IC: LaserbeakLaserbeak stared at Tillian, just now realizing that he was not only present, but alive. "Tillian...?"
OOC: Timeskip to Le-KoroIC: AuronAs the Two Toa entered the village, Auron hopped the twin armorsmiths wouldn't encounter him and notice the symbols they had added on his armor were gone."Where we go now?" He asked Aelynn.
IC: Aelynn"Oh, right. Um, we need some books, ink, tablets..." the Toa of Iron replied, glancing around."There!" she said suddenly, and walked over to a small shop. It was near the end of the platform, and it seemed empty of customers.
IC: AuronAs the two Toa approached the stand, Auron decided to let Aelynn do the talking, he was never good around strangers.
IC: AelynnThere was grumpy looking Turaga sitting on a chair infront of the stand. "Hi," Aelynn said, smiling sweetly, "Do you mind if we take a look around?"The Turaga grunted, and Aelynn took it as a yes, walking towards the stands. She came back a moment later, her arms full of various tablets, quills, inks, and books. She extracted some widgets from her bag, and payed the Turaga.
IC: AuronThe Toa of Fire started to walk away from the stand, and walked with Aelynn."I think old Matoran no happy," The Toa said thoughtfully.
IC: "The 'lulz'...?" Kahlynn sighed, "Nevermind. Who's in charge around here?"
IC: AelynnThe Toa of Iron laughed at Auron's comment on the 'old Matoran'. "No," she agreed, "I don't think he was."They passed by a bakery, and Aelynn realised she hadn't eaten a thing since going to Pala-Koro. The smell coming out of the hut was drawing her closer...
IC: AuronThe Toa of Fire smelled the baking bread too."Food would be nice, have not had this kind of food before."
IC: Aelynn"Uh huh," she said, already walking to the small bakery. "I have a few more widgets... I could get us a few things."As soon as they walked inside, the Toa of Iron planted her face up against the glass display cases.
IC: AuronThe Toa of Fire laughed, "Get food then, it would be good."
IC: AelynnShe nodded, and to the matoran at the counter said, "Um, ok, we'll have two of those... One of those.. Few of these... Um..."Aelynn looked over the bag the matoran was filling. "I think that's good, Here," she handed the matoran the last of her widgets and carried the bag along with the tablets and books outside."Lets find a table," she decided.
IC: [Ril]"Some guy named Madrihk."
IC: We seen to be getting a awful lot of new people now, Kethrye thought as he examined the newcomer; A red armored Skakdi decked out in a old and beat up cloak."Er- I guess I am," he said, continuing after Ril. "Seeing as Madrihk is off in Ta-Koro."
IC: JiMingWalking through the dense jungle, JiMing called out, "Anyone there?"I hope somebody will actually be willing to talk with me.....OOC: So I, the new guy, needs interaction. I heard there was stuff going on here, so could someone interact? Please?
IC: [Ril]"Well yeah, Icy here is boss I think."
IC: Lux - Le-KoroNoting that neither of his companions had any suggestions, Lux shrugged, "Maybe...Ta-Koro? Something weird always seems to be going on there."IC: Plagia - JunglePlagia hacked through another piece of thick foliage, revealing a rather lost looking Ta-Matoran (JiMing)."Oh...hello there," the Toa said warily, "You lost or something?"-Void
IC: JiMing"Yeah, never been here before." he told Plagia."I'm on a quest to find out what happened to the Toa. You wouldn't happen to know anything about it?" he asked hopefully.OOC: Thanks for that interaction.
IC: Kahlynn rudely pushed past Kethrye into the village, and spoke without turning around as he inspected the huts, "Well, whatever, I need a place to stay before I go and trash that Nui-Rama hive on the other end of the jungle, canyou accommodate?"***Readra nodded, "Yeah, Ta-Koro sounds good. Let's get going, shall we? Hopefully I'll find me some weapons there after my other butterfly sword got annihilated by the Rahkshi back in Po-Koro."
IC: [Ril]"I have a spare ditch lying around."
