  • OOC: TNG, the Rahkshi are inside the Hive, I think. As for me: AAWWWW YYEEAAHHH http://www.bzpower.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/cool.png Time for Trakuda to give the troops an inspirational speech, courtesy of Aragorn :PIC:Trakuda clutched his sword tightly, becoming slightly more serious at the cloud of giant insects amassing literally just across the jungle. He looked over at Reordin. Clearly more experienced, and probably older and better at pretty much everything. But if there was one thing Trakuda could do, it was talk. The Ko-Matoran got up on top of a large boulder, and spoke out to the small army of Matoran standing nearby."Sons of Ko-Koro! Of Onu-Koro, Ta-Koro, Le-Koro! My brothers." having got their attention, he went on, "I see in some of your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of the Matoran fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the Age of Matoran comes crashing down, but it is not this day! This day we fight!" he raised his sword, and his voice, "By all that you hold dear on this good island, I bid you stand, Matoran of Mata-Nui!"OOC: Let's do this thang http://www.bzpower.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/cool.png

  • OOC: I am writing up the start-post as we speak. Gimme some time to finish that and we'll finally be on our way to glory.

OOC: I assume Alfon's leader of the ILS aerial squad seeing as how he's deputy leader although he is not in charge of the Gukko force. They are their own individual group.

Yes, Alfon leads the ILS troops in the sky, while the Gukko Force is kinda independent. Cooperate with them to direct the aerial squad, but I'll let you have the call on that group's large-scale movements.

Hopefully this guy knows how to lead a suicide squad. Who knows, maybe I'll come back for seconds if he does.

I got through the final mission of Mass Effect 2 without losing any of my squad members, so don't you worry.

ooc: Hope its ok I join the other side?

Shouldn't be a problem. :) The Rama will probably keep our hands full too, so your character won't be 1 vs 30 either.IC: Madrihk

"Sulov Koskium, Skvadrron Commanderr oz Fourrz Rregiment, Sefenz Skvadrron. My deputy is Gavarrm," Here his prosthetic motioned to the casual Onu-Koroan in question. "I am acting commanderr oz zis forz oz Rregiment Thrree and Sefenz Skadrron."I prrezume ju alrready have a posizhun forr us in jorr plans," Sulov concluded politely.

"Ah, yes, the Ussalry," Madrihk said, nodding respectfully to the commander. "I'm glad you could make it. The people I sent to Onu-Koro tol me there was some trouble in the Great Mine, so I wasn't sure if you would be able to participate in this battle. Now that you are here, however, I've been thinking. You should join the other troops in the ground squad, but as a sub-group of sorts. You are riding crabs, which means you have a different method of approach than the rest. Sulov, you will keep command of your men, while Kethrye and Vompran over there will direct the squad at large. Speak with them and make an agreement on how best to arrange that."

IC - Kyju - Pala-KoroA leader. Someone ordering others. That was what Kyju heard. He turned, stealing a glance at the origin of the voice. A Toa of ice ordering others around. Target acquired. In a motion of what looked to be cracking his knuckles, he turned a ring around to face his palm, sliding off the fake diamond (to reveal a small needle) and slipping it into his pocket. Carefully putting his fingers into a fist, both hands went into his pockets. One slipped around a cache of throwing knives. He approached Madrihk in a friendly manner. He was smiling warmly, and looking Madrihk directly in the eyes."Is this the Island Liberation Squad?" he offered a handshake, extending his hand.

"Indeed it is," Madrihk said, looking up from his paper once more, but didn't get to say more before he was interrupted.

"Wait a minute... What the Karz team am I on?" Kahlynn blinked, then span on his heel and seemed to glide over to Madrihk."Hello, Icy Leader Guy, I'd like to ask what squad I'm on? Whatever it is, I wanna be on the guy with the booze's one if I'm not already."He paused as Wots looked up what squad he was on."Wait! Actually keep me on Aerial, would ya?Wots' frequent editing then rendered this post redundant, and he returned to talking with Ril.

The Toa of Ice looked after the bumbling Skakdi before returning his attention to his papers. He jotted down a few things."Sorry about the mess around here," he said to Kyju. "There are so many new people that I still have my hands full. Now, will you be joining us, I presume? If so we could always need another warrior on the ground squad."He glanced the extended hand, still doing notes on his sheet of paper, and smiled apologetically."Haven't got time for pleasantries, I'm afraid," he explained. "The Nui-Rama are stirring and the troops are growing restless. I'm desperately trying to get all the wheels turning so we can get the first shot in. Tell you what," Madrihk said, beginning to stroll over to the center of the village, "talk with your friends in the meantime and I'll get back to you." He indicated Ril, who had spoken the Toa's name.OOC: Not gonna let you poison my character when we are so close to a major event we have been anticipating for months; sorry. ;)So yeah, I hope everyone are here are ready to roll, for the attack will start as soon as I've figured out how to properly write the "chaaaarge!" post. :P

  • IC: Sulov nodded. "Affirrmative," He said, then turned and headed back to the square.Kethrye joint commander...Decent, but unsure of experience. Don't know the other, Sulov thought as he settled into place. Thankfully, looks like we Ussalry have a good degree of control over our selves.Gavarm's hand moved to the hilt of his own arming blade. He had that same hint of a smile again-the slight tugging of lips to the left, eyes almost winking, a demonic cheer hovering in the contours of his kanohi."Ah'm afraid that those there Nui-Rama ain't gon be too happy with what me and my sword gots ta say ta 'em."Then the hand dropped away from the blade's sheath. Gavarm's countenance became casual again in a flash."But let's git back 'fore Sulav 'comes con-cer-ned," He said, lightly kicking his Ussal to turn and start trotting towards the square.

