IC: Hoto - Courtyard
She could sense the staff, even before Era mentioned it. Not only could she pick out its narrow profile with her echolocation, but she could hear it softly singing from the simple motion of Era raising it up. Her hands seemed to move of their own accord to grasp it... but she yanked them back to her sides.
"Keep it," she said, trying to keep her voice emotionless. "I... I don't... need it."
IC: Fang - Gym
Fang moved the side to avoid the blade, grinning as Caoutchouc lost his weapon. He stood up, keeping a wary eye on his circling opponent. As soon as Caoutchouc strayed in his striking range, he swung his own weapon, only for it to recoil back and out of his hands as the boomeranging sword embedded in his shoulder. His breath burst out in a gasp as he yanked out the blade and threw it aside.
"More cheap tricks, Caoutchouc?" he seethed.
IC - Gym
"You asked for this, Fang! Lay down your petty grudge and we can stop this!"
His words are followed by a right straight and a left cross.
IC: Shield
Shield nearly exploded. He followed Root to the training grounds, grinning all the while.
IC: Era - Courtyard.
"I don't want it, or need it." I shook my head, knowing that this close she'd be able to recognise the motion. "It's yours."
IC: Rail - Gym
Rail decided to capitalize on the on the opening that Xara had given him, using his powers to coat his entire body in the metal shards that he had mentally willed the gym to produce. He then proceeded an attempt to tackle his opponent while his attention was still focused on the Rahkshi of Chain Lightning, coming from an angle that should've allowed him to avoid most of his momentum while he simultaneously tried to bring him to the floor.
IC: Shark / Gym
Caoutchouc's sword can return to him. Shark filed the information away in his emotionless mind as gave his sword another silent scrape.
Meanwhile another fight had started, looked like some Density Control Rahk was about to get pummeled. Head on a swivel, watch them both... Learn as much as you can or you'll die for your ignorance someday. It might be difficult but Shark was going to keep an eye on both battles.
IC: Revenge-Gym
Revenge was about tackle the lightning Rahkshi when he was tackled from the side. When they hit the floor Revenge swung his fist as hard as he could at his opponent's face.
IC: Xara - Gym.
I drew my Rahkshi staff and let my power flow into it. Lightning crackled along its length, and I slowly, almost serenely, reached down to poke Revenge with it. It was a gentle motion, but there was enough electricity coursing through the weapon to do some serious damage.
IC: Flash | Courtyard
This is none of my business. "I'll leave you two be. If you need me, I will be in the Library."
IC: Rider
Revenge still hadn't come back yet. Something was up. He sent Claws to go and see what was happening in the gym
IC: Claws
Claws scuttled into the gym and saw Xara attempting to fry Revenge. Claws ran up to her leg and attempted to tug her away from him.
IC: Fang - Gym
Fang hissed and stumbled back away from the blows. He could not defeat Caoutchouc in a fist fight. He needed to get back to Venom, but he doubted he would get the chance.
"Petty grudge?" he snarled, but the words did cause him some thought. He had no reason to fight, and no reason to lose. Despite his words, Caoutchouc was not a villain.
But he saw me weak. He took advantage of it! He doesn't deserve victory!
Fang charged forward towards Venom with a roar of rage.
IC: Hoto - Courtyard
She turned her head to the ground. "I... I mean... I don't want it. I can't use it."
IC: Root - Gym
Root strode into the Gym and breathed in the tangy smell of crushed metal. Several bold conflicts were acting out throughout the Gym, and Root just sat by the door to watch for a moment before stepping in and finding an isolated corner to practice. He would find an opponent after the other battles play out. For now, he can still demonstrate his skills to his accomplice.
With a haughty grin, Root began whipping vines and his staff around, tangling and beating the fresh dummies with an air of showing off.
IC: Shield
Shield drew his tomahawk and threw it, letting it hit the dummy in the head. He then charged and knocked over the dummy, pulling out the tomahawk and hitting it with the tomahawk.
IC: Sidonas - Gym
As Sidonas waited for Recoil's reply, he thought about who would say what when they found out he had delivered the fresh fruit and was planning on negotiating with the Nynrah Ghosts.
He knew some would call him, mad, someone might even thank him.
But, could he convince Tridax to give them something more than slop? It is unlikely, I should see if anyone else has a similar idea later.
OOC: Dane, you're up.
IC: Era - Courtyard.
"Bye, and thanks for all of your help." I said to Flash, before refocusing my attention on Hoto. "Well keep it, then. As a reminder."

IC: Xara - Gym.
I barely noticed the crab's feeble attempts to stop me. The moment it touched me, it exposed itself to the hundreds of volts of level three lightning, amplified by the Rahkshi stave in my hands, that were coursing through my body. That much electricity was enough to instantly incapacitate a creature that small, if not kill it outright.
I continued stabbing my staff down at Revenge.
