IC: KurotThe Vortixx ran hurriedly over towards the oven which had promptly began belching smoke from its metallic maw. Upon flinging the door open, she reared back and howled in pain as the seared into her eyes. Why did she choose to spend so much time perfecting the art of killing? Cooking would have been far more appropriate.OOC: Again, true story.
IC: Incommodo"Really? I didn't really catch on when Chronn said we were fired." Sarcasm had a tendency to lighten moments. "So, what do we know about this guy so far? I know he's a Toa of Sonics, that he has a lot of people working for him, has access to timed explosives, and has it in for Chronn, but not much else. Did you find out anything while I was otherwise occupied?"
IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Ta-Wahi)Raknar sighed as she walked out."So, uh...where were we?" he asked Song, that stereotypical Skakdi grin stretching back on to his face.-Teezy
IC: DekalBoredom slowly seeped into the Toa of sonics, waiting to set sail and get going. Dekal resisted the urge to tap his foot or show any gestures of impatience but the most he could do was talk about it."So Dehkaz, when do you plan on setting sail?" he asked casually.
IC: Hajia, Ga-KoroHajia giggled at Gravity's reaction. "That's right, this is your first morning at Hound's..." She said as she got up. "Follow me," She whispered as she stood and began to stealthly walking towards the house, and then around the edge of it.
IC: Gravity"Uh, ok..." I said, and followed the Toa of Water towards the house and around it.There was a few things on my mind, such as, She's hot, and, What the Karz are they doing?IC: DehkazHe squinted at his first mate. "Um... We've been sailing towards Po-Wahi for the past hour or so.""I believe you should get some rest, my friend."
IC: Dekal"Ah, I see..." Dekal said almost thoughtfully, embarrassed but not revealing any inkling of it, remaining completely composed and laid-back as usual. Looking around, he did notice that they were not indeed docked in Ga-Koro...how unobservant of him.Rather than wallow in his own mild embarrassment, the Toa of sonics made his way down to the kitchen to go have a nice chat with their new crew member, Kurot. Mainly because she was the only female he had actually spoken to in a long time."How goes it? I see your cooking is making some...progress."
IC-Grochi:Grochi waved expansively at the ship. "Like what I've done with this thing?" He asked proudly, smiling. He put an arm around Laviha's shoulders, leading her around the ship."I've armoured it," he mentioned, and then he pulled away the banner and armour, "I've reinforced the hull in a few places..." and quite a few other things he said besides. Then he noticed that he had his arm around Laviha, and pulled away guiltily. Verak just laughed behind them.
IC: SongSong was still staring at the door. "How the karz did she do that? She just ninja'd her way into the cabin, got what she wanted, and left." Song was staring at the door, dumbfounded.
IC: Hajia & Hound, Ga-KoroHajia silently sneaked to the backside of the hut, where they could see the source of the noise.Hound stood in a meadow-like area, filled with gigantic stones and boulders. Twirling around, he slammed his fist into one, and it exploded. Impressive, considering it stood as big around as he stood tall, and was made of granite. Roundhouse kicking another one, it shattered as well. He had yet to notice them, for all of his attention was on the rocks.Intensive training was almost to kind a word.
IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Ga-Wahi)"Hey, hey, hey," said Raknar, moving a dresser in front of the door and another in front of the hole in the wall, "don't worry about it. She can't get back in now."He turned back to the Toa of Lightning."So...where were we again?"-Teezy
IC: Kurot"Um...Progress...Progress is one word," Kurot ran around frantically wafting smoke away. "You like yours well done, right? Like, charcoal black? Like charcoal?"
IC: LavihaImpressed with the ship's repairs, upgrades and modifications, Laviha gave Grochi a dull applaud with a smile, not mockingly though. "Nice work, Grochi. Probably the best anyone on this ship could do and you've done it."OOC: Isn't Grochi a little bit old for Laviha...? IC: DekalDekal watched comically from the sidelines as Kurot ran around the smoking kitchen, panicky and all. He couldn't help but chuckle however he was disappointed to know his meal was...burnt."I guess you could say I like my food...cooked." he hinted.