  • OOC: Looks like I made it just in time ^^IC:"Yeah, well, Half of what I see on this rock of an Island is crazy." Rhow grunted at Viloz, giving him a small sarcastic smirk that vanished quickly as she addressed his questions:"What do you think? Maybe you don't remember but the father of all creeps is responsible for the sorry state our fine species is in. I don't care if it was him or a minion or whatever. You don't mess with Skakdi without getting paid back. That's why Skakdi only. I don't trust the Vortixx, too many angles. Matoran are weak. And Toa bound by their weird code. None of those is a replacement for a good grinner. Look around. These people are not used to war. For them this whole thing is an exception. For us it's home. I say we use that and send the Makuta back down whatever black hole he dragged his filth out of."--------------------------------Five minutes before their departure, Leah stepped back out on onto the landing-pad, where the Matoran under her care and charge had assembled, next to their fully loaded and ready Kahu. The Le-Matoran had geared up for the coming fight and her role in it. She had strapped a large leather-pouch to her thigh, filled with more supplies, in addition to her backpack, which also held her decorated Bo-Staff in place. The rucksack was held in place by straps running across her back, holding her shoulder-armor in place. The left pad of which was decorated with coloured feathers, showing her rank. She was definitely ready. The birds were excited, scratching at the ground with their claws and shaking their heads back and forth slightly, occasioanlly calling out audibly. Their riders, tamers, caretakers and medics were standing lined up in front of them, waiting for her to give the word. Leah let her eyes wander across each of them for a moment. "You all know what the mission is, so let's keep this short." she spoke up, loud enough for all of them to hear. "The ILS has asked the force to assist them and that's what the wings are going to do. It's our duty to make sure they succeed, any way we can and that they all come home safely. I know you'll all do your best, so let's get to it! Mount up!" The Matoran nodded, some even cheering a little, before turning to their birds, performing last-minute checks and climbing into the saddles. Their co-pilots took the reigns and led the birds to the take-off strip of the pad, forming up a row of Kahu-pairs. At the front of it, Kara was waiting with Sunclaw, the largest of the Kahu present. Leah walked up the length of the colum, making a list-minute inspection of her own until she finally reached the front. Kara climbed into the co-pilots saddle and Leah took the reigns. Looking over her shoulder she grinned at Kara. "Let's fly."Lightly pushing her heels into Sunclaws sides, she signaled the bird to take off. It called out loudly and started running, until it hit the edge of the platform. With one flap of its large wings, the Kahu took flight, dropping down a little, before it had enough speed and lift and began to climb higher. Following Leah's lead, the rest of the support-squadron followed suit, the pairs of Kahu taking off in quick succession, a twin.-column of birds rising into the Le-Wahi sky. They executed a gentle turn so their heading would be Pala-Koro. They couldn't miss it. It was situated right between them and the ominous rising shape of the Rama-hive in the distance, buzzing with the bodies of countless Rama.On Leah's hand signal the Kahu broke from the tight column-formation and formed up behind Sunclaw in an even wedge for the rest of the flight. The assembled fighters of the island liberation squad and heir present allies were treated to the sight of over a dozen Kahu approaching the clearing in the forest from a distance. The birds flew in a tight circle and slowed down before touching down at the edge of the clearing where they had enough room. Being the first to touch down, Leah hopped off of Sunclaw and Kara took the reigns. She looked up at him in the saddle. "Unload all the gear and prep the Kahu for medevac." she ordered. Kara nodded and Leah turned, walking over to where the majority of the assembled fighters was. her mission-briefing had told her who to look for, so it wasn't too long before she spotted Alfon. Him calling the air force members made it easy as well. Walking up to him she quickly introduced herself with a smile: "1st Lieutenant Leah, Gukko Force. I'm in charge of ground-support for the birds. I was told to coordinate with you."

I want the big ones set up around the hive in positions that can do the most damage. I want everyone to have grenades! At least six, ten for Matoran! If we can take out the Rama in groups, that'll make this much easier!"He turned to the group."And don't forget that Rama do not have central brains! • I got through the final mission of Mass Effect 2 without losing any of my squad members, so don't you worry.

