IC: "If I may..."Sulov picked up the prosthetic. Retreating to sit down as he had previously, the matoran strapped it on.Then he examined it.Straps and buckles ran across his muscled forearm. Their dark bands cut across his armor in such a way that the gray base was held snug against his stump...Any phantom pains he felt now almost made sense. And then there was the blade. Pitted, scarred, yet sharp enough to slice a falling leaf in twain; it was the perfect replacement tool for combat and engineering. Its sheath fit tightly as well.Sulov stood up.He was assured of it now. As long as his left hand was this prosthetic, he would never forget Kol.How could he, when all left of his best friend was now a part of him?Every time he thrust that blade into a rahi-every time he gouged dirt from the ground-he would remember. And that was just as important as the shovel's functionality.Sulov silently gesticulated to Gavarm with his right hand. The deputy nodded and walked over."May Mata Nui guide and prrotect ju," Sulov called, and then the two of them walked from the hut.
IC: [uyism]Having run out of things to do, Uyism was taking a nap.
IC: Dervian approached Madrihk. "Well, I'm Dervian. Toa of Air, you may have heard of me, I sincerely hope not. My specialty is condensing air into nearly solid form..." He formed an arc-shaped wind blade and threw it at a tree, slicing a branch off. "And my weakness is broad attacks and vacuums. What are such skills useful for?"
IC: KraynKrayn's ears perked up. "Where?" The Toa broadcast his voice to Skyra, but made sure no one else could hear. "I'll gather the group. I think we lost the Dog, though. I heard someone leave."
IC: Skyra - Crimson Nova Outpost, Le-koro -As I hid behind the door I received Krayn's response. "It's pretty far inside the place, let's see...from where you saw me enter this place, I think I made two right turns, then a left, then another right, I went straight down a hallway, passing three cross ways, and then I made another left...and that led me right about here." Yeah, that sounded about right, I was glad I remembered to keep track of how I'd reached this point in the Outpost. "The Dog is gone? Good riddance." Didn't like that chump anyway, and he'd upset my girlfriend enough to make her want to kill him, if he was gone, fantastic.
IC: Krayn and Laserbeak"Tillian, Laserbeak." Krayn said as he walked into the room. "Skyra found who we're looking for. Come on." Laserbeak nodded, and began to follow Krayn further into the safehouse.
IC: Iraanus shrugged. "Well, I suppose this village is as good a place to start as any. Often-frequented places? No idea; I've never been here before either." He looked around. "Shouldn't be too hard to find somewhere, though. More important to figure out what to write on these notes..." His voice trailed off, already mentally composing a message to the island's Skakdi.
OOC: Rama are pretty huge, and it would take a LOT of web to trap them all. I didn't think Botan got all of them.I.C. Kranuka"Yep. And there are about seven more flying in. I hope that's the last of them." I.C. Vompran was beggining to get restless waiting for the attack. He took the time to prepare himself mentally for whatever may happen.
IC Botan, Fehron, Dymiun"Oops, I'm out of webs," Botan observed. "Plan B, Plan B!" yelled Dymiun. "We're already on Plan E," replied Fehron. "Well, here goes nothing..." Fehron formed a wire netting around the rama, with two wires leading to a piece of metal near Dymiun. "Dymiun! Form a magnetic field around that!" As Dymiun complied, Fehron spun the small metal part, forming an electric current that ran through the wire to the net, electrifying it and zapping into submission the rama that were trying to break free.
IC-Dragou:"Oi," Dragou said quietly to Krayn, "Don't forget me, after I managed to drag myself into this." He quickly followed along behind the Toa of Sonics.IC-Jaron:"Well, well, well," Jaron said to Emotia, smiling, "Looks like they're here, finally. Well, good luck getting out in one piece." He kept his smile."Don't worry, they'll do fine."
