IC-Kal:Kal smiled at what Madrihk said. "I could punch a hole in it with my own fist," he said, flexing his arms. He was planning to have fun. Mussiki, however, just stood beside him, his face expressionless.Dendron was almost jumping in joy, thinking the battle soon to start.
IC: AckuneThe Toa of Fire nodded, an odd look in his unseeing eyes. It had been a while since he last fought in a battle of this scale.IC: AelynnThe Toa of Iron heard Kethrye call for the second group, the one she was in. Aelynn glanced at Auron, and gave the Toa of Fire a quick hug saying, "Be careful," before running off to find the rest of the team members.IC: MehlnaiThe Toa of Water activated her Kakama, and zoomed over to Ackune and Kethrye. "I'm ready."
IC (Dekuna): Dekuna hadn't yet heard of any place called Pala-koro, but he thought it was a safe enough guess that it was a village at Lake Pala. "Thanks Uar, good job" he said. "So it looks like we're heading east." he told Tangrua as the rahi cart trundled along beside him. "We need to meet up with the others who will be attacking the hive." Walking away from Le-koro now, he turned east and began walking in that direction.IC (Matan and Natan): Sulov and Gavarm were greeted by a tall Skakdi in green armour. He looked down at the two Matoran, and noted that one was missing a hand. "Good morning" he said. "How can I help you?"
IC: AuronAuron blushed beneath his mask as Aelynn gave him a hug before hurrying to her group."Come back in one piece, be careful!" The Toa of Fire called after her. He hoped she would be alright, but he had bigger matters to worry about at the moment, "Who Alfon?"
IC(Meja): Meja made her way to the northern most tip of Le-Koro. She took a glance back at the village, giving a small nod and turned back to the railing. She climbed the rails, jumped, and drew a massive wind behind her, pushing her towards the ice covered part of Mata Nui. OOC: Meja to Ko-Wahi, you guys have fun with the Rama.
I.C. Vompran gathered along with Kethrye and the rest of the ground squad. "I guess we'll share command of this troop, eh Kethrye?"I.C. Kranuka swung his blade like a mad-matoran trying to eliminate whatever rama he could. He didn't have much luck though. It made it even harder being stuck magnetically on the back of Botan. "If you could absorb the magnetic charge so we aren't stuck any more, that would would be great!" He said in a stale tone to Dymiun.
IC: AelynnShe flashed a smile to him before disappearing in the crowd. Aelynn found most of the group already gathered, and stood nerviously off to the side. The Toa of Iron didn't really know anyone else besides Kethrye in the group... And even then, she didn't really know him.She hadn't been in a battle of this scale before, or maybe she had, and she just didn't remember. There was a lot of things she didn't remember about her past.
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)"You're carkin' skippy it is," I agreed, turning to the two dozen Sanctum Guard forces and then to the half-dozen Ta-Koro Guardsmen. "We need to split the troops. I want fifteen of you to go with Mevi's forces in Ta-Koro. She and Darrick Bane will be the commander of that half. Trakuda and I will lead the other faction."-Teezy
IC: Iraanus smiled wryly. "I was about to ask you the same question," he replied. "Might be best if we had a few more on board, though, before we start campaigning or whatever. Make 'em realize this is more than just some wild dream. D'you know of anyone specifically who'd be interested?"
IC:One sword would do. One sword, the spear, two disks and those explosives the Sanctum guard brought. Make that a knife as well, why not. And some jelly babies. And a banana. He hadn't realised how difficult it was to choose rations for the journey. In fact, he may have been the only one who ate that much. Mentally telling himself that he needed the energy, he corrected a few wonky bits of Rahkshi armour, stowed away his weapons and food, stepped back outside, whistling something. He arrived just in time to hear Reordin finish sorting everyone out, and took the opportunity to introduce himself to his fellow Ko-Matoran."Hello! I'm Trakuda, you might remember me from a while ago. Bit different. Bit weird." he told them with an irresistibly amiable smile.
