IC: The Toa of Magnetism did likewise, turning casually and putting a few paces between them before slowly drawing his blade. As he returned his gaze to Bahkui, he gave a slight nod of his head signaling for the duel to commence.IC: BahkuiThe Onu-Matoran nodded, and prepared himself.
IC: Catacombs Hound, with a roar of pure rage, a rage that had been forced down for centuries, a rage that had been growing since the feud had first began, dashed foward, swing his spear with both hands. Onyx, with little or no visible effort, swung his sword in parry, deflecting the spear's blade as he slammed the maul's blunt end into Hound's side, creating a sound that was suspiciously similar to the sound of breaking bones. With a gasp of surprise, Hound momentarily stepped backwards, only to realize his cowardice and stepped foward again, slashing and stabbing with his spear in a Kakama-speed and Pakari-level strength frenzy.Gravity's attack was somewhat succesful, for Halion let go of Hajia's throat, but no arm was snapped and he landed on the wall with perfect balancing, only momentarily fazed from the impact. Hajia was wide eyed and panicked now, trying to breath, but seemingly unable to. Luncora said nothing in reply, chosing to show his answer in actions. Swing his Zweihander in a wide strike, something that would be rather jarring to block, Luncora pretended to agree. However, even as he did this, he activated his Kanohi, making a telekentic wave above Raxa, pushing down in what would feel like someone crushing you with a stone block. All rationality lost, Kirian snapped off Raveian's arm, his face emotionless as the hitman sputtered in shock. What came next was rather gruesome, to much for a child-oriented forum. To put it simply, Kirian took a few moments to completely snap off everyone of Raveian's limbs before slowly killing him with his bare hands. Blood still dripping from his fingers, Kirian stalked over to Tirus and Tajeh, his eyes glowing with terrifying rage. The Vortixx, his eyes glazed, fell onto his knees, forcing the sword blade in further. Blood spurted onto Tajeh's shield as the Vortixx fell on the Ko-Matoran, only twitching momentarily before succumbing to the void of death. Tirus pulled the Vortixx off of Tajeh. "You alright, lad?" He asked, his gruff face seemingly unable to show anything more than trivial concern.
IC-Raxa:Raxa, instead of dodging the blow, rolled away from it, using the telekinetic force to his advantage."Really," he growled, "Are you such a coward that you have to rely on your mask and your element in order to do battle?" The Toa of Crystal shook his head."You disappoint me, Luncora. I would have thought that you were stronger than this." As he spoke, he had been slowly strafing about Luncora, keeping the Toa of Magnetism moving, keeping him on his toes. Suddenly, Raxa stopped."Your turn to begin the pass," Raxa said.
IC(Tajeh): Tajeh dropped to his knees and his mask turned slightly green. He didn't hear Tirus. Or anyone or thing. All he saw and heard was the Vortixx and his heart beating.
IC: GravityAs soon as Halion released the Ga-Toa and landed on the far wall, I rushed over to Hajia. With a quick movement I cut her bonds (?) and wrapped an arm around her. She was wide-eyed and was having trouble breathing. "Relaxe, please," I said to her, keeping an eye on Halion. I had her, but it wasn't over yet. With my elemental energy almost drained, I instead used my mask. I created an illusion around Halion, blocking his field of view with complete blackness.IC: BahkuiThe Onu-Matoran didn't waste any time, and was alraedy moving foward for the first strike: a quick jab to the Toa of Magnetism's body. However, he cut the attack short and spun around to swing towards the Toa's side. Hopefully, the jab would confuse his opponent.
