IC: Dujour (Bank, Onu-Koro)"Ready," she said, smiling gratefully. "C'mon, Grecko."IC: Caige (Bar, Onu-Koro)"Bought it."-Teezy
IC: Chromia"Oh. I guess I just didn't notice it before." Chromia decided, shaking her head.
IC: TehlinWith that, he started to lead them back to the bar/inn/whatever. Grecko followed behind Dujour, hoping to get petted some more, and doing his best to look cute.
IC: Dujour (Bank, Onu-Koro)"You have no idea how lucky you are," said Dujour from beside Tehlin as she scratched Grecko's ears. "I always wanted a bear like him as a little girl. I still do, but Choi has a thing about Ash Bears and it's...meh. Sad."-Teezy
IC-Naut:Meanwhile, with everybody else waking up, Naut and Commodum had fallen asleep during their discussion, Naut still floating in the air and snoring.
IC: Tehlin"Well, he certainly seems to like you," Tehlin commented, smiling. He glanced over at Grecko, who seemed to be very happy at the moment.
IC: Hound & Co, CatacombsRaxa would be relieved to see that only a small, light grey, rat-like Rahi shivered in the darkness, gnawing at the corpsoe of an even smaller creature. However, he wouldn't be relieved to see a massive, black and grey hand shoot out and grab the creature, pulling it into the darkness where it silenced the creature's frightened squeals by smashing the Rahi to pieces on the floor. Hound, hearing the sound, gripped his spear with both hands, Kirian strung an elemental arrow, and Tirus creatured another Iron spike.
IC: Chronn"I figured that you two would be. Though, you will still be under the rules of my employees. No drinking, language kept to a minimum, personal life does not count as an excuse for your actions or lack thereof. I also will not accept any attack upon my person, but against each other I have no care. If you have any complaints, deal with it."
IC: GravityI didn't take out my sword, instead, glowing purple energy surrounded my hands as I channeled my elemental power through them.
IC-Raxa:Raxa had another poison bolt loaded. No matter how large the Toa, how strong, they couldn't withstand this poison like a large Rahi. This would kill any Toa in seconds. He also had one of his knives sheathed, just in case, and motioned for Hound and group to stop moving, as he slowly edged back towards them, ready to fire at anything jumping out at him.
IC: Hound & Co, CatacombsA massive creature, so much larger than the Blade Burrower that they wouldn't even be comparable, growled softly as the bolt hit it's armor, and was promptly stopped by the protosteel-like skin. It barely even pierced it, and no poison spread through the creature's veins. It, however, irritated the creature, causing it to move, revealing a pile of lightstone next to it, which illuminated the terrifying thing. This was no Toa.The gigantic hand, at least the size of a matoran, reached out, it's four fingers grasping the ground as it pulled the rest of the unfathomably huge form foward. One could compare it to a Tahtorak, Vahki Hunter, and Spiny Stone Ape molded together, but it simply didn't do the abomination justice. The creature's bulk towered over the group, contained in an enlarged tunnel, ballopning to seven times larger than the one that led to it. The creature's back scrapped the top. Staring down at Raxa and the other's, it's face contorted. One could say that it's mouth opened, but the way it split into four sections, each one possessing four mandibles, showing a black, cavernous mouth, ringed with teeth, seemed beyond words. Raxa could have laid down in there, and there would have been room for his crossbow and his knives too. A roar, sounding like essence and soul being ripped from a physical being, came out of the mouth, and a second pair of jaws, circular and covered in mutiple rings of teeth, appeared. Tirus swore slowly, in awe. "That's... Not normal."
IC: Dujour (Bar, Onu-Koro)"I'm glad," she said, petting him happily. "He's the cutest little thing...present company notwithstanding," she added.-Teezy
IC: Gravity"Eh, no, I wouldn't think so," I said sarcastically. So what, It was big, scary, four-jawed thing; it didn't quite matter how big it was.As a matter of fact, the bigger, the better. Seriously. It already would have to be heavy... Extremely heavy. Adding more to that weight could possibly crush it.Which is just what I was gonna do.IC: Tehlin"I'll say," Tehlin said, refering to a certain Toa nearby.
