The damage to my koro is unfortunate, and I would like to know what happened. But right now we need to pack for our trip to Kini-Nui." Wraith went into his closet and found a coat and tossed it to Seven. IC - Veira - BuildingHer eyes visibly brightened at the mention of the nectar of the gods. Tea."That sounds divine. I like Earl Grey and a good Peach tea, but I hear there's this new-fangled 'Epic Tea' that all the cool kids are drinking," she said in a mock-Turaga voice.

IC: Riversong (talking to Janas)"Ah, okay. By the way, have you gotten a room for the night yet? If you're staying here, that is." Riversong said.

IC: Jasik (Flash-Freeze Suites, Ko-Koro)"Pffft. Epic Tea. It even sounds like it's trying too hard," he said with a grin. "Just a Peach Tea'd be really nice right now."IC: Esao (Ice Howl Inn, Ko-Koro)"Did you try asking Amalod about this?"-Teezy

IC: Janas (Talking to Riversong in the Ice Howl Inn)"I was just about to buy one for the night when you showed up, and if you don't mind I'd like to go to bed." he said. Then he went and rented a room for the night.OOC: I think I'll turn in too. Good night!

IC: Riversong (talking to Janas)"Good night," she called after him, watching her cousin go for a moment before heading off to her own room for the night. Locking the door behind her, Riversong set her small satchel of possessions down on a side table, then laid down on the bed. She pulled the sheets around herself tightly, trying to ward off the ever-present chill of Ko-Wahi. Before long she was asleep, exhausted from the day's events.OOC: And with that, I'll be off for the night as well.

IC - Veira - Ko-Koro"I agree. I'm not really in the mood to try something new anyway."She stepped through the wreckage, the debris blocking her way behaving itself and moving to the side. In the totaled building, she hadn't been able to feel the full chill of the Koro itself. Now, outside, her toes were freezing up and the wind was sharp. She didn't mind overly, however."Shall we?"

OOC: Sorry, I had to split for the rest of the night. It's the Sideway's who's doing that, they've accidently crossed into the location of the ILS/Shadow Hapaka situation.IC: Velan:The Bounty hunter drew her flail, looking at the sides of the mountain expectantly.

IC: NovaNighttimeIce Howl InnNova had been assigned a bedroom by Sucogu when he had been invited to join the group; it was to that room he went now, Room 18. The low hum of conversation emanated from Esao's room as Nova passed, but otherwise the hallway was silent.His room was small and nondescript, just another inn room in a years-long series of nighttime stays. Nova got into bed without looking around, reached halfway to the lamp before realizing it was off anyway, and closed his eyes.He didn't sleep, though -- sleeping took a while.OOC: No electricity? ...Right. "So, the question is, is this illusion intended for us or are we trapped in another plot?" the Toa of Fire says while looking around the mountain. "Let's have a look around and see if we can find who's calling this. We'll head up to the top of this hill," Vielah adds; pointing toward the peak of the nearby hill.OOC: Could I get a few more details on this "snow storm."-Mef Man

IC: [Ril]"So our current plan is to deal with the kidnappers, save the hostages and then fix up the village right?"

OOC: Check the discussion topic Mef, it should have the answers you need.IC: Velan:The bounty hunter nodded, hopping off the cart and running up to the base of the hill, continuing onward.

"See anything?" she calls out to Velan. Vielah decides to walk around the base of the mountain; glancing downward every once and a while to see if this storm was being generated from below.-Mef Man

IC: Velan:"No!" Velan called back, "Nothing but fake snow and sky!"

"Keep looking," Vielah calls back. The Toa of Fire continues to walk around the base of the mountain, but she couldn't see anything.-Mef Man

IC: Velan:The bounty hunter frowned as she continued to look for anyone who could be causing the false-snow. Nothing she could spot was visible, but she might as well keep looking. She wished she had an Aukau instead of her Huna, again, but it was no big matter to her.

IC: Madrihk"This storm is fake," Madrihk said with a frown, trying to peer into the dense blizzard lying ahead. "It's far from cold enough, and the wind doesn't really have any push to it. I am also completely unable to affect it with my power."The group was nearing the canyon called the Place of Shadows, on the Ko/Ta-Wahi border. They had paused there to send their scouts ahead, as Madrihk had not wanted to draw the attention of their adversaries before they knew what they were up against. Besides him stood Alexin and Lerongu, whom he had just been conversing with."If it's a trick, then we can't be far off. Alexin, conjure up an illusion of ransom money if you can. Unless Byraher tells me that there's virtually no resistance for us to face, we'll have to make them think that we are following through on their demands. Are you able to keep focus on it even if someone else carries it?"

"It's no use," the Toa of Fire calls out to Velan. "Let's keep going. The being doing this isn't close enough to hurt us."-Mef Man

IC: Velan:She nodded, and started to head back down the hill, jogging down so she wouldn't trip and fall. When she got back to the cart, the took the reigns, and waited for her boss to get seated again.

The Toa of Fire sheathes her sword while climbing back in the cart. Their "attacker" was either greatly camoflaged or generating the storm from deep within some area. Either way, this being wasn't any of their concerns now."Keep going; Ko-Koro is just over the next hill."-Mef Man

IC: Velan:Velan nodded, and started to drive the Ussuls to Ko-Koro again. When the cart rose over the hill, her eyes widened in surprise. A good portion of the village was destroyed, or buried beneath the snow.

OOC: I'm assuming Byraher is just a little ahead of the main group.IC(Byraher): The illusion snowstorm was an excellent trick. No visibility and these things tend to trick you. See something move and it might just have been the wind or an enemy. Hearing sounds was also a little more difficult, not much though.

"What the Karz?" Vielah curses as she looks across the half-ruined village. It looked as if a few buildings were on fire while others were nothing more than smoke and ash. There was also a good portion of snow covering some areas of the village. "What happened here?"-Mef Man

IC: Velan:"Nothing good," Velan commented, "I'd give a good number of widgets to the beings who pulled this off..."
