BZPRPG: Ko-Wahi

IC: NovaNighttimeOutside Ice Howl Inn, Ko-KoroNova let out a little yelp when he was grabbed, his feet lifted off the ground and lightly touching the snow as he was carried to the midst of the group. Only when he was set down did his face warm. He scratched his neck, trying not to look at anyone's faces and unable to say anything other than, "Um."He did meet Esao's eyes, though, and give a small nod of thanks.

Amalod turns around to face Nova; the smile on her face broadening."Oh, what's your name?"-Mef Man

[iC: Rannin]"Bruntoa, my matchmaking senses are tingling."

IC: Bruntoa - School Grounds -"Oh really? Do tell."

[iC: Rannin]"You know how sometimes people have rather accurate hunches? Well I have a hunch that something romantic is going on nearby."

IC: NovaNighttimeOutside Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro"Uh--" Nova's hand hovered between his neck and side in indecision before he laced his fingers behind his back and rocked on his heels. "--Nova. You're Amalod, right?" He extended a greeting hand as if the action was an afterthought.

IC: Bruntoa - School Grounds -"That's...really interesting." Bruntoa finally said, blinking his eyes. He wondered if he was suffering from a concussion.

"Um..yes, Nova, it's my name," she replies grasping the hand in a greeting handshake. "Do...do I know you?"-Mef Man

IC: Riversong (watching the stars in Ko-Koro)Seeing as Amalod had busied herself talking to Nova, Riversong decided to wait until the conversation was finished before accepting the other Toa's offer to identify some of the stars.

[iC: Rannin]"Yes it is."

IC: NovaNighttimeOutside Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro"Er, yeah," said Nova. "I mean -- apparently not, but -- anyway, I'm, uh, part of the group that you just joined today. I was there when you were accepted." He suddenly realized he'd been shaking Amalod's hand through his entire introduction and let go with a sheepish look, eyes flickering between the snow, the sky, and the Toa of Water standing before him.

IC: Aurel:She'd decided to move ahead of the ILS into the mountains. Not her best idea ever, but if she got lost, she could see the village. Until a snow-storm hit. But it wasn't like snow... A illusion. Whoever was doing it must be covering the entire wahi between their hideout and the place of shadows. Now if she could just figure out where the illusion started and ended...

IC: Sideways:The Toa of Magnetism pointed a little ways, a bit away was a canyon, the very one that he had told the Ko-Koroians to meet at.​"I can see here, already I'm putting an illusion down there at the canyon edge. When we get guests, they'll be greeted by a army and a snowstorm."On-cue, a artificial snow-storm appeared on the canyon, and the surrounding mountain. At the same time, Sideways created a magnetic field around the cave entrance. No metal could pass into the cave that way now, and nothing could leave either. Only Sideways or another Toa of Magnetism could null the field. And that's what Sideways wanted.

OOC: Clever. The fake snow obscures the area, forcing scouts to get closer. The magnetic field gives anyone who tries to enter a surprise. Note that the Mahiki-wearer will have to sustain the illusion constantly, as will likely the Toa of Magnetism with his magnetic field. Unlike a rock or ice crystal that is created and then forgotten about, these things do not actually exist in that place naturally and will thus vanish once the power is shut off. Still, that means they will be able to respond in turn once someone tries to enter the cave, for example.

IC: Lerongu"What should I do?" he asked Madrihk.

IC: Madrihk (Ko-Wahi, moving from Ko-Koro towards the Place of Shadows)The group had started moving from Ko-Koro, still not entirely certain about their strategy. Madrihk's biggest concern was not the fight he knew would erupt, but how to ensure that the kidnapped Matoran did not get murdered. Had it been only one or two hostages, it would have been easy, because then the kidnappers couldn't afford to waste any in case they were surrounded and needed the continued threat of murder. With eleven, however, there was always a spare to make a point out of. One dead Matoran could be called a necessary loss for the efficiency of rescuing the others, but Madrihk knew that would never fly with the Sanctum Guard members. Likely not his own team either, for that matter."Stick with us in the largest group for now," the Toa of Ice said in response to Lerongu. "We'll lay a proper plan once we know who we're dealing with. What are you good at, by the way? Might as well ask now."

OOC: Sorry for the wait, VF.IC: RavageRavage mulled over the question for a minute. "The best place to examine him would probably be Ga-Koro. It has the nearest hospital, and thus, the nearest coroner."

IC: Suminaxe, Sideways:Suminaxe and Grata waited at the place of shadows. Suminaxe's masters influence was strong here. Very strong. No wonder it was called the place of shadows. Sideways had probably set up layers upon layers of illusions, this snow was just the first. Suminaxe cursed Sideways beneath his breath, on the way here they had almost walked off several cliffs. But now they waited, they would know when their quarry arrived. Suddenly, a illusion appeared. A purple Toa, from out of nowhere...The Fake being was just the illusion that Sideways called Crosswise, except larger. A Toa-Crosswise. Sideways had to remember that one for another time. A purple Toa. Stood out pretty well he decided. He indeed had prepared illusions in the valley ahead of time, but for now, he had to wait, focus on the two he had going, and the field. Focus...

IC: Lerongu"I'm fairly agile." he said to Madrihk.

IC(Byraher): "I can hear....either voices or something else." Byraher annouced. This canyon was perfect for detecting sounds. Very straight and not a lot of obstacles.