IC: KurotKurot finally managed to find the black shapeless mass at the back of the oven. "You can describe this as cooked...If you wanted."
OOC: Please, my stepdad is 20 years older than my Mom. I don't think that'll make a difference where everybody might as well be as old as everybody else. :PBesides, Grochi still acts like he's in his early 200's.
IC-Verak and Grochi:"Oi!" Verak called, running over to them. "Don't forget me and m'crew!""Yes," Grochi said, smiling back at Laviha, "Don't forget about him. He'll probably use his powers to contort the ship into a house if we make him mad." He looked sidelong at Verak. "Not that it isn't already, but still...""Mobile houses are more fun," Verak said bluntly. He then looked back at the ship. "Hmm...Grochi, do you mind if I join the crew to keep the ship repaired? Along with my workers?""I, er," Grochi said, unable to come up with anything for the moment, "That'd probably cost a lot, but I don't see why we couldn't make it work." He smiled. "Once Raknar is done with what he's doing, I'll talk to him about it."
IC: Gravity"My god... That guy is a friggin' beast," I said quietly to Hajia, very, very impressed."I could probably lift one of those up, but shattering it without my power, forget that."IC: DehkazHe shook his head at Dekal, before turning his attention back to the bay. They would reach Ta-Wahi soon. From there it was strait to Po-Wahi.
IC: Mantoxis landed his gukko in the streets of Ga-koro, and looked around. He wasn't sure how well this koro would go, considering the failure of getting recruits in Ta-koro. Nevertheless, he began his walk. "I wonder if Turaga Nokama will aide me in finding help," he wondered. Walking towards the center of the koro, he shouted, "Enlist in the Ta-koro army! Join the fight today!"OOC: Mantoxis is open for interaction. BTW, anyone for hire?
IC: SongSong smirked, quickly forgetting about Lasinia. "You bugger. You know exactly where we were."
IC: DekalDekal gingerly handled the charcoal black meal Kurot had cooked up for him as if it was some disgusting science experiment gone wrong. Scratch that, it wasn't even edible; you couldn't even call it a meal. Still, out of politeness, he took a bite and chewed the ashen food with a smiling face, apparently unperturbed by the sheer nastiness of its flavor. However on the inside, his pallet felt like the worse it had ever been in its life."Well...that was a pretty decent meal...no, no it wasn't. I think you may need some cooking classes my dear because I think I'm going to go throw up."Hurriedly, the Toa ran up the stairs and onto the deck with a hand over his mouth and just as he reached the ship's ledge, he bent over and rejected the food, spitting out every bit. Dehkaz just so happened to be standing beside him. Once he was finished convulsing, Dekal merely gave the captain a look and a nod which spoke for itself: Kurot was a terrible cook. With that out of the way, he returned to the kitchen and clapped his hands together, his mouth still a cheery and laid-back smile.
IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Ga-Wahi)"Ohh, I dunno," said Raknar with a matching smirk. "I guess."He smirked and hugged Song before looking back at the bed.-Teezy
IC: KurotOkay, Kurot, they're smiling! That's a good sign! Maybe when you try again next time it might be a little better! She thought happily to herself."Well, I'd be happy to cook again tomorrow if you wanted!"
IC: Dehkaz"..." was his only comment on the situation."Oh, Mata Nui, I think I'm going to start laughing," the Toa of Magnetism said with a worried look on his face, "Someone please help."
IC: DekalIf Dekal wasn't such a nice guy to his associates and friends, he would have revealed to Kurot a look of horror on his face. Never again did he want to taste such a meal in his life and nor was he going to; he refused to."How about I help you cook tomorrow, okay? Master chef Dekal could show you a few tips and tricks." he suggested in his casual voice, continuously smiling. Of course, he was lying about him being a master chef but Kurot didn't need to know that...
IC: KurotOh, by the grace of Mata Nui, yes, please step in, please don't make me cook ever again, oh Artakha I couldn't stand being responsible for that eldritch horror ever again."Sure," she grinned cheerfully.