OOC: Er, they were diamond, but I don't think that's beyond a Toa of Gravity.IC: CatacombsHajia's chest rose up and down as she tried to breathe, panic and terror in her unrecognizing eyes. She tried to squirm out of Gravity's reach, but she was unable to, severaly weakened from her lack of Kanohi.Halion, meanwhile, was attempted to feel his way towards Gravity, a cruel smirk on his face. "Unable to breath, eh? I thought that might happen. Hoped for it, really. I didn't pray, though. Don't believe in any Mata-Nui. If he existed, I wouldn't still be breathing-" Halion suddenly silenced. A familiar Toa of Ice, his fingers red, loaded another arrow, but he already knew he didn't need it. An element arrow was accurately impaled in the Le-Toa's forehead. Ignoring everyone else, Kirian walked to Gahuari, unsure of how to break her diamond bonds. Turning to Gravity, he motioned to them, and then motioned to Hajia as if to say "Free her, I'll take care of Hajia". Luncora slashed with his Zweihander, slowly creating magnetic energy around his hands, planning for an attack, oblivious to the fact only he and Onyx remained."Lad." Tirus said with more volume, nudging Tajeh gently. The gentle nudge would turn harsh if the Ko-Matoran didn't snap out of it quick, though.Hound's fury was calmly deflected by Onyx, who blocked the blows with his braces, anticipating the Denuian by his body language and expressions. With suddeness that surprised even Hound, he stabbed forward with his broadsword, stabbing the blade into Hound's thigh. With a grunt, Hound awkwardly backed away, several of his ribs broken from the previous blow. Onyx's sword had pierced through all muscule into the bone, shattering it as well. "You always were so confident that good, or what you thought as good, would win." Onyx said, leaning down next to the cursing Denuian, who found himself bound by crystal chains that erupted from the floor. OOC: If anyone thinks that Onyx VS. Everyone else is coming up, it's a possibility.
IC-Raxa:Raxa easily dodged around the heavy blow, coming around behind Luncora. Then, as the Toa of Magnetism turned around, Raxa launched into a heavy flurry of attacks, fast and strong, keeping Luncora on the defensive and slowly forcing him back.Soon, Luncora stood near to Onyx, the only being there who was actually ready to attack them being Raxa."Well, isn't this just grand," he said drily. "Tell me, do either of you know where Sinina is? This just doesn't seem complete without her here as well."
IC: NaruThe Toa of Plasma pondered the question for a few seconds before answering."Surprisingly enough the Faxon doesn't feel as useful as other masks, but that's only because it does a lot of little things instead of one big thing. A Mask of Strength can be used for fighting, moving stuff, climbing, et cetera; while a Faxon lets you make small sticky webs, or use poison at touch-range, or glow brightly... but only where there's water. Your knowledge of local Rahi dictate what you can and can't do, and since I don't really know the wildlife all that well I occasionally wonder why I wear it."At this point, the Toa were nearing Ta-Koro itself, as evidence by the rising heat and the faint orange glow in the distance of the tunnel. The crater below the village fortress could be heard bubbling and sizzling, as it always did and probably always would."Then again," Naru continued, "the Faxon has its perks. Have you ever seen a Lava Hawk use its ability before?"Without waiting for a response, Naru let her skin suddenly be covered in a thick, black ooze. It appeared to harden a second later, leaving a darkened - yet still moving - silhouette of a Toa. Without warning, Naru smiled and dipped her entire arm into a lava pool that they just happened to pass by. After a few seconds she withdrew it again, molten stone running off her still-coated limb. There was not a single burn on it, not even a trace that it had ever been submerged in lava at all.In her hand, Naru gripped a small object. The Toa of Plasma used her element to withdraw the heat from it, and then dismissed the Faxon-copied Rahi power, which had been the ability to form a completely lava-resistant shell. She tossed the object to Zauk, and it became clear that it was a jet-black, glass-like rock."The Matoran miners call it obsidian," she explained. "It forms when magma formed from certain rock types cools rapidly. Lucky me, I can fake the process with my element. Be careful, though. It's usually hard, and somewhat brittle, and also very sharp around the corners. My version is probably even more brittle than that, since it was made unnaturally. Still, I thought you might like a souvenir. Welcome back to Ta-Koro."OOC: Naru and Zauk to Ta-Wahi. (Short stay.IC: ZaukThe Toa of Lightning shrugged. "I dunno," he said. "I think that every element has various uses for it, if you know how to use it, right?""Besides," he added. "You've got that handy mask there, eh?" It wasn't that much longer until Zauk noticed the change in temperature as well, him only because he began to feel uncomfortable from the heat. Well, more uncomfortable then he was now, that is.
IC(Tajeh): Tajeh pulled himself up, his shield and sword dragging against the floor. ".....yes......Tirus.....?"