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)"Aren't we all?" I asked with a smirk, shaking Trakuda's hand. "Reordin Saporta. It's a pleasure."I motioned for the dozen troops to gather around us"Boys, this is Trakuda. He's going to be co-commander of this op with me, and I want you to treat him as you would me. Understood?"At nods, I clapped his hands together and motioned for Darrick Bane to come over towards the group."Trakuda, this is Darrick Bane, my second-in-command. Bane, Trakuda."-Teezy
IC Dymiun, Botan, Fehron"I'm trying!" Dymiun yelled. Suddenly, the huge magnetic clump of beings fell apart as Dymiun figured out how to release the magnetism. Kranuka and Dymiun hit the ground hard, but Fehron and Botan immediately flew up and leaped into action. Botan caused trees to form a shield of branches to protect them, while Fehron fired spikes through the spaces between the branches. "I can't beleive they followed me all the way over here!" yelled Fehron. "Hold on," yelled Botan. Landing on a tree branch, Botan switched the animal he had the powers of from a Gukko bird to a Silver Chute Spider. Botan then began to fire super strong silk from his hands, trapping the Nui-rama in an unbreakable net.I.C.
IC:"Alright." Trakuda nodded, a sort of half-smile plastered on his face.
IC:"I would assume so," Kethrye said, answering Vompran's question. "Considering we're two of the deputy leaders."All right, everyone; This is our strategy for today," he continued, a partially nervous grin crossing his face. "Don't. Die."
IC: Both matorans' gazes-one polite and reserved, the other lazy-flitted over the skakdi. It was obvious that nothing about him surprised them."My name is Sulof Koskium, and ze ozer matoran is my azistant Gafarrm. I vould like tu obtain a proszetic for zis," Sulov said with an indicative raise of his stump. "But, zerr arr seferal spezificazhuns I vould like tu detail furzer."
IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)I began to feel a quick sensation of vertigo and I clapped Trakuda on the shoulder."Hey, gimme a sec, will ya?" I asked, before moving into one of the empty huts. I walked over to the lone mirror and looked into it haggardly: my eyes had shifted from their normal deep sapphire to a brilliant azure. Cark."Sorry, Helix," I said sympathetically. "I don't have time for this."I took out a small package of herbs I had picked on my way back from Ko-Koro and crushed them, mixing them into a vial of water and downing it in a gulp. I sat back on the bed and didn't move for several minutes. When I stood again, I was...relaxed. At peace."Showtime," I said, cracking my knuckles and moving back to the group."How's about a challenge, gents?" I asked with a grin.-Teezy
IC: Ackune"Sounds like a plan. Funny, that was usually the plan when I served in some sort of military," The Toa of Fire said, a small smile on his face. "OK, so, do we have anyother plan besides "Don't die"?""Although, I'm perfectly fine with just "Using my elemental powers to do some damage"."
IC: Destian, ILS"Didn't plan on it." Destian said with a grin, in response to Kethrye's words.
IC: Aelynn A sharp pain suddenly shot through the Toa of Iron's head, and she closed her eyes and placed a hand on her temple. She thought she was having another vision... Aelynn opened her eyes again, but this was different then before... She wasn't surrounded by Skakdi, and wasn't chained up. She felt a mask on her face, a silver Miru...? How did that get there? The Toa of Iron knew she was in the same place as before, she recognised the beach, even though she was floating above it. Floating? How was she... Oh, right, the Miru. "I'll go check it out!" she heard herself say to a Toa standing on the beach. She was pretty sure it was the same Toa from her other vision; Huna, red and blue armor, hands-Her thoughts were interupted when she suddenly felt herself turn around to the sea, and start to float over to a dark object. Just like the other one, she didn't have any control over her body and was forced to watch the event unfold. As she got closer to the object, she saw that it was a ship. But traders didn't come to this island. How did she know that? She didn't even know where this island was!Aelynn eventually got close enough to see beings on the deck of the ship, and she waved at them. Some of them waved back, and she was about to drop down onto the ship when a strange blue sphere suddenly shot out towards her. Her eyes wide with suprize, she dodged the projectile, and despertly made her way back to shore. More spheres were fired, and one of them managed to hit her just before she landed. An electrical shock went up her body, and she fell to the ground unconscious, right next to the blue and red Toa. Aelynn opened her eyes, and shook her head. She looked around, strange everything was exactly how it was when she had closed them before. Down to the second.Deciding not to think about the vision right now, she quietly waited to see what Kethrye and the rest had to say.
