If it was any less lit then-" she looked round at him and her smile faded. "You were being serious, weren't you? Well, there's always the, um, B-tunnels."

  • IC: ZurianaZuria was about to turn into a darker, narrower tunnel, when she spotted something further up. "Hold on..."Moving closer, she saw that it was a severely damaged cart full of various items, evidently for trade. And nearby lay two things that made Zuria go pale: Matoran corpses. "These people are dead." she whimpered. "There's nothing we can do. Let's get to the village and tell them about this, the Ussalry will be able to fix it." I hope. They headed into the darker tunnel to the side, and found that it was nearly pitch black; a winding maze of cramped conditions. "I have a feeling this isn't the right way," she breathed, turning and expecting to see Krell, but saw no one and nothing but black. "Krell? KRELL?!"She heard footsteps approaching, and hoped to Mata Nui it was her companion.OOC: Option N or Option K? You decide :P

  • IC:But it wasn't Krell that greated Zuria, instead, a dark, evil laugh came from the tunnel, followed by footsteps. Footsteps of two beings, coming closer...IC: KrellI had next to no idea where I was. I had lost Zuria somewhere back, but with these dark tunnels it was impossible to tell. Strange, though, my eyes seemed perfectly used to these lighting conditions.

  • IC: UnknownThe faces of the attackers were obscured in the darkness, but parts of their armour reflected a symbol which was strangely familiar to Krell. "Your master is greatly displeased with your actions, Krell." hissed one."And the sentence for displeasing the Lord of Mata-Nui isn't pleasant." said the other in a deeper voice."Lights out." one of them raised a hand and out came a bolt of lightning, which flew straight at Krell.

  • IC: Hound, Onu-KoroHound was, for the lack of a better word, broken. Physically, he lay on a hospital bed, his entire side covered in sanitized bandages. The Onu-Koroian doctor was talking to the Po-Toa, who nodded and said nothing, absorbing the details of his wounds. Mentally, Hound thought of all that happened. Not just Onyx's Catacombs, everything. From the beginning. Hound was silent and emotionless as his mind slowly replayed the centuries of his existence, skipping all that was cheerful and slowing all that was painful; The things he had avoid for ages untold. His failure. His cruelty. They struck him like truncheons, but he had no reaction. He simply watched and mentally, silent, remorsed and sought forgiveness. The one thing all seek. Forgiveness. The finality of salvation.

  • IC: KrellThese guys were trouble.Dunno what really tipped me off. Maybe it was the bolt of lighting shooting towards me. Or perhaps the fact that they had Zuria at swordpoint. And that symbol... That symbol!Oh Karz.Wait, lightning, right. With an almost casual movement, I stepped aside, and the bolt of energy struck a far wall. "Whoops." I said, before holding up my hand. What happened next I couldn't really explain. It was all instinct, as I focused on something, and suddenly a tonge of black, evil-looking flames sprang from my outstretched hand. Heading right back towards my attackers. The heck was THAT?

  • IC: Krell"You don't want to do that," I said flatly to the being using Zuria as a shield. I was serious, but there was another reason I had said that. The second being stopped, just for a moment, but it was enough for me to bring my Kanohi powers to bear. The second being would suddenly find himself being crushed under his own weight. Just lifting his arms would become work. Standing itself would become painful. As all this was happening I was on the move, already running towards them, the small dagger that I had I held reverse-grip in my left hand. A dark nimbus of flames surrounding both my fists.I was mad. And they were in twenty different kinds of trouble.

  • OOC: Filler comedy postLaughia Episode 1: Food Fights and Beer BottlesIC: Zharuk, Dakan, Vhisoli, Pineas, and Cosi The meeting having been adjourned, the members of the HWP's high command, minus Jomar Kyrae, went back to whatever business they were doing. Zharuk thought it a good time to dive into some of the food he had bought. "Hey, guys," he said to the rest of the toa. "I've got food. Want anything to eat?" "Something to eat would be nice," Vhisoli replied. The others nodded. Zharuk opened the take out boxes to find 6 burgers, 6 steak sandwiches, a whole pile of poutine, and a big plate of ceaser salad. The rest of them stared. "That's a lot of food," Pineas finally said. "No wonder you took so long to get here," Cosi continued. "How expensive was that?" Dakan asked, staring at the food incredulously. "Well," Vhisoli finally said. "We can't just let the food cool down like that; let's eat!" The five of them promptly dug into the food. "This is great," Dakan said with his mouth full. He ended up spitting in Vhisoli, who waved her arms about in surprise, accidentally hitting her salad fork and sending a whole bunch of lettuce flying into Cosi's face. "What the-" he muttered in surprise. While moving his arm in surprise to wipe off is face, he hit some of the poutine and it hit Zharuk in the face. "WHOA!" he shouted and he ended up falling backwards. His foot kicked one of the salad plates and it landed on top of Dakan's head, leaving him covered in vegetables. " :censored: " muttered Dakan as he yanked the salad plate off his head, which then hit Pineas in the face. Unlike the rest, he reacted calmly to it and didn't throw anything. Their were no more incidents for a little while and they managed to complete their meal in peace. After they were done and had washed up, Zharuk brought out the beer. "Anybody thirsty?" he asked. All of them nodded and he threw each one of them a beer. Zharuk then grabbed one for himself and sat down. He studied the bottle closely. He continued to stare at the bottle before finally asking "How do you open this thing?" He tried to twist the metal cap off but it was on too tight, or so it seemed. In reality, he was just twisting it the wrong way. Finally, in frustration, he tried to use his plasma powers to melt the cap off but he ended up vaporizing the bottle too. "Let me show you how it's done," Dakan said smugly. He triggered his gravity powers and tried to yank the cap off, but it didn't work. He kept on pulling and pulling until finally, the bottle shot up into the ceiling and broke. everybody dodged as the shards of glass and a splash of beer came down. "My turn" Pineas said, and created a vine to yank the cap off but ended up throwing the bottle into the wall. "Men," Vhisoli muttered rolling her eyes and tried use water pressure to open the bottle. She almost had it when BOOM, the bottle exploded not popping off the cap but breaking the glass. "Let me try," Cosi finally said. Grabbing his bottle, he gripped the cap with his magnetic powers only to find that it was incredibly easy to open. The four others stared at him like he was a god. "It's simply," he explained. "You turn the cap counter-clockwise."