IC: "Kind of you." Kahlynn spat, his words rife with sarcasm.
IC: [Ril]"Come on man, it's an awesome hole. It's perfectly dug and still warm from the molten metal I accidentally stuck in there."
IC: "Wow, just... Wow." Kahlynn was awestruck at how inhospitable these people were.
IC: [Ril]"Warm bed man! I sleep in one as well."
IC: "Forget it." Kahlynn said conclusively.
IC: [Ril]"You gotta feel the love man."OOC: I have no idea where I'm going with Ril.
OOC: Neither do I
IC: Kahlynn raised an eyebrow in confusion. Hopefully not everyone here was this... Bizarre.
IC:Kethrye shook his head in wonderment."What, exactly, are you two talking about," he said to Ril and the stranger. "It's all been gibberish to me."
IC: Kahlynn sighed, "I'm not too certain to be honest. From what I've gathered, he wants me to sleep in a hole with some molten metal or something. Anyway, your the leader here, what can you tell me about what your doing and whether I can stay here."
IC:Kethtye glared at Ril. Just what this group needs, another maniac." We're the Island Liberation Squad, we fight evil and all that other hero-stuff," he replied, turning his eyes back towards the Skakdi newcomer. "Yeah, sure. You can stay. And your name is. . .?"
IC: "Kahlynn. Rahi Hunter." he held out his hand to shake, "An I'm not staying for long. Only until tomorrow, when I attack the Rama Hive. You're all welcome to join me, if you wish."OOC: ![]()
IC:"A single being. . . going up against hundreds of Rahi?" Kethrye shook in head in sadness. "And I hoped you were not another utter nut job."
IC: AuronThe Toa of Fire nodded at a empty table, which no other patrons were seated at.
IC: IraanusStrength and energy flowed through Iraanus' body as he stood and began to move around; a good, long rest had done wonders. "Aye," he agreed, quickly scooping up his pack and weapons. He pulled out the powerless Pakari, the sunlight glinting off its golden surface. "I have to deliver this eventually," he explained. "Not the most becoming of jobs, I know, but I was in a hurry and needed some cash." He put the mask away and headed for the door. "But that can wait. I agree, we should have a chat with the elder about hospitality. Not very good manners to let guests on your island get attacked by those creatures from karz."
OOC: Not gonna tell him what the ILS are going to do fairly soon (game time), are you? Fine by me then...IC: "Suicidal? Bah! I've taken on hordes of Rahi, Rahkshi even! What makes this hive any different, eh?" Kahlynn exclaimed. This was a lie, mostly. He was a skilled Rahi hunter, and had taken down injured Rahkshi once or twice in his time, but never an entire hive, or a healthy Rahkshi. His aim to attack the hive alone was slightly far-fetched, even for him.
IC:Kethrye burst into laughter."It took a group of dozens to take out three Rahkshi, and even that came with causalities," the Toa of Ice said. "You're claiming that you've killed them yourself?" he rolled his eyes."Besides, if taking out the hive was so easy, wouldn't somebody else already destroyed it?"
IC: "Hmm... That's a good point. Why don't you come, too? I could use this many people. You lot could be my... Soldiers, if you will." Kahlynn did not like working with others, but if it would wipe the stupid smile off that Toa of Ice's face when he burned the hive down, so be it.
IC:"Matter of fact, we already plan on destroying the Nui-Rama hive," Kethryre replied, stifling his laughter. "We're still waiting on receiving reinforcements from the Gukko Force and several other militia before we try, though.""Besides, us join you? We'd be fine with the opposite, but what reason would make us crown you leader," he continued, smirking.
IC: AelynnThe Toa of Iron set the supplies she had bought down next to the table. She sat down, and pulled out two pastries from the bag, handing one to Auron.Aelynn happily began munching on it. "Mmmm..... Been a while since I ate..."
IC: An expression of nervous confusion appeared on Kahlynn's face, "Ah, um, well... Right, the truth is, I didn't see that coming. I'll join you guys, then..."
