IC: BrukinBrukin was quiet a moment. "Well, I suppose that works too."
IC: Nei"Yeah!" she said, squeezing Brukin's leg a bit harder. This cut-off some blood flow to his foot. Which he probably noticed.
IC: Hound, Ga-WahiHound moved so fast, only a blurred image of him could be seen. Stepping to the side, Hound avoided the tentacle. When he saw Gravity beginning to head-butt, he continued his side-step until he was behind him. And he still had Gravity's arm, which would useless and trapped. Leaning down next to Gravity, he whispered in his ear, "You'll have to do better than that..." Before letting go of the arm and zooming away to the other end of the island.
IC: GravityI shook my now released arm, trying to get feeling back into it. "Yeah... Great," I muttered.I stared at Hound, thinking. I wouldn't be able to outmatch him for speed and strength, but I could do some clever moves... I ran at the huge being. I continued on strait towards him, as if I were going to perform a jumping attack of some kind. Then, at the last possible second, I pushed off the ground with my tentacles; sending me to the right of Hound. I flew past him, my momentum still carrying me foward. As I pasted by him, I sent three quick punches to his side, while I prepared the real part of my plan...
OOC: And Yant, Vindin, and Xerxes are approved by Nuju, and can be found in my BZPRPG profile post.IC: Yant & Co, Ga-KoroWhen Hound and that Ba-Toa left the building, Yant and his two friends went back to staring at Hajia, plans of violence in their minds. Well, as violent as wantabe gangsters can get.IC: Hound, Ga-KoroHound left one of the hits touch him, and then stepped back. "Three." He said mechanically, carefully watching Gravity. He seemed to be up to something...
OOC: Awesomesauce.IC: GravityI was onto Hound in a second, throwing punch after punch, and kick after kick. I was trying to keep him off balence, just a bit.I had my plan all worked out, now I just needed to wait for the right time.
IC: Hound, Ga-WahiHound stepped back from each punch and kick, allowing them to get teasingly close, but never touching him. "What are you trying to do, little Toa?" He whispered, half to himself, and half to Gravity. To disrupt Gravity's punches, he slid to the ground in a trip-kick before backflipping away. When he landed, he rolled his shoulders before grinning in defiance.IC: Yant & Co, Ga-KoroAs Yant put down his now-empty drink, he yelled at Hajia. "WAITRESS! REFILL!" He shouted.IC: Hajia, Ga-KoroHajia quickly finished serving one of the bar's occupiants, grabbed a nearby pitcher of a dark, brownish liquid, and walked as fast as possible to Yant's table. As she leaned next to him to pour the drink, Yant whispered something in her ear. From the outraged look on Hajia's look, it couldn't have been anything flattering. At least, not flattering in a good way.Sitting the pitcher down on the table, Hajia straightened up, and stared the-still-sitting Yant directly in the eye. "How dare you..." She said, her hands twitching and trembling in rage.Yant merely smiled.
OOC: Lol, totally not going to end well.
IC: GravityI jumped over the trip-kick. I stayed there for a second, my tentacles holding me off the ground as my feet hung in the air. "Well, that depends..." I replied as my feet touched the ground again.I suddenly threw a punch to Hound's head. And with his focus directed upward, I shot my tentacles out towards one of his feet, aiming to trip him.
IC(Tajeh): As the battle raged on, Tajeh took more interest in it. "I guess I was wrong about the purple one's skills," he thought aloud, "the tall one is more powerful it seems." He continued watching the two trade blows, taking more mental notes on them.
IC: Hound, Ga-KoroWith the same speed he used before, Hound snapped his head back, letting the punch fly over his face. His arms shot up, grasping the limb the same moment Gravity's tentacle grabbed his leg. His strength enhanced, the tentacle couldn't trip him, but it did touch him, so... "Four." Hound said as he swung Gravity's arm the very way he had done before with the tentacle. As he swung, he powerful kicked the leg that Gravity's tentacle had grasped backwards. IC: Yant & Co & Hajia, Ga-KoroYant's smile was interrupted by a back-hand slap so powerful, his head shot backwards with whiplash. Hajia, the giver of the slap, stood infront of him as he felt his face with his hand."Don't you ever say something like that again..." She said, looking like she was about to snap his neck.Yant looked back at her, rage in his eyes. Saying something not approprate for this fourm, he stood up, towering at the very least two feet over her. Hajia never backed down. It was hilarous, seeing such a small Ga-Toa intimidating a monster of a Ve-Toa.OOC: Yes, I've used the Hubret-created Plantlife prefix.
OOC: lol.IC: GravityI let go of Hound's leg, and let the huge being swing me around again. This time, however, I used the momentum to enhance a round-house kick to his side.As Hound swung me anound, I noticed a Ko-Matoran watching off to the side. Great, now had I someone watching me get beat up. Fun.