OOC: Mild bunnying here.IC: Komisk, Brovuv, Uyism, and Tarnok all were shortly jolted from their activities. One word, tossed out as easily as a towel and short as one's life too, cut through the chatter and bustle of Le-Koro to reach their ears:"Yo."The quartet turned to find a casual-as-ever Gavarm and prosthetic-wearing Sulov standing there. The commander nodded."Tu ze stables," He said, then headed off in that very place's direction.
IC: Emotia - Crimson Nova Outpost, Le-koro -Emotia glared at the ghost. You know...if my hands were free, I'd slap you, I don't care that you're a ghost! She thought at him.
IC: Tillian (Crimson Nova Outpost, Le-Koro)Tillian flew, quite literally, through the safehouse, following Skyra's route straight to Emotia. Pollux and his goons had left the room, probably to meet with their superiors. Emotia was alone."My God..." he muttered, trying not to break into tears as he cut her bindings. "They told me you were dead."-Teezy
IC: Emotia - Crimson Nova Outpost, Le-koro -Emotia immediately hugged Tillian tightly, tearing up. "They...they told me you were dead too." Her mark was still active and she was squeezing rather tightly.
IC: Tillian (Crimson Nova Outpost, Le-Koro)"We need to get you out of here," he said, hugging her back tightly. Something's wrong. This is too easy. There are still too many questions...He shook his head again."Let's just get out of Le-Koro. We'll figure everything out later."-Teezy
IC: Emotia - Crimson Nova Outpost, Le-koro -Emotia nodded, "Where we gonna go?" Oddly enough, what was bothering Emotia the most at the moment was her apparent addiction to her Mark, she hadn't turned it off for hours now. For now she was just happy to be with Tillian again. I felt anxious, I could see Tillian was thinking the same thing, that something about this was off, it was too easy. The guards had been too easy...and leaving Emotia by herself unguard for us to just waltz in here and free her? "We need to get out of here yesterday..." I said urgently.
IC: [uyism]Uyism nodded and followed.
IC-Jaron:Jaron nodded once the others came in. "Like I told Emotia," he said to them, "Good luck." He stepped out the open door, his fëa wisping off from the others as his form passed through.IC-Dragou:Dragou watched what just happened, and turned to the others. "What...exactly...was that?" He said feebly, gesturing towards the door.
OOC: Timeskip. I'm grounded, so not much activity for a while IC: Rockosis reentered the shop, looking around warily for more suprises. "Is anyone here?" he called. "Matan, Natan, do you have my weapone ready?"-Bane
IC: Madrihk
"The Force have some birds for us," Madrihk explained. "You will be free to use both your lightning and your Hau without having to switch to a Kadin or something."Plagia raised an eyebrow at Mahdrik's plan. It was insane on the face of it, but, since she didn't have a better one, his would have to do."I hope you have some wings for the aerial squad," she said, "As good a warrior as I am, I still can't fly without outside aid."
"I already placed you on the aerial team, so I'd say you'd be useful for cutting a bloody swath across the sky, just like that. Keep an eye on your otehr flying teammates and make sure they don't fall."OOC: You are all ready, I guess. I'll give it till tomorrow and then call in Nuju for the attack, I'd say. All right?IC: Dervian approached Madrihk.
OOC: *Gasp* What about the Ussalry?IC:Trakuda looked over at Alfon, who was a good distance away telling anyone who would listen about Nui Rama making a good meal, causing the Matoran to recall the time when the team found a burnt Nui Rama corpse caught in the electric wire Alfon had set up around their makeshift camp. They had eaten it for breakfast that morning, and it had indeed tasted fairly good.
OOC: They will either have to hurry up (days have passed now), or they'll have to arrive and bail us all out of a pinch, like they did in MNOG.
IC: Madrihk"Everyone getting to know each other, then? Good. We will wait to see if the Ussalry makes it here, but I feel we must march soon before the Makuta notices our plan. He has ears everywhere, after all."
I.C. Kranuka watched as the last rama fell. He sighed. "Done at last! Nice job everybody!"I.C. Vompran"Looks like things are heating up."
