IC: Toranmat finally woke up to the rough sensation of being dragged to the ship by Treize. "Oh..hey Captain. Wut happened?" He had a very slight drunken slur, but he was intelligible now.
IC: [Treize]"You were drunk."
IC: Toranmat looked at a bar in the distance. Evidently some of it was set on fire. "And that bar?"
IC: [Treize]"You started a bloody bar fight. Now my sister will be pestering me because I told them to send whatever bills they got to her."
IC: Toranmat stared. "I...started...all that?" He was shocked for a moment, and then... "WOW! I MUST BE AN AWESOME FIGHTER!"
IC: [Treize]"No you aren't."
IC: "Aw. Well, I did have a dream about defeating several opponents by slipping and falling on them then rolling and tripping them..." The dream came clearer to mind. "Wait a minute...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He was suddenly embarrassed.OOC: Just out of curiosity, (And I'm never going to try THIS, for the sake of the sanity of any involved...) what do you think would result from drunk Xanthium?
OOC: MADNESS.IC: [Treize]"Exactly."
IC: Toranmat tried to stand, but he couldn't feel his legs. "I can barely move...alcohol is numbing as Karz."
IC: [Treize]"That's why you don't drink too much while on duty."
IC: "Sorry. When I drink, I forget how much I drank out of the influence of the alcohol, causing me to drink more and forget that I had any, and drink more, and so on..usually leads to that. I was trying to stay moderate."
IC: [Treize]"I now have a new task. To keep you away from alcohol."
IC: "I guess I lost the right to resist..." Toranmat hiccuped again.
IC: [Treize]"Yes you have."
OOC: Lerahk already? Your speed in getting these new post titles is astounding. IC: "So, now what?"
IC: Reordin (Le-Koro)Reordin cursed. After several hours, not only had he been unable to find any trace of Matau, but word was coming in that Nokama and Onewa had also been kidnapped. As of yet, Onewa's kidnapping was looking to be unrelated to the kidnappings of the other two, but still..."We need to move to Onu-Koro," he said to his new companion. (OOC: Hi, Krayzikk. :3) "We should try and secure Whenua."OOC: Reordin to Onu-Koro.-Teezy
OOC: Yup.IC: [Treize]"I'd throw you in the brig, but then again, I suppose I can use you as a distraction if I'm surrounded by menacing Toa of Doom."
OOC: ILS members returning from Onu-WahiIC: AlfonThe damp and humid smell of the jungle's plant and soil wafted in Alfon's nostrils, his eyes invaded with so much color, green and sunlight. As predicted, his eyes had a low tolerance for sunshine at the moment so he tended to stick to the shadows. Le-Wahi was always preferable to Onu for Alfon. In a relatively quiet journey on the way back, they soon came into the clearing of Lake Pala, the village's towering walls coming into view. He couldn't help but break into a grin."Weeeee're hooooooooome!" Alfon declared in a loud cheerful voice as they approached the gates.OOC: Finally...
IC: Toranmat gulped. "Toa of Doom? Is that some new element, or did I make the people at the bar THAT mad?"OOC: I know that's not a new element, lol.
IC-Dendron:"Yes," Dendron said happily, "Yes we are." He walked along beside Alfon, leaving Kal back to talk to Trakuda. "And it looks to me like you've got three new guys here," he said, pointing over to where Kethrye was talking with some others.
IC: Almost as soon as the arrived, Trakuda disappeared. Were anyone to look, they would have found him sitting alone in the main building, sobbing quietly, clutching Solia's mask in the vain hope that she would come back.***Kahlynn, meanwhile, was going into a drunken rant about Husi prices.
OOC:
IC: MehlnaiA gold blurr suddenly raced past the Toa of Lightning. The blurr, realising she had missed him, turned back around towards Alfon."Yay! You're back! What happened? Who are these people? Where did Trakuda go?" Mehlnai asked, rapid fire.
OOC: Dear God...IC: AlfonEnergetic as always, Mehlnai was actually the first to greet the returning members much to Alfon's surprise but it still cheered him up to see a familiar face. However, the Toa of electricity always remained oblivious to Mehlnai's feelings for him."Whoa, slow down, it's good to see you too." Alfon said chuckling, patting her on the shoulder. "Well...as for what happened, I'll tell you later when I have time. Those two are Dendron and Kal. Guys, this is Mehlnai." "As for Trakuda..." he began, his face turning slightly somber. "We uh...we discovered that his girlfriend died...poor little guy's torn up completely. I'd ask that we leave him to his mourning for now and that we don't make a big hustle and bustle about it."Alfon began pushing past Mehlnai and gave her a look saying that he had to take care of business before he could settle down. Settling himself in the HQ, he began writing down a report for the group 'leaders' eyes only. It pretty much explained whether the Ussalry would show up at all was unclear at the moment and the discovery of Solia's corpse."Kethrye, I need to talk to you!" Alfon called through the entrance.
IC:"Yes?" Kethrye said, turning away from the three newcomers to face Alfon.
IC: AlfonAlfon led the two inside the HQ to gain some privacy, needing to talk to the Toa of ice one on one."Well, long time no see, Kethrye. Been a while since my departure to Onu-Koro but right now, lets save the pleasantries for later." he started. "Anything happen while I've been gone?"
IC:"Apart from the large group of new people wondering around?" Kethrye replied. "Madrihk is off checking on the group in Ta-Koro, but other then that, everything has been okay."Any reason you asked?"