IC: Hound, Ga-WahiHound let go of Gravity's arm as he stepped back, letting the roundhouse kick go millimeters away from his skin. The momentum of which he threw Gravity would send him flying into the ocean. Even so, Hound zoomed to the other end of the island. "Six more." He said, the ghost of a grin on his face.
IC: Gravity"Yeah," I said, just before I hit the water. But I didn't come back up. Instead, I swam towards the other end of the island, where Hound was at.I jumped out of the water behind him, and reached for one of his arms with my tentacle and hand while throwing a punch at his stomach with my other arm.
IC(Tajeh): Tajeh had to leave his rocky chair to follow the combatants. Not wanting to go into the water again, he had to watch from the warm sand on the beach. The fighters were farther then before, but he could still see them pretty easily.
IC: Hound, Ga-WahiHound twisted and turned with agility that looked impossible for such a large being. The punch for the stomach went flying past, while both the tentacle and the hand flew milimeters from their target. Taking several steps back, Hound spoke. "As you've noticed, I'm making it harder to hit me every time you advance. You're going to have to do something ingenious to earn a hit."IC: Hajia & Yant, Ga-KoroWith a roar of rage, Yant charged Hajia, ignoring the multiple blows she landed. Grabbing her with both arms, Yant easily lifted her off the ground, and ran out the door with her, his two friends close behind. As they went through the bar's door, Hajia began to scream curses and threats upon the Toa of Plantlife, attracting a lot of attention. Especially Hound's.IC: Hound, Ga-WahiHound's head snapped to the side when he heard the first of Hajia's screams. "Training adjourned." He growled as he shot across the lilipads.
IC-Raxa:Raxa calmly turned, his hand grabbing Yant by the arm and wrenching it away. He then shoved Hajia back behind him, turning and facing Yant, whilst smiling pleasantly."Anything I can help you with, sir?" He asked, his hands rather near his knives.
IC: GravityI whipped my head around, frozen in mid-strike, was that...? "Agreed," I said, my voice strangely calm.I shot off after Hound, having altered my gravity towards Hajia. Something really didn't feel right.
IC: RavageRavage appeared next to Raxa, his face set is a bestial snarl. "I warned you, but you didn't listen."
IC(Tajeh): Tajeh spun on his foot when he heard the scream. He drew up his spear next to him, put his shield on his left arm and walked towards the scene that was unfolding. He also noticed the purple Toa and the tall one running up as well. Tajeh didn't know what he was going to do, but he knew he was gonna be like a hero.
IC: Hound, Yant, HajiaYant began to open his mouth, but a tall blur of black and golden slammed into him, sending him flying several dozen yards, his sudden flight only ended by a solid stone war.Stepping around Raxa, Hound leaned down to Hajia's height. "Are you alright?" He asked, concern on his face. Hajia nodded, no emotion but anger on his face. "That Brakas..." She said, staring at Yant's slumped body. "I don't even want to know what he had planned for me..."Vindin and Xerxes stood next to Yant, staring at Hound nervously.
IC: RavageCrystalline chains appeared over Yant's wrists and ankles. Ravage growled. "I have absolutely no respect for cowardly beings like him." He looked at Vindin and Xerxes. "You two. If you're smart, you'll apologize for your friend, and then leave."
IC: GravityI released the energy holding me up, and I dropped to one of the platforms. Rolling to absorb the impact, I came up beside Hajia. "And I don't really want to find out. Good thing you're ok..." I said, having arrived a bit later then Hound. She seemed fine, but looked really angry."What happened?" I asked, glaring at the unconscious Yant.
ICI could not help but sigh, rubbing the bridge of my mask between my fingers. Le-Korians were more flighty than Ga-Maotran schoolgirls, prone to changing their minds fifteen times in the course of the day, each time quite passionately and emotionally. "Ok Cysero, what is it THIS time?" I asked, not thrilled with the way this was heading. Naria and I were here for a few specific things, then going off on some grand adventure. What kind of adventure had yet to be decided, but it beat standing here talking, even if it WAS about Kohlii. I gave a small smile as I raised an eyebrow."Did your team get wet feet again? You know how your villagers are when they travel through the swamp on foot."
IC: Hound, Hajia, Vindin, XerxesHajia looked up at Gravity. "He... said something really, really bad about me, and I slapped him. It went on from there." Her face was still a mask of anger.Vindin shuffled back and forth, saying nothing. Xerxes, however, began to speak. "We, or at the very least, I, apologize for the behavior of our friend. Now, if you would be kind enough to release him, we shall make our leave." He showed obvious skill in the art of public speaking.
IC: Cysero (Ga-Koro)Cysero's generally bright eyes darkened a bit at the attempted barb."My Turaga is missing, snatched from his hut without any trace, almost as if the shadows themselves took hold of him. My teammate, my friend, Tamaru, got whacked by some of Makuta's minions weeks ago inside his own hut. Nui-Rama attacks are reaching an all-time high. Hardly wet feet."-Teezy
IC:GravityMy eyes flared as I continued to glare at the Ve-Toa. "Well, atleast you got him back. Sorta," I commented.Yant was a bit lucky Hound had knocked him out before I got there.
