IC: Sythrih"Alright," she said, standing up, "Lets go."With that, she led the way out of their hut and towards the Onu-Koro square.
IC: Agate - Onu-koro Square -Agate was happy with Sythrih leading the way. For one thing Sythrih had a Ruru and could see better, and two...Agate would just get lost anyway. "Can we get donuts?"
IC - Kyju - Act I: The Catalyst"Sorry, but I won't be able to let you talk to Gyn right now. He's busy, so unless he knows you or something-""Oh, it's alright. He's an old friend of mine." the warmth in his face was practically radiant. The secretary couldn't help but smile back."Oh! I didn't realize. He's right down that way, last door in the middle." she pointed, turning her chair slightly."Thank you very much! I haven't seen him in awhile, and I just wanted to catch up, talk about old times." he made his way down the hall, phase one of his plan halfway over.------"I just want a bit of security for my fundraiser. You know, just a few guys to make sure nothing goes amiss.""Hmm... That's all?"Kyju dodged the commander's eyes."Well, actually... I have a plan. It involves taking out a gang I've been privileged with a lead on. I believe I could take them out, as well as learn about more of the lower life."[/color]The commander looked thoughtfully at the Akrainid he was talking to. He put one hand on his chin in the classic pose of a thinker."I'll consider it," He said, voice just a little shaky. "I can't agree or disagree at present, Mr. Kyju. But rest assured you will hear when I do so at last.""Thank you, commander. That's all I ask."Without another word, he walked out the door.[/color]------A fundraiser. That was what he had promised he'd hold. And indeed, that was what he planned to have. But the fundraiser had many purposes. Wouldn't it be a pity if the men sent as security were hurt in an accident? How about winning the lottery? Or winning a house off in Ga-Koro?Wouldn't it be an even bigger pity if they were replaced by near look-alike mercenaries paid by a certain Kyju Xo'Rexin? That's not all, either. Isn't it just interesting how that Kyju guy has been helping the Koro? First he donated a large sum to the Ussalry, now he's holding a government fundraiser! It's so nice that someone would step in while Whenua's recovering. He seems like just what we need right now.Kyju would have the citizens wrapped around his thumb in no time.[/color]
IC: [uyism]Uyism paused for a moment, half-way through eating a rock, wondering why she had a suspicion of everything going wrong, but soon dismissed the thought and continued to eat.
IC: Sythrih"Yes... As long as you promise that's not the only thing you'll eat," Sythrih said, being an older sister completely.
IC: Agate - Onu-koro Square -Agate hesitated before answering. ".....Yes." She said with an innocent little sister face.
IC: SythrihSythrih gave her sister a look, before handing her some widgets. "Here, she said, "Take these and buy some donuts, meet back at here in ten."Sythrih wasn't worried that Agate would get lost, seeing as donuts were being sold about five feet from them.
IC: Agate - Onu-koro Square -"Okay!" Agate happily went over to the donut stand, waiting in line.
IC: SythrihThe Onu-Toa sighed, and went around to buy other things. Soon enough, her arms were full of bags of food. And she had a lot less widgets.
IC: Agate - Onu-koro Square -Agate now had several dozen boxes of donuts in her arms. She looked around for Sythrih.
IC: SythrihSpotting the walking donut cart, Sythrih walked over to her sister and asked, "Ready?"
IC: Agate - Onu-koro Square -"Yep!" Agate said through the boxes, sounding muffled because Sythrih couldn't see her face through the sea of boxes.
IC:Sythrih"Alrighty Ms. Donut Cart, lets go," the Onu-Toa said, smiling slightly as she led Agate back to the house.
IC: Agate - Home, Onu-Wahi -The two arrived back at the house, though Agate had some trouble fitting all the donut boxes inside, so she had to put them down and carry a couple at a time inside. I got a dozen of every kind of donut they had!"
IC: Sythrih"Yeah, I noticed that."
IC: Agate - Home, Onu-Wahi -Put the boxes on the table, and then opened one and took out a lemon-filled donut and began to eat it. "So...what did you buy?"