IC: Recoil
Recoil didn't know what to say. "Well....I...." Recoil then did something she hadn't done since Omega's death. Recoil hugged Sidonas.
IC: Claws
Claws collapsed and rested on the ground, whimpering sadly.
IC - Gym
Petty?
Yes, it was. At least in his eyes...
Fang reaches for his sword, unfortunately, I can stretch. I do so and grab it, my arm returning to it's normal length with a rubbery *snap*. Faithful returns to my grip as well, it's latent power drawing it to my open hand. Now I've got both swords, I can only hope Fang reconsiders before anything bad has to happen.
"Yes, it is petty!" I jab at Fang with his larger sword, moving forward with the thrust to slash with mine. "Please, stand down!"
OOC
I can not grab Venom if you don't want me to. But I figured it'd be awfully hard to beat a stretchy man in a race to grab something...
IC : Zex - Library
It's better to be a living coward than a dead fool. I said this as I looked at the dead bodies. I had given the rahkshi two times to stand down. But they refused.
I looked at the dead body. Such a shame. I exit and walk to the library. I pick up a book on weapon making. I take a stack of books on weapon making and battle strategy.
IC: Rail - Gym
Rail's own arm shot upwards, parrying the blow aimed at his face. Seeing what Xara was attempting to do, he quickly rolled to the side, breaking off contact with his opponent before returning to his feet.
He had already had a taste of her lightning once today. He was not eager to have another quite so soon, especially since she had just leveled up.
IC: Revenge-Gym
NOOOOOOOOOO! Revenge shouted inside his head. Claws being hurt would be worse for Rider than any physical injury. But right than he was stabbed by the lightning Rahkshi. Electricity coursed through his body. He forced himself to rise and shoved the lightning Rahkshi out of his way with all of his strength, trying to get to Claws.
IC: Flash | Hallways
Flash left and headed towards the Library.
OOC: Flash is open for interaction
IC: Toxin and Stronghold/1st Person/Halls
They were back in the school and Bullseye left them to sleep in his room. Toxin and Stronghold went to check on Rider, only to see that he has disappeared, so they went to find him at his dorm, where Bullseye once went to send an apology note. They noted that the students were more frantic than usual.
IC: Sidonas - Gym
Hmm, now, to run this past Tridax I would need to-
Then it hit him.
He came back from his thoughts to see her hugging him.
Recoil, the same Recoil who just a day or two ago, had restrained him, called him a thief, and taken him to trial, was hugging him.
You'd think the situation would be awkward.
But it wasn't.
Instead of saying anything, or asking "Why?", he did what any sane Rahkshi who now had a Rahk he cared about hugging him.
He said nothing, but just hugged her.
Are you going to admit it now?
Fine, I'll admit it. I karzing care about her. And as more than a friend.
IC: Xara - Gym.
I wasn't so gentle this time. I swung the staff down at his back, angling the blades to bite deep. It was a miracle that he was still standing after taking a direct jab from my staff. I didn't plan on giving him a second chance to escape.
IC: Zex
After reading the books he walks to the gym entrance.
"Can I train without somebody trying to kill me?" I thought.
Seeing that the rahkshi inside were distracted I sneak in. I quickly imagine a thick-walled room inside the gym aurroundibg me in the corner o the gym.
"Finally. I can train in peace."
I thought to myself. I should start coming up with attacks that did not fail horribly. I summoned some training dummies and begin ripping them apart with Assasinator and my sword.
IC: Recoil
Told you.
Fine..
Recoil stopped hugging Sidonas and rubbed her head, embarassed.
IC: Root - Gym
Shield's tactics were effective, if not elegant. Root just laughed haughtily as he whipped around a vine to decapitate a dummy, then back again to break its stand. A real enemy could not have even touched him, unlike his accomplice's coarse tactics.
IC: Hoto - Courtyard
She couldn't stop her hands from snatching up the staff any more. She held it close and gently rubbed the musical blades absentmindedly. That clear note brought a small smile to her face as she replied. "A reminder for what? I... I don't need reminders."
IC: Fang - Gym
As he reached down for the sword, a stretchy arm intercepted the sword, and Fang's head snapped back to the source with a scowl. He straightened and simply stood with hands clenched in fists at his side, breathing heavily. There was no way to win this, even if he resorted to plasma. Caoutchouc was the greater fighter, and he had both weapons. He was still weak.
"Fine," he snarled. "But this is not over. Someday, you will be the focus of your own tactics. I swear on it."
He couldn't just leave without Venom. Just seeing its curved, hard-earned edges in Caoutchouc's dirty claws was enough for him to keep fighting, but he knew it would do no good.
IC: Revenge-Gym
A third shock! Revenge fell to the floor again. He crawled towards Claws, ignoring the others.