IC: Alfon"Just wanted you to keep me up to speed. I just finished writing my report for Madrihk but I figured I'd let you know what's going on. Lots of stuff..." he began, an explanation concerning the Ussalry's status, the collapse of the Great Mine and the disappearance of Whenua following."I don't expect the guys from Onu-Koro to join us so I say we assume the worst and count them out. Now for our discussion concerning our little diplojack Trakuda..." Alfon's voice trailed off, showing hints of somberness.
IC:"Diplojack? What's diplojack jack. . ." Kethrye muttered. "Trakuda? He still seems pretty bend up about Solia leaving for who-knows-where. Odd, isn't it? I would have thought Solia would haev stayed long enough to say good buy to him."Kethrye shrugged, his face grimaced. "As far as we know she could be dead. Mata Nui's a dangerous place."
IC: AlfonAlfon's face turned grim even further upon Kethrye's mention of Solia's possible death, wordlessly confirming the Toa of ice's suspicions if he looked carefully enough."And you just so happen to be right: she is dead. Found her corpse and now wee little Trakuda's bawling his eyes out..." he said, feeling sorry for the Matoran of ice.
OOC: Just so you know TX, the Ussalry guys are coming (at least I think they are), because just after we left Sulov said to his companions that they were going to ride in half an hour.IC: Trakuda stowed Solia's mask away, but stayed where he was, trying to compose himself.
IC:"She's dead!" Kethrye said, wincing. No wonder Trakuda seems so distant. "Sad. What exactly happened to her?
NPC: Sanctum Force Contingent (Pala-Koro)As if on cue, about a dozen Sanctum Guard forces marched into Pala-Koro in four rows of three, standing and saluting in synchronization."Sergeant Darrick Bane reporting for duty, sir!" the middle soldier in the front row said.OOC: Don't ever accuse Reordin of not doing.-Teezy
OOC: I know Wotz but Alfon doesn't.IC: Alfon"Don't know but it's confirmed that her death wasn't caused naturally. It makes me uncomfortable to think that one of our own is dead...it opens up many possibilities and potential dangers." Alfon said, half-muttering."I suggest we keep an eye on newcomers and try to keep hush hush about this: Trakuda won't like us making a big deal out of th-" Alfon's words were cut off as he heard footsteps gather near the gate. Motioning for Kethrye to follow with his head, he made his way to the gate only to find many soldiers of the Sanctum Guard."I say...I'm impressed. What did you say your name was? Reordin sent you buggers to help with the assault? 'Cause if not, the next fast food place is a few miles away in Le-Koro."
IC:Kethrye swung hi gaze up and down at the newly arrived Sanctum Guard. At east one of the militia decided to send us a little help, he thought. Now all we need is Madrihk and the rest of the Ta-Koro group.Kethrye grinned, shaking his head. "This day just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?"
NPC: Sanctum Guard Contingent (Pala-Koro)"Lieutenant Saporta sent us to help assist with the Hive operation by any means necessary, sir!" barked out Darrick Bane. "Awaiting orders."-Teezy
IC: Alfon"At ease, Darrick, no need for the formalities here unless you wanna end up scrubbing my back clean." Alfon said half-jokingly, half-seriously. "Get your men inside the Koro, there are a few huts that can hold you guys for the time being. We have food and other medical supplies so don't be shy...although I expect you guys to have your own meds. I'm Alfon, currently leading as a replacement for Madrihk, off in Ta-Koro recruiting at the moment.""Unless you have any questions, you're dismissed."
NPC: Sanctum Guard Contingent (Pala-Koro)"Yes, sir!" said Bane, signalling for his troops to follow. "Detachment Alpha, Huts 1 and 3! Detachment Beta, Huts 2 and 4! Move out!"The twelve soldiers moved to their assigned huts.-Teezy
IC: Taro wasn't much of a fan of Le-Wahi. Almost everything about the place he disliked to an extent. It was the humidity and bugs he despised the most. Trudging through the undergrowth, he kept an eye out for possible threats.Fighting the Nui-Rama wouldn't be half bad. Sure, they could fly, lift a Matoran up into the sky and drop him down into the jungle below. But at least they were not Rahkshi. His failed vacation in Po-Koro and wounding from Rahkshi staff had made him somewhat scared of the things.IC: Aryll couldn't help but be a bit impressed. Madrihk had been able to sucessfully gather guardsmen from three Koros to fight in this little battle. Though he was a little disappointed about not planning it out, he figured the natives could figure a decent strategy out. He'd fought a variety of things in his long career. The rama were going to rather easy.
IC: Madrihk, Mevi (Pala-Koro)"We are back," Madrihk stated plainly as he entered the gate of the small village. He looked around for a few seconds, and smiled in satisfaction when he saw all the people who were gathered there."Magnificent," he said. "This is looking better by the minute."The Toa of Ice counted the number of different elements he saw present."I see we got soldiers from Le-, Ko and Ta-Koro," he muttered to himself. "...And there's Alfon and Trakuda, finally back from Onu-Koro. Plus some new guys from other places. Well, well..."Mevi felt a bit uneasy amongst all the strangers. Here, in the middle of the jungle, her status as a Ta-Koro Guard didn't mean much for keeping order."What do you want us to do?" she asked."Show the Ta-Matoran where they can stay," Madrihk answered. "If anyone asks, I'll be updating myself on my team. We'll hold a formal gathering for discussing battle strategy later."Mevi nodded, and Madrihk walked over to where Alfon and Kethrye were standing."Good to see you again, Alfon," he said with a smile, "I was beginning to wonder if you guys had fallen into a mine shaft or something."
IC: Alfon"Good to see you too Madrihk." Alfon replied, returning the smile. "I've got a full report written up for you at HQ but I'm letting you know right now, it ain't pretty. If you'd rather, I could come discuss it with you actually.
