IC: Chromia"We talked, fell asleep, then we got up and have been standing at this door planning to get breakfast for what seems like much longer than a few minutes. Unless that was yesterday." Chromia shrugged. "So, breakfast."
IC: Caige (Inn, Onu-Koro)"Is it Wednesday? I don't like eating solid food on Wednesday's."-Teezy
IC: Chromia"I honestly have no idea. Let's find something halfway between, just to be safe." Chromia smiled, winking at Caige.
IC: Caige (Inn, Onu-Koro)"What, like calamari and gelatin? How'd you know that was my favorite breakfast?"-Teezy
IC: Chromia (The Unfortunate Fikou, Onu-Koro)"Lucky guess."
IC: Caige (The Unfortunate Fikou, Onu-Koro)"Well, I guess you could say that was a bit of a..."In preparation, Caige took his sunglasses off and then bit his lip before sliding them back on."...Lucky guess."-Teezy
IC: Chromia (The Unfortunate Fikou, Onu-Koro)Chromia stared at Caige in silence. "I don't get it."
IC: Caige (The Unfortunate Fikou, Onu-Koro)"Everyone's a critic."-Teezy
IC: Chromia (The Unfortunate Fikou, Onu-Koro):c"I'm sowwy Caige."
IC: Caige (The Unfortunate Fikou, Onu-Koro)"S'all good. You're hot. I can forgive you easily."-Teezy
IC: ZurianaZuria took the lead again, and cautiously shuffled down the narrow tunnel. The light was almost blinding after being in the dark so long, and it seemed to increase in intensity until the two reached its source, where their eyes adjusted to the chamber.OOC: I've described it like, three times already; care to do the honours? :3
IC: Chromia (The Unfortunate Fikou, Onu-Koro)Chromia gave Caige a quick kiss. "So, calamari and gelatin?"
IC: Caige (The Unfortunate Fikou, Onu-Koro)"Eww. No. That stuff is gross."-Teezy
IC: Chromia (The Unfortunate Fikou, Onu-Koro)"Smoothies?"
IC: Caige (The Unfortunate Fikou, Onu-Koro)"Now we're talking."-Teezy
OOC: Haha, uh, yeah, sure. :DDDDD Gimme a minute real quick...*goes off to find your posts*IC: KrellI raised an arm over my good eye, the light blinding me for a moment...OOC: I've described it like, three times already; care to do the honours? :3
IC:Rewera's eyes followed where Ravage was looking and she nodded in approval. "I like the way you think." she said. "Let's just hope the grate on the cover can be opened. Only one way to find out."The vent did turn out to be a good way to sneak into the great mine indeed. Out of view from the guards; and relatively out of the light of the nearest torches, somebody with the necessary skills could make their way in and out of Onu-Koro's biggest landmark with relative easy and without being seen. When they reached the foot of the wall under it, Ravage turned around, interlocking his fingers, while, Rewera took a few steps back. She took a running start, timing her steps so that the last one landed on her companions hands. Using his strength, he thrust her upward, where Rewera clung to the wall with her clawed hands and feet.As it turned out, the grate was not only acessible, but already open. "That's odd..." the Toa mumbled, before hoisting herself up and into the ventilation-shaft. It was narrow, but she was agile and slim and could turn around easily, reaching down, so Ravage could jump up and grab her hand.A moment later, the two of then were crouching in the vent, Ravage putting the grate back into place behind them. "Not a bad start." Rewera commented, before starting to crawl.
IC: RavageA small grin graced Ravage's lips. This was his element, his area of expertise. For the first time in weeks, he was comfortable in his own skin again. "Actually, this is a great start. Getting in to the objective area isn't usually so easy."It never even occurred to him how incriminating that might sound.
IC: Sideways:"We'll just go to the surface and bury it up there. Easy."
IC: Hajia, Onu-Koro"Not too bad." Hajia said truthfully, running a finger down the left side of her face, tracing a healing scar, given by the maniac Le-Toa Halion. "A little sore, but otherwise fine. I am sorta of hungry, though." It was a bit of an understatement; She hadn't eaten in almost a week. She had been starved for almost two complete weeks while training with Hound, but still, she would like to eat something if possible.IC: GravityI kept on smiling back for a while, oblivious to the thoughts going through the Toa of Water's head, before asking, "How are you feeling?"I felt good right now, really good, and I didn't think anything could change that.
IC:"Okay boss; I'll follow you"
IC: Gravity"Well, I'll go see if they have anything to eat here," I said, getting up from my chair, "And if not, then I'll look around for an Inn or something. And if nothing then," a grin crossed my face, "well, I suppose its good I remembered my survival training. Just hope you like cave Rahi..."Actually, I was beginning to remember a lot of things. Dunno what was causing it, but I wasn't complaining.
IC: Sideways:The two headed to the surface, where they promptly buried the money a ways away from the cave entrance, under a bush, so nobody would find it."Here lies money, that was never spent, and that lived a short and violent life as it changed hands between a group of goody-two-shoes and a band of mercenaries," Rook said, as if he was reading a eulogy.
IC:Quoribay chuckled before finally asking, "So what now?"
IC: Sideways:"We look for jobs of course! Now where is a place where we can recruit fellow cutthroats to our cause and get hired? This economy isn't doing so well ya'know. We wont even fix anything until the darned elections are over!"
