IC: AuronThe Toa coughed, and gasped to stabilize his breathing. He blinked and rubbed his eyes, and sat up and was "prodded" in the face by Kethrye, which immeadetly caused him to fall back, unsure what had happened. He finally sat up, and stared at the white Toa, "Why Toa hurt me?"
IC: AelynnThe Toa of Iron stood up, a bit unsteady, and looked around. Yep, she was definately back in her hut. She was almost certain that what had just happened was a vision of some sort. It couldn't have been a memory, right?Aelynn shook her head and walked over to the main hut, deciding to take a long nap after all of this was over. She stepped into the HQ, staying away from one of the newer beings there, and found her way over to Auron, who was currently sitting on the ground with Kethrye standing over him."Uhh... Is everything alright?" she asked.
IC:"Did Ril offer to share a drink with you?" Kethrye asked, shaking his head as he helped Auron to his feat. "Ah, hi Aelynn, would you mind helping me a little? Auron here seems to have passed out. "
IC: Aelynn"Huh? Yeah, Ok," she said, helping Auron onto his feet."What happened?" she asked.
IC: Madrihk"If all goes well, we shall all be celebrating our victory near the smoking rubble of the hive," Madrihk said with a confident smile. "If not," he continued, still with a somewhat joking grin, "then we'll scatter to the winds and eventually rendezvous back here, yes."The then noticed Auron having fallen prone, and frowned."Great Beings, another drunkard?"
IC: Alfon"I certainly hope not." Alfon commented. "Should we start dividing ourselves into groups now just for the sake of organization and to waste little time?"
IC-Lashev:"My problem isn't the heights," Lashev muttered, walking over. "It's the fact that I don't trust the workmanship here." He shrugged, and slowly walked over the platform towards Sisk, ignoring the other Matoran's laughing. He scowled when he got closer to the Le-Matoran."You owe me something for that," he said.IC:Sisk raised an eyebrow. "You know-realize that we have-got a whole unit-crew to care-maintain the platforms, right?" To put emphasis on the point, he stomped his feet hard on the ground and did a little tap-dance. The sound of solid wood resonated under the cover of dried plant-material they used to camouflage the platforms under. "Besides they're strong-built on large-trees, live-trees. Unless you fail-jump over the edge you're perfectly fine-safe." he said with a chuckle. He waved at Lashev to come closer and to stop hugging the tree. "Sheesh, frost-friend, how will you hunt-fight Rahkshi like this? They're not height-scared, y'know."
IC: Plagia - HQ BuildingPlagia shrugged, "Oh yeah, I forgot about that. Well, it's up to you guys if you want to go. I don't mind either way, honestly."She grinned, "However, if we head in there, bring some rags, 'cause Rama blood is gonna be spilt."OOC: Should we decide to go into the Hive, I give the three of you (mandmboy, Kal Grochi and Belonephobia) permission to bunny Plagia, due to my sporadic posting habits (blasted scheduling!).
IC: [Ril]"I'm no mere drunkard. I'm the ULTIMATE DRUNK. Which involved me drinking 42 bottles of beer, but anyway."
IC: AuronThe Toa took Kethyre's hand and pulled himself up.After the comment about drinking with Ril, he replied, "I have not had a drink with Ril, I do not know Ril. I saw... something that happen long ago, no worry about it."
I.C. Vompran"So, will I be leading a ground squad or joining one?"
IC: "My question is almost the same as this toa's. Who should I go with?"OOC: Who will I go with?
OOC: Alright, I'll stop sending my Rogues Gallery at the ILS. I'll let Az sit back and watch. Oh, and let's just say Az came to Pala Koro earlier.IC: "We could always use another Toa on the advance team," Tarotrix said to Amerikos. "It could be your trial by fire,"IC: Within an hour, Az was near a modest little settlement by Lake Pala. Hiding in the bushes, he observed a variety of beings enter the main building. Steadily, he came to believe this was inhabited by a great deal of do-gooders.So, charging in and blowing the place to Kingdom come was out of the question.