  • IC: Unknown and ZurianaThe Toa tried to raise his arm to strike at Krell with his element, but his arm was heavier than the weight of his whole body originally. "No, no!" he cried, trying in vain to resist.Zuriana rolled away inadvertently, pressing herself against the tunnel wall and squinting through the black to try and see what was going on. The occasional flash of elemental energy illuminated the tunnel, but that was about all the views she got.The other attacker had just about recovered, and came forth to launch another lightning bolt at Krell.

  • IC: KrellIt was quite simple, really. I lept, and my run became a roll as the bolt of lightning sailed over me. Unfortunately, it was a bit too close, and I felt part of my back go numb from the partial shock I recieved. I ignored, mostly, and came up from my roll with my dagger held in both hands pointed straight up.Straight up towards the first being's torso. If anything, it would slide under his chest armor and probably hit some important stuff. If not, well, the kick I aimed for his knee might hurt a bit. Now that Zuria was relatively safe and out of the way, I didn't have to hold back.

  • IC: UnknownKrell's target leaned back, and made off with minor scratches on his chest armour. Unfortunately, the kick came as a surprise, and twisted his leg, sending him on to one knee. Using the rotation to his advantage, he swung his fist to Krell's side as he slipped. The other Toa staggered to his feet and drew his sword, preparing to strike.

  • IC: KrellI felt the shock of my dagger hitting hard metal all the way up my arm, and I felt the impact of the being's fist even harder. I stepped back, firing a blast of dark flames into the first being's face, hoping to stop him momentarily. Feeling was beginning to return to my back, but not much. The second one, the one drawing a sword, was going to be a problem. With that sword in this darkness it would be almost impossible to block those attacks.Unless...Unless. Without warning, I threw my dagger towards the only source of light, a lightstone mounted on the wall. The weapon struck, and shattered the crystal. The tunnel was plunged into darkness. Now, it would be almost impossible for my apponents to see my attacks. The elemental ones, atleast. I do this.

When the lightstone went out, his moans of pain broke the tense silence that rang through the tunnel. With a crackle, the second attacker's sword was wrapped in electricity, creating a source of light even as lightning danced from the weapon's tip towards Krell's estimated location.

OOC: I suggest we quote each other's posts. It'll make replying that much faster.IC(Tajeh): Tajeh was still a little shellshocked from the battle in the catacombs, but he was pulling it together faster now that he was above ground. Sorta. He said with a resigned grunt, and began to speak.A few seconds later, he was finished, having given Tajeh a paragraph-sized summary of his thoughts; Reflections on a hard, cruel past, and a future most likely the same. The Fe-Toa wasn't the most positive of beings, but perhaps an ounce of hope could be heard in his voice, a hope for days to come that would not contain as many dissapointments.OOC: No longer will Tirus's sentences end with 'lad'. In the darkness, it made me impossible to see. A bit more elemental power, and even the light from the being's sword dimmed.I was in my element. Here is where I belonged. From behind the Toa, I watch him almost boredly, as he struggled to find me. Then the ripping began. As he struggled to maintain footing, his arms stretched to the ground of their own accord, and he could feel his arms slowly being torn from their sockets. The gristle in his elbows, wrist and fingers was crunching, and with a sickening POP!, his arms came loose, forcing him to let out a cry of anguish. He couldn't give in; Makuta's will demanded it. But the pain was too great, he failed to summon even a spark to attack Krell with."Krell... You will rue this day... The day you turned your back on your master!" he managed to say as veins popped on his neck and temple.Eventually he could take no more, and the weight of his arms brought him face down on the ground.