OOC: Excuse me, but I can't not stick Kivar in this group. His sonics is too useful for stealth, sonar, voice detection, etc. Who is Byraher hearing? Kivar will obviously be able to make out the noise, but only if I know what you are talking about precisely.IC: Kivar had come along at his own insistence, as one of the only Sonics Toa present. He muttered to Bryaher, "Me too..." He cupped a hand to his ear and used his power to boost the volume to where every one in the small area could hear it as well, though he kept the noise in the general area of the group.OOC: Cinnamon, just post/quote what we heard thanks to Kivar.

OOC: I'm assuming it's a long way off, the place of shadows, so it takes just a little while longer to reach the group.

IC: Sideways:......When we get guests, they'll be greeted by a army and a snowstorm."

OOC: Don't want to make it too easy, now do we? :PIC(Byraher): "There! It's echoing again." she said to the Toa of Sonics.

"Oh, then it's nice to be a part of this group with you," she says with a smile. Turning back toward the slope, she beckons for Riversong to walk with her as she asks Nova,"So, have you ever seen the stars through a telescope?"-Mef Man

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)As Amalod, Riversong, and Nova set up, Esao was in a semi-horizontal position against the hilltop, observing the east, where Ko-Koro's remains sat nestled in the distance."I'm not seeing any hostiles on my end," he called out to Krayzikk. "What about you, Terminator?"-Teezy

IC: Krayzikk"Nothing." Krayzikk called back, from where he sat, several yards behind Amalod. "I'm disappointed."

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"Got any cigarettes? We could toss some packs in the air and shoot at them."-Teezy

IC: Krayzikk"No. Haven't got any weapons, either." He held up a knife. "Well, except this."

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ga-Wahi)"Laaaaame," said Esao with a smirk. "Man, Kray, you're breaking my heart here. I--wait a tic."He reached into his bag and withdrew several bags of oil-coated Madu, turning to the Titan with a mad glint in his eye.-Teezy

IC: KrayzikkA grin split Krayzikk's face. "Yes. Karz yes."

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"Here, here, you take these," he replied, handing them to Krayzikk. "Throw 'em up in the air and I'll nail 'em."-Teezy

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk grinned, and hurled one up. The thing was flying fast and high. The instant he fired, a second would be hurled in the other direction.

OOC:I don't really get what you're saying. That the echos need some time to travel? That shouldn't be much of a problem for a Toa of Sonics since they can hear for quite a distance.IC: "I think I can make it out...something about an army and a snowstorm. Or a harmony and a blowhorn, though that sounds unlikely." Kivar whipsered, his excellent hearing picking up the noise. "Madrihk, I think we should prepare ourselves for a fight. Let me know if you want to chance it by bringing in the Rahi with a Mask of Summoning, should a fight come."

OOC: Byraher isn't a Toa of Sonics. I guess this is just another one of those hiccups. :PIC(Byraher): Byraher felt a little relived that they had a Sonics Toa with them.

OOC:I knew she was a Vortixx. But I was confused-I though you were talking about what Kivar could hear.IC: Kivar continued to cast his senses about, looking for any potential evidence of the enemies. Kivar though quietly to himself. If there was an army, it was a quiet one-armies generally made a lot of loud-noise. "I really spend to much time with Le-matoran if I think in tree-speak sometimes," he added to himself.OOC:Last post today.

IC: Cikren:The Toa of ice was bored of all the constant death and all that madness associated with this wahi. A message for a hostage exchanged appeared in the sky, what seemed to be a army of beings had invaded the Wahi. Cikren was bored of it all. Go somewhere more peaceful. Ga-Wahi. Relaxing by the beach? That would be nice. So that's what she did, she shouldered her pack of few belongings, and headed to Ga-Wahi. She'd had to remember to buy a swimsuit before she went to the beach. Thank Mata Nui she knew the way...OOC: Cikren to Ga-Wahi.

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)Boosh!As soon as the first arrow pierced the fruit, Esao spun on his heel and conjured a second, sending it flying a couple feet over Nova's head and into the second fruit, causing another explosion. Two perfect shots, two seconds."Woo!" he crowed triumphantly. "Hey, guys, did you see that? Amalod, Nova, Riversong, Kray...?"-Teezy

"Don't light the entire are up even more," Amalod states. "If you want to cause alot of noise and lights, go back down to the village. We're coming up here for peace and quiet." After a while, she adds,"But, those were great shots."-Mef Man

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"Of course they were!" he said, positively beaming and looking truly relaxed for the first time since Flyssa's death. "But...yeah. That's probably wise."Letting his smile slide off and adopting a stoic expression, he slung his bow over his back and began to search for his stringed seashell, looking to play some music.-Teezy

IC: Krayzikk"Boo-yah!" Krayzikk fist pumped. "That was awesome! I'm real glad you're on our side!"

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"Yeah," said Esao quietly, now playing a soft, melodic tune on the instrument. "Me, too."-Teezy

Amalod turns to hear the music being played by Esao; a smile on her face."If you promise to behave yourselves, you can come," she says with a small giggle. "I want you to come, Esao," the Toa says more seriously before adding,"And, you too, Krayzikk."-Mef Man

IC: Krayzikk"C'mon Esao. Let's go find something to do. You're brooding again."
