BZPRPG: Ko-Wahi

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)Esao, recognizing his dismissal, activated his Volitak and removed his arm from around Amalod's shoulders before walking to the other side of the hill and plopping down, tracing out shapes in the sky and making a point of not looking at the Red Star.-Teezy

"Well, then don't try it," she says to Krayzikk with a smile before turning to Esao. "Did you want to look through the telescope, Esao?"-Mef Man

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"Hm?" Esao asked, uncloaking and rolling over. "Oh, um...yeah, sure. Of course I would."He began to move towards the telescope gracefully.-Teezy

Amalod looks through the telescope and looks toward the Red star before taking a step back."Just close your left eye and look through the telescope with your right," she explains.-Mef Man

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)Esao did as Amalod instructed and began to look at the Red Star, along with several of the other stars around it."They're a lot brighter than I remember," he said, as if he hadn't seen the night sky in years. Which, really...he hadn't.-Teezy

IC: Krayzikk"Screw it, when Esao is done, I want to try."

"Can you see alright, Esao?" she asks the Toa of Fire before turning to Krayzikk. "You'll have your turn; don't worry."-Mef Man

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"Yeah," said Esao, sounding slightly awestruck. "I, um...I can see great. Wow...I missed the stars."-Teezy

"Good," she mumbles; glad to see that the Toa enjoyed the stars almost as much as her.-Mef Man

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)Esao turned around and furrowed his brow slightly, confused by Amalod's reaction."Um...you okay?" he asked awkwardly.-Teezy

IC: [Ril]"I have no idea what just happened."

As he turned around, he could see a big smile on the Toa of Water's lips. "Yes; I'm great. Just glad to see that you're enjoying the sky so much."-Mef Man

[iC: Rannin]"My senses are tingling still."

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"Cool."With a confused shrug, Esao turned back and began to look through the telescope once again."Um...is it just me, or does this group of stars form a big unicorn...?"-Teezy

Amalod giggles before pointing out,"Yes, that one does look like some kind of Rahi. There's quite a bit of shapes in the sky if you look close enough." -Mef Man

IC: KrayzikkKrayzikk pointed. "Those stars look like me."

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"Huh."Esao started to laugh."Someday, Great Spirit willing, a bunch of new stars are gonna form and there'll be a constellation of Sucogu riding a unicorn. That'd be all the prophecy I ever need."-Teezy

"That...does look like you," Amalod says with a laugh before adding,"Yes; that would be a nice constellation..."-Mef Man

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"Kray, you want a shot?"-Teezy

IC: Krayzikk"Why not?" Krayzikk walked to the telescope, Abd carefully looked through it. His eyes widened. "That's awesome."

"It is, isn't it?" she asks; a pleased smile on her lips.-Mef Man

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"Thanks," came Esao's voice as he deactivated his Volitak beside Amalod. "That was easily the funnest thing I've done all day, and it was really nice to see the stars again. Especially with you. I mean...all of you. Friends. Y'know?"-Teezy

"Yes, it's been fun with all of you," she says to the group; not entirely picking up on what Esao meant. "You two still need to look through the telescope," she says to Nova and Riversong.-Mef Man

IC: KrayzikkHe stepped back, thanking his lucky stars he didn't break it.

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"Cool!" said Esao, relieved that she hadn't taken his misspeaking the wrong way. "I'm gonna go and patrol, make sure Sucogu doesn't try and kill the fun..."Activating his Volitak, he slipped away from the hilltop before he said anything else that could be misinterpreted as romantic. If only Flyssa were still around. She knew what he meant...-Teezy

IC: NovaNighttimeOutside Ko-Koro, hilltop"I'll take a turn -- uh, if you don't mind, Riversong."Nova stepped forward, gingerly brushing the telescope's eyepiece with his right hand and tilting it so his right eye fit within its diameter, tightly shutting his left eye. He nearly recoiled when he saw the stars blazing back at him; he hadn't realized they would be so magnified."This is amazing," he murmured. Gently -- he didn't yet know the telescope's durability -- he tilted it about, glancing to the scope on its top once in a while to gain his bearings. He smiled faintly. "Wow. I never thought about how many stars there were, and now I can see--"He balked when a red glow filled his eye. A second passed before his mind translated the image as a single red point of light much brighter than the smaller, twinkling stars about it. A glance through the scope confirmed his guess: the Red Star."So... which stars are -- are supposed to foretell the future?" he queried, glancing to the side to see if Amalod was watching.