IC: Tuara - Ga-KoroTuara smirked again, "Pass me one."IC: Utu - Ga-WahiUtu stood back up again, "Where is Dorian?"IC: Tank - Ga-Wahi"Good question."Utu crossed his arms and sighed, "He didn't tell either of you guys where he was going did he?" He asked the others.
IC: SongSong grinned. "That better not be the same bed as Doomie."
IC: Angelus (Grove, Ga-Wahi)Angelus smirked and flipped out the first two waffles, dicing up bits of one of the chocolate bars on both and plating them. He passed one to Tuara and began to go to town on his."Picked up this recipe a couple years ago on my way back to Le-Wahi from Po-Koro," said Angelus, eyes wide in satisfaction. "Second best decision I've ever made."IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Ta-Wahi)"Of course not. That bed's been through enough for one day."He looked at the other bed and grinned."That one hasn't, though."-Teezy
OOC: That totally reminds me, hey TX, you mind taking back Morik?IC: Nikila (MB Clearing)The Toa of Water shook her head. She just saw the Toa of Iron walk off, but thats it.
IC: Dekal"Alright, why don't we head on up? We should be arriving soon and could grab a snack in Po-Koro when we get there." Dekal said, leading both of them upstairs."Dehkaz, we almost here? At least Ta-Wahi?"OOC: When are we going to arrive
? Morik can die ![]()
IC: SongSong smiled. "Very good point. I think that status should be changed. What about you?"
OOC:Awesome.IC: MorikThe Akrainid was nowhere to be found, probably because a Tekea decided to have a snack. A Mark Bearer snack.OOC: Done.IC: Dehkaz"Hmm?" He said, looking up from the sea."Oh, yes, we should be arriving now."He was right, they had just crossed over to Ta-Wahi.OOC: The Fowadi and her crew to Ta-Wahi. ![]()
IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Ga-Wahi)Grinning, Raknar jumped on to the bed, bouncing slightly."Seems good to me," he said, sitting on top of it.-Teezy
IC: SongWith a laugh, Song followed suit, except she bounced up into the air, and flipped before landing next to Raknar on the bed. "Well, isn't this a rather bouncy bed!" She commented as she bounced slightly on impact.
IC: Raknar (Infernavika, Ta-Wahi)"Wait ten minutes and it'll be even bouncier," said the Skakdi of Stone with a smirk.-Teezy
IC: Song Song's face morphed into a matching smirk. "That, it will."******************Anyone walking by the cabin soon after would hear the creaking of bed springs as just that occurred.
IC: Hound & Hajia, Ga-KoroHajia nodded. "He's insane. You should see him with his spear." She said a bit loudly.Hound whipped around faster than the eye could follow, his body trembling from the pure force and power running through it. "Who?" He growled through clenched teeth, having not yet spotted them.
IC: Gravity"Oh Mata Nui! Dude, wait, no pounding us to pulp! Friends!" I exlaimed, eyes a bit wide from what I had just saw, that guy is freaking scary when he does stuff like that."It just us, man."
IC: Hound & Hajia, Ga-KoroHound relaxed. "Ah, Gravity. May I ask why you were watching me practice?" He asked suspicion in his voice.Hajia stepped into sight. "We heard the sounds, Hound." She said to calm him down. "I was going to show him you training. It's not everyday you get to see someone bust rocks with their fists." She said quietly, looking to the ground. In comparison to gigantic Hound, she looked like a toddler.
IC: GravityFor some odd reason, I felt suddenly protective of Hajia. I pushed it down, and spoke up, "Yeah. Dude, do you do this every day?"I didn't bother hiding the part of my voice that said I was really impressed.
IC: Hound & Hajia, Ga-KoroHound switched his attention back to Gravity. "Yes. Before the others wake, I finish and haul in new stones for the next day." He said, his intelligent eyes watching Gravity closely, scrutinizng every movement he made, no matter how subtle. "I was thinking about visiting some fighting clubs later today, would you be interested?" He said, making the question a challenge.
