IC: Toranmat laughed, and gulped in nervousness at the same time. It was a rather strange sound, and ended in a drunken hiccup. "Ok...I guess we should go."
IC:Kethrye nodded in agreement with Alfon.Hearing Ril's rantings, Kethrye groan. "You know what? I'm not even sure what they were drinking. . ."OOC: Last post for tonight.
IC: [Treize]"Yes we should."---IC: [Ril]"GENTLEMEN, I LOVE WAR!"
OOC: I wish Barricade was here to see Drunken Ril. IC: "So, where to next, captain?"
IC: [Treize]"Let's head to Ko-Wahi. Might find some bored people there."
IC: "Yeah...IF THE WATER DOESN'T FREEZE AROUND THE SHIP!" Toranmat was trying not to go there. He, like most Ta-Matoran, hated the cold.
IC: [Treize]"It won't freeze. What could possibly go wrong?"
IC: "I could freeze." Toranmat said under his breath.
IC: [Treize]"Don't be a wimp. I live in a tropical region and I'm fine with the cold. You live in a volcano."
IC: Toranmat nodded. "All right."
IC: [Treize]"Well, let's go. I'll sail. I don't trust you with driving while you're drunk."
OOC: Hey, Inspiration. Journey of the Toa has been completed, tell me what you think.IC: "Oh come on, I'm fine." Toranmat got up, took 3 steps, and fell over. "Ok, maybe not."
OOC: Alright.IC: [Treize]"See, now come on, let's head back to the ship."
IC: "Yeah...I can't do that. You're gonna have to drag me over."
IC: [Treize]"Fine," she muttered as she began to drag her subordinate back to the ship.
IC: "My rear hurts."
IC: [Treize]"Don't really care," she replied as they got onto the ship. "Now go sit down and don't puke."
IC: Toranmat sat down. He got dizzy, so he fell over and lied down.
IC: [Treize]"Well, off we go I suppose," she muttered as she began to sail the ship out of the dock.
IC: Madrihk"Right," the Toa of Ice said, watching everyone flock into the large - but not overly so - hut. "I meant for you all to gather outside, but I guess this works too. Might as well use the opportunity to say something before the rest joins in."He pointed at Alfon, Vompran and Kethrye in order, stating their names as he went."You are hereby officially pronounced deputy leaders of the Island Liberation Squad," he explained to them. "Ledzel too, when he arrives. The reason is that I know you the best, and I trust you. Thanks for staying on board, guys. Just remember that even leaders have to listen to their squad around here. No tyranny in my absence, please," he joked.Madrihk marked each of them with a small triangle besides their name on his list. He was about to strike Solia's name with a scribble, but ended up putting a star next to it instead. It seemed more respectful that way."Onyx, Ackune, Kirbati... I don't know them as well as I should yet, but they have been of great help so far. Consider them among the trusted members along with Trakuda, of course. Solia would be among them as well, but regretfully..."He looked over at Alfon."We should probably have a short memorial service for her," he said lowly, so that most of the others would not hear. "But let us wait until after the mission goes down. It might not be good for morale to start the operation with a funeral."
IC:The group was joined shortly by Trakuda, who wore a serious expression and did not catch anyone's eye. He simply merged with the crowd in the HQ.Kahlynn was too drunk to understand that he was supposed to go to the HQ in the first place, and continued his ramblings, eventually crashing down into the lake.OOC: Just in advance: The next time it's 'night' in-game, could we not timeskip it, as I have some nightmares for Trakuda to have :evilgrin:Also, I intend to have Trakuda fight Kahlynn at some point in his anger.
IC: [Ril]"MOON BUNNIES. THEY ARE THE ENEMIES!"
IC: Alfon"Well...this is a pleasant surprise." Alfon muttered, slowly grasping what Madrihk had bestowed upon him. Pausing slightly, his face turned into a smile before giving the Toa of ice a genuine: "Thank you."Now getting a better hold of himself, he shook off his little daze as his thinking wheels began to spin once more. Talking with his fellow squad members and new deputy leaders about this type of stuff would have to wait. Now broaching the topic of Solia, he whole-heartedly agreed that a funeral would be respectful but depressing at the same time, not very good for morale like Madrihk had mentioned."I think that would be a good idea." he pitched in, giving a slight nod of his head. "Trakuda's already in an absolutely different mindset of his own at the moment and I don't want the guy to be even more teary-eyed and dysfunctional than he is now...I'll have to talk to him, try to cheer him up."Out of the corner of his eye, as if on cue, Trakuda filled into the crowd seamlessly, not very hard for a Matoran among tall beings who wants to avoid contact at the moment. He still looked grim."Anything else before we move on?"