IC: GravityI placed a hand on Hajia, before nodding to Kirian. I passed the Ga-Toa over to the Toa of Ice. Half-walking half-stubling over to the still bound Ga-Matoran I focused my remaining elemental power on the crystaline bonds. In less then a few seconds, the bonds collapsed under their own weight, and I grabbed the Matoran before she hit the ground.Sparing a glance at Hound and Onyx, I went back over to Kirian.
IC: CatacombsLuncora smiled slightly. "Reinforcements." He said, and then activated the magnetic power he had been saving. Raxa would find himself crushing inward, his metallic components suddenly wanting to form a sphere where his vital organs happened to be.Onyx said nothing, twirling his maul and observing Hound with interest. The Denuian stopped struggling and stared at him as well, his eyes solemn. "Just wanted to make sure yer breathing, lad." Tirus said, leaning on his warhammer with one arm, offering a hand to Tajeh with the other. Kirian had calmed Hajia significantly, but she still acted as if suffering from amnesia. She clung to him like a newborn child, resisting the Ko-Toa's gentle attempts to pry her off. When Gahuari was brought to him, Kirian watched her with emotionless eyes. Taking the Ga-Matoran in his arms, Kirian quieted the still-confused Hajia, who refused to do anything but hold onto Kirian with both arms.
IC-Raxa:Raxa dropped to the ground in pain, unable to stand due to the sheer crushing force put upon his torso now. However, he struggled, his mask glowing slightly, the extra strength given to his muscles helping to push the armour out slightly, though it did nothing to lessen his pain. There was one thing Luncora forgot about, though, one thing he wouldn't be able to defend against as he concentrated on Raxa-the crossbow lying on the floor. One last poison bolt loaded. With great effort, Raxa managed to speed over to the crossbow, firing his bolt-Luncora would be allowed one final expression of shock before the bolt would punch through his armour, pouring out the deadly poison faster than the Toa of Magnetism would blink.
IC: LuncoraAs Luncora lifted his sword to strike Raxa down, the Toa of Crystal fired his crossbow. With a grunt of surprise, Luncora rolled to the side, letting the bolt go slamming to the wall fifty feet away. His concentration broken, Raxa would be freed from his torment. Swinging his sword with expert timing and trained strength, Luncora began to press a jarring offensive, giving Raxa no time to recover his wits.
IC-Raxa:Well...It almost worked."Has anybody ever told you that you're stubborn to the point of stupidity?" Raxa said calmly, defending himself, before launching a powerful kick to Luncora's midsection, one that sent him backwards a few feet. After catching his breath, Raxa raised his hammer, pointing it over to Luncora."You have two options. Drop your weapons," he growled, "Or I'll take this to the pain and leave you there. Death is a mercy you won't receive."
IC: Gravity "Hajia..." I said helplessly, reaching out to the Toa of Water. Something broke inside of me as I saw Hajia like this. Who could do something like this? How could I help!? I felt my fists clentch, and my rage grow inside of me.
IC: Demas neatly sidestepped the jab, moving to his left, as any follow-up attack would likely come from the right. As such, he easily brought his sword up in time, an upward slice intercepting Bahkui's blade and throwing the strike off-course. As his sword reached the apex of its path, he transferred it to his left hand and brought it down in a stab at Bahkui's left shoulder.
IC(Tajeh): "I'm breathing, I'm breathing." Tajeh replied a little sadly. "Did they rescue Hajia....?"
IC: BahkuiThe Onu-Matoran shifted his feet, and the stab downward flew past him. With the Toa slightly leaning over from the attack, Bahkui sent a small slash upward in return. Seeing as Demas switched from one hand to the other, a highly impracticable move in combat, he was either very bad, or very good. Bahkui decided to go with good.