IC-Dendron:Dendron stepped over by Kethrye, smiling greatly. "Second-Squad," he said, "I'm here!" He turned to the others. "Alright, so we know what we're supposed to do. Who wants to work out the fine details of the plan?"IC-Kal and Mussiki:Kal and Mussiki stepped up to Madrihk, the Toa of Sonics still with the same emotionless expression on his face. "Well," Kal said, glancing at his uncle, "I do believe we're ready to head off, whenever you are."
IC: Akinii After thinking about what Mahdrik had said, Akinii realized he'd better go talk to the Toa of Ice if he wanted to be a part of... whatever this was.Akinii walked towards Mahdrik, feeling uncertain and a bit apprehensive. He managed to say, "Um, excuse me, I'd like to join this endeavor: how can I help?"
IC: [Ril]"Hey, Big Boss Guy," said Ril cheerfully, getting into line. "What's my job?"
I.C. Vompran"I think we should mostly protect the demolition squad as they demolish, and take out as many Rama as possible." he replied in response to the strategy questions. I.C. Kranuka"OUFF!" he grunted as he picked himself up off the floor. A rama made a dive at him and knocked him over. "This is not my lucky day... Oh well, it's more fun than sitting around a hut doing paperwork all day." With that, he began jabbing and hacking at low flying Rama.
IC: JiMing"Alright, part of the second ground squad. Can't wait to get killed by some Rama." he said.JiMing gripped his sword and shield and hoped he would survive.
IC Botan"Oops. Did I miss some?" Botan shot more webbing to ensnare the rest of the rama.I.C. IC, Verdi: Verdi turned to look at Lashev. "Hey, we'll be perfectly fine!" he protested.
IC: AuronAuron felt the familiar presence of no longer being in the present, looking back on his chain of memories, he groaned. He did not want to see the torture of the past, he wanted to focus on the present. How many more times must he relive his failures before the great beings decided he could live with the past?He was on a beach, ironically, it was the same beach where he remembered being defeated and getting forced off the island. Another Toa was floating in the air, towards a trader ship. He dimly thought how strange it was that a merchant ship would wander near here, traders thought that the island didn't have anything worth trading with them. When the other Toa started flying back, his couldn't believe he saw blue spheres flying from the ship, aimed at the other Toa. When the other Toa got close enough, he realized the other Toa was female. She had almost made it back to him when he saw a blue sphere hit her in the back."NO!" He shouted out, slowly feeling the memory starting to fade away. Auron knew this was when the invaders first landed, first attacked, "43199! Are you alright?"Auron blinked, he said a name, but he didn't hear it, it was like it was erased from his mind. As he blinked, he was back in the crowd, looking for the one called Alfon...OOC: Auron's learning leetspeak. XD
IC: Alfon / Volin / OnyxAlfon went over to where the air force would be gathering, sitting down as he played with his wires for a bit and whistled a merry tune. Despite that they were heading into a dangerous ordeal, he seemed so care-free at the moment.Meanwhile Volin hovered near Madrihk since they were both to go inside of the hive, waiting impatiently for things to get going. Excited as he was, a bit of fear welled up inside of him: toppling a hive from the inside would probably be the craziest thing he'd do in his entire life. A nervous twitch escaped him here and there accompanied by constant shifting. As for Onyx, the heavily armored Fe-Toa trotted over to where Reordin and Trakuda stood seeing as how he was to be protecting this unit."Gentlemen." he started, polite as ever. "I'm Onyx however you already know this, Trakudee was it? Pleasure to be working alongside you, Reordin."
IC: AuronAuron saw the Toa sit down, next to a large number of Le-Matoran and their birds. He walked over to the Toa and asked, "Alfon?"
IC: AlfonAlfon heard his name but did not stir, continuing to play with his wires and make electricity crackle off of them. However, his whistling ceased to fill the air only to be replaced with a look of boredom."Yeah? Don't mind my being rude but I haven't had much time to get acquainted with the newbies so I'm going to ask: what's your name, fella?"