IC-Jaron:Unnoticed by all but Tillian, a familiar Toa of Fire was walking along beside the Po-Koro guardsman. He turned his head, looking over at Tillian."Tillian," he said. "Good job staying alive back there."
IC: Tillian (Outside Crimson Nova Outpost, Le-Koro)Tillian nodded in greeting to Jaron."It's...odd...being dead," he thought. "What did you see?"-Teezy
IC-Jaron:"I saw all my friend's going on to live good lives, when I died," Jaron said. "But that was only if the Great Spirit's plan progressed smoothly-seems to me like Makuta keeps managing to interfere with it." He frowned at Tillian."All I can tell you is don't give up," he said gravely. "If you do, you'll turn into what you saw before."
IC: Tillian (Outside Outpost, Le-Koro)"That's just it, Jaron. I...I didn't see anything. It was just nothingness."He closed his eyes and sighed heavily, clearly shaken."What's that supposed to mean? I don't even deserve a proper ending?"-Teezy
IC-Jaron:Jaron smiled at Tillian. "It means you weren't really dead, mate," he said. "You kept yourself alive, all the doctors did was wake you up." He clapped Tillian on the shoulder. "That's why I said good job staying alive."
IC: Tillian (Outside Outpost, Le-Koro)Tillian smiled a bit."You're speaking in tongues again, old man," he thought with a gradually growing grin, which soon faded."Could you tell Emotia...could you tell her I love her?"-Teezy
IC: Plagia - Lake PalaPlagia cupped her hands to her mouth and shouted, "DENDRON!"Bringing her hands back to her sides, she glanced around, trying to see if the call had had any effect.OOC: It has taken every ounce of my willpower not to make the obvious Pendragon joke. Be thankful.-Void
IC-Jaron:"Can do," Jaron said. He smiled again. "But I'm fairly certain she already knows that." That said, he faded off as he walked along with them.IC-Dendron:Dendron had been on his way with the others to the HQ building, but then he heard his and Kal's names called. They smiled, grabbing Mussiki and his friends, and shoving them into the HQ building too."Listen," he told them quietly.
IC: JiMing"Wait, listen to what?" he asked.
IC: Plagia - HQ BuildingPlagia snarled, before twisting, grabbing Dendron's wrist, not enough to harm it, but enough to hurt him."Don't touch me," she growled, glaring at him.-Void
IC: JiMing"Whoa there, I don't think you have to go that far." he told Plagia.
IC-Mussiki:"Please, Plagia, let go of my brother," Mussiki said, smiling. "Before he decides to...Well...act himself," Mussiki finished lamely."You're saying you have a problem with how I act?" Dendron said, smiling wolfishly at Plagia."At times."
IC: Skyra - Near the Crimson Nova Outpost -Skyra looked at Tillian. "So, should we see if that Vortixx is here and kick his ***?" IC: Emotia - Crimson Nova Outpost? - Emotia was still laying on the floor as Rekyr cuffed her. She just lay their, letting the high from the Mark drown the pain away.
IC-Jaron:"Emotia," Jaron said, kneeling down by the Toa of Water. "You certainly look like you're having fun."
IC: Emotia - Crimson Nova Outpost? - Emotia started to laugh, her captures probably though she was losing her mind from the grief or whatever. Yeah, I'm having lots of fun... She thought to Jaron as she rolled her eyes. I'm not sure what I'll feel like when this mark induced high wears off...but it's not gonna be pretty...
IC-Jaron:"Yes...well, I've got a message from Tillian for you." Jaron smiled. "He says he still loves you, though I doubt you ever thought he didn't...that, and he's alive, just so you know," he said then. "I figured a bit of good news might help your outlook."
IC: Emotia - Crimson Nova Outpost? - He's alive...Her face brightened up considerably, but she decided not to let her captors know that and didn't say anything out loud. Thanks for telling me Jaron...that's not against the rules of being a ghost to tell me that is it? She thought to Jaron jokingly.