IC: Dujour (Bar, Onu-Koro)"So...you seeing anybody?" Dujour asked, careful to keep her voice casual. "I mean, just because I thought I saw you with--nevermind."-Teezy
IC(Tajeh): "Sorta looks like my old boss." Tajeh said weakly as he raised his shield. Mata Nui, help us...
OOC: Uh, I never fired, I just said it was loaded. Ah well.IC-Raxa:Raxa smiled, firing a bolt he had quickly loaded straight into the beast's mouth, where it connected with the back of its throat as he rolled back towards Hound's group."He looks nice, can we keep him?" Raxa asked as the poison began to do its work. "Oh, I recommend we stay away from it once it starts hitting its death throes."
IC(Tajeh): "Only if we keep it at your house." Tajeh cracked.
IC: Tehlin"You know, I may live with Grecko, but there's nothing going on between us," he said, grinning.
IC: Dujour (Bar, Onu-Koro)Dujour started to laugh and finally sighed, petting Grecko."Good," she said with a mischievous wink. "I was worried he might be taken."-Teezy
IC: Chromia"After you." Chromia held the door open for Caige.
IC: Tehlin"I feel hurt," he said, comicly clutching his heart, "I knew he would betray me someday. Curse you Ash Bear!"
IC: Dujour (Bar, Onu-Koro)Dujour pouted and began to scratch behind Grecko's ears."Awww, he didn't mean that, Grecko," she said. "Don't worry, now I won't let him buy me dinner when we get back to Ga-Koro."She stuck her tongue out at Tehlin and rubbed the Ash Bear's side.-Teezy
IC: Tehlin:c
IC: Dujour (Bar, Onu-Koro)"You look cute when you're pouting," she joked before standing up and yawning. "I have to get some sleep. I'll see you in the morning, Tehlin...we can leave then."She walked towards her room, but stopped next to Tehlin and whispered "Just kidding about the dinner thing" before making her way to her room.-Teezy
IC: TehlinThe Toa of Plantlife managed to keep a straight face the entire time... All the way up until Dujour closed her door. "Boyeah!" he said, fist-pumping."Grecko, lets go," he said, leading the Ash Bear to his room. Only to realise Grecko had fallen asleep infront of the Toa of Magnetism's door. "Aw Karz. Man, you suck."The next few minutes was spent Tehlin trying to get Grecko to move, and Grecko not wanting to move. Eventually, the Ve-Toa gave up, and went into his room to sleep.
IC: Hound & Co, CatacombsThe beast growled as the bolt was stuck in it's throat. While a Toa, or the Blade Burrow would have dropped dead in a few minutes, the sheer size of the creature prevented the poison from being as lethal as Raxa and everyone else would have liked. It would be in intense pain for a few hours, but that would just drive it into a fury. With a tremendous roar, the creature slammed his hand against the ground, causing the ground to tremble. As it did so, it's inner jaw shot forward, aimed directly at Gravity, who's powers were beginning to force the creature against the ground, it's massive strength and endurance the only thing keeping it up.
IC: GravityI backflipped away from the creature's inner jaw as it came out at me, and I landed a bit further back to focus on my elemental power. Simply weighing it down didn't seem to be doing the trick, so I decided to focus on something else.I couldn't just increase or decrease someone's gravity, I could also change the direction of it. I focused, and the Rahi would suddenly find its head wanting to "fall" behind it and its body "falling" in the opposite direction.
IC-Raxa:"Oh, dear," Raxa said to himself. "What was that poison I saw once..." he thought for a moment, concentrating on a bolt, trying to synthesize a highly toxic poison-and sedative-that he had used once on a mission. It drained him of a bit of energy, he stumbled slightly, but he managed to keep his footing and control himself."Alright," he said, "Let's hope this does the trick a bit faster." He loaded another bolt, firing at the beast again, this time hitting it in the flesh of one of its mandibles, coming much, much too close to missing for Raxa's tastes. He nearly dropped his crossbow after firing, however, stumbling against Tirus.
IC(Tajeh):Tajeh said something rather unpleasant about Raxa and his crossbow as he slid forward and swung at one of the beast's legs.