OOC: I'm assuming Raxa's warhammer is made of metal, I don't believe you said otherwise. IC: Catacombs"Oh, of course. I'll just sit here like a good little Matoran. How absolutely stupid of me to think of resisting." Luncora said, unfazed by the Toa of Crystal's speech. As he spoke, he focused with his powers, magnetically powering on Raxa's hammer, which would suddenly be flying backwards into the Toa of Crystal. As the hammer flew backwards, Luncora sprinted, swing his Zweihander when he was only inches away from the range of Raxa's daggers, a blow that would be hard to simply dodge, considering the speed, range, and strength of the sword as it slashed diagonally, from right to left, ground to air."Not quite." Tirus said, hefting his warhammer, pointing it at Onyx and Hound. The Toa of Crystal was swing his maul with a hand, observing the Denuian with cold interest. "And so it ends." Onyx whispered. "Villan and hero. 'Tis a shame, for you at least, that this is not as cliche as the Matoran tales." With this, he swung the maul, Pakari activated, sending the sharp edge screaming through the air. With a roar, Hound shattered the diamond bonds. It was shocking, seeing something only Protosteel outmatched in durability being crushed and cracked like ice after being crushed with a hammer. Onyx's maul was held in one had by Hound, who was leaning on one knee, staring into Onyx's eyes with a silent intensity. "I am no hero." He said slowly, crushing the head of Onyx's maul between his fingers. "Careful, Ba-Toa." Kirian said quietly. "You've already killed her tormentor." Kirian said, nodding at Halion as he carefully hugged Hajia, who still percieved the world with wide, unrecognizing eyes. These eyes were beginning to fill with tears at the sound of Onyx and Hound's combat."You're probably wondering why we're doing nothing." Kirian said, attempting to take attention off of Hajia's condition. "Hound and Onyx have hated each other before any of us existed. They are ancient titans, making the mountains crumble and the oceans dry with their destructive combat. It is, to say it in a somewhat cliche way, personal."
IC: GravityI nodded, and tried to focus on something other than Hajia's current state. It wouldn't be healthy for me or her if I did focus on it. "Kirian, my man," I said, my voice distant. "Quit joking around, does it look like the time?"It was poor attempt at humor, but I tried anyway. "Is it personal enough for Hound not to accept help?" I asked, thinking of a way I could distract Onyx, atleast momentarily.
IC-Raxa:Raxa merely raised his hammer above his head, allowing it to follow with the momentum and go flying behind him. Then he simply stood as Luncora came running at him-until it was too late.Raxa activated his Pakari, lunging forward, getting within Luncora's guard, before he proceeded to pummel the Toa of Magnetism with Pakari-enhanced blows.Nothing that would be lethal, at least not immediately-until Raxa formed crystal spikes upon his hands.
IC(Tajeh): ".....what can we do? It looks like they'll kill us all before killing each other, Tirus."
IC: Catacombs "Hmmm... Perhaps they will kill us all before they kill each other." Tirus said. "But whoever goes to help either side is definitely going to die. Let Hound handle this, lad.""Undoubtedly." Kirian said in response to Gravity. He had stopped hugging Hajia to hold Gahuari with both arms, and the Ga-Toa clinged to him like a child, weeping into his shoulder, ignoring the quieting words of Kirian. "They would destroy anyone that got in the way." The first blow, being Pakari-powered, sent Luncora skidding away a few feet, slightly stunned. Before the next blow came, he had taken a step back, allowing the fist to pass before him. Backpeddling slowly, Luncora let Raxa attempt to hit him, only to step back before the blow met. After running backwards from a particularly powerful blow, he had enough room to try what he had been planning. Focusing, he activated his Kanohi, creating a powerful telekentic wave of energy, pushing Raxa forward, off balance with great force. As he did this, he focused on his remaining elemental energy (around 25%), magnetically charging his sword and Raxa. With a roar, he threw his sword, using all of his elemental powers in a destructive attack. Raxa's magnetic field had been greatly heightened, and as he did this, Luncora magnetically charged his sword, sending it flying at Raxa with incredible speed. "If I was a hero, I wouldn't do this." Hound said, reaching foward to slam his spear into Onyx's armor, shattering the diamond and sinking the blade into the Toa of Crystal's heart. "This is for Xenia." Hound whispered, forcing the spear out of Onyx's back and through his armor. Onyx fell to his knees, ripping his faceplate off as he did so. His Kanohi, a simple Pakari, was dripping with blood from his mouth as he smiled, visible from the mouth hole."You're learning." He said, plunging his sword into Hound. The blade slammed into Hound's side, and with a gasp, the Denuian fell to his knees as well. The two opponents stared into each other's eyes, calm and quiet. Hound, his hand shaking, removed Onyx's mask. The Toa fell backwards as he did so, stopped mid-fall by the spear blade, leaving him in an odd angle, spear shaft protruding from his chest. His face was so beautiful, like an angel or Mata-Nui himself, with handsome cheekbones, eyes that looked like they once held kindness. The beauty was startling. With a sigh, Onyx slipped into the void of death.