OOC: Katuko, you just made my day :lol:IC: Alfon / VilozAlfon was somewhat wowed by the Gukko Force's entrance, not used to seeing the Le-Matorans fly in person. If he was to steer a Gukko or Kahu along someone, these guys would be it. As the female Le-Koronan approached him, Alfon put on his natural and unresistably likeable smile."Pleasure to meet you Leah, I'm deputy leader Alfon of the ILS and head of its aerial squad." Alfon started, introducing himself."If we weren't in the middle of the war right now, I'd have a nice chat with you about your spectacular entry but instead I want to know if there's anything I should know about you and your squad before we proceed."-Viloz continued to stare into space as he pondered on the words Rhow just spoke, gears turning as things clicked together in his mind. The Skakdi had no personal grudge against Makuta himself which surprised him but he had always been curious about the lord of shadows and his reasoning. On the other hand, his new acquaintance did make a good point: you don't mess with a Skakdi and get away with it.Overall, Viloz was impressed with Rhow's arguments and he could see now that she would make a fine leader. That and what else would he do if he turned down this offer? Live a peaceful life in Le-Koro, play cards...get old doing that...Man, what have I been doing with my life?"Well-" he licked his lips. "I believe that I'm going to accompany you lest I want to miss out on all the fun and make myself a new name apart from 'Card Thief'."Viloz was smiling now.

Akiinii turned around and saw Plagia jumping onto a Gukko bird with some other Toa. Akinii ran over and (somewhat) nimbly leaped onto the bird, landing next to Plagia. "You mind if I come along?" he asked. OOC: I don't actually know if a Gukko bird is big enough for two Toa... I need to brush up a little on my Bionicle knowledge, it would seem.

The Skakdi of Plasma grinned and muttered, "Perfect."To take it for a test drive (he had, of course, never ridden a Gukko before) he climbed aboard, the mount being very willing for a complete stranger, and took off, circling the village a few times before becoming satisfied with the Rahi. He patted it on it's feathered neck and smirked. He could swear the Kahu smirked back, but passed it off as his imagination.Casting his gaze to the Rama hive, Kahlynn gulped: he had not foreseen such a huge amount of Rama, being foreigner and all. He was glad the other combatants couldn't see his expression up here, for it would take away his image.OOC: All opinions funded by Kahlynn.

We're the support-unit for the fighting wings, which means every Gukko Force crew and their bird as well as you and the birds you're riding. If one of the birds or you are injured, try to make it here as well, we can either give you a new bird or patch you up, you'll be safe here. We can also provide evac if need be, either on the ground or by Kahu. "------------------------Rhow nodded approvingly. "Welcome aboard, Card-Thief. Let's see what other name you'll make for yourself in the future." The fermale Skakdi finished her drink, emptying the glass of water in one long sip. "Alright now. Maybe after all of this is over, he'd have to spend some time with the Le-Matoran to pick up some useful skills."That sums it up, I guess. Our role's pretty obvious: distract the Rama, kill a bunch and throw a brick or two here and there at the hive for all the good that'll do."Looking up at Kahlynn, Alfon cupped his hands around his mouth as he began shouting at her."Oi toothy! I'm trying to get the group organized so I'm going to need you down here right now. We'll have plenty of time for test driving and high-flying later."-Imitating Rhow, Viloz downed the last of his drink, enjoying every inch of alcohol and froth that poured into his mouth before setting down the glass. Luckily for him, the Skakdi always had a tolerance for alcoholic beverages, rarely ever getting drunk: bad stuff when you're playing cards all day, every day."Sounds like a plan."Now turning to Unari, he wore a deadly serious look on his face."Remember that if you don't ever see me again, meaning I'm probably dead, know that I've always loved you man." he said before turning around, snickering.OOC: Vezok, I just saw your painting of Rhow and I have to say, I am wowed. • IC: Reordin (Pala-Koro)As the others squabbled and argued, Reordin and his Sanctum Guard forces sat, watching as their Lieutenant poured each of them a shot of bourbon. Reordin poured the last of the bourbon into his own glass and raised it."Gents," he said evenly. "I'm not sure how many of us are making it out today, so just in case...I want all of you to know that it has been my genuine pleasure to fight with each one of you."He took the shot and smiled softly as his troops did the same.-Teezy

  • IC:"Grand squad, assemble!" Kethrye shouted, just to make sure there weren't any member's missing. Finally, it begins. he thought. This is what we've been preparing for those last couple day. Let's hope we don't botch this up and die.

  • OOC: @Katuko Fair enough. I'll try again later. :PIC - Komisk - Hive Attack Pre-Game ShowKomisk smiled awkwardly, not having fought with any of the surrounding men. He simply watched as the other men took their drinks, displaying a rather pitiful expression. Of course it had been a mistake that the Lieutenant had passed him over when the drinks had been poured, right? Of course that was the case. -Kyju - Pala-Koro"Of course. I'll bother you with my pleasantries and offers later," his tone betrayed the passive aggressiveness of the words, sounding kind and almost accommodating- completely fabricated of course. His gaze fell on Ril, and he instantly began making calculations. Ril wouldn't be able to recognize his heel turn, and therefore could be a valuable asset when it came to looking like a reliable person. With one man to speak for him, he could seem fairly reliable. But with two..."How are Onuzek and the rest doing? Are they here as well?"

  • IC:"Hey guys, you forgot to give this guy a shot!" Trakuda said, pressing his hand on to Komisk's shoulder, grinning, "Not me though, I don't drink."