IC: Reordin (Village Square, Pala-Koro)"So, I guess that means we have a few hours to prepare?" I asked.IC: Tillian (Crimson Nova Outpost, Le-Koro)Tillian finally cut Emotia's final bonds free and moved in, kissing her deeply for several seconds."I'm so sorry," he whispered. "I would have came for you earlier, but..."-Teezy
IC: Emotia - Crimson Nova Outpost, Le-koro -Emotia took in the kiss, wanting it to last forever. "It's okay. I'm just happy that your here now, and not dead." She teared up a bit. "That Vortixx seemed sure that you were dead." I was on the alert with Laserbeak and Krayn. I felt so on edge, something was just so wrong about this whole thing. It felt like a gigantic trap, I wanted to get out of here quickly. "I really don't like this...everything about this screams trap."
I.C. Vompran@ Reordin "Apparently so. If you need to do anything to prepare yourself, the time is now."
IC: Tillian (Crimson Nova Outpost, Le-Koro)"I was. Don't worry about it."He sighed and stood up."Skyra's right. We need to jet."-Teezy
OOC: In my defense: I am going about as fast as I can. XPMild bunnying follows.IC: 7th's return was marked by The Companions retreating from their cousins' huts and favored eateries. The Ussalmatoran trickled back to the stables quickly; within several minutes, they were all saddled. The three regiments formed before the elevators. With several words from Sulov, the platforms rose to recieve them, and the ride began anew.
IC: Skyra - Crimson Nova Outpost -And with that I began to head out of the Outpost the same way we all came in. "Where should we go now Tillian? I mean...between Turaga getting kidnapped and the Crimson Nova..." I thought about how Turaga Matau and Nokama had been reported missing to us just before Emotia had been taken. I couldn't believe it. At least the other Turaga were safe for now. OOC: Just wait till he finds out they're all gone.
Emotia stayed right by Tillian's side. She'd heard about Nokama's disappearance. "I should of been there...in Ga-koro." She muttered, mostly to herself. Her mark was still giving off a soft glow, she didn't want to turn it off, she felt stronger with it on.
IC: Rhow nodded. "You worry about that. I'll find us a place to find some Skakdi...preferably one that seels drinks." She looked around herself, watching the Matoran walking around. Some were carrying wares or other goods. Those were not the ones she was looking for. She needed Matoran that had free time on their hands. She led her fellow Skakdi through the village of air for some minutes, until she spotted a trio of Matoran exiting an inn. Now that was a good place to start looking."Over there." she motioned to Iraanus. "That looks like we might find another grinner there. Or some parchment to write on."IC: Iraanus shrugged.
OOC: Vezok, I'm going to get my Skakdi in the bar.IC: VilozSitting at a table were three Le-Matoran and oddly enough, one blue Skakdi, each and every one of them holding cards and eyeing them intensely. From afar, the scene looked rather odd and somewhat comical. No chatter came from them, only to be replaced by nervous glances at one another, twitches and sporadic shifting. The Skakdi's eyes followed the fingers of one of his competitors as he drew his card, gulping."Your move Viloz."As soon as the villager made his move, the being's permanent grin seemed to brighten, his shoulders slumping in relief. The little fool wore a smug look, unknowing that the game was now in Viloz's favor but still seemed to catch the Skakdi's change in demeanor."Yep...looks like you owe me a drink, you vine-swinging imps." Viloz declared as he lay down the rest of his cards, ultimately winning the game before breaking out into a hearty laugh which rang throughout the entire inn. The last of the competition groaned and threw their cards away in frustration before stalking off and buying Viloz the most expensive drink around."I hope you choke on it.""Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and I will...just kidding, your luck sucks. Catch you later 'buddy'."With that, the Matoran stalked off, leaving behind the blue Skakdi sitting in his chair, chuckling to himself as he sipped his drink, enjoying every bit of it.
IC: TarnokTarnok rode quietly, sorting through his weapons. He did an inventory, organized, and cleaned his weapons. For a Matoran who usually cared so little about neatness, it was distinctly unusual.IC: Krayn"We should get out of here. Now. Before something bad happens."