IC: LansLans smiled as he watched the exchange between Lashev and Sisk, those two would make a good pair. Suddenly Lans found a Le-Matoran messenger run up to him. "Lans," That's right as an irregular, I don't get the title Sir. "You've been requested to meet with Commander Kongu. He wishes to know why you and rest of your squadron went MIA. Speaking of which, where is your squadron."Lans sighed, "They're dead." Lans replied simply, "Verdi and I are all that's left." Karz, when I was first reassigned I said I'd be off the squad in Two Weeks. Turns out I beat that time, but I never imagined it to be like this. "Take me to the Commander. I have some issues I wish to discuss." The Matoran would have sneered, had it not been for the fact that Lans had just lost his squad. Any other day, that Matoran and many others would have loved to see Lans be given his comeuppance by Kongu.
OOC: GAH! Too much filler. I'm posting. Tell me to edit what's wrong. :PIC: The DogGetting down from the heights was a simple matter of Tillian lowering the matoran to the ground safely. Finally, Ishi grumbled in his mind as he stumbled to a standing position. Floating up there, surveying the carvings, had given him a new and appreciative sense of the le-koroan culture. Somehow, everything they did had a sense of natural beauty. Unlike some things, he thought, giving a disgruntled look at his flying companion. "Let's not do the back flight again, shall we," Ishi muttered at Lazerbeak and then trundled off after the captain and Skyra. The air was musty, and his coat became heavier as the fabric absorbed a continous flow of moisture, eventually assailing the ground with small droplets each time he moved. Sweat dripped down the back of his exterior armor, leaving him with a horrid sense of discomfort. I take it back. Le-wahi is horrid. Give me the deserts of Po any day. It's hot, but not moist like this. Reaching the doorway to the outpost, Ishi peered inside and jumped down the small flight of steps. A large room waited for him as he stumbled his landing on the last stair. "Okay, what now?" He asked pensively at Tillian.
IC, Verdi: "Should I go with you, Lans?" asked Verdi. He though it only right to accompany his squadmate to the Commander.
OOC: Doing this mobile, so I can't fancy color my wordsIC: "Depends on what the advance team is," Amerikos replied. "I'm acting as the defensive for a hive destroyer crew, so if that's what the advance team is, then I'm already in. Otherwise, I don't think I can. Madrick gave me this position, so I'll continue with that."OOC: is that what the advance team is?-Bane
OOC: Tooroko and ship from Kumu Islets.IC (Tooroko): Toorokoand Rockosis left the smoking village far behind as they sailed for the mainland. Having bailed out what water they could on the journey across the strait, the ship was sailing smoothly, though the leak in the hull was taking on more water than it had been before. Tooroko guided the ship northwards up the island's western coastline before turning into the river delta that flowed down from Lake Kanae. In the calmer, inland waters, they had no trouble docking at the small port which serviced Le-koro."Well, here we are" Tooroko announced. Let's split up and go into the village. You look for somebody who can fix the ship, and I'll go after some supplies. That OK with you?"
IC: "Fine by me," Rockosis replied. "We'll meet backhere when we're done. Finding a fix won't be a problem, but getting it fixed will take a few days. Fine by you?"-Bane
IC (Tooroko): "No problem" the Vortixx called over his shoulder. He was already disembarking and starting to make his way into the village.
IC: [stronin]"I see lots and lots of trees. What do you think I should be looking for?"
OOC: You can decide. :PIC (Voi, Le-Wahi):"I don't know", Voi said. "I was hoping you'd see something out of the ordinary."
IC: [stronin]"Like that average looking mountain with a yawning pit in it?"
IC (Voi, Le-Wahi):"What?" Voi exclaimed. "That might well be the answer. You lead the way there and we will follow."
IC: [stronin]"Got it," said Stronin as he floated along, leading his compatriots through the jungle.
