.
IC: AelynnShe held onto the Toa of Fire to keep him up. "That was.... " She said, searching for the right word.Aelynn was impressed by anyone showing control over their element above her own.IC: KarkhalmThe Vortixx had gotten his wounds healed, and his armor had repaired itself. He was making a note to the Ta-Koro guard.Unless receiving further orders, I will be part of an investigation to capture the being who attacked an enlisted member of the Ta-Koro Guard Force.Lieutenant Karkhalm, Le-Koro
IC: The DogFlying upside down was an experience Ishi never wanted to relive. His motion sickness made the journey so much more horrible than when he rode on Destiny -- a being who sailed in a straight line versus this crazy bee who zig-zagged her way across the skyline -- from Po-wahi to Ta-koro. He was glad to feel the sudden jarring of earth in Lazerbeak's feet, and ripped apart the knot that tied him to her back with a loud, "Thank The Grand Alchemist that's over!"
IC: AuronThe Toa frowned and shook his head, "That was bad. I hurt Rahi, and put you in bad place. I am sorry."Auron continued to put out the fires until he there were no more that he could reach, the ones on the upper parts of the trees, he could do nothing about, they were too far away for his reach.
IC: Aelynn"No, that was good," she said looking the Toa of Fire in the eye."Did you see it's Kanohi? They were infected, under Makuta's control, you did a good thing by melting them. Now it's just a Rahi now, it won't bother anyone else anymore."
IC: Laserbeak"Oh please. It wasn't that bad. It would have helped if you hadn't tied yourself on upside down." Laserbeak commented, as she arched her back, stretching.
IC: The Dog"The last thing I'd do is bury my sensitive nose into your sweaty back, thank you," Ishi retorted as he rolled up the strand of rappelling rope. Looking around he saw Tillian standing, somewhat perplexed, with a vial of gold liquid in his hand. Skyra seemed to be attempting to replenish the lieutenant who's morale was dropping as if he'd used his one element on himself. Ishi shook his head and looked around. There wasn't much to go by, save the seems along the walls indicating possible alternate passageways, the stone slab in the center with a drain for possibly blood -- an operating table of brutish design. What have I gotten into now? I just want to know where my turaga is, get my mark bearer information back to Xern, and pick up that package."Look, I don't know what happened, but Tillian, you've got to get up from your self-defeatist attitudes and start crushing skulls. I'm honestly sick and tired of this little 'spring the trap' and would like to get some reliable, solid, intel on this revenge plan of Crimson Nova's." Ishi walked over to the medical slab and jumped on, letting his legs dangle as he looked Tillian in the back of the head.OOC: I'm sorry Krayz, but Ishi and Lazerbeak just aren't made to be too friendly with each other... Not so fast, anyways. ![]()
IC: LaserbeakLaserbeak glared at Ishi. She was rather annoyed by the sweaty comment.
IC: AuronThe Toa of fire said nothing, and looked about to find the way to the village, "Aelynn know way to Le-Koro? Lead the way please."His face he held a pained expression, and still disliked putting Aelynn in harms way. He felt it was wrong of him to do that to others, and he would somehow make it up to her.
IC: AelynnShe nodded, and began to lead the Toa of Fire to Le-Koro, it wasn't that far away now. The Toa of Iron occasinally glanced back at Auron, but said nothing.
IC: ZarigamiThe Fau swamp's stentch had been umbearable. But finally now Zarigami had the docile jungle all to himself. Burn it? No. Not yet. I need an audience first. The mud squelched against the mech's large metallic feet, the Gukko birds squeaked and squawked and the wind blew calmly against the tall towering trees around him. Now, time to get a real weapon. OOC: Zarigami to Po-Koro
IC: Skyra - Le-koro -"What was wrong with my 'springing the trap' plan? It got us Tillian back!" Skyra said as Laserbeak and Ishi approached. "But anyway, I suppose some solid intel would be nice."