IC: Hound & Co, CatacombsThe creature was bewildered by the fact it seemed to lack normal gravity. It was even more bewildered when the bolt struck it's mouth, sending a much more deadly poison into it's veins. It, however, wasn't at all bewildered by the matoran striking it's leg, for it didn't even notice the impact. It did, however, notice the noise. Mistaking Tajeh for prey, the creature retraced it's secondary jaw, and then looked down, the cavernous abyss of black hesitating above Tajeh. Suddenly, the creature staggered, roared in a disorted tone, and then fell over, twitching. The combination of being pulled apart, injected with poison, and finally, being hit in the underside of its throat with a shard of metal that Tirus threw when Raxa bumped into him, downed it. It, however, was not dead, obvious by it's struggles to stand.Kirian, silent as normal, walked over to the beast, and mercifully ended it's life with an elemental arrow. Hound, who hadn't done anything, watched the creature, his face impassive. "That creature, beyond a doubt, served as an alarm for Onyx. Raveian would have undoubtedly heard those roars. I pray Hajia and Gahuari are still alive."OOC: Well, you guys were awesome in the first battle of the Catacombs.
OOC: Pssh, that was a pushover. xDIC(Tajeh): Tajeh stood up and viewed the beast with a mixture of fear and respect. He turned his gaze to his companions. "That was fun." he joked sheepishly.
IC-Raxa:"I pray the same," Raxa said. He shook himself, activating his Pakari, a minor burst of strength helping to stabilize his body. He shook his head again, getting off of Tirus, who he'd been leaning on."Come on, no sense in waiting for them to find us here," he muttered, reloading his crossbow. As he stopped by the creature, however, he proceeded to re-absorb the crystal from the bolts he had used, restoring a bit of his energy.
IC: Hound & Co, CatacombsHound, Kirian, and Tirus passed the creature, the two Toa doing as Raxa had done, absorbing the elemental attacks they performed.Around 1/2 hour later, a figure could be seen, his black and blue armor barely visible beneath his black robe. Raveian, eyes glowing in the darkness, watched them."Onyx bids you welcome," He said, gesturing to the tunnel around them. "Hajia and the brat are waiting. My lord hopes that you are able to survive the coming challenges, and give him much entertainment."
IC-Raxa:"Tell Onyx," Raxa growled, "That he'll get no such pleasure from us!" He was about to kill Raveian, but Tirus restrained him."We aren't small gladiators to bumble about in an arena for him, and nor are we slaves-unlike you, of course," he added. "How is it, living life so far down here? Nobody you can truly call a friend, having to put up with a master who would kill you if ever he felt like it...unable to do anything against him...it must be terrible."OOC: Han quote at top!
OOC: Noticed that. IC: Raveian & Hound & Co, CatacombsRaveian smiled an utterly alien grin, revealing sharp, filed-to-a-point teeth. "With one word, I can tell Onyx to cut off one of your chances, and by extension, one of the wench's and brat's limbs. Would you like a leg or an arm? Or, perhaps, one of each?"
IC: GarmeAs soon as Rockbrain bolted, she was dashing herself, racing towards the Koro, and hopefully safety.IC: TuataraMeanwhile, the reptilian attacker seemed utterly stunned by their fleeing, thinking that they would have tried to get around him to continue their path. it didn't matter though, he decided, chasing after the much smaller beings like a predator on the hunt.
IC: Ka'deTearing around the corner, I saw the lights of Onu-Koro ahead and kept running. Still, could we outrun the thing that seemed intent on killing us?
IC(Tajeh): "Yo, tall, dark and ugly......." Tajeh lost his voice for a second. What are you doing, Tajeh? You'll probably die....but to save a life or two....it'll be worth it. Tajeh regained his voice. And took a few shaky steps forward, "Take me and release your prisoners..."
IC: GarmeNow it was her turn to gain on Ka'de, almost reaching the same point he was at. There had to be some way to give scales the slip, and hopefully not end up being eaten, or being beaten to death by his weapon, or... She could see the reptile was quickly gaining.
IC: Ka'deI have to admit, I was terrified. Who wouldn't be?"Almost... there..." I gasped. Glancing back, I could see that Lizard, as I had nicknamed him, was gaining on us. Grabbing one of the disks I carried with me, I flung it in his general direction. It was hard to see in the low light.