IC:"Uh, there's this nice lil' town full of cheapskates, murderers, and scumbags down in the kumu islets," Quoribay said. "That seems like a good place to start"
IC: Chromia (The Unfortunate Fikou, Onu-Koro)"Alright then," Chromia smiled, walking out ahead of Caige. "I think I know a place that sells them."
IC(Tajeh): Tajeh raised his hands and shook his head. "No thanks. I learned my lesson with alcohol."IC: Tirus, Onu-Koro"That's good goal. Better than mine." Tirus said, pausing to grin at Tajeh, his eyes twinkling with humor. "Make it to the next cask of whiskey." He said truthful, pulling a rather large, silver cask out of the pocket of his trousers, taking a large swig of it, unaffected by the harsh liquid. "Goal accomplished, eh?" He joked, offering the whiskey to Tajeh.
IC: Krell"Karz..." I said, once my eyes ajusted. There wasn't anyother word for it. We we standing inside a chamber, obviously carved out my someone, judging by the marks on the wall. There was a single lightstone imbedded in the center of the chamber, the rock flickering from it's age. Directly below was a slab of rock, like a roughly cut bed. But it was no bed. Chains connected to the ground, obviously meant to hold someone... or something down, and large spots of a dark substance covered the ground.I felt my head grow light, and I placed a hand on Zuria's shoulder, not exactly sure if it was healthy for her to be here. This place made me sick... But not from the smell in the air, or the sharpened tools littering the ground, not even the stains that covered the slab of rock. No, what made me feel this way was that I remember this place.I had been here before.OOC: Dun, dun, dunnn! ![]()
IC: Tirus, Onu-Koro (Hospital, Reception)"Suit yourself." Tirus said with a grunt of indifference. After another swig, he replaced the bottle's cap, and stuffed it back in his pocket as he stood up, his tall, broad-shouldered frame lifted out of the chair with the air of a tired, broken man. "I'm going to tell Hound goodbye." Tirus explained, reaching the door to the medical rooms in a few steps. After Tirus located Hound's room, he quietly stepped inside, making little to no sound. Instantly, Hound turned his head, his eyes opening swiftly, revealing the concentrated, focused orbs of dark hazel beneath. "Ah, Tirus." He said, nodding at the Fe-Toa. "I was hoping you would talk to me before you left; I have something to ask of you." Tirus sat down in a nearby chair, listening intently to the ancient Denuian's words. A few minutes later, Tirus exited the room, quietly shutting the door behind him, and then made his way back to reception, only pausing to briefly to collect his overcoat from the Po-Koroian nurse, who had replaced it with a hospital gown while Hajia pretended to sleep. Pushing open the doors, he smiled sadly at Tajeh. "You have any plans?" IC: Hajia, Onu-Koro"Survival training?" Hajia asked, intrigued.
IC: Sideways:"Weren't we just there?"
IC:"Not that village filled with scumbags, criminals, and murderers. The other one, in the Kumu islets"
OOC: "Oh, I'm gonna go commit suicide now." Tajeh replied calmly. IC(Tajeh): Tajeh slowly shook his head. "No, not really. I think I'll head back to Ga-Koro and see if I can get another job as a boat carver or something of the like. I gotta restart my life."
IC: Sideways:"Yeah, haven't we been there already?"
OOC: Kuhrin's Surgery discovered
IC: ZurianaZuria's eyes widened, her nose recoiled and a frown spread across her face. "I fear we have stumbled across something we shouldn't have..." she breathed, noting the visible vapour that escaped her lips as she spoke. Looking up at Krell, she saw a look of recognition on his face, and his grip tightened. "Krell...?"
IC: GravityMy face brightened up. "Yeah, if you can call getting dropped in the middle of jungle and forced to survive with nothing but your element for a few months "survival training"," I said, my grin growing a bit. "You'd be amazed at what I'm remembering now."IC: Krell"Perhaps you should wait outside," I suggested, not able to meet her eyes. I slid the unconscious Toa off my back, and stepped deeper into the room. "There's something I need to do."I needed to know, I needed to find out. Who was I?
IC: ZurianaZuria took a few steps back, out into the tunnel again, a concerned expression on her face.
IC:"Unless I was drugged on the way back to Ko-koro and was asleep while we were there, then no"
IC: Krell I took a breath. And another. And then I stepped in closer. Immeadiately a sharp pain shot through my head, and I almost fell from the sheer overload of sensations that followed. I realized I had closed my eyes. When I opened them everything was different. Mainly, someone was strapped to the slab of rock. Karz, I was having another flashback. I was forced to watch the entire thing... It seemed like forever, but when I came too again, no more then a few seconds had passed. I took another step. And the memories flashed before my eyes again. I couldn't... I can't... I didn't get any closer. I had seen enough. I couldn't take it. But I had to, I had to know. With every step, another vision passed through my mind, each more real then the last. Eventually, I reached the slab itself. I stopped, breathing hard, and looked down at what had taken so much strength to get to. Stange. There was sonething there. Someone had scratched something into it, I wasn't able to see it before. On the slab it read:

IC: ZurianaZuria stepped back into the chamber, ignoring the foul stench and puddles of blood. "...Krell...?!"