And she was; with a smile as always."I'm not big on those kind of things, but I think I heard the Red Star has some signifance in fortunes," she says more to herself. "I'm really not sure. I just study them from a scientific view. Astrology isn't my forte."-Mef Man

IC: NovaNighttimeOutside Ko-Koro, hilltopNova's gaze had returned to the telescope, though as he spoke again, he shot a couple discreet glances in Amalod's direction. "So what -- what about the constellations? I've heard about them but never really looked for them myself..."

"Well, if you look there," she says while adjusting the telescope. "You can see the unicorn that Esao was talking about. Legend says that a group of Toa will come from the north and one will be riding this magnificent Rahi. And, over there," the Toa starts while adjusting the telescope again," is what looks like a mask. It's not Krayzikk's but rather a different one that has never been crafted before." The Toa of Water continues to adjust the telescope and tell a myth about it; allowing Nova to look at the constellations before moving on to the next one.-Mef Man

IC: NovaNighttimeOutside Ko-Koro, hilltopNova nodded intermittently as Amalod continued her lecture, his eyes brightening in curiosity. To think: The stars had existed for so long independently of him, he was probably but a newborn compared to their wizened husks of hydrogen and helium, and yet he had heretofore never even thought to look at the sky as he retired for the night...When Amalod finished listing all the major constellations, Nova put in, "Er, sorry, but I don't think I can possibly remember all this, and I don't -- well, don't want you to explain it -- have to explain it all again the next time we go stargazing."

Amalod giggles after hearing what Nova had to say. "Don't worry; there won't be a test over this. I'm just trying to explain how amazing something like a star is. Mata-Nui has created so many wonderful things for us!"-Mef Man

IC: NovaNighttimeOutside Ko-Koro, hilltop"Well, yeah," said Nova, "but I don't just want it to... to go in one audio receptor and out the other. You know what I mean? I mean -- your lecture was cool and all -- but I, uh, need some time to digest it." He glanced up to the sky; perhaps some of the starlight was caught in his eyes, for they cast an unwonted nimbus of light across his face. "I never thought something as -- as simple as staying up late could, well, mean so much."

"Welcome to my world," she says with a bright smile. "The stars are my life and my world. Mata-Nui gave me the gift to study them and I intend on using my gift to the best of my ability. Thank you for letting me share it with you all," she says to the group.-Mef Man

IC: Esao (Hilltop, Ko-Wahi)"You're very welcome," replied Esao's disembodied voice with an almost-audible grin.-Teezy

IC: NovaNighttimeOutside Ko-Koro, hilltopSuddenly self-conscious, Nova nodded and surrendered to the itch sitting just above his upper back. "You're, uh, welcome," he said, his smile wavering a little but still grateful.

IC: Riversong (on a hilltop in Ko-Wahi)"Yes, you're welcome," Riversong said to Amalod, smiling slightly. "Would you mind if I had a look through the telescope now?"

"By all means, Riversong," she says; adjusting the telescope for Riversong to look through.-Mef Man

IC: Riversong (on a hilltop in Ko-Wahi, watching the stars)She nodded in thanks and peered through the telescope. The magnification impressed her, especially because she had never looked through a telescope before. The celestial bodies formed a sight that Riversong wouldn't soon forget. She lingered on what the others had referred to as the Red Star for a moment, then slowly stepped away from the telescope."That was amazing," she said, turning to face Amalod.

"It is," she says with a smile. "I'm glad that you all got to see the stars that close," Amalod adds before walking toward the telescope; preparing to pack it up. "I don't want to say this, but maybe we should get going. I, for one, am exhausted," she states. It had been a rather emotional day filled with leaving the academy, meeting everyone, being attacked, almost killing herself from falling, balling her eyes out, and now a peaceful ending to a hectic day.-Mef Man

IC: Zealokan'Okay, but here's our problem; How in Karzahni are we gonna find this son of a Brakas?' He sheathed his Reverse Blade after giving it a good sharpening.

IC: (Uar)"Maybe we should start by searching for witnesses..." Uar suggested.

IC (Dekuna): "Witnesses would be good, and give us reliable evidence against Xxeth, though I doubt we'd find many with all the chaos that has been going on. It's still worth a try though, and possibly our best option" Dekuna thought out loud in response to Uar's suggestion. "The problem is that we have almost no way of tracking him though the snow that's already a day old.I might have an idea, but it's a long shot. How about you, Zealokan, is your mask throwing out any ideas about how we might find him?"