IC: NanashiNanashi looked around, Deyr hadn't talked for a while, and Nan was worried. "...Deyr?" Nanashi checked the stalls nearby "..Deyr!?" Nanashi assumed the worse, and sterted running around the village "DEYR!!!"
IC: Chronn"Did you have any... problems while acquiring it?" I asked, swiping my package away from the two. Soon, the sweet taste of Trail Mix would once again be mine.
IC: Incommodo"It was a bit heavy, and we had to sign for it, but otherwise, nope."
IC: NanashiNanashi had searched everywhere he could think of, but he couldent find Deyr.Nanashi thought for a sec and thwnran up to a nearby matoran. "Are tjere any detective agencies around here?". The matoran directed him to a bombed oit biulding. "Is this "Chronn person around here?".
IC: XylakXylak immediately stood in Nanashi's way, stopping him from entering the building. "Why do you want to know?"
IC; Nanashi"My friend is lost and I'm worried about him, so I want to ask for help."
IC: Xylak"Well, then here isn't the right place to ask, and anyone who suggested that you come here is an imbecile. Dark C Investigations deals with murders only. Come back when your friend is dead and we'll talk." Xylak smirked, nonchalant as ever.
IC: NanashiNanash nodded and left. Stupid matoran, sending him here.IC: GorugonGorugon looked out across the city. Alright, half-mile trip across the block, plus 1/4 to tthe great mine, and then back. Sounds fun. Gorugon set off, leaping from room to roof, untill she reached the mine, then she doubled back. Then she sawe something. Or some ome. Kitane is here? How? Gorugon lept down infront of Nanashi."Kitane?""Who the Kraz our you?""Kitane, its me, Your sister.""I have a sister?""Yes, me and your brother are based here for now, remember. You were on some island down south last I heard.""I don't remember that?""Well mabey your brother can fix that."Gorugon grabbed Nan's hand and dashed off, dragging him behind.
IC: [Arkrak]"We'll just be outside while you deal with your package alright?" asked Arkrak, quickly beginning to pull Inc out of the room.
IC: Incommodo"What is it?" Incommodo asked, as soon as they were outside.
IC: [Arkrak]"There's something I've learnt. The stuff in that crate ... is probably trail mix. Therefore Chronn won't get as annoyed at us if we're there while he's eating."
IC: Incommodo"That goes directly against taking me out of the room, unless you meant 'here' rather than 'there', in which case you're likely overtired."
IC: [Arkrak]"Inc, I haven't had any sleep for a while. Gimme a break. Now, let's just let him eat in silence."Arkrak and Inc were outside of Chronn's room.
IC: XylakXylak had, quite conveniently, been standing nearby Incommodo and Arkrak. "You don't really think all that much, do you? Either of you. You run around, with no plan. How I envy that."
IC: [Arkrak]"When did you get here?"
IC: Xylak"I've been here the whole time. The hardest thing to find is something that's hidden in plain sight." Xylak smirked.
IC: [Arkrak]"I see."
IC: XylakXylak walked right up to Arkrak, the crystal on his staff glowing chartreuse (OOC: because I'm fancy with my colours). "How do you manage it? How do you go about life, oblivious to all that happens around you?"
IC: [Arkrak]"I'd say magic, but I doubt you'd want that as an answer," he replied dryly. "It's because I don't really have any motivations."
IC: XylakXylak chuckled. "Everyone has a motivation, Arkrak. You just need to find yours."
IC: [Arkrak]"Except I'm not motivated to find my motivation."
IC: ChronnMy two sacrificial pawns were currently out of the building, and I was eating trail mix. Could it really get any more enjoyable? Yes, I suppose it could.... with Reichenbach tied up on the other end of the room with a few blades in his spine. That would certainly add to the enjoyment. But I supposed I should see what that person speaking to the two fools wanted. It wasn't that hard to notice, considering the lack of a door... and most of a wall. With a sigh, I rose to my feet and stepped out of the building.
IC: Xylak"Ah, Thedar, what a pleasant surprise. Who died? After all, I know very few things other than death that could pull you away from Trail Mix."
IC: [Arkrak]"Inc and I will just be somewhere else while you two talk ..."