IC-Raxa:00:00:00.5Also known as: 0.5 seconds. This was how much time Raxa had to begin his next action. What was happening? Telekinetic wave pushing him into a flying sword. He rolled with the wave, putting his Pakari on full blast so that he could grasp the sword. The edge rolled along his palm, opening a long, bloody cut. With a slight hiss Raxa slid his hand onto the ricasso of the Zweihander, before moving both hands down to the true hilt, one slippery with blood-his, and possibly Luncora's. He wasn't sure.Raxa glanced over, watching as Onyx slipped into the void, Hound seeming to follow the same path as he turned to Luncora."It's over," he said, gasping for breath with the other Toa. "Your leader is dead. If you leave now, I won't kill you. If you stay to fight...I give no guarantees. Make your choice."
IC(Tajeh): Tajeh took a step forward, then stepped back. He attempted to speak but a weak howl came out instead. This was too much for Tajeh to digest.
IC: Agate - Home, Onu-Wahi -"Hmmm?" Agate said through a muffled voice, as she had like three donuts in her mouth, her cheeks were puffed up like a chipmunks.
IC: Luncora, Onu-WahiLuncora grinned slightly. "Escape? I would be hunted down and killed in hours. How would you like a new agent, Raxa? NEX needs another killer, I'm sure."
IC-Raxa:"Depends on whether or not you would be able to keep Sinina and her reinforcements off of us, Luncora," Raxa growled. "Unless you can prove so to me, I guess your only option is death."
IC: The Pyro and LondarThe Pyro and Londar burst into the village of Onu-Koro, with The Pyro setting everything on fire that was in his way. They had no time to waste; they ripped a straight line of fire through the village.OOC: The Pyro and Londar to Po-Wahi. Where are the followers of Makuta? These two might be considering joining, but we can't find them. How do you join?

IC: LondarLondar had arrived in Onu-Koro. The village had repaired itself from the rampage he and The Pyro caused. "Hopefully no one recognizes me..." he thought. After nailing all of his signs down, he scurried out of town heading for Ko-WahiSign:

IC: Gravity"Karz," I cursed as Onyx left on the express rout to the Void. Fun. Hound seemed almost there, with a sword sticking out of his side. "Kirian....?" I asked, my voice unnaturally quiet. Now that was hard for me to take in... All of it. Hajia, Hound, and even the Ga-Matoran Gahuari. It make me want to bring Onyx back, only to beat the snot out of him again. Not very Toa-like, huh? Well, Karz, it was hard for me to take.
IC-Holluk:"Ta-Wahi," Holluk answered curtly in the Matoran tongue, as he continued to dig-too intent upon finding this other Iroiit to go back and use an easier tunnel. However, when he wished to get somewhere, he would dig fast-soon enough, he had dug himself into the main tunnel leading to Ta-Koro, quickly following along it.OOC: Holluk to Ta-Wahi.