IC: RavageRavage grinned, and expression most disturbing on his Rahi-like face. "Very well." The bonds disappeared. "Take him and go. But keep one thing in mind. I have eyes everywhere." The implied threat was obvious. If they stepped out of line again, Ravage would know.
IC(Tajeh): Tajeh ran up after the tall one knocked down the green Toa. "Mata Nui! That was a strong shove, tall one!" breathed Tajeh.
IC-Raxa:Raxa turned over to Hound. "May I please shoot the Ve-Toa?" He asked, beginning to pull his crossbow off of his back. "In my opinion, he deserves it, don't you think?"IC-Naria:Naria nodded. "Nokama was taken too," she said, slightly bitter. "The same with Whenua. Onewa, hopefully, managed to make it back to Po-Koro alright." She sighed, shaking her head. "Makuta is getting ever more bold, and I fear this is all leading up to something much worse, even with all the Toa we have now." She thought for a moment."We might all have to hop back into our respective guard spots," she said after a moment. "Maybe try to start up a joint strike team." She shrugged."I know it would certainly take a while to convince the marines about it," the Ga-Matoran told them. "Though I don't know about the Ta-Koro guards or the Gukko Force." Naria shook her head."Let's not focus on that now," she muttered. "Let's move on to a happier topic, shall we?"
IC: Hound & Hajia, Ga-KoroThe pair of Vindin and Xerxes quickly pulled the Ve-Toa away.Hajia sighed, releasing the anger that she'd kept. "Well, at least he wasn't able to do whatever he planned..." She said as she dusted herself off.Hound noticed the Ko-Matoran approaching him. "Hmm? Oh, yes... A bit too strong. I was afraid I killed him there for a moment." Upon hearing Raxa's comment, Hound turned on him, harshness in his voice. "One never, never takes another's life without need. He has learned his lesson, and to kill him would put blood on your hands. Blood that shows the world the bringer of justice is no better than the breaker of it."
IC: Ravage"Sometimes that's the case." Ravage said, looking up at Hound. "Sometimes the one who brings justice truly is no better than those he brings to justice."
IC-Raxa:Raxa shrugged. "I wasn't planning on killing him," he said. "I've got something that'll make him sleep for a while longer than he will otherwise, making him unable to affect us for possibly a week, depending on the strength of the sedative. I figured it might be useful." He shrugged again."I suggest it because some people are too stupid to learn when enough is enough, and they keep coming back."
IC: Hound & Hajia, Ga-Koro"I've had some past expirence with Yant. I'm surprised he dared to do this after last time. I trust him to stop now." Hound said, showing that he wished the conversation to be done and finished. As he finished speaking, the Po-Matoran owner of the bar came walking out of the bar, walking quite fast for someone with a peg-leg. "You K'.?" He asked as he looked up at Hajia.Hajia nodded. "I'll get back to work in a few seconds." She said. The Po-Matoran nodded. "Good. I'll hold you to that." He grunted as he went back inside.Hajia turned to Gravity, envolping him in a very affecionate hug, and then ran back inside.
IC(Tajeh): "Let me introduce myself, tall one," Tajeh said, giving a slight bow, "my name is Tajeh, one time Rahi hunter, ex-boat carver and amateur hero." He grinned, "And you are?"
IC: Hound, Ga-Koro"Hound. Extreme fisherman." Hound said, leaning down to offer his hand for a shake.
IC(Tajeh): He took Hound's hand and shook it, his hand tiny compared to Hound's. "Fisherman? Do you wrestle the fish into submission or just glare until they hop in your boat?" joked Tajeh.
OOC: Okay, after a bit of research as to the symptoms and treatment for concussions, I've come to a conclusion.
IC: SalamanderSalamander didn't need to be a mind-reader or a doctor to realize that Venator was lying and actually in terrible condition. No, all he needed was to do was punch Venator in the face, an act that he did without hesitation or the slightest trace of guilt. However, Venator's extremely slow reaction time and complete inability to dodge the attack did more than provide Salamander with a diagnosis of Venator's state of health; it also gave him an idea. Well, two to be exact.Salamander could either kill Venator right now and finally be free from the Toa's constant watch, or he could fly to Ta-Koro and hope that Venator died out in the wilderness. Either way, Venator would end up dead, a fact that pleased Salamander to no end.
IC: Toranmat sailed into the familiar seas of Ga-Koro. "So, what have your experiences been? Like, in the navy."
IC: [Treize]"Rather difficult at first, but it gets easier after a while once you get used to all the stuff you need to do. Experiences? I lost my last ship by trying to ram a Tarakava."
IC: GravityI watched Hajia go, sighing, before turning back to Hound and the rest. "I'd go with the first option," I told the Ko-Matoran. "Although, sometimes spears are involved.""Oh, yeah, I'm Gravity," I said, holding out my hand to shake. "I dunno... Your local hero, adventurer, good looking guy, etc."