IC.The combined shadow of their two figures fell throuh the entrance of the inn, obscuring the sunlight falling through the door as Rhow and Iraanus entered the humble Le-Koronan establishment. Her predatory instincts kicking in, Rhow scanned the room mmediately, looking over each table, each patron, before she could relax and look around for a place to sit. At the bar there were a few empty stools, mostly because the majority of the peopel present were iengaged in some form of social activity, either sharing stoires, playing cards or rolling dices together in small groups. It was almost too calm for Rhow's taste, but at the same time a welcome change from her previous experiences. At home, if a bar was left standing, there was always at least one arm-wrestling contest going on...or a full-fledged bar-fight. It was oddly good to see that people here could still enjoy drinks in relative peace- They sat down at the counter and as Rhow scanned the room once more, she nudged Iraanus in the side. "I told you we'd find someone." she said, indicating a third Skakdi in the room, apparently enjoying a game of cards with the locals. OOC: We'll be a merry band of blue Skakdi if this continues ^^
IC-Unari:Unari stepped over to the two Skakdi who had just stepped into the room, smiling. "Eyeing the other guy over there, I see," he said, nodding over to Viloz. "I wouldn't recommend going up against him in a game, he's sure to beat you." He smiled wider. "But he certainly does bring in a lot of business for me, especially because when they gamble money and not drinks, the inn gets a small cut of the profits." He winked at the two."Ah, well, enough of my rambling. What would the two of you have?" He asked, his eyes slightly scanning the room behind Rhow and Iraanus. Good, nothing bad happening. He both wanted, and yet didn't want, a bar-fight to happen. They were bad for business yet such fun to get into. And throwing the brakas out of the bar was rather fun too, he had to admit.
IC, Verdi: Verdi was bored. "Do meetings with the Commander always take this long?" he asked Leah, trying to make conversation.
IC:"We're not here for the cardgames. Just for the player." Rhow stated plainly. Indeed, everything about her was direct. There were ne meandering sentences. Heck, she didn't even know what that was. "Now, pour me some water, will you." she ordered. Not that she couldn't handle the strong stuff. But there were times and places for those. This was one such place, but for her, not the time. She followed the barkeep's look past her, as he surveyed the room. "Nice place." she commented.---------------------Leah shrugged. "Not really, no. The only meetings that take this long usually involve the commanding officers of the other armed forces, Jaller, for example, or the Turaga...but they...oh well." She fell silent for a moment, looking down at her feet, collecting her thoughts. The she turned back to Verdi. "So tell me, what is it that Lans has done to get him such a long audience with the Captain?"
IC, Verdi: Verdi sighed. "Well, you see... when the Rahkshi were in the forest, Lans and the rest of our squadmates went to fight them. I was left behind." Verdi took a deep breath. "Only Lans returned. The others were killed... and their deaths gave Lans the idea to make a Rahkshi-fighting squad, so, yeah..."
IC:Leah's eyes widened a litte in surprise. She made a rolling motion with her hands, circling her index-fingers around one another, as if to roll up a scroll of parchment. "Hang on a second...you and him were out there when that happened? I'd only heard the Rahkshi had attacked...Mata Nui, that must have been terrifying!" She looked back at the door to Kongu's office and her expression became a bit more serious. "How'd Lans survive?" she asked.
IC, Verdi: Verdi shrugged. "Just got lucky, I guess. He probably used his skills to make sure he didn't die. You can ask him yourself after he's done with the meeting."
OOC: Prepare yourselves, readers, for a fair-sized hillock of dung up ahead. Suffice to say that I'm never forcing myself to write again.IC: Three elevators touched a verdant shore.Sixteen pairs of legs sat in that many saddles.Fifteen ussalmatoran (and one ussaliroiit) formed up into a travelling wedge. And one accented cry sent them trotting forwards:"Tu Pala-Korro!"OOC: Feel free to say they arrive whenever.