IC: Soft screeching and clicking bounced off the copper colored and jagged walls of the cave. Over the exotic noise drops of water swelled and fell from the upside-down spires and splashed to the damp earth below. In the distance, within a cavity in the cave barely accommodating the new figures inside. One, standing upright, was huge beyond imagination. Since we had saw him last, he had grown bigger, stronger, faster, and deadlier. Every word out of his mouth would boom, but he never screamed. It was simply the natural way he talked, or rather, now the influence of Makuta spoke through him."...Ronkshou...", a raspy, soft, and struggling voice pleaded from figure who was ever bound the stone slab. The man on the bed was covered in a large, tan sewn blanket. Though it was it old and tattered, the cloth was miles better than being exposed to the naked, dark coldness that emanated this cave. Here, the sun was not welcome, for it was uncomfortably close to the Makuta's lair. The figure on the stone bed tried to raise his left arm, in order to gesture towards the hulking servant of Makuta. After a struggle, the slinky wrist fell back to his side. It hurt the man to move, because Ronkshou was a wise man. He knew of better ways to restrain an enemy, without using a single shackle. The hurt man decided to call out to Ronkshou again, this time using his real name."... Ra'lhen...", the man croaked. At first, all this did was invite a chuckle from the standing infected Toa. After a moment, Ronkshou turned around, and looked down upon his handiwork."... you...", the man forced the words from his lips. Even his lungs would send pain down his spine, but still, the hurt man pressed on, "... you can be saved from this". There was a pause, "... you are... not... Vidar. You are a hero, held back... broken by the immense strength of the Makuta. If you... are not... helped... it could be too late... for... any hero... to you!""Why should I depend on a Toa to help me?" Ronkshou replied. For the brutish look that he had, his voice sounded quite reserved, almost bored. "The most powerful ones we knew failed their mission to help - you failed your mission to help!""All I want...", the Toa under the cloth panted, "is to find my sister"Ronkshou leaned over the broken Toa, "I understand your anxiety. Know that your sister is in good health, and... quite frankly, we may yet see that she will continue to be in good health for much time to come"The pain that the Toa was pooling his effort to tolerate was starting to make him sweat, but he knew much better than to remove the cloak and face the cold, dead air. He could feel the chillness in his face, and in his exposed feet. Besides, if the cloak fell to the ground, there was no way that the Toa would be able to pick it up. His back was broken - right over Ronkshou's right knee."Why this...?" the broken Toa whispered, though if he could, he would have bellowed, "You could have just killed me. Why all this?!""Your punishment must be more severe," Ronkshou replied with subtle gleefulness, "You didn't just hurt the Makuta - in fact, you hardly hurt the Makuta! But you hurt me, Wokapu. Put a stake right through me. It's only fair that I return the favor"Fresh water continued to run, drop by drop, through the cave ceilings, and falling periodically to the flour, making a soft splash that, without echoes, would be hardily audible. Wokapu could feel the air getting colder. Ronkshou, of course, had enough muscle mass for his own expensive fur coat. His torso had only the most important armor - much of his back and arms were exposed."I could have killed your sister - a simple neck-snap", Ronkshou gloated, "But that does something to a Toa. Not saying you would have felled me, but there are far easier ways to maximize your pain.In a flash, Ronkshou picked up Wokapu by the color like a ragdoll, and dropped him lazily. The Toa of Air let out a quick yell from the pain, and it quickly died off into a whimper."I had a better idea," Ronkshou said, "You will live your life as a failure. You will be the final proof to close the case to Wokiya. She could never depend on you, and even when she finally thought she could... you show her the truth... with my help, of course"Ronkshou chuckled darkly, and stood there for a moment to let his words sink into what was once the leader of the Cultured Gentry's soul. Makuta's servant finally turned around and made his way out of the room. He was almost past the wall when he looked back at Wokapu one last time."When everything is finished, and your plentiful resources have successfully defeated the rising class of Toa once and for all... then you'll have my permission to die"With that, Wokapu listened to the rough thumps of the cave floors and Ronkshou'd armored feet dampen, until Wokapu was finally in peace.OOC: For those [one] people who fear I'll do what I did last time a Batman move came out... don't worry - I promise I won't. I got something better planned - my greatest character development yet.(edited for some word replacements... and to add that disclaimer above).
IC: Sythrih"You, Miss, need to lay off the donuts," the Toa of Earth said, grinning while she poked her sister's stomach.Sythrih relaxed back into the chair, quite glad to be home after all this time. It was one of the few places on the entire island that the Toa of Earth felt safe.
IC: Agate - Home, Onu-Wahi -Agate giggled from the poke. "Okay...I'll save the rest for later." She said with an impish grin.
IC: Sythrih"For some odd reason, I don't quite believe you..." the Onu-Toa said, poking her sister's stomach again.
IC: Agate - Home, Onu-Wahi -Agate jerked back and giggled from the second poke. "Stop it..." she said while trying not to laugh.