IC: Auron"Auron," He replied, "I have not been here much, have been about."
IC: AlfonAlfon couldn't help but notice the terrible grammar but picked up that this guy seemed pretty innocent, in the least. Stopping the wire-fiddling and putting the stuff away, the young man put on his typical charismatic and amiable smile and extended his hand to Auron."Pleasure to meet you, buddy boy and glad you signed up. What's up?"
IC: AuronThe Toa of Fire was shocked by Alfon's sudden change in additude, but he took and shook the Toa of Electricity's hand, "Up? Thing up is sky, it for wind Matoran and Rama. Not much up in sky other than those."
IC: AlfonAlfon almost let a laugh escape him before raising an eyebrow as his smile seemed to widen. It seemed even some of the most basic young figures of speech hadn't reached this guy yet. Wonder what's up with him."Indeed it is, my friend, you are quite right. You know what else is up? Life."
IC:Rhow chuckled. "How would I know? Never been to the villages, remember?" she said. "Guess all we can do is to put up notes or find some often-frequented place. Know any of those? I mean, we aren't exactly hard to spot, spines and grins and all."--------------"Oh, don't worry about us. I'll protect him."As Sisk, Leah and the others were waiting for lans to finish his meeting, another Le-Matoran came into the room, brushing past the leaf-curtain. He quickly scanned them, then his expression lightened up more. "Lieutenant!" he said.Leah turned around. "Kara? What are you doing here?"The other Le-Matoran quickly stepped closer to her and handed her a thin piece of woods, with a list written on it in black in. "The runners just brought word from pala-Koro, they're gonna launch the assault soon. This is the list of sorties." "Thanks Kara." she replied. sisk stepped to them too. "Ah, long-time no-see." the other Matoran greeted Sisk. They quickly shook hands. "You gonna join the flight too?" the other Matoran asked him. Sisk shook his head. "Usally yes, but I've been reassinged. So it's still air-certain" "Reassigned?" the other Le-Matoran asked. "I hadn't heard.""Just got back today-now. It's a little fight-initiative to stalk-hunt Rahkshi." It took Kara a moment to process that last part. "Yikes. Well, good luck." he finally said. "I need to get back to my duties now.""To you as well, air-friend." Sisk called after him. He looked at Leah."I wish we could fly-fight with them." She chuckled softly in response. "I dunno, Sisk. I'd hate to see a bunch of nice boys like you carried of by buzz-fliers." Standing side by side, still facing the doorway, Sisk looked at her, meeting her eyes. He smiled as well. "Well, if you say-put it like that...I'll happy-gladly stay."
IC: AuronAuron tilted his head to the side, the other Toa was joking with him, but the exact humor of his joke escaped him."No funny," The Toa said in reply, "No remember to speak good."He guessed the little sound the other Toa had made was him trying to control himself from laughing, but he still guessed anyway.
IC, Verdi: Verdi turned around and stared off into the distance, a bit jealous of the Leah and Sisk's friendship. He remembered about a special spot his father had taken him to when he was little, to watch the stars. He would have to show it to Leah sometime... but that was for later. He sat down on the bench again, and began humming a little tune while he waited for Lans to finish up his meeting.
IC: Alfon"Sorry, didn't mean to be insulting Auron. Anything you wanted to talk about?"OOC: Sorry about the short posts and not posting very fast. Kinda busy.
OOC: Yeah, I have to get off in a bit anyway =/IC: AuronThe Toa of Fire thought for a second before he spoke, "We have plan beside go and fight rama hive? Auron say plan is good, no want to be trapped for long time again."
IC: AlfonThat last bit pricked Alfon's curiosity, something about being trapped for a long time...again. Could that be an explanation to his poor grammar, having been locked up for so long he forgot?"Yeah, I'm hoping the plan will work out in our favor and if it does, it's smooth sailing. But what am I saying, plans never work, eh?" he said right before chuckling."Nah, no worries, we'll be fine, just a few minor injuries in the end."