IC: Shield
Shield blushed under his faceplate. Root felt his tactics were laughable. Shield decided to show off a little. Shield threw his shield at a dummies head, chopping it clean off. He then grinned and fetched his shield.
IC: Claws
Claws continued to whimper, his body shocked.
IC - Gym
Fang had wanted violence.
He was unarmed and out fought. It would be easy to cripple him.
"...Do you know why I'm not striking you down, right here and now?"
OOC: Careful what you do to Fang, Cao... ![]()
IC: Era - Courtyard.
"Whatever you want," I shrugged. "That there can be beauty in violence, that you don't like fighting, or that I'm an idiot."

IC: Xara - Gym.
"Will you just quit!" I snarled, stabbing straight down at his lower back, aiming to stab right through him and into the floor, hopefully pinning him in place to prevent him from trying to continue moving.
IC: Revenge-Gym
Revnge's dense body protected him from the lighting Rahkshi's attack, the staff deflected off of his back. Revenge crawled to Claws, managing to get to his knees Revenge clutched the little crab to his chest. "It's going to be ok Claws, everything will be alright."
IC: Toxin, Stronghold, and Punch/Counterpunch/1st Person, Toxin's View/Gym
We passed by the gym to see Claws collaspe on the ground. Punch saw up and walked up to us informing me of Silencer's death. I was shocked and saddened, for I knew I wouldn't be able to get my rematch. Revenge was also here to attack Rail who apparently locked the door to the gym. But first we had to get Claws out of the way and get him to Rider. I went to handle that because Rided may not be able to recognize Stronghold, and Revenge and I briefly met once so he should be able to trust me. Stronghold and Punch would try to stop the fighting and save Revenge.
IC: Stronghold and Punch/3rd Person/Gym
"Stop fighting!" yelled Stronghold, "We alreay lost two students to violence."
Puncah and Stronghold were prepared to get Revenge out of here. Stronghold prepared himself, his Rhotuka launcher yet to be seen by others. It would pack a nasty punch to those who didn't expect it.
IC Vaalku
Vaalku frowned. "Thanks to her, one Rahkshi is blind and another is dead. She assaulted me and attempted to kill me."
"Whatever you do," He said, rising to his feet, "never talk friendly with her."
IC: Fang - Gym
To end an unarmed opponent had never occurred to Fang. He did not fight to remove obstacles, not anymore. But surely someone as dishonorable and angry as Caoutchouc could have had the thought cross their mind. It suddenly occurred to Fang that this was exactly how Omega had died. That final plea to end the fighting, the denial... the death. There was no reason for Caoutchouc to not kill him now, so why wasn't he?
"No," Fang said at last. It sounded pathetic after all of his rage.
IC: Hoto - Courtyard
Her grin widened, and she struggled to hug Era while still keeping a hold of the staff. "I... I don't think I'll ever use it for... fighting, but... thanks."
IC: Root - Gym
Root snapped a vine and snatched the shield right out of Shield's arms with another laugh.
"L-l-let's see what y-y-you've g-g-got," he stuttered as he readied his staff and tossed the shield back.
IC: Sidonas - Gym
Sidonas looked at Recoil after letting go, he rubbed the back of his head and looked at her, not sure what to say.
"Sooo...uh.." He rubbed the back of his head, trying to think of something to say without it being too obvious that he was asking her out, "Like I said, I can make more weapons and tools, I have one I am halfway through development with as a matter of fact. Care to see more?"
IC: Shield
OHMYGODI'MABOUTTODUELROOT! Shield contained himself from squealing as he readied his Tomahawk.
IC: Recoil
"I..sure." Recoil said, embarassed.
IC: Xara - Gym.
"Ugh...." Density Control was almost as annoying as Limited Invulnerability. So instead of trying to stab him again, I just tried to rest the staff on top of him to the electricity pour into him and the little Rahi he was holding.
His powers would do nothing to protect him from that.
______________________________________________________________________________
IC: Era - Courtyard.
"No hard feelings?" I asked hopefully, hugging her back. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have pushed you so hard."
IC Vaalku
Vaalku stood painfully. It was going to be hard to walk around for a while, and he was sure hungry... But Revenge hadn't returned, and he was worried. So saying, he nodded to the Rahk he spoke to and waddled out of the infirmary.
IC - Gym
"Because, you'd be quite well off dead. It would be nice and peaceful."
I hadn't put two and two together at first, but now... I had seen the paint, the love and care that went into the art work.
"If I killed you, it wouldn't hurt you. It would only hurt the people that care about you, people like Kat. You say I'm a tyrant, right? Full of pride and wrath? Look at yourself. Pride. Wrath. Greed and more that I care not to list. Your reckless nature isn't just reckless, it's selfish. Every time you put yourself at risk, you don't think of others, do you? You say you want to fix this school, but don't you see... It's impossible as you are now."
He tossed Venom at the other rahk's feet.
"If you want to fix anything, work on fixing yourself."