IC:Kahlynn looked thoughtfully at the drunk Ril, "Hmm... That's it! Alcohol!"After some bizarre expressions from some of the nearby members, he marched over to Ril and took one of his beer bottles, "Here, watch this, this is a trick I learnt ages ago, and it might come in handy when we attack the hive..."He tore off part of his cloak and stuffed it in the bottle, before setting it on fire with his heat vision, "Okay, so wait a sec, and..." he threw the bottle into the air, where it exploded over the lake, "So I was thinking we could use them to take out individual Rama, like a sort of grenade type weapon."
IC (Voi, Le-Wahi, Mountain Cave):As the group drew closer to the bizarre mountain with a cave in it, Voi quickened his pace, forcing the others to practically run to catch up to him. Clearly in a hurry to reach their destination, Voi began climbing the steep hills of the mountain without a backward glance. When he finally reached the pit, Voi hopped in, expecting the others to follow him soon.
OOC: Wotz, you need flammable substance inside bottle, then have cloth soaked in alcohol, then light it. Your way does not work.IC: [stronin]"Geronimo!" he said cheerfully, dropping in after.
OOC: CURSE YOU AND YOUR SCIENCEBut I thought Alcohol was flammable, and that the cloth was in the bottle and therefore soaked in alcohol?IC:Then Kahlynn realised that he was hallucinating."Oh... Never mind, guys, never mind."
OOC: Do not curse my science. CURSE WIKIPEDIA BOYA!IC: [stronin]Stronin, as he fell into the hole, slammed into a rock."Ow."
OOC: I wonder if Trad and Onarax even know where we are now. o_OIC (Voi, Le-Wahi, Mountain Cave):Voi hardly paid attention to Stronin's cry of pain. His eyes were focused on the walls of the cavern which had carvings on them. There was also text written in a language that no one in the team could understand. Voi, however, seemed to be able to read them with ease. He mumbled quietly to himself as he read the text.
OOC: Probably.IC: [stronin]"What is it?" asked Stronin, rubbing his head as he walked over to Voi's side.
IC (Voi, Le-Wahi, Mountain Cave):"Prophecies", Voi said. "It's written in a language said to be spoken on another island. I picked up the language once, when..."Voi suddenly grew silent. After a short while, he changed the subject."These prophecies should contain a clue about the location of the... mask. It's said that these texts were written by a Le-Matoran who was claimed to have come from the future. He was thought to be a prophet back then. Although he denied any knowledge of the future, legend has it that he knew about his talent well and wrote down some of his knowledge into a cave in Le-Wahi. This is the cave. Now if I could just find the right information..."For a while, Voi scanned the walls with his eyes. Then, he suddenly stopped at one point and read it over and over again."Oh my goodness", he breathed. "I think... I think I just found an apocalypse story or something."
OOC: You gets approval for the mask yet?IC: [stronin]"An apocalyptic log? But the world hasn't ended yet! Unless everything is merely an illusion."
OOC: You'll find out later why I don't have to. :PIC (Voi, Le-Wahi, Mountain Cave):"No, it's some kind a prophecy", Voi said. "It says that one day... Mata Nui himself shall awaken once more. But it also says that this awakening brings forth a great disaster. And it mentions a place called Kowa..."Voi shook his head. "This is not what we're here for. Now lemme see... Ah! I found the next clue. It says we need to prove our worth at the... temple of ice."
IC: [stronin]"Temple of ice. Ko-Wahi?"
IC (Voi, Le-Wahi, Mountain Cave):"Yeah. More specifically Ko-Kini."
IC: [stronin]"What was that again?"
IC (Voi, Le-Wahi, Mountain Cave):"Ko-Kini is the temple built to honor Kopaka", Voi explained. "Turaga Nuju and the Ko-Matoran used to visit in frequently before Kopaka arrived. And after that... well... it has served as a memorial of him."
IC: Finding a ship fixer who would fix their ship wasn't a problem. A willing Le-Matoran got to work almost immediately. However, he said that the fix would take a few days. "Great, so now what do I do? I wonder where Tooroko is.." he wondered. "Let's just hope he can find us some supplies. Finding a small sword on the ground, he picked it up. "Hmmm... This could be useful. I'll keep it with me."OOC: Can any of you ILS members answer my question that I posted earlier?-Bane
